Dear All,
Can any body explain the use of T Code: FPGO maintain alternative posting date in FSCD.
If I have closed reconciliation keys for last quarter but the recociliation keys are not realised (Transfer to Gl A/c).I don't want to show its impact in my closed quarter. I want to change the posting date for reconciliation key. IS it possible by using this T Code.? Is there any other alternative?
Ravindra Sane

  • Sub-Contracting Challan Posting Date

    Dear Experts,
We have a business requirement to prevent users from changing the 57F4 Challan Posting date while creation of Challan in J1IF01Transaction. Is it possible through configuration or should we go in for an user exit?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
You can create a transaction variant for J1IF01 in SHD0 transaction and maintain the posting date as "output only". Now the field will be greyed out. Refer the doc:http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/a070bfbb-d34a-2d10-b092-ecbe0b0d4a4c?QuickLink=index&…

  • Invoice verification Invoice date,Posting date and Baseline Date

    Hi Sap Gurus
Pls Tell Me in detail what Dates should be entered at MIRO transaction,
Invoice date,Posting date and Baseline Date
i presumed that the date on the Invoice slip will be Invoice date,
But in the Invoice the Date is very long back, say a month Older,
the month of Posting as Posting date, but any posting Date made in MIRO will be Paid after 2 or 3 months so in this case what should be the Posting date.
at Base line date in the present company Senario the Discount on Vendor payment is literally valid for all the time , say
In Invoice if the condition is 10% discount if paid in 30 days is given.
but in actual sense the Vendor is paid 10% less even if he is paid after 4 or 6 months also, so in this case what should be the Entry in Baseline date
another senario is the vendor has sent only one Invoice for 2 POs how can this be accomadated in SAP
    Pls suggest its Urgent,
Age may have a Bar, But Points No Bar
    Thanks and Regards
    Sathish

    Hi
LIV is nothing but You are getting Invoice from the Vendor for your PO   and GR.....and you are checking the Invoice for Price, Qty,Amount etc. by refering the PO  and posting the Invoice...
    Invoice Date :
The date of Vendor' Invoice...ie) Date at which the vendor Raised the invoice for his supply against your PO...
    Posting Date :
The Date at which you actually Verifying Vendor's Invoice and doing the Posting...
    base line date :
        Generally the Posting Date...
The Imp. of Baseline date is for eg)
If in the Payment Terms if some conditions are maintained like say
10% Discount for Payment With in 30 days, if
    PO created on 01.11.2007.
    GR done at 10.11.2007.
Invoice slip Received at 30.11.2007 but having the Date on it as 20.11.2007...
So as per your terms you will get 10% Discount if you make the payment on or  20.12.07....
Here if you keep  inv. Date: 20.11.2007  and Posting Date : 30.11.2007  and Baseline Date as  30.11.2007 ( you cannot maintain baseline date earlier than  Posting date)....even though as per terms the you are  eligible for discount if you make the payment on or before 20.11.2007.....as per the system you are still eligible to get the Discount if you make payment on or 30.12.2007( since you have maintained baseline date as 30.11.2007)...
this way Baseline date is Importane...
Generally we use to maintain always Posting Date as Baseline date....
    It is advantageous..
    Reward if useful

  • Posting Date Error when using TPM10

    Hi, All
I am using TPM10 to reserve the cash flows that were previously posted using TBB1.
The problem occurs when I enter a different posting date (which I want to use as the reversal date) from the original posting date in TBB1.
There is little information in the error message except for E:E:745 ...
Has anybody had the same problem? Please share the solution.
    Thanks

When you reverse the documents in TPM10, you have to specify the TRM Reversal Reason.  This reversal reason is tied to an FI reversal reason via configuration.  Within the configuration for FI reversal reasons, you can specify what posting dates are valid for the reversals.  Look up the TRM reversal reason config to determine the FI reversal reason.  Then look at the config for the FI reversal reason.  I suspect that the FI reversal reason does not allow alternative postings dates (i.e. the reversal has to be posted to the same day as the original posting.)
The resolution to this issue is to use a TRM reversal reason that is tied to an FI reversal reason that allows alternative posting dates.

  • Cannot reverse document with future posting date

    Hi,
When I tried to reverse a document with future posting date, system gives error F5362 Posting date must not be smaller than XX.XX.XXXX (x = future posting date).
Is it possible to do this in SAP?

    Hello,
You need to use reversal reason configured accordingly.
Configure the reversal reason for your purpose:
IMG => Financial Accounting => Business Transactions => Adjustment Posting / Reversal / Define Reasons for Reversal
Make SURE that you have ticked Alt.Pos.dt (Alternative Posting Date) check box.
    Save it.
Now use this reversal reason for your posting and give a fugure date.
Make sure that the future posting period is opened but NOT closed.
Please also read F1 on alternative posting date check box:
    Indicator: Alternative posting date allowed
Indicator as to whether you are allowed to specify an alternative posting date for the relevant reversal reason.
    Use
When you use the reversal reason, the system checks that reversal is not carried out using an alternative posting date and therefore possibly in a later posting period or in a later fiscal year.
    Examples
If you want to use negative postings during reversal but only if the reversal is posted in the same period, you can define two reversal reasons:
1st reason: No alternative date allowed, generate negative posting
2nd reason: Alternative date allowed, do not generate negative posting

