you have to built a portal component based on jspdynpage and using jco to populate the field from backend as well to submit and retrieve the data.u will find doccumentation of the component if you have java developer role assigned in portal and portal development kit is imported to your portal as a business package.please also use the following links

Creating form so user can add fields if needed

I am trying to find out if you make a form with a field, is there a way to initially create the form so that when a user is filling it out and they need another line (i.e., there is a section for children -- but you only have one field) can you create the form so that the user can just enter or hit a down errow to add another field if needed? I don't want the form to have extra lines (fields) in it if they will not usually be needed by a user -- but can be added on their end. Hope this makes sense.

This sounds like something that our skip logic may be able to help you with. You could, for example, have a field that asks how many family members. Based on the answer you would display the number of Name fields.

Customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer

Hi,
i have a created a Custom approval workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010. This is two steps approval WF, All i did put the variable "CancelonRejection" Value "Yes" and one Approval action with 2 different users as Serial. Right now
Status, Requested by, Consolidated comments and comment fields are available on the approval form. Now i want to add some fields with radio buttons on Approval Form, so that 1st approver can select those radio/check box. Once 1st approver will approved this
then display all the values on 2nd approver approval from or send email to 2nd approver along with all the information from 1st approver.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer.
In the SharePoint Designer, you can customize the task form.
Here is a great article for your reference:

However, every task can only have one task form.
That is to say, the two approvors will have the same task form.
As a workaround, I recommend to customzie the task form using InfoPath.
You can create different view for the approvors.
You need to add form load rules to swich views based on the approvors.

XML Forms. Add a timestamp field

Hi all
I have a XML Forms project. I have included the valid from and valid until values and have tbs working.
Appart from this I want to insert in my form another Timestamp field.
In the datamodel I can´t create an entry of type timestamp, only date or time.
If I create it date and bind it to a timestamp reaader object from the toolbar I receive an error requesting to have a timestamp type of data binded to it.
Any help to do this?

there is no possibility to provide default values or vairable values for date and time properties in KM.
The only thing you can specify is the format:

One thing you could do is modify the xsl file and use some additional programming to fill the date whith the values you like.
But in the standard it is not possible.
Not only for XML forms, but in general for KM properties this is not possible...

Add field and Display future dated data in OrgChart

Configuration
SAP Talent Visualization by Nakisa 2.1 under LIVE connection.
Questions
1) Add fields to Details(for Position/OrgUnit/Employee) window in OrgChart
 We have a few requirements to display additional data in Details window.
 Do we need any developments to add the following items to Details window ?
Position's General Description data (stored in IT1002)
OrgUnit General Description data (stored in IT1002)
Name, Phone No., Gender(and other personal information coming from various infotype) of employees, who belong to position
2) Display future dated Organizational Structure in OrgChart
 We also have requirement to display future dated OrganizationalStructure.
 The future dated Organizational Structure should ONLY availablefor people from HR and executives.
 How can we do this?
3) Security Setting
 Regarding to the question above, how can we create the security roles (in Nakisa) for therequiremets listed below?
The security setting in SAP allows managers only can see employee's data, who belongs to the managers organization.
The security setting in Nakisa OrgChart allows every employee can see all organizations and other related objects.

You need to configure the integration schema to "extract" these fields in order for them to be available to OrgChart. I believe the file is called downloadSchema.xml and is found in your build folder. It is not the one in the SAPExtractor folder (that is for Staged). 
2) Display future dated Organizational Structure in OrgChart 
We also have requirement to display future dated OrganizationalStructure. 
The future dated Organizational Structure should ONLY availablefor people from HR and executives. 
How can we do this? 
 
This is not possible as OrgChart only displays one version of the OrgChart (the present dated structure).
 
3) Security Setting

Your bottom requirement is standard - unless you secure an item then every employee will be able to see all data.
 
In order to configure manager security you will need to undertake some XML configuration. This is not advisable unless you have experience of configuring the XML files, particularly with security as it is highly complex configuration. There are a couple of consultancies with specialist skills (Emeritis, ROC, Nakisa) that have the expertise to perform this type of configuration.
 
