the below are the field mapping for the tcode CRMD_ORDER.

i need to update the above fields thru the program for the t-code CRMD_ORDER.
for Activity id--- CRMT_EXTERNAL_ACTIVITY_ID
location------CRMT_ACTIVITY_LCTN i am passing to the structure it_activity_h in the FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN.
for the status i am passing to the structure it_status in the FM CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN.
But still not getting updated.
provide some pointers on this to which structures to be passed exactly to update the above fields.

Hi,
i need to convert the time in to internal SAP format.
for ex: i am entering Date: 11.11.2008 time :12:29:45 in the Screen.
where it get stored as '20081111065900'
here 20081111 is date and 065900 is time.
Here i am passing the variable wa_appointment-timestamp_from of domain
type BCOS_TSTMP which inturn is a type of Dec 15.
pls suggest me any FM.

Apple TV 2 isn't recognizing that I have a season pass after update.

I recently updated to the latest update on Apple TV. I have a season pass to a show, but now my Apple TV 2 does not allow me to download episodes without paying for them again. I am logged in with my apple ID, so that's not the problem. I received am email saying that I had episodes available to download, but the instructions on the email are outdated (it wants me to choose the "download" setting, which doesn't exist. I suppose I can just download the episode to my computer and connect that to my TV, but that completely defeats the purpose of having the AppleTV. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Multi-Pass not updating

I subsribed to a multi-pass for a TV show. Ostensibly, the program automatically downloads new shows as they become available, but so far this hasn't happened--it's only downloaded the first one (the one that had just come out when I bought the pass). I know for a fact that new shows have come out since I bought the pass, and almost a week has elapsed so I don't think it's likely that the new shows haven't been put onto iTunes, especiallu since the show--The Daily Show with Jon Stewart--is quite popular. can anyone tell me why it hasn't been updating, and how to make it do so?

Info structures S031, S032 & S033 stopped updating since 09/2009.

In our DEV system, Info Strucres S031, S032 & S033 stopped updating after 09/03/2009. There are material documents after that date, but infostrucres are not updated. All these info structures are active, and all their requirements are also active. So, what could have gone wrong - how to resolve this ? BTW, in QAS and PRD, these info structures are being updated. Kindly help.

HI,
The structures are always updated when you execute a transaction that is supposed to update the struture, almost real time. The small technical difference: it is updated asynchronous.
Means you have a time difference of a few milliseconds to seconds from the synchronous posting of a material document and its update in the infostructure.
And if the update of the infostructure fails for some technical reason, then this would have no impact to the original material document. In other words, an update error of an infostructure can lead to inconsistencies.
Tthe regeneration of the infostructure is certainly the way to get the info back to have good numbers in the infostructures. However, you have to investigate first why you have this inconsistencies and what caused them, then you have to make sure that this failure will not happen again (maybe by implementing an OSS note), and then you can think about regenerating the infostructure.
For re-generation, nobody must post anything that updates this infostructure, and the re-generation can last some hours, so it is not a task that can be executed every week.

How can update the "Reason" in tcode CRMD_ORDER

I've done the below customizations to change the "Reason" for the service ticket status:
1. Define Catalog:
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Catalogs, Codes and Profiles > Define Catalogs
2. Define Code Groups and Codes
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Catalogs, Codes and Profiles > Define Code Groups and Codes for Catalogs
3. Define Code Group Profiles
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Catalogs, Codes and Profiles > Define Code Group Profiles
4. Define Subject Profiles
IMG > CRM > Basic Functions > Catalogs, Codes and Profiles > Define Subject Profiles
Also, assigned the Subject profile to the status profile.
But i'm not able to update the "Reason" for the service ticket status in the transaction code CRMD_ORDER.
Can any one let me know what is the BAPI / FM which will do this?