  • Maintain posting date in /dbm/cashdesk

    Hi expert,
I would like is there any possible to enter posting date in tcode /dbm/cashdesk?
Any BADI or configure need to be done?
As now my cash document is cancel in posting date 10.05.2020 instead of 10.05.2011, i want to modify posting date in /dbm/cashdesk.
    Please advice.
    Thanks.
    regards,
    ng chong chuan

    Dear Michael,
It was a User confusion with Creation Date of Invoice, Billing Date of Invoice and Posting date of Accounting Document.
User had created Invoice on some 01.03.2009 but Kept Billing Date as 26.02.2009. So, while released Accounting Doc. on 10.03.2009 (Releasing date and not Posting Date), It gets Posted on 26.02.2009, only, and not on 10.03.2009.
    The whole confusion was:
When User refers Document Flow (for Invoice in VF02), System shows Invoice Date as 01.03.2009, against Accounting Posting Date 26.02.2009.
    Whereas,
When I showed FBL5N to user, BL Document and AB Document both get posted on 26.02.2009 only.
    Its Clear now.
    Best Regards,
    Amit

  • Restrict goods issue if stock on posting date is zero

    Requirement:
Current Inventory period : July 2011
    Stock of a material from 01.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 is zero(in MB5B report)
I upload stock of material  or GRN occur on 31.07.2011. Say Quantity u2013 100
Now stock as on 31.07.2011 is 100 in MB5B
    Still, Stock of a material from 01.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 is zero(in MB5B)
Now, If I do goods issue of a material quantity 100 on 15.07.2011. System allows goods issue. though opening and closing stock as on 15.07.2011 is zero.
After goods issue transaction if I check stock of material on any date between 16.07.2011 to 30.07.2011 , The opening stock and closing stock shows negative.
I want to restrict goods issue if stock on posting date is zero or less then stock available on posting date.
    Please suggest

    Hi,
This is not the way SAP is designed. As the previous speakers wrote (and as you noticed yourself), SAP maintains stock figures in the database per month rather than per day. MB5B makes complex calculations in order to find out how much stock you had on a specific date - as you probably noticed on the response time. Performing such calculations every time you do a GI would be unfeasibly heavy task for the system - remember there are organisations that perform hundreds of inventory movements a minute!
An alternative solution I suppose would be to maintain the daily stock figures in the database. This would make the finding of the stock figure very quick, but on the other hand, the maintenance of such table would be unfeasible - if you post today a GI on say July 1st, you would need to calculate 36 stock figures and update 36 database records!
Hope this explains the technical issue.

  • How to maintain alternative material in a BOM for a component.

how to maintain alternative material in a BOM for a component.if stock for existing bom component is less then it should consider other alternative material in the same BOM

    HI,
    You can maintain alternate material for BOM Component by specifying Alternate Item group as below;
Go to CS03/CS02--> Items-> Select Component and go to details->Basic Data Tab--> General Data
Pls. find more details about Alternate Item group maintainance as below:
    Alternative item: group
Consolidation of alternative items within a BOM. Every material in the assembly can be included in the alternative item group.
    Use
As soon as you enter an alternative item group, you see an additional dialog box with the following data: ranking order, strategy, usage probability.
You can maintain alternative items in the following situations:
Alternative positions with specific usage probability
These alternative items are incorporated with a specific usage probability. Enter the usage probability for each alternative item in the group, so that:
dependent requirements are determined in requirements planning
dependent requirements are changed to a reservation in the production order
    Alternative positions as information
You can enter an alternative item for information purposes. This item would then, for example, only be taken into account in situations involving missing parts.
As there should be neither dependent requirements nor a reservation for this item, enter no usage probability.
    Procedure
Enter the same character string to denote the alternative items of an alternative item group.
Enter the same strategy for all alternative items in the alternative item group.
    Dependencies
Alternative items are valuated in the following way:
    Dependent requirements determination
Requirements planning determines the dependent requirements according to the usage probabilities that have been entered.
If the usage probability is 0%, then no procurement is planned for the item. For information purposes, however, dependent requirements with 0 as quantity are created.
    Withdrawal posting
You can control the withdrawal posting for the resevation in the production order in the following way:
Withdrawal according to usage probability (manual change is possible)
Withdrawal if there is 100% availability
    (Check ranking order and strategy)
Example: See Strategy for alternative position
Further you can also maintain alternate material if you want to stop using this material at certain time as below:
In material master of the material ,
Go to MRP-4 View----> Under Discongtinued parts specify
    Discontinuation Indicator
    Eff-out.
    Follow-up matl
So system will automatically consider follow up material in BOM as per the settings you have maintained for the material to be replaced.
    Hope this helps.

