Get form data to appear in workflow log

Is there any way of getting the information held by a basic form to appear in the workflow log?
I have created a simple approval process using a form & would like to use the log to see the audit trail of what was approved.

Hi Mark,
The workflow container as well as each step's container is available via the log. If you display the workflow header task you can look at it's container, as well as any task in the WF.
Hint: If you're developing/administering WF's, make sure you use the technical views - it's much more obvious there, just click on the container icon next to any step in the WF, otherwise it's under extras->container in your individual task display.
If you need to access the container programatically, there is FM SAP_WAPI_READ_CONTAINER.

How do I initialize an array after getting xml data via httpservice?

I am having a problem trying to initialize an array with data from an external xml file obtained via httpservice. Any help/direction would be much appreciated. I am using Flex 4 (Flash Builder 4).
Here is my xml file (partial):

(I have tried resultFormat using object, array, xml).
I am using this following Tour de Flex example as the base -http://www.adobe.com/devnet-archive/flex/tourdeflex/web/#docIndex=0;illustIndex=1;sampleId =70500
and updating it with the httpservice call and result handler. But I cannot get the data to appear - I get [object Object] instead. In my result handler code I use "icdcodesar = new Array(event.result.Root.Row);" and then "icdcodesar.refresh();".
The key question is: How to I get data from an external xml file into an array without getting [object Object] when referencing the array entries. Thanks much!

Pulling Multiple Approver Names from Workflow Logs for One Work Item

I have a workflow design which requires multiple approvals per single work item. I happen to have another functional design that is also pulling data from those same workflow logs. Assuming I have multiple approvals at various levels for a single work item which table do I need to reference along with which fields to reference the different approvers per level of approval?

I have tried every combination of trying to get form data

Getting Delivery Date of an item on Purchase to appear in Sales Order form

Hi Experts
Can you tell me if and how it might be possible to get the future delivery date of an item on a purchase order to appear at the row level in Sales Orders for an item which is out of stock? I assume it will need some type of formatted search to pull the information out of the Purchase Order system or is there some standard SAP B1 functionality which I am not aware of?

It is as if the server has decided that the client has timed out during the file upload. The default setting is 30 seconds for AcceptTimeout in the magnus.conf file. This should be ample to get the file across, even increasing this to 2 minutes just produces the same error after 2 minutes. Any help appreciated. Apologies if this is not the correct forum for this, I couldn't see one for iPlanet and Web, many thanks, Kieran.

You didnt mention which version of IWS. follow these steps.
(1)Goto Web Server Administration Server, select the server you want to manage.
(2)Select Preference >> Perfomance Tuning.
(3)set HTTP Persistent Connection Timeout to your choice (eg 180 sec for three minutes)
(4) Apply changes and restart the server.
*Setting the timeout to a lower value, however, may prevent the transfer of large files as timeout does not refer to the time that the connection has been idle. For example, if you are using a 2400 baud modem, and the request timeout is set to 180 seconds, then the maximum file size that can be transferred before the connection is closed is 432000 bits (2400 multiplied by 180)

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

There is no built-in date picker available for forms created in Acrobat. There are some third-party solutions involving JavaScript (either a large collection of fields or a custom dialog) though. Also, text fields with date formatting will use a wheel type date picker on Android/iOS devices with Adobe Reader.

Hello folks! I am reading active directory info from a web service into forms via imported java classes. I can read from functions that return strings just fine, but I have to get the output from getGroupUsers which returns an XmlDataDocument. How do I read this in and parse it in Forms?
I will be grateful if y'all could point me to an example.

Since you are already dealing with server-side JAVA, I would suggest you create a method that would do the parsing server-side and what your PL/SQL will be dealing with is just the return string.
Here is a method I use to read an XML file (actually, it is an Oracle Reports file converted to XML) and from the string version, I will do search, replace and other things.
So, from getGroupUsers which returns an XmlDataDocument, you can adapt this method to get your data server-side and let the form module read the output data.

I am using HCM processes and Forms. I need to access the form data in the workflow container once the workflow kicks off.
I need to access these data as would need it for further processing in the workflow.
I know that TS17900110 allows to import form conatiner to
-> WF Container in the field name and value pair. But I need to access a lot more fields than what is in the task. Is there a standard task which allow to retrieve all the fields in the form in one task or do I need to develope a custom class to do that. If so could you please provide some clue as in how to code this specific requirement as i am somewhat new to OO ABAP.

There is a date and time Title you can use. If I recall correctly, it displays date plus hours and minutes, but not seconds.

I quite do not get what you are trying to achieve here.
- In a mapping, use the DBMS engine sysdate command.
- In a variable, you can refresh the variable value using a "select sysdate from dual" type of query.
- You can also use the appropriate odiref substitution method to get a date. For example:
Current year is: :<%=odiRef.getSysDate("y")%>
