FPS Issue

I have created a 12fps swf (calculator.swf) that simply has
six independent numbers that change on each frame - think of a
calculator gone crazy !! I've then created a another swf at 1fps
and use the playmovie function to play the calculator.swf. The
obvious problem is that I lose the speed at which the numbers
change.
Is there anyway to run a 12fps swf inside of a 1fps swf ? If
not, how can I simply code a set of numbers that change fast
independently of each other ?

You can mimick the 1 fps with a 12fps SWF. Simply make each
keyframe last for 12 frames, and you effectively have a 1fps
animation. That way, you aren't dealing with multiple
framerates.

  • GTX 260+ N260GTX-T2D896-OCv2 fps issue in final fantasy xi

    After spending two days scouring the net, I have not been able to come up with any kind of solution to my problem.  Once upon a time, a set of beta drivers were released to fix the FPS slowdown issue on nVidia based cards, but said drivers do not function on this card.  Are there any specially tuned drivers that will solve the fps slowdown?
    I'm using windows 7 at the moment, but vista 64 is my normal OS.  If there's any information needed that I'm leaving out, please let me know.

    You should look for a patch on the game's support website. If you don't have problems with any other games, its an issue with that game, not the card.

    Hey guys I just aquiered FME 3.1 and wantede to stream some casual Starcraft 2 but I have some issues getting it to run as smoothly as I wish for it.
    To start off my speccs are as follow
    CPU: i7 3Ghz
    Memory: 8gb ddr 3 Corsair 1333 mhz
    Gfx: Nvidia 460gtx
    Win 7 64x

    My problem is that I am @ 19-20 fps when I want to be running with 30 I could lower the output resolution, but tbh I would hate to lower the quality, since I've seen ppl with alot worse spccs run with a smooth smooth stream. So I guess my question would be, how do I improve my fps with out destroying the quality, I dont mind lowering it, but I would hate to make it really horrible.
    So I guess basicly, how do I improve fps, without reducing my quality to much.
    Should be said that if I check my taskmanager, or system resources it seems that I have plenty resources free.

    I think problem is not with Machine configuration and with Upload bandwidth.
    According to me its with VhScrCap. Software is not able to capture more than 20 frames because of which FMLE is also delievring this much FPS. To confirm my assumption you can check the Encoding Log of FMLE while encoding. Input FPS will tell you value of farmes being captured by device. Please check its value.
    Please let me know the number of drops as well in one session. You can share the screenshot of Encoding Statistics for complete information

  • Exporting to QT: FPS issue

    Hello all,
    I've made a presentation in Keynote that I would like to export to exact 25 FPS. Choosing under custom, there is a way to select 25 FPS, but after export in the movie inspector in QT it says somthing between 23.4 and 24 FPS. I don't understand why this is happening.
    Any suggestions?

  • (canon 5D 3 Magic Lantern .raw) fps issue in premiere pro. Pls help

    I took a shot with Canon 5D 3 Magic Lantern(.raw converted to cdng) at 23.97 fps which is reflecting as 24 fps in the premiere metadata? How to change it to 23.97 fps without affecting the quality of my clip?

  • FPS issues

    Im having the same issue with FPS as I saw in another topic, but it didnt help at all.  I can sit at anywhere from 22-57 fps while streaming so long as my cursor is on FME.  Im using VH Screen Capture to capture my desktop.  As soon as I move my cursor anywhere off of FME, or try to alt-tab to a game Im trying to stream, my fps drops to 1-3, maxing out at 4 fps every few minutes but never going higher, and my bit rate goes to hell as well.
    Im currently using Vista with the latest version of FME 3.0, and checked my CPU useage while streaming, and FME is only using an average of 14% of my CPU.
    Really wondering wtf to do, as none of the replies soo far in the topics Ive read have been of any help(lowering the input/output resolution did nothing, increasing the bit rate did nothing, nothing changes that as soon as I go off of FME, my framerates die.)
    Im using a dual core 2.55 GH, 4gig DDR3, Radeon 4780x2 vid card, and an 8mb cable net connection.  I should have no issues whatsoever with this type of hardware.  Also, on games like WoW, I run in 25 man raids with 50-140 consitent fps(50 only if there are effects happening on every inch of my screen), and average 85ms(latency).
    Does anyone know whats going on here?  I really want to stream raids and other games I play on justinTV, but right now Im stuck streaming everything with my webcam, which is crappy quality compared to a desktop catcher.  Very aggravated.

    Problem is in VH Screen Capture software. It is not able to capture fill FPS frames. Till the time yoyr cursor remains on FMLE, VHScreen capture has to capture constant frames which it could do at higher FPS as well but the moment you start changing screens on your desktop, VHScreen capture could not capture sufficient frames at dynamic content because of which input FPS drops.
    FMLE does not have control over input FPS. If your Input FPS is low then there is nothing that FMLE can do.
    To improve yoyr input FPS, Try to capture smaller size Video from software or use higher core machine or use soem another screen capture software like UScreen, Camtesia etc

  • Flash Player 11.x standalone - weird fps issue

    Flash Player 11.1 and 11.2 - 64bits
    FlashDevelop + FlexSDK 4.5.1
    Since 2 or 3 weeks ago, when I launch my standalone Flash Player, it's often really really slow for no apparent reason. If I set my project to run at 60 fps, it will stuck between 25 and 32 fps, for maybe 30-40 seconds, then maybe it will speed up to 60 fps, even if the project is actualy emtpy - nothing at all, just an empty document class. I started noticing this when I first start playing around with the stage3D but as I said, it happens even with a blank project.
    I observed something really weird. Let say my standalone runs slow at 32 fps, then if I simply open Google Chrome besides it, then the standalone start running at 60 fps !!
    The problem is the same with FP11.1 or 11.2. It doesn't seems to happens with the browser plugin, though I would have to double-check that.
    Any help is welcome, as this problem is really annoying when developing!