  • Currency translation - based on posting date

    Hi everyone..
im again posting this topic bcos im in need of a solution for my problem as early as possible.please excuse me.
    Problem related to currency conversion:
Im taking a report from sales order and billing cube, and the report is coming fine, but when i apply the currency conversion type,it is not giving the correct conversion.
In report,im using exchange rate on document posting date.
So if i compare the value in R/3 with the reporting value, the difference comes.
For the currency conversion type i used, i checked in rrc2,it is like this.
Exch rate type:M-standard translation at avg rate
    Source curr:from data record
    Tgr curr:selection with translation
Time ref:Varoiable time reference:A-To the exact day
    Special Infoobj:Posting date object
So what could be the problem for the wrong translation.the difference is about 1.2 rs per dollar.
i will be verymuch thankful to u,if u could give some solution for this problem...
    thansk & regards
    sudha

    Hi
Please check if you are transferring exchange rates maintained in R/3 to BW on daily basis or as & when change happens on R/3 side.
If not then you can do that in RSA1->source systems-> here select your R/3 system ->right mouse click-> Transfer global settings-> in next screen put check box ON for currencies and then using update tables option button. For daily scheduling, go to top menu ->Program-> Excute in background-> here you can schedule this as daily job.
    Hope this helps

  • Third Party GRN Posting Date to be Copied to Sales Order Line item Billing Date

    Hello Experts
I have a client requirement where in they want to bill line items in the sales order ( third party process ) to the end customer in sync with the GRN posting dates happened in the PO
For EG if GRN happened on 1st July 2014 then Billing Date should come in as 31st July 2014 so when they execute VF04 giving from and to dates as 1st july to 31st corresponding sales order can be invoiced
Actual problem is for suppose if i create a sales order in the month of june say 26th basing on the factory calendar setting and invoicing list maintained in the customer master system defaults the billing date to 30th June 2014 , and the same when user runs VF04 from 1st June to 30th June this sales order shows as due and mistakenly end user invoices the customer ( whereas logical GR would have only received in July 1st )
My requirement is similar to below threads but i am unable to find answer how to copy GR Posting date to Billing Date of the sales order line item
use GR Doc date as billing date
3rd party sales process (w/o ship notif) - Billing

    Hi Lakshmipathi ji,
As my requirement is to update the billing date at the sales order line item level , As a process user goes in executes VF04
    For Ex
Sales Order Created Date is 1st June 2014 then System Defaults Billing Date at line item to 30th June 2014
Now when i do GRN suppose on 1st July 2014 for that line item , system should trigger a code where in check the posting date of the GRN and override the same in the Biiling Date field of the sales order line item
So when VF04 is run for a month All the GRN which are recieved in the month of July are invoiced in July
Please share me your thoughts do we need to check any userexits from MM side which reads the posting date of GRN and then copies in to my third party sales order

  • Default key date, Document date and posting date needs to be changed automa

    Hi Experts,
The user wants to create a variant for Foreign currency valuation, wherein the default key date, Doc date and Posting date needs to be changed every month automatically. Is it possible?
Please let me know your thoughts.
    Warm regards,
    Murukan Arunachalam

    Hi
    Please follow this process.
Only specify fields that should be changed
Select these fields by entering an X in the checkboxes
Enter a U in the UPDATEFLAG field
Always specify key fields when changing the data, including in the checkboxes
The configuration is an exception here. If this needs to be changed, you need to complete it again fully.
Maintain quantities and dates in the schedule line data.
    1. Minimum entry:
You must enter the order number in the SALESDOCUMENT structure.
You must always enter key fields for changes.
You must always specify the update indicator in the ORDER_HEADER_INX.
    2. Commit control:
The BAPI does not run a database Commit, which means that the application must trigger the Commit so that the changes are read to the database. To do this, use the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT BAPI.

  • Unable to view stock on a posting date

I'm implementing inventory scenario in BI.
Initialized the stock in R/3 and uploaded into cube 0IC_C03 through 2LIS_03_BX.
Also initialized 2LIS_03_BF and uploaded into the same cube.
When i run a query, I see opening stock.
But if i change posting date to view stock for that date, I dont see any change in quantities.
Seems like the material movements are not being captured into BI.
    Please help...
    Thanks in advance

    Elangovan,
yes, with 2LIS_03_BF, 888 records were added.
I compressed both requests, 2LIS_03_BX WITH marker update and 2LIS_03_BF with NO marker update.
You asked about maintaining markers, not sure if there was anything else to be done?
Also, please help me with the transaction keys...not sure what that is. I'm new to inventory management in BI.

  • How to change value date from posting date to net due date

    Hi Gurus,
My client wants to change value date from posting date to net due date. currently posting date is considered as value date but in future client wants to change value date to net due date of documents.
    1. what configurations need to be maintained to change value date from posting date to net due date.
    2. Will these changes effect automatic payment run.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Suresh

    Hi Suresh,
    In Future
While posting the documents you can mention the value date as due date of the documents.
    For already posted documents
You can change the value date to net due date.
If the value date is display mode i.e. if you are not able to change the value date in FB02 (Document Change Mode), use OB32 transaction and make value date field as eidtable (BSEG-VALUT).
In OB32 transaction enter all the required fields like Account type, transaction type, company code and finally activate the Field can be changed check box.
But not sure, whether we can change the value date to previous date or not?
    This would help you..
