Followup document and organization determination

Hello,
When I create a followup document (B - Activity) of an Activity (A), the system is transfering the organization determination (sales and service) from document A to document B.
How can I avoid this?
Document B has it's own determination once you choose the Reason field. But in this case the organizations are already filled and when I choose the Reason the service organization determination doesn't occur.
Best Regards.
JM

Hi,
You need to implement CRM_COPY_BADI, method ORGMAN. Assign this correspondingly in the copy control between Activity to Activity

  • How to determine the Country and Organization from IP

    Hi,
    I would like to determine the Country and Organization from a given IP. I have to write a JSP, which when given the IP address gives the country and the organization to which the IP belongs. The organization may be the ISP, or a MNC or any other corporate/government body, or it may be of an individual. I have to do it progamitically from inside a JSP?
    Any suggestions anybody
    Thanks in Advance for your reply

    even when tracking IP's, if it is static you can narrow it down pretty far - if it's dynamic, you can only narrow it down to a specific part of the country.

  • Report to show the followup sales documents and items

    Sales had executed many sales quotations with customers over a period of time.
    Now the Sales Staff wanted to know how many sales documents and what/how many sales items are being purchased by the customer with respect to the quotation.
    Is there a report that list out the sales documents and items created w/respect to a particular quotation instead of looking at the document flow which is difficult to diagnose.
    Thanks

    hello, friend.
    you can try table VBFA, where you can see sales documents and their subsequent documents.
    for a general listing of quotations, use tcode VA25.
    regards.

  • Benefits Documents and Configuration Documents

    Hello Gurus,
    Can you please send me the step by step document and the configuration documents for <b>BENEFITS</b>.
    Thanks,
    Karan.C