    Having more or less exactly the same issues with Stage3D, regardless of if the flash runs in a stand alone Projector or in IE. As soon as Chrome is started the FPS goes up to 60 and closing Chrome drops it down to around 40.
    Did you or anyone else find a solution for this issue?

    With this configuration I run BF3 with about 80 fps (average) with minimum 58 fps and maximun 102 fps
    Recently I acquired some components and now I have a new PC with same graphics card:
    msi z97 gaming 5 (BIOS 1.0 - 08/2014)
    intel i5 4690k
    16Gb (2x8) RAM kingston HyperX Savage 1600MHz
    msi r5870 lightning
    With this new configuration (the other component as well PSU, HDD ecc. are identical) I run BF3 with about 45 fps (average) with minimum 30 fps and maximum 60 fps
    I am really surprised how the PC is worsed with a new motherboard and a new processor (good for gaming).
    Because you are expert on benchmarking, Is there something that I'm missing? Is it possible a similar scenario with new PC and minus performance?

    Pratically there is no difference in terms of performance and I see that on some games as well as BF3 with same custom settings I have:
    on old PC a range of fps (60, 105)
    on new PC a range of fps (35, 75)

  • Radeon HD 7850 low fps issue

    I have been playing WOW and on the lowest settings and DirectX 9,  I am only getting 20 fps sitting still.  In battles it will drop down to 13.  I have the most recent drivers and nothing seems to be working.  Any suggestions?

  • Evaer Skype Video FPS Issue

    I recently recorded an interview via Skype using Evaer Skype Recorder. The video was recorded as an MP4 at 25 fps. When I import the video into Premiere Pro CC, it automatically imports at just over 23 fps. In addition, the video sequence goes from the original 13 and half minutes long to nearly 15 minutes long. As you can guess, the sound sequence ends well before the video does. When I modify the clip and interpret the footage at 25 fps, a great deal of the clip disappears. I also tried converting the clip to a different format using third party software, but even doing that makes the end of my clip disappear. Again, the original MP4 plays fine in Windows Media Player and Quicktime Player and only lags slightly (because Skype video typically lags a bit anyway). Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to import the footage at the correct fps and correct length without losing the end of the clip?

    Are you using the NEW ITEM process (link on page #5 at http://forums.adobe.com/message/2276578 to see) to insure your sequence and video match?
    Are you absolutely sure your video is not using a Variable Frame Rate... which causes the kind of problems you describe

  • FPS issue who do I belive quicktime or fcp

    Hi there could anyone help
    I opened up some DV pal footage that I captured FCP then I opened it up in quicktime.
    I problem is that in the inspetor it does not state the right fps for the clip for example 24.96, 24.98, 24.99 the clip does play at the right FPS 25. i final cut is says that the footage in 25 FPS so who am I to belive

    I had some 30 fps footage yesterday that QT stated was playing at 32 fps yet the clip remained the same length on playback.
    Suffice to say I take that information with a pinch of salt.

  • PAL/25 FPS Issue

    I have iLife 05, and did a short film which I imported to iMovie and rendered in the 25 FPS format to get rid of that super-smooth "home movie" look. It worked in iMovie, and then I transferred it to idvd and burned it. When I played it, it still had that home movie look to it, so I looked in the idvd preferences and changed the playback to the PAL mode. It said that this would take effect upon starting a new project. I did the "idvd" option straight out of iMovie and burned it again, and I still got that home movie feel. This time, I explicitly selected "new project"in idvd, imported the imovie project, and am about to burn with the PAL preference already in place. Before wasting another DVD, will this result in not having that home movie vibe, which I'm trying to get rid of?

    anything else is possible, but causes trouble and is less convenient....
    you import the files by drag'n drop/import command? what files? what format? what codec? what video standard?
    you see... that confuses ME...
    your projects runs fine in iM?
    then do as you discribed yourself... export as QT Full Quality, deinterlace, import that into iDVD...
    and "home movie look" is normally discribed as "super sharp", not "smooth"... because video has extreme depth of focus, no motion blurr, BRIGHT colors + harsh contrasts....
    I did a lot of reasearch a while ago, mainly in the FinalCut section and on other pro boards... video=>"movie" is an art, you can spend $$$$ on plug-ins/add ons/apps on it.....
    if you miss the background knowledge, we can talk here for hours... it is the result that counts...
    just do it.

  • Webcam Instant fps issues

    IN the webcam console, the fps rate is absolutely fine. However, once an online chat program, for example AIM, is used the frame rate drops to about fps.
    It looks more like time lapse photography over streaming video. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
    When video is used with another person who doesnt have the same webcam, his picture streams in almost perfectly with very few hiccups.
    However, his view of me is extrememly glitchy. When i use the camera with my girlfriend, who has the same camera, we both get the low fps and glitchy view.

    Ok i solved my own problem. If you had the same problem as me, uninstall Quicktime, then try installing everything again. I personally had no problem wityh anything after I did that, and it gave me an excuse to get rid of quicktime. I hate that **bleep** program. Apple, kiss my ass lol.

    Where do you use your notebook? Do you use it in bed?
    The notebook should be placed on a clean desk where it has enough free space. Thats necessary that it can get enough fresh air.
    Do you use original Toshiba display driver or 3rd party driver?
    If you play games you should close all running programs, also your antivirus and firewall. Check also msconfig how much programs will be started with Windows and disable some that you dont need.