In order to do this you need to configure an authentication source and populate the user population and rolemapping sections of the LoginConfiguration_<type>.xml in the Authentication folder of your build. <type> refers to the type of authentication you are using (SAP logon forms, Portal integration with Logon Tickets etc). You will then need to map the roles in RoleMapping.xml in the Security folder of your build and then configure each role in Roles.xml. You need to create a hierarchyscope for each dataelement you are restricting data for and then add the security keyword to the sections in AppResources.xml that you are restricting with this particular scope.

How to ADD field in iview ?

hi,
in portal-iview i want to add a field.
when i go to 'portal-content -> open the iview with right click -> preview' and then
do ctrl-alt-right-mouse click i got to the customizing of the fields.
i know how to HIDE fields there, but i don't know how to add fields ? in the list
of the fields the necessary fields are available, BUT i only have to options:
hide -> YES or NOT PERSONALIZED
any ideas ?

the root element of this fields does NOT have the option 'decorate'.
it is the quoata overview of ESS : sap.com/ess~quotas
the top of the tree has option 'decorate', but this is above the necessary table where
i select the data.

How to Add fields in dynamic selection LDB BRF

I have requirement to add a field BSEG-ZLSCH in Logical Database BRF dynamic selection.

Dear Niteesh,
The Logical Data Base BRF reads table BKPF and BSEG, but there is no
option to include fields from BSEG in the dynamic selection.
You can display all the tables included in BRF, but only fields from
BKPF could be included in the dynamic selection. You cannot add
entries from BSEG, BSET, KNB1, KNBK, and so on that are listed here.
You are right, there is not note that explains this behaviour, but I
inform you what is the system design. This has been confirmed by my
Development colleagues.
Regarding to note 832997, this is valid for releases 500 and 600 when
New G/L is available. The system functionality has been enhanced in
release 500 so you can add fields from FAGLFREESEL that is similar
to BSEG with New G/L.

Add field from structure maintanace option for datasource in LBWE (BI 7)

Hi,
while i try to add extra field (transaction:LBWE for data source(ex 2lis_02_itm)) from structure maintance option to add field from structure(MCEKKO) to res data source(MC02M_0ITM) , than it moves to left side but when make enter message comes that it will not populated in extrect structure(i.e in MC02M_0ITM OR RSA2),
but when we try to add extra field not by structure maintanace option in LBWE but form append structure option from that structure MC02M_0ITM ( that field is not in that maintanace option in LBWE) than it comes in that structure MC02M_0ITM and also can see in RSA2.
Than how can we use that structure maintanace option avialble for the res. data source in LBWE?

one another problem: when i try to activate 0order_quan key figure for cube 0pur_c01 for data source 2lis_02_itm at update rulen by assignig source field for that key figure , i am unable to activate - its remain in warning symbol only and getting further message while check that Target unit and source unit for key figure Order quantity are different.

Add fields so clients can sign electronically and send back

I've read a bunch of discussions about how to add fields to forms but none of them answered all my questions.
What I'd like to do is add a signature and text field (for date) to a PDF so that my clients can send them back signed electronically. I do not want to use EchoSign.
I have Acrobat Pro v9.5.2. I added a signature field and text field per http://www.adobe.com/accessibility/products/acrobat/pdf/A9-creating-accessible-pdf-forms.p df. I read on an Adobe forum that I was supposed to go to Save as > Reader Extended to allow the user to sign the document and send back to me signed. However, all I have as save options are Save or Save As. There's no Save As > Reader Extended option and when I choose Save As the "Save as type" does not include Reader Extended either.
Please post step by step instructions for how to do this (add 2 fields, save doc, send to client, have them sign and fill in fields and send back to me completed). Surely we can do this with 9 yes?