    Hai..
    The Following Steps will Definitely Help u..
    1) Define Benefit Areas
    In this step, you define benefit areas. Benefit areas allow you to have separate administration of different benefit plan pools. This division is primarily for administrational purposes and would not normally be used for eligibility..
    2) Assign Currency to Benefit Area
    In this step, you specify the currency for the benefit area.
    3) Define Benefit Providers
    In this step, you enter the providers of the benefit plans you offer.
    Example
    This could be the Insurance company, or Health Maintenance Organization that receives the benefit plan costs.
    4) Set Current Benefit Area
    In this step, you set the relevant benefit area for your Customizing activities.
    If you have more than one benefit area to set up, you must set up each separately. After you have set up all the plans in one area, you should switch the benefit area in this step and work through the IMG again, making settings for the new benefit area.
    5) Define Benefit Plan Types
    In this step, you enter the benefit plan types that you require for the plan categories predefined in the system.These categories are predefined because the system handles each differently. In order to reflect your own requirements regarding the categorization of plans, you define plan types within these categories.
    Plan types are a control mechanism for enrollment, since the system does not allow an employee to enroll in more than one benefit plan per plan type. This allows you, for example, to offer a choice of regular health care from different providers under one plan type, without the risk of accidentally enrolling an employee in more than one of these benefit plans.
    Within each plan category (for example, Insurance Plans) you should define one plan type for each sort of benefit plan that the employee is likely to elect (for example, Life Insurance, Spousal Life, Supplemental Life). Thus an employee can elect a plan from the Life Insurance as well as from the Spousal Life plan type.
    6) Define Benefit Plan Status
    In this step, you define the plan statuses that you require for benefits administration. You later assign these statuses as to your plans in their general data.
    It is important that you assigning statuses in order to be able to control the availability of plans with a minimum of effort. For example, you can control whether or not employees can enroll in a plan simply by changing its status.
    7) Define Employee Criteria Groups
    In this section, you can define employee criteria groups to determine how plan-related amounts are to differ according to employee age, salary and/or seniority (or the age of the employee's spouse or domestic partner). These groups are later in the customizing of plans, in the definition of plan-related amounts.
    You define employee criteria groups as follows:
    1. Define parameter groups that will include individual criteria groups.
    2. To each parameter group, assign the individual salary groups, age groups, and seniority groups that you require.
    8) Define Cost Groupings
    In this step, you can define cost groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this if you want to differentiate between costs for employees using additional criteria to those available in the cost variant. For example, you may want to use geographical location, job classification, or marital status as criteria. You determine how employees are allocated to cost groupings using the feature CSTV1
    9) Define Credit Groupings
    In this step, you can define credit groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this if you want to differentiate between credits for employees using additional criteria to those available in the credit variant. For example, you may want to use geographical location, job classification, or marital status as criteria. You determine how employees are allocated to credit groupings using the feature CRDV1
    10) Define Coverage Groupings
    In this step, you can define coverage groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this if you want to differentiate between coverages for employees using additional criteria to those available in the coverage variant. For example, you may want to use geographical location, employment contract, or residence status as criteria. You determine how employees are allocated to coverage groupings using the feature COVGR
    11) Define Employee Contribution Groupings
    In this step, you can define employee contribution groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this if you want to differentiate between employee contributions for employees using additional criteria to those available in the employee contribution variant . For example, you may want to use geographical location, weekly hours, or residence status as criteria. You determine how employees are allocated to employee contribution groupings using the feature EECGR
    12) Define Employer Contribution Groupings
    In this step, you can define employer contribution groupings and determine how employees are allocated to these groupings. You only need to do this if you want to differentiate between employer contributions for employees using additional criteria to those available in the employer contribution rule variant . For example, you may want to use geographical location, weekly hours, or residence status as criteria. You determine how employees are allocated to employer contribution groupings using the feature ERCGR
    SETTING UP OF PLANS(EG:HEALTH PLANS)
    1) you define the details of your health plans. 2)You define different options within a health plan
    3) possible dependent coverages for health plans.
    4)You define how costs may vary for different employees depending on their personal data,
    5) you define the actual costs for these various groups of employees.
    6)The final step is to bring together in each health plan all the information you have defined separately in the preceeding steps.
    7) Define Evidence of Insurability Conditions
    For certain levels of coverage, employees may be required to provide evidence of their insurability. In this step, you define evidence of insurability (EOI) requirements in accordance with the policies of the plans that you offer.
    Flexible Administration
    1) Define Administrative Parameters
    In this step, you enter parameters that apply to processing within an entire benefits area, including:
    •     Open enrollment period dates
    •     Default validity dates for adjustment/standard plan records
    •     Advance availability of future plans
    •     Dependent age limits
    2) Define Prerequisite Plans
    In this step, you define prerequisite plans.
    In order to enroll in a plan for which another plan is required as a prerequisite, an employee must be participating in the prerequisite plan on the day before he starts participating in the new plan.
    The system checks whether this condition is fulfilled during initial enrollment in the new plan only.
    Example
    An employee wants to participate in the Standard Dental plan. He must already be participating in the Standard Health plan or Deluxe Health plan on the day prior to the begin date of the Standard Dental plan.
    3) Define Corequisite Plans
    In this step, you define corequisite plans.
    In order to enroll in a plan to which another plan is corequisite, an employee must be enrolled in the corequisite plan on the begin date of the new plan. Enrollment in the corequisite must be registered by the end of the enrollment procedure at the latest. It is therefore possible for an employee to enroll in a plan and its prerequisite simultaneously.
    The corequisite condition is ongoing. The system checks whether it is fulfilled during enrollment and each time the benefits monitor is run.
    Example
    An employee wants to participate in the Standard Dental plan. She must must already be enrolled in or have selected the Standard Health plan or Deluxe Health plan at the start of participation in the Standard Dental plan.
    4) Benefits Adjustment Reasons
    In this section , you determine how changes to benefit enrollments are to be controlled within your organization. You do this as follows:
    1. If you want different permissions to apply to different groups of employees, you set up an adjustment grouping to do this.
    2. You define adjustment reasons for which specific changes are permitted.
    3. You define adjustment permissions to determine which adjustments are allowed per plan type, adjustment reason and, if required, adustment grouping.
    In enrollment, the list of adjustment reasons valid for an employee is displayed, and the clerk (using the standard enrollment transaction) or the employee (using Employee Self-Service) selects a reason for enrollment, according to which a benefits offer is to be generated. The system then creates an offer based on the adjustment permissions assigned to each plan .
    5) Define First Program Grouping
    In this step, you define first program groupings. Later, you define programs for a combination of first and second program groupings.
    Identical attributes are available for the setup of both the first and second program groupings, and they are therefore interchangeable. The fact that you determine macro-eligibility for a program using two dimensions means that you are able to make finer distinctions between groups of employees.
    Example
    An organization offers one set of benefit plans for hourly-paid employees and a different set for salaried employees. Hourly-paid employees may enroll in medical, dental and life insurance plans after a four month waiting period. Salaried employees may enroll in medical, dental, life and vision plans after a one month waiting period.
    6) Define Second Program Grouping
    In this step, you define second program groupings .
    Example
    An organization offers one set of benefit plans for full-time employees and a different set for part-time employees. Full-time employees may enroll in medical, dental and life insurance plans after a four month waiting period. Part-time employees may enroll in medical, dental, life and vision plans after a one month waiting period.
    7) Employee Eligibility
    In this step you define the criteria according to which you control eligibility for individual benefit plans within a benefits program (definition of micro-eligibility). You perform the following steps to set up eligiblity requirements:
    1. You define eligibility grouping to identify groups of employees for whom certain eligibility criteria apply.
    2. You create eligibility variants , which you later use to link eligibility rules to programs.
    3. If necessary, you define dynamic eligibility conditions relating specifically to actual hours worked/length of service, or zip codes.
    4. You bring your definitions together in the eligibility rule, where you can also specify further conditions for enrollment.

