Germany Tax Audit GDPdU

Dear Experts,
Wea re going to ahve the tax audit in the last week of february. I am supposed tow ork on the extraction of the relevant data from SAP.
My question is what are the tables should I use to extract the data from? What are tables involved?
We are going to use Smart exporter for this purpose but I really dont know which tables shoud i use for this purpose? PLease help me.
Thank you.

Dear Privya,
a concrete message is not possible because the auditor normally requests (based on business terms)
what kind of data he needs. By lay he is able to request everything which is tax relevant.
Go back to the internal responsible for this audit and ask what kind of data you should prepare:
FI Documents, Vendor Master Data and so on. I would suggest to use business terms  where you can derive the table names.
You can also prepare for him a list from DART (which is the standard sap tool) for this purpose.
Run FTWCS use a German Company Code!
Important to get the german field catalog but  the customizing for it has to be correctly setup. By standard it should work.
DART Version needs to be in minimum 2.4.  - you will see it in the header information and normally also the field  catalog.
The field catalog contains a basis of tables delivered by SAP and worked out together with the German SAP User Group for this kind of  tax audit purpose.
You get a list of segments for the modules incl. the source table names which can be exported to Excel.
Your requester can select from this basis and you can use the table names
(with FTWCF you will get per each segment the field names).
Important is that the extraction of the tables keeps consistent!
Try to check that the extracted data is equal to your finanical accounting
else Account balances DEBIT = CREDIT and so on.
In DART there is some functionality if with the smart exporter I don´t know.
If you need more information please contact me personally.
Good luck.

  • China Financial statement - Golden Tax audit

    Hi
Regarding an implementation for a client in China, the client needs to generate their financial statements in the statutory formats as given by China authorities. They are presently generating these statements using a third party software called FORMWARE. This software is fed with data from SAP to generate these statements.
My doubt is whether standard SAP supports generation of financial statements in statutory format. The required statements are balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, GL balance list and some other statements.
If anyone has come across this scenario, please let me know whether SAP supports China financial statement generation and how to generate them.
The financial details which is generated from ECC 6 is in the format prior to April 2007 . We are given to understand that in china the statutory format were changed in April 2007 . To give an example the balance sheet coming out of ECC 6 SAP is in vertical format where as the current format recommened by  China Govt is in horizontal format - T shape . We are using the golden Tax audit system in SAP to generate the above report .
Please share your experience in this regard as we are not sure if STD SAP support china local statutory fianancial format
    Regards
    Ram

    Hi,
SAP Golden Audit  provides data interface to China government. However, you have to do the second development for the report, BS/PL and so on. If you want to implement them in SAP, you need to config the alternative account in account master data maintain.
The 3rd software transfers SAP transaction data to their own database and do account mapping at same time. As a result, just report format is China standard. Real accounting rule still is global's.
So, the best solution is no need to transfer SAP transaction data. Just extract balance by BAPI to excel. Use formula to calculate BS/PL report. If it's necessary, extract documents to excel by China reporting format for printing purpose.
We have this solution, no need ABAP and just upload three requests. All China standard report can be generated.

  • France/Germany Tax set up

    Hi
What list of activity to do for france and germany  tax set up(for FI,SD,MM).
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Sree,
The new taxes are work taxes and only need to be added to infotype 208
for employees that work in these counties.
This will work for you. IT0208 should have only NY, NY07 for an example.
Table T5UTZ and T5UTD are Delivery Class C tables, which means that SAP
only delivers the data in client 000 and it is up to the customer to
the data to the non-zero client if they desire.
You need to cassade the data from client 000 to the non-zero client.
To cascade these type of tables in your system, you can use transaction
SM30 to compare and adjust the entries as needed. Please reference the
the end of SAP Note No. 363453 - "DOC: TUB Transport, Consulting Note"
for how it is done with TUBS.

    Manny

  • Tax Audit file (Taxware) is updated real-time from SAP

This is an issue when there are server issues, disaster recover, or any connection issues. I do not see a way in RFYTXDISPLAY to control the update.  Does anyone know how to make it so that the updates to external tax audit file is done in batch instead of real-time?

What release of SAP are you on?  In some older releases, SAP provided update programs to do what you ask.  If SAP is down, there are no transactions and no taxes to update.  If Taxware is down, the updates are queued in SMQ1.  You can, once Taxware is up, release all the updates.