Here are full instructions for version 9.5.2 in case they're helpful to anyone:
How to add digital signature field to PDF using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.5.2:
1. Open PDF in Acrobat (Right click > Open with > Acrobat)
2. Go to Forms > Add or Edit Fields
3. Pop up box > select NO
4. Click "Add New Field" button on top left > select Digital Signature
5. Guideline-type things will appear > drag to where you want field.
6. Click on the signature field and change name if you'd like.
7. Click "Close From Editing" button on top left.
8. Go to Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader > Save Now
9. Save it where you'd like
How to Digitally Sign a Document with Adobe Reader
1. Double click the signature field on the bottom right of the contract. A pop up box will appear.
2. If it's the first time you'll be signing anything in Adobe Reader, select bottom option, "A new digital ID I want to create now" > click Next
3. Fill in your name and email (required) > click Next
4. Enter a password and then again in "Confirm password" and write down your password somewhere so you'll remember
5. Click Finish. You're now ready to sign doc
6. Enter the password you just created into "Password" field
(To import graphic of your signature, from "appearance" field, select "Create New Appearance" > Enter title like "signature" > click "Imported graphic" option > click "File" (not sure but file might need to be a PDF) > click Okay and click okay again.
7. Click "Sign"
8. Save document - give it a name > Save.
9. You should see signature in the signature field
At any point in future you can come back to signature and right click (or ctrl click if mac):
You can clear, validate, etc.
If doc has been modified, you can "view signed version" or "show signed properties".
Edit > Protection > Security Settings
You can see any digital IDs you've set up, remove, add new ones, look at usage options,

ADOBE Forms Central - add and remove rows (PDF Form)

Hello, I am currently evaluating ‘ADOBE Forms Central' to set up a form with editable fields. I have set up a test form in ADOBE Forms Central and was unable to insert an option to add and remove rows similar to the print screen attached. Is this possible to do using ADOBE Forms Central or should I be using

A dynamic XFA PDF form can do this. You can create such forms with LiveCycle Designer, which was included with the Windows version of Acrobat Pro prior to version 11. It is now a separate product.
XFA forms can't be used with FormsCentral, however, only Acroforms can.

Interactive pdf form with text fields. Chinese fonts

Hi All
We have designed an interactive pdf with text fields. We need the text fields to be in a Chinese font. I understand that this cant be done in Indesign (change the inputting font to Chinese) I have moved the file over to Acrobat Pro and used the text property to amend the font to Simsun but when we try it out the font is still in English. Any ideas on how to remedy the problem??

Basically, you need to create a pdf form.
Add a text field to your form.
There you can choose which font your want the text to appear in.
The trick is, when you export from InDesign, in the "Advanced Tab" — set "Subset fonts when percentage…" to 0%, so the whole font embeds.'
I believe there's an option in Acrobat to embed the font as well, but I'm not recalling what it it.
But that will ensure the font appears correctly.

I'm trying to customize the iviews in MSS > General Information to add fields to the iViews. Thus, I need to identify what are the function modules they are calling. However, when I open sap.com/mss~eepro/ Web Dynpro component in NDWI, I could not see any model! Can anyone explain to me how does this application work then if it has no model to store function modules?

Hi,
if you have access to ECC System go to transaction ST05 and run the trace with the user who is having access to run the iView. after it is on go to portal and run the General Information iView. after executing that go back to ECC system and switch off the analysis and see the RFC trace.
it will show all the Function Modules that are called when executing the iView.
and it is better if we don't make any changes to the standard FM and instead use the custom FM to add the fields, since we did the same sought of development using custom fm.
creating a model and making changes to the application.

I thought I read somewhere that Livecycle version 8 could automatically add fields to your form by trying to guess where they would go. Is this possible?

You could create a batch process that executes javascript code. You would set up the batch process once and could run it on many documents. One example of how to do this using code modified from a thread on the Adobe Scripting Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1994082#1994082):

Validation in Form Data add Event

Dear All,
I am developing an add-on m facing some problems in the Form_Data_ADD Event. I have created a form using screen painter and i have done some validations for few fields those fields are mandatory. after entering some data iam closing the form it will show a messageBox saying do you want to save the changes or not n if i give yes its saving data. but it has to show the error message saying certain fields are mandatory.please suggest some solution regarding how to validation in such a condition.

I do my validations either in the Form Data Add event, when BusinessObjectInfo.BeforeAction = True or in the ItemPressed Item Event, when pVal.BeforeAction = True. In both cases, if I need to stop b1 from adding the record, I set BubbleEvent to False.
I guess that in your case it's not working because you're catching the BusinessObjectInfo.BeforeAction = false or because you're not setting BubbleEvent to False.