  • Help with exporting document and generating an enumerated value error

    Can anyone help me figure out why I cannot get this script to export the document and save it for the web?
    I keep getting the same frustrating "Enumerated Value expected".
    here is the script thus far:
    * attempting to create a script to insert names automatically within photoshop cs2. Similar to the PSP.
    tag = app.activeDocument;
    var lee = ["Barb","Belle","Betty","Carmel","Christy","Connie",
    "Debbie","Debra","Denise","Diamond","Dolceluna","Irene","Jacqui"];
    //determine if active layer is a text layer or not.
    if(tag.isBackground == true){
    alert("this is a background layer and cannot be changed.");
    else{
    alert("this is the name layer.")
    for(i=0;i<lee.length;i++){
    tag.activeLayer.textItem.contents = lee[i];
    var options = new ExportOptionsSaveForWeb();
    options.format = SaveDocumentType.PNG-24;
    options.interlaced = false;
        options.PNG8= false;
    var fName = lee[i];
    var newName = fName+'-'+tag.name+'.png';
    alert(newName);
    //EXPORT DOCUMENT KEEPS GENERATING ENUMBERATED VALUE EXPECTED
    // web.matte = MatteType.NONE;
    tag.exportDocument(File(tag.path + '/' + newName),ExportType.SAVEFORWEB,options);
    } // closes for loop
    }// end of else statement

    Yes the guide is misleading. It says 'For this property, only COMPUSERVEGIF, JPEG, PNG-8, PNG-24, and BMP are supported.'
    It really should say 'For this property, only COMPUSERVEGIF, JPEG, PNG, and BMP are supported.'
    But if you look under SaveDocumentType you will not find PNG-8 or PNG-24 listed in the values.

  • Create "Followup document" in Service Ticket

    Dear Experts,
    I'm performing mass creation for Service Ticket by using IDOC basic type CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE_U01.
    At the same time, i need to create a "Followup document" for the service ticket as well, and hence i utilized the segment E101CRMXIF_DOC_FLOW with below field population:
    APPL_SNAME = E101CRMXIF_DOC_FLOW
    RELATION_TYPE = VONA
    RELOBJ_TYPE = BUS2000116
    RELOBJ_OBJECT_ID = 1234567
    RELATION_TYPE_ATTR = A
    I can not get any Followup doc created. Basically i did tried to take off the value for RELOBJ_OBJECT_ID, but it still didn't worked.
    Could you please comment what went wrong? Or any steps that i have left out?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello FSCHU,
    Please refer notes 1036737 and see if this helps.

  • I have a ! next to some songs and i have to locate them under my music under my documents and when i do it plays in my itunes is there a faster way to do this?once i fix this can i do anything from it happening again?

    i have about 100 songs itunes shows a ! next to it says cannot find please locate i can locate them under my music under my documents and when i do it plays in itunesbut that would take a kong time is there a faster way to fix this?and once i do fix this is there a way for this not to happen again?

    Hello ryane84
    There really is not a faster way to link the songs. You could get the info on the missing songs to see where they sit on your computer and just move the files there before. Then you can organize your library to move them in the iTunes library folder or another place of your choosing. To keep it form happening again, the article does have a section on what to do to keep it organized when new media is added.

