Frozen display when call is forward to voicemail IOS 8
After upgrading my iPhone 5s to ios 8 and 8.0.2,I forward incoming calls to my voicemail with a double click on sleep button and when I unlock my device the screen has been frozen, so I have to lock/unlock my iPhone to fix this issue,can anyone help me?

If at least one of these phones is set to CF to VM then it will, if not, then no.
If none of your phones is set to CF to VM CUCM will not send them to VM, that is expected, if you need to ring, phone A, and if it is not answered to go to phone B, C... and so on, and send the caller to VM after you have reached all of these then use a hunt group, (the pilot can be set to CF to VM if nobody answers), if you need to ring all phones at the same time so someone can pick this up, use a hunt group with a broadcast logic.
If this is for a single user, check 'single number reach' (SNR) or mobility on CUCM.
Bottom line, there is no way to send a caller to VM if none of the phones is set to CF to VM.

Skype ID when calls are forwarded
Hi,
I have forwarded my skype-number to my mobile phone for when I'm offline. However, I was wondering if it is possible to see that an incoming call was forwarded through skype when I receive. Now I cannot make a distinction between an incoming call directly to my mobile phone number (from someone I do not know) or an incoming call that was forwarded from Skype.

CharafSame issue here, Skype version 7.2.0.103, calling landlines from New Zealand to New Zealand. Exact same issue as described, same issue on two PCs, one running Windows 8.1 the other Windows Vista. We've downgraded the Vista Skype version to 7.0.80.102 and it works perfectly fine again so this is clearly a bug in the latest version of Skype.

...The JOPtionPane you created needs a visible parent to display into. You simply create a JFrame() and pass that as the parent. This will not work.

Place Holder values are not displaying when calling the report

I have a Place holder column in my report and i am assigning the values in a formula column. When i run the report from report builder place holder column is showing the value. But when i deploy the same in application server and i try to invoke from a form it is not the value of that place holder column. Why is this happening? Please, help me in resolving the same.

M TYes Gayatri. You are right. When i run the report from report builder it is working perfectly. The same report i deployed in application server and invoking from a form report is not showing the values for place holder columns.

Source not displayed when call stack is selected in xcode for UIkit?
I am trying to debug iphone program running on simulator. If I hit a break point, selecting a different stack for the strip doesn't do anything. Does this mean it can't find the source for UIkit stuff, if not can I download it?

CUCME 8.6 Call not forwarding Voicemail
Hi frieds,
In our office we are using CUCME 8.6 on Cisco 2951 and unity express 8.5 in ISM module. As per our configuration whenever user is busy or not answering , the call will forward to voicemail. Totally we have 24 PSTN line. So we have an additional gateway 2901. The Issue I’m facing is that, when a PSTN incoming call coming through the second gateway(2901), if the extension is busy or not answering the call is disconnecting instead of forwarding to voicemail.

Issue in Call Forward to Voicemail
Hi,
I am facing an issue in my cisco telephony while making one phone forward to another phone. Below is the Scenario.
I have 2 phones, A & B , i have forwarded all calls of Phone A to Phone B. So when i call Phone A its gets forwarded and rings on Phone B. And on Phone B forward all Busy internal or external, Forward no answer internal or external to voicemail is checked.
Now the issue is when call on Phone A gets forwarded to Phone B and iff guy on phone B doesnt answer the call, it doesnt go to Phone B voicemail,
Iff the Caller number is Displayed on Phone B it goes to Phone B voicemail.
If DID of phone A is displayed on Phone B it goes to voicemail with a message welcome to Cisco Unity messaging system, without a greeting.
If Local Extension of Phone A is displayed on Phone B, call goes to Phone A voicemail.
I am not able to understand what is happening here.
Please give me some solution. Your help will be highly appreciated.

•Called number
•First redirecting number
•Last redirecting number
Just to add additional input to Chris suggestion, if you do the change of "Use Last (Rather than First) Redirecting Number for Routing Incoming Call" , make sure you understand the full impact in your dial plan deployment, to avoid other possible call routing issues.

