Get Image and sound

Question

Help! Can anybody tell me how to get the AudioClip and the Image rather than using getAudioClip(getCodebase()) and getImage(getCodebase()) ?

AudioClip pacPowerClip = this.getAudioClip(getURL("audioClips/pacman.wav"));
ImageIcon iiNorthWest = new ImageIcon(getURL("guiIcons/arrows/NorthWest.gif"));

        try{
            url = new URL(codeBase, filename);
