Everything works fine until it is uploading songs and this error message comes up - The iPod cannot be updated. An unknown error occurred (-36)

I just figured out my XP has no Service Pack 2 installed go to microsoft updates and choose CUSTOM and press download and install it will take AGES! Thanks from NZ

Unless you have the source files that were on the TC or Windows machine you will have to start over with a new library as follows:
Start over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
2. Open the library package like this.
Click to view full size
3. Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
4. Drag the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.

This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects. Your original library will remain intact for further attempts at fixes is so desired.

Unwanted ITUNES Purchase, Frustrating Errors, Dead Ends and Angry Wife.

This morning my wife flew off the handle as she had just given me a lecture yesterday about how broke we are and to not spend any money till our next payday as we can't afford any overdraft fees. So imagine my frustration when I wake up to her screaming at me because I made an alleged ITUNES purchase of $4 that we sadly did not and don't even have in the bank currently. So now we have negative $34 + dollars. I swear to her up and down I made no ITUNES purchase. I log into ITUNES and VIEW ACCOUNT. AND I scroll down to PURCHASE HISTORY. Which looks like a link or something, (Its blue text..I'd show you a pic, but thats not working either...more on that in a second.) but you can't click it. It says "Most Recent Purchase : March 28, 2013" There is no more info but that...I look on the ipad to see what my purchase history looks like there. There I am able to see pictures of the things that have been "PURCHASED" Nothing had been downloaded or "PURCHASED" save for a few FREE APPS in the last few days. XBOX GLASS, ANGRY BIRDS HD FREE (Because my son got this Angry Birds toy for easter that makes the Birds turn into pigs. We've already bought Angry Birds for the IPHONE, No intention of buying the HD version as well. My point is all downloads were free things. Nothing that would cost money and a bit of my soul. Still unable to see the raw info of PURCHASE HISTORY. The screen with the ORDER NUMBERS and what not. The IN APP PURCHASES ARE SHUT OFF. (As we've been burned by that in the past from our son.) So I can't give her any explanation as to what the heck just punched us finacially in the throat. So I do some google searches trying to get a more detailed discription of our history. Plenty of sources of info come up. Telling me what to do. Telling me what I already know. I try and follow the instructions with no luck. I find a link in the instructions that I can click that says.
"On a computer with iTunes installed, click purchase history to have iTunes open and display your purchase history. You will be prompted for your Apple ID and password."
I click on the "purchase history" hoping that some light is going to be shed on where this mystery $4 charge came from. I get an error saying "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (12001). I google that and get an answer that says this error happens when the clocks on your computer are not in sync with the actual internet time. This is a WINDOWS OS answer. I'm on a MAC. I check my clock anyways and everything is normal. Correct Date, Correct time. It's set to be set automaticallly by the computer as it always has been.
So finally I goto to contact APPLE SUPPORT because I have no other options. Already knowing in the back of my head that this going to be a DEAD END. That some how its going to be my fault even if its not. I click on APPLE SUPPORT and get ANOTHER ERROR saying "We're Sorry, but we were unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again in a few minutes or START OVER NOW. system 99" I click the the START OVER NOW button and get the same error. I wait for a few minutes and get the same error. I wait some more and still get the same error.
I took pictures of all these errors and dead ends and unability to see my purchase history with order numbers and zero in on this 4 dollar purchase and when I tried to upload them. (after resizing my screen grabs to the porportions set by apple.) I'm able to choose my image, but the button to actually post it in this message is greyed out. So I can't even have the simple pleasure of showing you the frustrating road block signs that are popping up for some lame reason too.
My wife was waiting for me to give her some answers, standing there with her coat on, because she was about to goto work. I'm trying desperately to find some answers and literally every flipping turn is blocked by some crazy error message.
I mean, I know how to check my purchase history. I've done it many times in the past. So its super frustrating and sad how a ghost purchase of $4 from the itunes store is going to put me in the dog house all day today. And I can't even SEE WHAT IT IS!?

File upload: Frustrating error!

FYI: Coldfusion MX7.0.2 i believe
ok, so i've got a number of websites for clients that have
upload pages and for some reason today, every time a user clicks
submit (on a multipart form with a cfinput type=file field) I get
the following error...nothing else.
500 The system cannot find the path specified
The system cannot find the path specified
I've tried the following fixes;
Solution: Rebooting the Server
Outcome: I can upload about 5-10 files, then the server
starts returning the error again, server wide, just not on one
site.
Solution: Setting permissions for the cfusionMX directory to
be as loose as possible
Outcome: No change
Solution: reInstalling the latest JRE
Outcome: No change
Solution: I used c:\test.txt as a test to see if it was local
Outcome: no change
Solution: I used a number of other dev machines to determine
if it was server side, on different networks
Outcome: no change
Also:
I checked getTempDirectory() in a number of places..it never
goes null.
The uploads worked before today. I've had them working for
months. nobody has changed them.
I've been trying to work out the solution for hours, please
help :'(

Frustrating Error ID 10000 on App World

I have started to get app world purchase rejections (ID 10000) on my PlayBook. All methods I can use to pay are in good standing. The problem is either with app world or Digital River.
Either way, it is RIM's issue, because I'll be changing platforms to Android or Apple if RIM won't take my money.
I've seen several references to this issue on various forums, with no real track record of successful resolution.
If there is anyone out there who has run into this and beat it, please advise!