Yes, I did so.
In the transaction code, CRMD_ORDER, when i enter a transaction no.
There's a label called "Reason" which has to be updated with the correct reasons as per the status.
Example: For the service ticket status, "New Message", reason status must also be updated whenever a new mail arrives.
I think there must be a BAPI / FM which would definetly update this?

I had part of requirement as below:
" If the (LASTDATE) is greater than the move out date of the contract, use transaction code: FKKORD2 (SAPLFKK_ORDER) to update field ENDDATE (radio button) with a check and the field LASTDATE with the move out date of the associated contract."
Can anybody let me know the BAPI to perform this task.

Hi! I need help!!
I made an extension using Append Structure (I Added a owner field) of a standart table ( EBAN ) about "purchase requisition".
I want to update this field when a new purcahse requisitions is created , using the bapi BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE.
anynone kown how to do it?

to polulate the structure (BAPIPAREX) with the newly updated field, before PR is updated.

Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.

I set up the environment for the 2LIS_01_S001 DataSource (InfoCube 0SD_C01) accordingly these steps (as mentioned in another thread):
1) Activating LIS update - goto OMO1 transaction code
In the Updating Info Structures(S001) - double-click the Updating radio button for Info structure S001.
In the Parameters dialog box select Synchronous updating and choose ok.
2) Goto OLI7 Transaction code - run the statistical update.
3) Goto OLIX transaction code - setup version &( will be copied to actual version 000 for reporting
4)Go back to OMO1 do deactive the LIS Update, check radio button to "No Update"
5)Now goto LBW0 and choose option "Deactivate" Delta updating in LIS.
6) In BW, Replicate DataSource, and run info Package with Initilization.
7) Now again in R/3 we need to "Activate" Delta option from transaction code LBW0.
8) and last step is to goto OMO1 to activate LIS Update to Synchronous updating and save.
But in step 2 , I am getting an error i.e
Error 4 updating info structure S001
Message no. M2022
Error 4 occurred while information structure S001 was being updated.
The update was attempted with the following key:
&V3 0100000000000000290658
I am not understanding this error,so cant proceed further.

I have two systems in both i am doing the same process.
But in my one system i am getting error
but in my other system i am not getting error and my set up table is filled with records.
According to that note key figures sequence in S001, S001BIW1 & S001BIW2 should be same.
but i my other system, key figure sequence is different and i am fine working with it.
so why it is not able to fill my set up table for my other system ?

Passing values between event structure cases

Hello everybody,
I have a question concerning the event structure - how to pass values (let's say a string / the state of a boolean control / the value of a numeric control value / an array of numeric values) between event cases ?
There seem to be 2 situations here :
- when you need to pass the value of the control that triggers an event;
- when you need to pass the value of a control which is modified in an event case.
I have read the documentation but i still do not understand very clearly how to do this. Maybe you can point me in the right direction (maybe some threads on the forum that i have missed).

The first question isn't worded very well. What exactly are you looking to do? Are you looking for an event that specifically relates to that control? If so, just drop it inside of the event and wire it. Are you looking to trigger multiple events from the same control? Ie, you hit the control, event1 is triggered which then triggers event2 ... ? If so, you might consider taking a look at a different architecture. I can think of very few cases where I'd prefer do this over something like having the button trigger a state and using the state machine architecture.
Others have pointed out the Shift Register. This is the typical way to pass values between one iteration of a loop to another. We can assume you have some sort of loop outside of the event structure to make it run a second time. Put a shift register on this loop and the value wired into it will pass each iteration. But, if it's just a random control, you can also just leave that outside of the event structure and wire it in as well. This will provide the new value to the next occurrence of the event structure.
You really need to define your problem before trying to solve it.

Updating Oracle Certification, which exam I should pass?

My Solaris Administrator Certificate will expire in June, and Solaris Network Specialist in July, earlier in Sun there was one exam, for updating current certification. But now we have Solaris 11, which exam I can pass for updating my Solaris certification. Can I pass Solaris 11 exam, for example "transition to Solaris 11" for updating my certification.

