Get External web page

I am trying to fetch an external web page and store it in Oracle on a periodic basis.
I am trying to create a Java Stored procedure that grabs the page and stores it in a table.
I am having troble using url.openstream()
Any ideas?

Ok, I just downloaded the demo of RapidWeaver and there was a feature called iFrame. IFrame allows an external web page to be displayed in the theme of your site. I have a store on my site that I had coded in PHP and HTML by hand, and have no real way to incorporate the page into my iWeb theme. Currently, I link to another place on my server, but the theme/ navigation bar is no longer available and it looks really unprofessional. If someone knows how to make something like iFrame work in iWeb, please let me know.

You want to run an external web page within your Web Dynpro? If so the UI element iFrame is probably what you should use. Caution: The iFrame was deprecated in 7.0 and 7.01, although it will return to full support again in 7.02.

Can I embed an external web page?

In Rapidweaver you can make a frame on a page and within the frame show an external web page. I would like to do the same in iweb.
I'm trying to embed my Blogger page so that people will be able to access it from with in my web site. I want them to be able to read and comment without leaving my site. I've been using iweb enhancer but do not understand what code to insert for this. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks .

replacing the url inside. Basically what you
suggested. BTW I inserted the code following the
directions of iweb enhancer and it did the trick
after a bit o tweeking with size.

Problem when using inlineFrame to include external web page.

I built a ADF web application which include some external web pages.
I use the ADF components: panelTabbed + showDetailItem + inlineFrame.
Each tab is point to a external web page. see my code belows:

It almost done except one thing: When I switched the tab back and forth, the input parameter in the previous tab will be lost.
It seems af:inlineFrame always reload the page and clear every input by user !
How to preserve the user input when switched the tab back and forth?

Many free wi-fi hotspots require that you register first - agreeing to their terms and conditions, etc. This is usually provided via a web page with Safari provided immediately after connecting. If the register page is provided via Flash, you won't see it and you won't be able to register.

After upgrading to 8.0 the add-on compatability tool runs and the Getting Started web page loads every time the browser starts.

After upgrading to 8.0 from 7.0.1 every time I start FF I get the add-on compatibility tool to run and the Getting Started web page loads along with my homepage in separate tabs as well. So far I have tried running the installer again, disabling all add-0ns and custom settings and restarting and turning off automatic updates. Nothing worked there. I got the same behavior each time. I don't know what else to try other than a full uninstall and reinstall. Something I'd like to avoid if it's possible because of the time involved. This is the second time I have posted regarding this issue. The first time I didn't get a response. A solution or a possible workaround would be greatly appreciated if anyone knows of any. As a staff member and a global forum moderator for an anti-virus company I understand how hectic things can be at times but some feedback, good or bad, on this issue would be very welcomed! Hi michaell, thanks for the reply. I tried everything in the Preferences are not saved link you provided and nothing worked there. If creating a new profile will delete all my add-ons and custom settings I might as well just do a complete uninstall and reinstall. That actually would be easier. That article told me how to save my bookmarks though so I don't have to loose those which is nice. I don't know if this makes any difference but there is a discrepancy between the preference file in the article which is: prefs.js and what's showing on my PC which is: prefs with no .js suffix. I tried to rename the file to prefs.js and restarted. No luck there either. It just created another prefs file. I guess we've pretty much exhausted all the avenues to try! Can't get a web page to validate with meta tags with w3c??

I have created a website for my school projects, and every week I have to add something to it for the course, and every monday I have to submit my code in a zipped folder to the professor, after running it through the w3c validation page, and passing, This current week, I was instructed to swork on SEO for my site, and add meta tags to the site to fish for traffic, and then I have to validate it through w3c and submit. Well, I did not complete this because w3c would not validate my page until I removed every single meta tag from the code, and I cannot for the life of me understand the error that is holding me back. So, in an effort to see if I could get some help here, I have included my code, and will try to explain what is happening and the code as well as the error from the validator service. Please have a look, help me, because I am totally lost here....

What in the world does this mean, because I am seriously lost on this, and the only way I could get around this was to completely remove the entire line, "<meta name="" content="Zachariah Lloyd, basketball, computers" /><meta fttp-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />", which removed all of my meta tags completely, in order to validate it?? I cannot see what is setting this thing off like that, I have never gottena validation error before, and I now know that they are written as meaningless gibberish that does not even remotely explain what is wrong, at least not to me....

Line 4 and line 5 are trying to do the same thing. Take out the
<meta fttp-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
line entirely and you will be good.

