need replacement fn module for LOG_SYSTEM_GET_RFC_DESTINATION ,
if OBJ_METHOD_GET_RFC_DESTINATION ,it contains 3 import parameters wat should i gv for
OBJECT_TYPE
METHOD
but in LOG_SYSTEM_GET_RFC_DESTINATION has only LOGICAL_SYSTEM as import parameter.

In the fm OBJ_METHOD_GET_RFC_DESTINATION
search for the values to be assigned to parameter object_type in dbtable TOJTB.
it can take the value 'ALELINK' or 'ALEMODEL'.
specify the Method to be called from remote in the 'method' parameter.
Also chk the fm RFCDEST_GET_FOR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM.

LabView Step Module requires an input path defined

I have a sequence step that calls a LabView module requiring a file path as an input parameter. If I select the Default checkbox in the module tab, which results in the path defined as a default value in the vi to be used, the step works successfully. If I de-select the Default checkbox and define the exact path in the TestStand expression field, the step does not work successfully. Note: the file path has a \N in the sequence of characters, i.e., "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\ ...". TestStand is interpreting the \N as a new line and this causes the resulting path to be corrupted. If I escape this, i.e., \\N, things work fine. My question is, how do I get around this without having to escape? TestStand documentation discusses defining strings as either ascii or binary, but this is not an option for a path data type.

If you manually type the string value for that parameter, you will have
to include escape characters, entering double backslashes for every
single backslash. However, if the string is passed as a variable, the
escaping is done automatically, so in that case you wouldn't need to
include the double backslashes. Since you are entering the string
directly into the "Value" field of this module's parameter, you will
need to include the escape characters for this path to be interpreted
correctly.

DMS-Object link to business partner (ISU-Module) required. Plz help.

I require to give an object link from DMS to Business partner of ISU module t code BP.
So checked up in SPRO- Control data- maintain key feilds, & i found that BUT001 is the transparent table which is used here. so i inserted the same in object link for my document type, but there was no screen no defined to it so i gave the screen no as 500, the tab has appeared under the objectlink tab in DIR, but the screen is not appearing, it is blank, also in the business partner Transaction the DIR table is not appearing.
What should i do? is there any other setting required, or the table which i have found is wrong. Plz help.

Function module required to hide assignment block for Opportunity.

I have an requirement where i have to hide the assignment block "subsequent assignment" for the opportunity. I dont have any idea how to do it. Is there any function module or BADI to do so.

Hi Raman,
there are several ways:
1.
Implement method DO_CONFIG_DETERMINATION and get another configuration for the overviewpage. In this configuration you can display the assignmentblocks as desired.
2.
Methods DETACH_STATIC_OVW_VIEWS in combination with REATTACH_STATIC_OVW_VIEWS.
Here you can iterate over all assignment blocks and strip those not wanted from the UI.
3.
In the business partner there is a BAdI for this. THere might be one for BT as well. Maybe someone knows, or debug for the call yourself.

I am trying to assess the different modules extracted in BW in terms of which module is more code intensive such that Abap skills is more required. Bt Abap, I exclude start routines, transfer and update rules. I am more looking at enhancements, user exits, function modules in R/3 and BW.

I want to know what all the areas to be considered in preparing this document such as, Number Ranges, Recruitment media, Recruitment instruments, applicant structure and so on.....

I have a requirement where in I have to get the final date if I add some days to the initial date.
For example I have the begin date as 11/02/2007...I have the number of days as 91...If I add these days to the initial date I will get the final date.
Is there any fm to achieve the same if i have the initial date and number of days...Please let me know..Its bit urgent

you dont have to go for any function module.You can directly add the number of days to the date for getting the final date.try this example..
parameters:
p_date like sy-datum,
p_days type i.
p_date = p_date + p_days.
write p_date.

Hi, From Hardware universe : The onboard UTA2 ports can be configured as FC Target/Initiator or CNA (FCoE target/Ethernet). The UTA2 ports are based on a dual port ASIC and both ports on each ASIC must be set to the same mode (enforced by Data ONTAP). Install X6589-R6 10GbE SFP+ modules or approved copper twinax cables when using in CNA (FCoE target/Ethernet) mode. Install X6596-R6 16Gb FC SFP+ module when using in FC Target/Initiator mode. CSS Newbie - Modules required for One-Legged topology

Hi all,
I'm looking to setup a system to load balance 12 http web application servers which talk to a backend database cluster. The servers are connected to top of rack 4948 switches which are dual homed to a pair of 6500 chassis for resilience.
Looking through the application networking pages on CSS's I think that a one-legged pair of CSS11503 switches (possibly in an Active-Active standby mode) connected one to each of the 6500's should do the trick. My question is does this sound sensible and would I need any other module in the CSS11503 other than the SCM?

Zac,
be aware that the CSS is splitting the traffic accross all the modules [no matter where the traffic came in]. So the more modules you have, the more connections the CSS can handle.
For this purpose we sell SAM module that have no interfaces and their only purpose is to perform loadbalancing decision.
Also, regarding one-armed solution.
At first glance it is easy deploy.
However, the CSS is a stateful device, so it requires to see for a single connection all the packets from the client and all the packets from the server.
In a one-armed scenario, this is not automatic. You need to set the CSS to be the default gateway of the server, or use client nat or policy routing.
If you go for client nat, the servers will see connections from one ip address only and you won't be able to perform stats about the clients.

OTV Module Requirement on Nexus 7009

Hi All,
We want to implement OTV between two DC within 4 N7K, I just wanted to confirm that what modules are required to implement OTV. We have only F2-E cards. No M series cards, No F3 series card at all int nexus.
I have gone through the below link where it is mentioned that F2 series cards does not support OTV. Only M series and F3 series cards supports OTV, is it true? or in 6.2 version OTV supported on F2-E series card ?
Any suggesion input ?

You are right, OTV is only supported with M-module or F3 card.
The F2 module is not hardware capable to do OTV.

Functon Module required for Creation of Outbound Delivery & PGI

I am creating sales order. Now, I am creating outbound delivery using VL01N by passing Sales Order & Shipping point...and upon creation of outbound delivery doing a PGI...
This can be done manually, but need to make it automatic, I mean on save of sales order i will do it. For this is there any FUNCTION MODULE which can be used so that using the Sales Order & shipping point it automatically creates Outbound Delivery & subsequently does a PGI.

Havent tried, but please check if we can manage via combination of below BAPI's:
1. BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SAVEREPLICA
2. BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC
3. BAPI_ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT_POST

Dear all,
I have two requirements
1)I have a huge pdf files(total 15) each of size 10mb these files need to be zipped in the sender CC ,set to XI and un zipped at the receiver ie I need 15omb pdf files at the receiver.The idea is to reduce burden on XI.
2)A huge Xml(400mb) file is split in to multiples of 10 these files must be zipped individually in xi and send the unzipped file to the receiver.

you are doing the simple file to file scenarios
just you are sending the huge data that is you want to zip the file
you can do this there is option in the channnel
if you are creating the sender channel there is option that is "payloadzipbean" select these option and
in the receiver side choose the unzip option
and sending the the source file
and check in to the runtimeworkbench

Is Quality management module required to be used for vendor evaluation?

There is vendor evaluation functionality in MM. Is use of quality management module is mandatory for this? I wish to track the performance of vendor regarding quality (How much he has supplied, out of which how many are accepted and how many are rejected). Can I get this report without using QM?

you can enter Quality results manually in vendor evealuation, so QM is not necessary for this, however with QM you can get the scores semi-automatic and automatically.