Certifications do not expire, but we do recommend that you keep your certifications up-to-date. Exam 1Z0-820 will upgrade your certification to Solaris 11 (training not required, but recommended). There is not an 11 version of the Network Admin at this time, but your current certification will not expire.

VA02 user exit - cannot update append structure field in XVBAP/VBAP

Hi Guys,
I am currently using one of the many user exits in updating XVBAP to update the VBAP sap table in VA02.
However I am encountering a problem when updating a customized append structure field. When I change the value of the append structure field only it doesnt update in VBAP upon save event. Only when I also change a sap standard field (ARKTX) the append structure gets updated.
Is there a way to resolve this wherein even if I just XVBAP-<append structure field> only ... the corresponding field in VBAP gets updated?

Which userexit subroutine are you using to move the append structure field values to the XVBAP table? Are you having the user enter values on a screen during VA02 for the append structure fields, or are you setting those values within the code when the user saves? For the purposes of this response, I will assume you are not having the user enter the values, and that (from what you have described) you are using subroutine userexit_move_field_to_vbap.
While userexit_move_field_to_vbap sounds logical at first, you should be aware that this subroutine (which is called at the end of module vbap_fuellen) may only be called when one of the chain fields (in the flow logic of the VA02 screen) is changed. If you search for all the calls of module vbap_fuellen in screens of SAPMV45A, you will see that most of them have a list of chain fields with "on chain-request" logic. Since your append structure fields will not be listed in the flow logic of the standard VA02 screen, changing one of the append structure fields alone would not trigger the PAI module vbap_fuellen. Of course, changing a standard VBAP field (ARKTX was your example) could trigger the vbap_fuellen module (as long as it was one of the chain fields) which would consequently trigger the userexit_move_field_to_vbap subroutine.
You may want to consider trying USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE. Please explain further if I have misunderstood your question.
Anyone else out there have any ideas? Does my analysis make any sense?

S943 info structure updates

Hi,
I am having Issue related to infostructure S943,
When we create the Sales order and billing that time the ISV value is updated in to the S943 info. Structure.
But it is updating double value and happing for specific period only.
If I have checked the values in tables Sales order and Billing, I am getting the correct value.
If I checked into the test system, it is working perfect. Can anybody having the Idea about the same.

In the update rules , kindly check the date you have specified for the update
I guess you much have given the "Change Date " instead of Billing creation date.
hence one entry is created at creation time and other entry when it is changed .

Error while updating Task using pa_project_pub.update_project API

Hi All,
I am using AMG APIs "pa_project_pub.update_project" for Task dates update . I am getting the API Error message as : "For a shared structure or a Workplan structure, all tasks in the structure should be passed in correct hierarchy."
Even though I am passing the Task information in the task_in_tbl_type in correct order (Ex. For extending dates, Top Task first followed by Sub Task and vice-versa for the shortenings the dates).
Still I am getting the Error. Request you to help me in resolving the error.

Thank you All.
Actualy I was watching the thread and got no Reply.this enable me to search more for the cause and eventually for the solution.
The Error "The flex field values you have entered are invalid" was because of DFF values only. I found this solution from API code only. It takes me to PA_PROJECTS_PVT where I Found the Error Code and then to flex field validation and then to Task utility Package.
Actually when you are not passing any value for Attributes, It will take the Old values only. and If the old values fails to Validate, this issue may arise. Same was the cause in this case. For An attribute the Value Set was "Standard Date" and it was accepting "DD-MON-RRRR" from Front End, but keeping "DD-MON-RRRR HH:MI:SS" as a value in the Attribute. For Eg. 12-DEC-2012 will be stored as 12-DEC-2012 00:00:00. It was there for almost all the Tasks.
And when it was passed internally to API, It was causing the Error that Value enterted are Invalid.
I came to know only after running the Desc Flex Field Validate API, which PA_PROJECTS_PVT was using.
Got the Solution and feel like sharing with you all.