Can't ping or get printer web page or print via hostname

Ok, this has me stupped on my iMac running Mavericks. I just added my Kyocera printer as an IP printer but used the host name instead of an IP address, sounds simple so far.
Before doing this, I change the default host name in the Kyocera printer to "Kyocera" (without quotations). Add printer found the device and came up with the correct PPD for the model number and all was good at this point. I sent a printer test page which again worked fine.
I then opened Safari and entered the printers IP address to make sure I could bring up the configuration web page for the device and this indeed works fine, at this point I retype the address in the address bar as Kyocera.local and again the page refreshed and came up fine, Yippee!! so I added it to Safari's Favourites Bar, all good!
Since then, I can still get to the devices home config page via the IP address, but it will no longer find the page via the save Kyocera.local link in the favorites bar or retyping it in the address bar.
I have tried network utility and pinging the device, IP address ping works fine but Kyocera.local says unknown host. Tried the next obvious step and that was to see if printing fails now as well and indeed it too fails as it was still configured to print to the host name as it was when I successfully printed the inbuilt printer test page. I deleted the printer and added the IP printer via the IP address not the hostname and printer now prints fine.
Does anyone know why printing via the host name and bringing up the printers config web page both worked for the first time but fails from there on in????
DNS settings were set to Auto from ISP, I also tried google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and even just adding the local bob router address in as an option but nothing works, but it did initially.
I install and repair printers for a living and have come across this when installing scan to FTP on a mac and rarely if ever can I get it to work scanning to FTP via the Mac's name for example, Jims-imac.local, just won't find it with or without the .local, but change it to the Mac's IP address and scan to FTP works great. Problem is that if the customer has their Mac getting IP address via DHCP, I have to advise the customer that if scan to FTP stops working, to check that the IP address on the Mac has not changed, and if it has, then change the scan to FTP settings on the scanner to the new IP address that the Mac has now been given from the DHCP server.
Not the best way to go about it. Why can't Mac's just find devices and devices find Mac's? Windows is so straight forward, what am I missing?

First of all let me clarify your trial.
Where is your monitoring server?
Is it behind inside or outside interface (please share ip adress)?
From config it seems, it can be reach via outside interface. Then you have to make snmp check on outside interface, not on inside (cannot make a snmp/ping check on inside interface with request comming through outside inteface - it simply won't work).
From the first check of routing table, I would suggest:
delete : route outside MCCC_Outside 255.255.255.255 1.1.1.1 1 - doesn't make a sense route host address, when it's directly connected network (and more, route 1.1.1.2 to 1.1.1.1, when 1.1.1.1 is vlan2 interface)
change : route outside 172.31.0.0 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1 1; route outside Domain 255.255.0.0 192.168.1.1 1 - you should consider route it to 1.1.1.2 (if this is your next hop address at WAN).
route outside VLAN10 255.255.255.0 MCCC_Outside 1 - why?
I would use default route to somewhere at 1.1.1.0/24 range - next hop (router).

Everytime I start firefox I get its web page plus Flash Video Downloader advertisement in 2nd tab, how do I get rid of this

I get the standard Firefox web page but also get a second web page advertisement for Flash Video Downloader. I use Flash Video Downloader already and my data use is limited monthly so I don't want this page coming up every time I get on the web browser. I've asked the Flash Video folks but they have no suggested solutions. It is not shown in options for home page and I can't find where it is being loaded from.

Embed SharePoint Calendar to External Web Page

I would like to embed a SharePoint Calendar to an external public web page. This is very easy to do with google calendars and I have been struggling trying to find a solution in SharePoint.

The client side object model could do this in combo with a SPQuery. Microsoft has extended SharePoint 2010 to include lots of JavaScript connectors. They have also opened the ablility to include the JavaScript Libraries in External Applications. The
thread which would be returned from SharePoint would be in JSON format. Here is a blog post overview this ability.

The DLL's behind this from MS allow access to almost any object inside SharePoint. Microsoft has opened the ability to place these in external applications, they are
Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.DLL and Microsoft.SharePoint.CLient.Runtime.dll you can find these on your SharePoint Server at c:\Programs files\common files\Microsoft Shared\WEb Server Extensions\14\isapi folder.

If you have done dev work on SharePoint you have used SPListItem which allows that access of list (calendars are lists). In the client side object model you ListItem from with JavaScript.
Working with the list data.
As I noted before, the ListItem is the same this as SPListItem. You reference an existing ListItem as a member of a ListItemCollection object.
