Get-RDRemoteApp fails to find deployment

I have created a rds deployment as follows
3x Server 2012r2
RDSH01 (RemoteApp Host)
RDSGW01 (is actually running web access)
RDSBR01 (Broker)
I created it using the add role wizard and everything is currently working as expected.
When I run get-RDremoteapp I get the following message
Get-RDRemoteApp : A Remote Desktop Services deployment does not exist on RDSH01.domain.com. This operation can be
performed after creating a deployment. For information about creating a deployment, run "Get-Help
New-RDVirtualDesktopDeployment" or "Get-Help New-RDSessionDeployment".
+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [Write-Error], WriteErrorException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.WriteErrorException,Get-RDRemoteApp
I have tried running this remotely and directly on each of the 3 machines above, however I get the same error message.
Any suggestions?

Thank you for updating the result!

  • Failed to Find SQL Service

When running the Lync 2013 Deployment wizard and running Step 2 Setup and Remove Lync Server Components, I get the following error "Failed to find SQL Service. Make sure that SQL Server Service (instance name LyncArchiving) is installed in machine
<machine name>.  This also occurs for instance LyncMonitoring.  After searching for a solution, it was suggested that it could be fixed by running the Topology Builder and unchecking the Archiving and Monitoring features.  I did that and
then published the topology again.  Got same error. Any suggestions?

    Ben,
I deployed Lync Standard Edition not Enterprise Edition. When I deployed the Front End pool, I selected to deploy it as a Standard Edition Server.  I then inadvertently select the Archiving and Monitoring features.  It does not give you the
option of using a seperate SQL server. I did not specify any other SQL server so the archiving and monitoring instances should have been created on my front end.  Apparently they were not. The error messages I get are "Failed to find SQL Service. Make
sure that SQL Server service (instance name LyncArchiving) is installed in machine LyncFE1.micoen.local" and "Failed to find SQL Service. Make sure that SQL Server service (instance name LyncMonitoring)...".  In the uninstall cmdlet I did reference
the instance name and server from the error message. The use of the -force switch did not help.

  • HT1527 Whenever I try to redeem a card or access my account I get a message "connection manager invoke failed to find service connection url".  I reset my password, logged out and tried logging back in, same message.  How do I solve this issue?

Whenever I try to log in to my account or redeem gift cards, I get a message saying "Connection Manager Invoke Failed to find a service connection url".  I changed my password, logged out and the same thing keeps happening.  Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Hello,
Try to go to the settings on your phone... Settings > Store > Click your Apple ID: And sign out from your account, then sign in again .... This solved the problem for me on my iPhone 4s

  • I can't log on to itunes account. Keep getting the error: Connection Manager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. What can I do?

I can't log on to my itunes account. Keep getting the error: "Connection Manager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url". What can I do?

    Hi, Buster1932.
I would recommend logging out of your account then logging back in.  If the issue persists, see the article below.

  • I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error .  It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url

the iPad is totally new to me.  I can't seem to do anything with my Apple ID.  As the title says, I am trying to download the Facebook app to my new iPad and I keep getting an error.  It tells me to sign in using my existing Apple ID, which I enter, then when I put in the password I get ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.  Cancel or Retry.  I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'd also love to know how to get rid of the old owner's name, which was Mike - I'm Ann

Wow, I found a solution in another thread:
    I had exact same error.....
    Rebooting - Failed
Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS    I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.
    Good luck!
I still need to know how to change the name to Ann, though, Mike keeps popping up - and yes, I have changed it under Settings.....

  • HT203426 I keep getting the following when I am trying to download previously purchased apps "ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url."

ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url. I keep getting this error line I have just got my macbook pro back from repairs and a drive upgrade could this be the problem...?

    Hey gasemp,
If you see that error I would sign out then sign back in to see if that resolves the issue:
    Sign out
    Choose Store > Sign Out.
Sign in using an Apple ID
Choose Store > Sign In, or click Sign In in the Quick Links section.
The Quick Links section is located in the right part of the window shown when you click Featured, Top Charts, or Categories in the toolbar.
Enter your Apple ID and password, and then click Sign In.

  • I get this message when I try to update Evernote in the Appstore on the Macbook: ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.

I have no problems in connecting to the appstore on my iphone or in iTunes. Just in the Appstore on my Macbook I get this message (ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url.)

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.