CUPC 8.6 call forward to voicemail

I am using Cisco Personal Communicator (CUPC) 8.6 and also CUCM 8.6. I have CUPC in Deskphone mode, connected to a 6945 IP Phone. I also have Unity Connection where my voicemail box is hosted. When I want to setup call forward to voicemail button in cupc option, it is not working. CUPC will not handle the options I setup seconds before. If I manually put in a call forward to extension number of voice mail pilot call forwarding is working. also call forwarding to my mobile is working.
I checked End User settings, IP Phone is associated to my user, also CTI controll is enabled on device and line settings. user privileges are correct. I tried it on jabber client where it works fine. I also restarted CTI and Callmanager Services on the Servers.
Does anyone has an Idea if this is a general bug in CUPC or does anyone can tell me what the problem might be?

Hi...I have just obtained a secondhand iphone 5. I'm not technically minded and I don't understand 'geek speak' so please be gentle. I have done all I can think of to bottom this problem. I have switched on and off. Tried different o2 sims (including 2 brand new) that I know are fine, restored to factory settings, changed carrier from 'Auto' to O2 and spent ages on line with o2 chat but everything at their end is absolutely fine. Everything on the phone seems to be working apart from the phone aspect of things. All incoming calls go straight to voicemail and show on the phone as 'Cancelled calls' and when dialling out, I can key in the numbers and get the keypad tone (not dialling tone) but as soon as I press the green key to make the call, all that happens is the keypad pops back up onto the screen. The phone was bought on ebay as an o2 phone (the photo showed Giffgaff on the phone's screen but I understand this to be one and the same?) and as being 6 months old but I have put the serial number into the support website and...surprise surprise..,it must be at least twice that age as the warranty has expired. I have made 2 attempts to have a web chat with Apple Support, have reached the 'You're all set, we'll be with you in 2 mins' and have been left hanging there for over an hour on each occasion, so I've given that up as a bad job!! Any help will be much appreciated...and also, will Apple charge me £25 for each of the aborted chat attempts, please? Over to you...hopefully and many thanks in anticipation.

This is entirely a carrier issue. If your carrier (airtel) doesn't provide service outside of Mumbia, this has nothing to do with your iPhone.

Brand new 5s- sometimes phone numbers display when receiving calls and texts instead of contact name. Hard to know who is calling/texting! A few times I've tapped on the text message icon and I can actually watch as the conversations turn from showing just numbers to the contact names. Same thing when looking at call history and voice mail- sometimes it shows numbers and then I'll go back and the contacts will be back. So frustrating!

You don't dial *228 to update the Preferred Roaming List on 4G phones; I"m surprised the call went through. The PRL updates are handled by the SIM card.
Try this and see if it helps: turn off the phone, remove the SIM card, and wait a few minutes. Then re-insert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and give the phone a few minutes to re-establish a network connection. -

Put your phone in airplane mode, all calls will go straight to voicemail, yet you can still use the iPod function.

Exception 1 would seem to be FORMATTING_ERROR, which suggests something in the design of the Smartform. However, that doesn't fit with the form being generated from a report, but only erroring when called from a function module. I can think of no reason why the different calling method would be a factor.
When FORMATTING_ERROR is raise it should also set a message ID and number, are you able to determine what they are?

Abnormal disconnect when calls forwarded to vm on busy or noan

Inbound calls over IP trunk disconnect when forwarded to AIM-CUE upon noan or busy. No problems observed when call is answered. Nor are there issues with inbound calls to same number placed over POTS line. Has anybody experienced similar issues with Avaya / Cisco operability?Hi Thomas,

Codecs and Transcoding
Cisco Unity Express supports only G.711 voice streams, so all calls made into the system (including those from IP phones, PSTN gateway ports and any other VoIP equipment in your network) must use G.711 if they enter the AA or voice mail pilot numbers that terminate on Cisco Unity Express.
If you require that G.729A calls traverse IP segments of your network between sites, and that these calls forward or dial direct into Cisco Unity Express AA or voice mail, then you must use a transcoding resource collocated with Cisco Unity Express to change the voice stream from G.729A to G.711 before the voice stream enters the AA or voice mail pilot numbers.

All of a sudden I can't access my contacts, numbers pad, voicemail or favoites. My screen is frozen on recent calls. I can call from those listed but thats it. Is this related to the OS upgrade?
Close out of the phone app, double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check again.