  • OMX4 - FBN1 - Number range for Material document and FI document

    47 - is for FI document number range in Material ledger FBN1.  OMX4 gives number range for Material document.  My question is how big the number range must be?  Since thousands of Materials involved, I couldn't imagin this?
    Anybody knows, how to determine the size of no. ranges in Material Ledger configuration?  SAP simply says, check no. ranges whether it meets the requirement....
    I don't expect an answer again, just check your business, how many transactions would be in a period, which is not quantifiable now?
    I would like to understand this from somebody's experience of using insufficient or excessive no. ranges, especially in this area.
    Cheers,
    Ashok

    What is the number range you are using? Year Dependent or Independent?
    When you don't know the document number consumption pattern you should use Year dependent number range in both OMX4 & FBN1. Observing this for a month will give a rough Idea and observing for a Quarter will give you a fair Idea and the result for a year gives almost near to accurate consumption of number ranges.
    The generation of documents is dependent on the number of materials and Profit centers involved. As much as possibe use Summarization at profit center level when posting to FI. This will reduce the number of documents and line items that are getting generated.

  • Got prompt "the location of the document cannot be determined" then presentation GONE!

    I'm freaking out! I hope someone can help.
    I started getting the prompt "the location of the document cannot be determined" as well as asking me where the movie "VIBCPart1" was, which I thought was odd, as that was the name of the presention - not a movie file. Then Keynote froze - that is, I couldn't save anything and it making me force quit it, and I did.
    When I went back to open it the entire preso was just gone - not in the folder at ALL. I did a search - nothing. I do have a duplicate for a backup but I did 12 hours of work on this project today - and I use Backblaze so Time Machine was turned off. And yep, there is some kind of problem with Backblaze! I await their response at this point.
    I have a lot of videos in my Keynotes - I often split my presentations up into smaller parts because of that to avoid huge files. I suspect this one got big. In any case, if anyone has any ideas on recovery and how to avoid in the future, I'd be very grateful! Thank you in advance!

    Only lately this started to happen to me as well. Problem happens in all iWork applications. Fortunately the apps never locked up completely.
    When I try to save a document, I get the dialog that the location could no be found and whether I want to Save As... When doing a Save As the original file is still there and the dialog prompts for overwrite permission. I could save my documents. Just the other day Keynote magically found the document location again when I cancelled the dialog and then right clicked on the document title. The path to the document is correctly listed. I clicked the enclosing folder name on the popup (which did not open, resp. the Finder did not come to front), but a subsequent Save (command-S) worked
    Very strange and deeply troubling.
    Another observation: after it happended some days ago I ran Disk Utiltiy Verify and it found some problems, which I repaired successfully. Just now I had the very same issue again and right away ran a disk verify. AGAIN issues with the disk (Incorrect block cound for a file, volume bitmap needs minor repair for orphaned bocks, invalid volume free block count). Could this be SSD related (MBP Retina with 750GB original Apple SSD)?
    Edit: some typos corrected

  • Exchange Rate in Billing Document and FI document differ

    Hi,
    We're facing an issue with the exchange rates b/w 2 currencies in the FI document. While the billing document shows one exchange rate for the item (based on pricing date of invoice) , the FI document shows a different exchange rate(latest date in 0B08).
    As a result the local currencies in the two documents differ.  Any ideas?

    Hi,
    Please chcek the EXCHANGE RATE TYPE in the COPY CONTROL from Delivery to Billing in the transaction code VTFL at item level
    Change the EXCHANGE RATE type to DETERMINE THE EXCHANGE RATE BASED ON CURRENT DATE, then it will determine the EXCHANGE RATE in the Billing document based on the OB08 settings.
    After making these changes the accounting document and the Billing will show the same value.
    Please revert back if you need further details.
    thanks,

  • Dont find purchasing document and item in RESB table

    Hi Guys,
       **I have a requirement to find production order for puchase document and item and get product cost, for this i am trying to find the link between purchase docuemnt and production order (other than material) and i found RESB table but some how i dont find Purchase document information in that table the feild is blank , could anybody pls let me know how can i ahcieve this??
    And i found one datasource for this 2lis_02_ACC but that is pulling only when purchase document account assignment happend and i dont find my required values from that source also.
    Thanks,
    chandra.

    This is a case where I would go to the MM or PP functional consultant on the project, or the end customer, to determine how they would manually connect the dots to get from the purchase order to the production order.
    There are ways on going about this, but it depends on the configuration of your R3/ECC source environment and at what point the data is required. For instance, you might be able to go from:
      EKKN-EBELN = BSIK-EBELN
      EKKN-EBELP = BSIK-EBELP
      BSIK-AUFNR = AFKO-AUFNR
    This would be after account assignment.