Thanks, but we're way past online documentation, sadly. I have accounted for the small set of possibilities listed in that piece.
I've looked up this issue, and on the infrequent occasions this problem pops up on a forum such as this, direction to RTFM has typically not resulted in success.
If anyone has direct experience solving this issue, I'd appreciate hearing from them.

Frustrating errors with InputStream

I'm trying to create a simple midlet to parse data from a web page and display it to the user. I've made several of these before but this one is giving me fits. In the HTML source code of the webpage in question, there are blank lines between some of the lines of code. For some reason my inputStream cannot get past these. I usually test for a value of -1 from the inputStream to know when the end of file is reached but the blank lines return -1 as well. So i figured i'd try to not test for -1 and find some other way to stop the read() process but i just get a string of infinite -1's or their char equivalent "?". This is driving me nuts and i'd love some help from ANYONE PLEASE!

I realize that my geocities account does not have the pictures and/or Macromedia movie taht the official page does, but i wouldn't think that would interfere with the stream...
To reclarify, after it gets past a certain point in the stream, i can only return a value of -1 from the stream...I have tried pausing the thread before reading, setting the loop that reads from the stream on a timer to allow the stream to connect (if that even matters, prob. not) and i cannot read more than the indicated section of code....someone please help!!!

Error in File UNKNOWN.RPT (Crystal for VS 2008)

I have read and implemented nearly every suggested solution to solve this riddle of a Crystal Error I am stumped with. Of course, on my dev box the report runs perfectly, as it should. However, if I deploy my simple report web project to my client's Windows 2003 Standard Server, running IIS 6, I get this error. I have literally implemented, or attempted to implement every single suggestion Google users have to offer, including adding security for nearly every user that has ever existed, to nearly every folder that has ever existed. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/upgraded from Crystal for VS 2008, up to Crystal 12, down to Crystal 10.....and the same exact error appears.

Here is what my report app consists of:
1. A single Crystal Report for VS 2008, in a reports folder (which I have granted full control permissions to everybody and my mother, along with permissions to Windows/Temp)
2. That report, when called from the code behind, loads the report and immediately exports the report to a stream, so I can render that stream to a pdf viewer for the user. (yes, very simple)
3. (I do pass load a dataset that is passed into the report too)

I would pin this on the Helm (e.g.; works without, does not work with...). Couple of things you can try:
1) Call who ever you got your particular Helm from and see if they have any ideas
2) Use Process Monitor to see if it tells you what files / folders / reg entries are not being accessed. ProcMon is here:

CS4 programme error trying to save picture files!

Hi,
I have a frustrating error when trying to save some of my older picture files with CS4 Extended. The ones that I am looking at are 5 years old and taken with my Canon 5D. When I open a file and then try to save it the save option is grey and only save as is available. When I try to save as I get the error Could not complete your request because of a programme error.
I have been trouble shooting the problem images and see that I cannot get File Info on these images with the following error, Could not complete the File Info command because of a problem with the File Info module. When I look at some earlier D10 pictures they operate perfectly as do my more recent 5DMkII images. I have tried removing the Exif data from the problem files and all the problems go away so I must be something to do with this embedded data. The problem images don't have corrupt data... it is all there and looks correct.
I keep track of my photos with IDimager V4.
Does anyone have a explaination or a cure for this problem as the last thing I want to do is loose my File Info for all those old picture that I still need to work on and use.

Open the photo in another software program such as GIMP or Paint Shop Pro X2 and save as in that software. After that open it in CS4.
Cs4 sometimes is flaky with damaged files and won't open them. Others will and re-saving it in different software will fix the problem.

U44m1p7 - Can't get rid of this error!

I have searched and followed every single suggestion I could find. I have totally uninstalled every single CC app on my computer (even used Revo Uninstaller to make sure everything was removed), run CCleaner, etc., etc., and no matter what I do, when I get Creative Cloud installed and install all my apps, they immediately announce there are updates available and ALL of them fail with this error.
Other than completely wiping out my entire system and starting over with a fresh intall of Windows, is there any way to get around this frustrating error?
It's really surprising that after uninstalling with Revo and cleaning my registry that this is continuing to happen.
Anyone have any ideas?

For the appearance shown you can:
1) Type>Create Outlines (and Ungroup if desried);
2) Colour each letter separately;
3) Cut letters with different colours (Y & R) and colour the snipoffs differently.
In 3) you may create a (straight) path and Object>Path>Divide Objects Below.
It is possible to obtain the same appearance with Live Type, but somewhat more clumsily and sillily.
I find the yellow letters a bit weak/hard to read, so I believe I should use a different colouring. You could use a gradient (soft or with hard stops, maybe blue>yellow or blue>yellow>blue) applied to each letter (which can easily be done with Live Type, just select the Type and Effect>Path>Outline Object and keep it selected while working with the gradient), or the dots could have alternating colours so the lettershapes were clearer.