  • Tax reporting Germany

    Hi all,
I have a German customer that shold start running SAP. I wonder what kind of VAT reporting do they do in Germany. They say that they have one monthly and one yearly VAT report. Could anyone please explain what reports in SAP that they need in Germany? In Sweden we use S_ALR_87012357 for monthly VAT-run, is it the same in Germany?
They also say that they are having a tax audit file, GDPDU. They will have ERP 6.0 and do we need any special configuration for that?
    Thanks in advance!
    BR L

    Hello Lisa,
GDPdU is an abreviation in Germany for "Data Access right on Electronically Tax Audits".
Auditors have the right to get acccess on the data in three different ways:
A1 Direct Access of the auditor on the system
A2 Indirect Access over an internal employee for e.g. an accountant prints a list
A3 Providing a data file in a specific format to the auditor
The issue here is that the laws do not describe exactly tax relevant data.
This is in the hand of audited company who has to define it on their own.
For A1 there are roles defined for standard transactions which allow to restrict
the auditor on displaying the audited year and organisational units.
Besides the company is able to log the auditors entries.
For A2 you need not a solution as this is given with the authorisation of the employee
For A3 there are several possibilities depending on the tax order.
The auditor is allowed to switch between all possiblities!
The general tool which you need to use is DART (contains a data catalog for Germany)
which is not easy to handle as it  is a several step approach as this tool is also used
in other countries like Portugal or US and the idea is also to use this tool for decommision purposes.
For HR there is an interface tool "HR Toolbox" to create files for tax audits in the HR area.
Besides you should not have archived data in SD, MM, FI, CO, PS and others for the years where
you want to create DART files else you can´t provide any data for audits with DART. The same is valid also for HR.
Well the implementation depends really on your company,  the branch, system landscape and other circumstances.
I would suggest that you request directly to SAP or other companies a one day workshop to get a more detailed picture on this.
Implementing it without knowledge on green field will not suceed.
Latest when the auditor requests the data, you would have a rude awakening.
I did several national and international implementations on this topic,  this is really very special.
It sounds that I  want to sell myself but this not the case as I am fully blocked with work.
Above statements are really based on my personal  experiences when I had your siituation as inhouse consultant.
I implemented as inhouse employee this for a huge global company with a big global system landscape.
On the end we engaged a consultant directly by SAP which helped to deal this within a global company.
Everything else may not work properly or to 50%.
    kind regards
    Bernd

    Hi ALL,
I am working for Germany comanpy, where acquisiton tax is needed to post both payable and receivable GL accounts:
For this I have used Standard Tax procedure of Germany:
Procedure            TAXD   Sales Tax - Germany

    110     0     MWAS     Output Tax                     -             MWS

210     0     NLXV     Acquisition Tax Deb.           -       ESE
The above are condition types and account keye used.
I have created Tax code: E3
    Country Key           DE       Germany
Tax Code              E2       7% acquisition tax on EC delivery of goods
    Procedure             TAXD
    Tax type              A        Output tax

Acquisition Tax Deb. ESE      100.000-           210   200       NLXV
When I am posting customer invoice that releasing Billing to accounting (VFX3) system is giving error like:
    "0316000017 000000 Error in account determination: table T030K key B100 MWS E2"
But system should not check MWS account key, it should check ESA and ESE in OB40.
Can any help to solve this problem.
    regs,
    Ramesh Balivada

    hi,
Acquisition is only on the input side, so if you want to use the ESA, ESE on the purchase side, you would have to change this tax type to "V" input tax instead of "A" output Tax.

  • BPC v7 for Legal and Tax Consolidation

We need to save data by year using the legal organization structure and currency rates in place in that year.   It needs to be saved for at least 11 years for annual report purposes and tax audit purposes.  There are over 2000 entities including parents in any one years org structure.  Has anyone dealt with large entity hierarchies saved for multiple years?  What is the best way to handle a situation like this.  I know that in Hypereion Enterprise you can consolidate different years data with different organization structures but I am not sure that BPC can handle this.

SAP BPC's Legal consolidation provides for this very issues. If you can have a look at the IFRS Starter kit for BPC 7.0, it has already the org structure that can change from period to period. The actual hierarchy itself does not change over time, but the way its consolidated is driver by an application called Ownership in which group structures can be defined.
This will allow you to define structures that are impossible to represent in a traditional hierarchy, eg Joint venture owned by a company's two subsidiaries.
In the IFRS Kit, there is documentation describing how consolidation works in this way.
This same functionality is available in both MS and NW version.