What it is not seeming to like is the spaces between the words 'Base' Table' and 'Maintenance' in my project destination path. If I take these spaces out, I can create the project without a problem
The frustrating thing is, in the past, I have created projects in this same directory as well as other directories with spaces, but now I can't seem to anymore! I can't change the directory names very easily, our project structure is already set up, everyone else on the project is working with it and not seeming to have a problem. Is there an option somewhere that says 'don't get freaked out by the spaces, just create anyway'? Or is it something else that is wrong? Taking out the spaces seems to fix it, though I'd prefer another solution so I don't have to restructure and rename all of the directories we have already created.

The movie could not be exported because an error occurred. (-2009)

I am using imovie 11 and have spent days creating and editing home movies but when trying to eport I keep getting this very frustrating error. I have read many blogs but still no one has a proper soloution....please help as this is very frustrating...

Okay, I'm going to ask some questions to find out a bit more information. I was scouring the Discussion Boards for -2009 errors and found quite a few.
Question #1: Do you have a LOT (18-20 hours) of clips sitting in one single Event folder in your Event Library right now?
Question #2: Did you import any video clips that you converted from a program like HandBrake to get stuff into MP4 format?
Question #3: Have you lost the audio playback on any of your video clips in the Events folder or in the Projects folder at this time? Has your mac frozen up and crashed or hung while you were working in iMovie forcing you to restart?
The solution for Question 1 is to trying splitting your giant single Event folder into smaller folders. Create New Event and start dragging everything in. Split it up as best you can (I think 2-3 hours in one Event folder is a good start). Quit iMovie. Open it back up and let it optimize. Go back to your Project and try to export.
The solution for Question 2 is, go back to HandBrake and check the settings/preferences and make sure you look for a checkbox or other setting that makes reference to Chapter Markers. You do NOT want chapter markers anywhere in the clips you import into an Event Folder in iMovie
Finally Question #3 requires a good bit more trouble-shooting and hunting around. It really means that the Events and Projects Libraries are in a corrupted state. You might be able to fix this by dragging things into new folder, duplicating Projects into new Projects, etc. This may fix things but it will be time consuming and tedious.

How do you fix error -1000000

ok, when i try downloading some of my songs, they will stop at the end and error -1000000 will pop up. what should i do to fix it? it happens ALL the time and it is VERY frustrating.

Error 1004 and 1013: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to default on Windows. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

Error 4000 and other anomalies

Like many others I also have the dreaded 4000 error and can't burn discs. I also have another problem that is giving me great pain. On play back of any recorded or commercial CDs there is skipping or stuttering. This issue only presents itself in iTunes. I have used Windows Media Player, Blaze Audio Pro, Creative Media Source as players and they do not skip or stutter. I have updated all software/firmware and have gone as far as doing a non-destructive system restore with no success. The only time that these drives did not exhibit this issue was when I was using iTunes 4. someting or other. This issue presents itself on both drives.
I have (but iTunes CD diagnostics doesn't show it) a Sound Blaster X-fi Extreme Music sound card installed as well. I have taken the steps of disabling it and it's associated drivers/sofware and reinstalled the on board audio to see if it is the card or not.
I have spent the last week with HP support only to narrow the issue.

Iphone ios7 update error "account not in this store"

hi all, with ios7 update iphone keeps giving error " account not in this store" and some apps can not update because of this.
any ideas how to solve it? all details: country, payment details are correct. Itunes account is same with same country but even after syncing the error remains.
any ideas how to solve this frustrating error?

Update: This problem only occurs when trying to UPDATE apps, not buy or download brand new ones. Further, it only fails to update apps that I purchased previously.
I tried downloading some new apps from within the phone, and this worked fine, and later they updated fine, also within the phone. But the older apps still give the same error when I try to update them.

Error when turning on Match on Phone, even with the same ID

Like many of you, I keep getting the "You are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match" error when attempting to activate the service on my iPhone and iPad. Initially the ID's were different; it was the confusion for those of us who had both .mac adresses that were converted to .me addresses, etc. I set up EVERYTHING across all systems to work with a single user ID, "[email protected]". In the stores on all 3 devices, that's the ID. In the settings, that's the ID. The same, unique password works across all systems. Match was set up and activated perfectly on my Mac. But still the iDevices give me this frustrating error. Help?

2 reasons,
1. Might be you have configured with wrong Monitor, choose the correct one and enter proper parameter details for key figure
or the issue with the key figure itself. you can refer the notes 1807734 - ST-A/PI 01Q: Advance Corr. BP Analytics - TBIs for ERP, like this lots of note available, refer bpmon advance correction, make sure you applied.