  • Taxware configuration to prevent writing to external audit file

We have a 3 instance system with each instance supporting a different company.
I need to know how I can prevent SAP from writing to the external tax audit file. I will use the data from within SAP to report taxes.
I could not find anything on the Taxware side, which informed me that some thing needs to be done on the SAP side and a search of SAP docs and sites has returned nothing regarding this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your response, and I did try your suggestion. However, I needed to make some modifications since I wanted Labview Write vi to start writing RIGHT AWAY, for 5 secs, and then stop, which is exactly opposite so I used an "inverter" to invert the boolean logic coming out of the "time elapsed" vi to turn on the Labview Write vi.
One thing about this "time elapsed" vi that puzzles me is that it needs to be put into a While loop for it to work, if don't do that, then the elapsed time stays at "0" for some reason meaning it's not counting time at all!! So I had to enclose it within a While-Loop. I have a couple of questions.
      1. Why does the "time elapsed" vi need to be working in a while loop? I've tried running the LabView program in a "Run Continuously" mode as opposed to "Run" mode, the elapsed time simply stays at zero.. don't know why..
      2. What's the difference running a Labview code at "Run Continuously" mode or just enclose everything inside a while loop and "Run" ?
I've attached my modified script that'll correctly write to file for 5 sec and turn off. It seems so verbose for such a simple task.

  • DaRT relevant countries

    Hi,
My Company is starting a data archiving in the system, before Data Archiving we wanted to implement the DaRT.
As our ERP system is available in 100+ countries it is not fesaible to run the DaRT extract for all companies.
If anybody has the list of countries for which DaRT is mandatory please pass on to me.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Ankit Gupta

    Dear Ankgupta,
surely there are countries listed in official documents for DART usage based on projects or official SAP documentation.
DART Solutions available for: Germany, USA, Portugal, Poland
Countries covered by Standard DART: Austria, Switzerland, Netherland, Czechia and others.
Counties which has to be extended in DART: Hungary, Spain, France.
On top other countries like Italy or Russia are legally allowed to request everything but you might not get a clear statement
by the country. Besides I  know from my previous projects that Brasil, Canada and Mexico also requested the usage of DART with extensions.
Therefore  I would suggest that you first organize meetings with your HQ tax responsible to implement a sign off procedure which allows you to get a clear overview about each single country. This sign-off procedure should easily ask the countries if they need DART and if the current field catalogue is sufficient This is only way how to make it correctly on long-term as only the country responsible can decide if they need DART for Tax Audits. They know their law at its best. Currently more and more countries decide to switch to electronically tax audits; you would never be updated  without them.
Based on this sign-offs you can prepare your Data Archiving preparation country by country.
As you have very strong dependencies between the residency and retention times of the countries, DART extracts and also between several archiving objects. You should have a look in the service market place service.sap.com/ilm. There you will find an excel spreadsheet which clearly shows you the full dependencies between DART and each archiving object.
If you think for this activity you need consultancy I would suggest to ask SAP directly for support.
They know the right persons which can support you and help you to get in contact to other SAP customers
which have a similar problem like you.
I hope my small explanation could help a little bit.
    kind regards

  • Desktop Manager calendar synchonization problem - deleting previous appointments

I'm having trouble with calendar synchronizing.  I have my calendar set to retain appointments forever (after I realized that all of my previous appointments were deleted over time as it was previously set for 60 days).  However, the desktop software keeps on trying to delete old appointments.  Any suggestions?

It tries to delete it from Outlook. Not sure when the problem started, I've been using desktop manager for a few years and only noticed the missing calendar details in Outlook when I was looking for info for a recent tax audit.  I was pretty disappointed to realize that the data was gone (any way of retrieving it?).  After looking around on the support forums, I discovered the BB settings were the culprit (perhaps when I upgraded to the 8830 a while ago it was a default setting).  So, I just changed the setting to keep the appointments forever, but when I try to synch again, it still wants to delete the old appointments.  Any suggestions?

  • Using Proforma Invoices on MM side

    Hi,
I've heard of proforma invoices being used on the SD side but we are looking into seeing if proforma invoices can be used also on the MM side as well.
    Business need:
During tax audits, the auditors ask to see a "proof of sale" document for intercompany movement of materials (delivery, STO from one plant to another, goods issue doc).  The business process doesn't involve any external sale but an intercompany "sale" (movement of materials within the company).
We were wondering if proforma invoice could be also used on the MM side so that we can show auditors that the intercompany sale took place.  I am wondering if any other companies run into this kind of audit issue for goods issue process (some times just showing them SAP data from tables is not enough "proof").
    Thanks.

If I understand correctly, when the table is updated you want the forms to display this updated data automatically. At this moment I can't think of another way to do this. You need to requery and some kind of action is needed to do that.

Does anyone know if a Apple retail store could provide a copy of a receipt for an iMac I bought in 2009? It was stolen out of my home and I cannot find the receipt for the insurance claim.

call the store and ask.  I am not sure how long they keep sales records.  I would imagine 7 years for tax/audit purposes.  Perhaps a credit card/bank statement may be a substitute unless you paid cash.