  • Keep getting ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection service url

I just started getting "ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url" on my AppleTV 2nd Gen.
Only my AppleTV is having this problem. Our iPhones, MacBooks and iPad are all fine.
Signed out and back in serveral times, but no luck.
    Apple TV SW Version 5.3
Googling around I see other folks having this problem, but I couldn't find a definitive solution posted anywhere.
Does anyone know of a solution to this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

Having the same issue.  Updated with 5.3 recently and was fine for a few days, then randomly started and unable to load purchased movies.  Restarted; and then Reset and loaded 5.3 again.  Made no difference. Randomly works (i.e. can play a movie) but mostly not.  Signed out of ITunes account and currently unable to sign in again. So no Apple TV Itunes Store services at all.  Same ConnectionManager::invoke::Failed to find service connection url message appearing constantly.  Assume 5.3 is at issue?  Unsure how to resolve.

  • Snow Leopard Finder's Get Info fails to show Owner and Group for some files or folders which reside on a Shared Volume, hosted by G5 Server w/ OS 10.4 - why?

Frustrations with file permissions abound, as certain co workers are unable to manually determine their level of permission or who to ask to make changes to files and folders belonging to others. Users of Snow Leopard desktop OS get unhelpful feedback via Finder's Get Info, seeing only the permissions listed for "Everyone" and a statement that "You have custom access".  The custom message exists, presumably, because ACL's are employed on the shared volume in an attempt to give managerial control over these volumes to specific users, even if all users can create files and folders on those volumes.
Shared volumes are partitions of an external RAID which are set up as sharepoints on a G5 tower running Server 10.4.  Other persons in the office, using machines that are running desktop OS 10.5, can correctly see the assigned Owner and Group permissions (although the "custom access" still shows).  This at least lets the 10.5 user know who created a given file or folder, so that they can resolve permissions-restricted issues if they come up (i.e. User A wants to delete file X, but as it was created by User B, A must contact B and have them delete it.  In 10.6 it appears that A cannot determine who B is).
I know that ACL's are functioning (enabled on the drive) since we have been making use of ACL-granted write privileges for quite a while (and the custom access seems to be evidence too).
An error I encountered, pertaining to this, is that I used a 10.6 machine to create a working folder, then generated and saved several files in this location.  Expected permissions thus would be Owner = me (i.e. the user I was logged in as), R/W, Group = staff, R only, Everyone = R only.  However, immediately the permissions shown in Finder / Get Info consisted only of Everyone = R only, with no entry for Owner or Group.  Moreover, clicking + to add either an Owner or a Group resulted in error message that I had entered an invalid user or group, even though I typed in correct info (such as trying to add "staff" as a group).

  • WL7: deploy fails to find configured TX DataSource

I don't understand why I'm getting the following exception at deployment
    (external-stage):
weblogic.ejb20.WLDeploymentException: The DataSource with the JNDI name:
mysql-txdatasource-pool could not be located. Please ensure that the DataSource
has been deployed successfully and that the JNDI name in your EJB Deployment
    descriptor is correct.
Here is an excerpt from my "config.xml" that shows the data sources and pools,
all of which I created in the admin console:
    <JDBCConnectionPool ACLName="admin"
    DriverName="org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver" Name="mysql-pool"
    Password="{3DES}jkpHRiRP/zU=" Properties="user=admin"

Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening, or something that I
could do to get more information?
    I'm running on Win2k.

    David,
I'd try to stop the server, add Targets="myserver" to the defintion
of the pool and datasource and then restart the server and look
at the shell console/server log for errors.

Right before, the error you mentioned, I see a couple of file not found message. You might want to check those, still it can be anything from a file that doesn't exist till too little disk space.

  • WES 7 OSD standalone (works) vs bootable (fails) - Failed to find suitable device driver for device (help)

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to deploy a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (trial key at the moment) image in SCCM 2012 SP1 with a very simple task sequence.
    I have a 'build and capture' and an OSD TS. I'm testing these on Hyper-V PCs and both work fine when i create stand alone media. The problem arrises when I try to deploy (or build & capture) with a bootable media;
The TS starts, formats the disk, applies the OS, Windows and network settings, Apply Device Drivers etc., but when it reboots into Windows
(or WES7 to be exact) it cant boot. The Windows Boot Manager reports a 0xc0000359 for storvsc.sys
And I can't figure out what's wrong. I will post the SMSTS log further down below. The SAME TS works fine when it's a stand alone media.
    I have tried to:
    - Apply the WIM manually (nothing wrong - boots fine)
    - Create and apply driver package for the Hyper-V machines (from the MSI's Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x86 and Windows5.x-HyperVIntegrationServices-x64)
    - No dice
    - Create a new boot image with the hyper-v drivers in it. No dice
    - Google everything related I can think of.
I suspect it has something to do with the lines where it says:
"Failed to find a suitable device driver for device xxx”
It also has a couple of 401 errors when trying to get the packages, but it seems like it DOES end up getting the content.
Please help! What could it be?
I have 2 Hyper-V machines; one w. legacy network adapter - one not. Both have same issue.

  • Failed to unlock deployment list

    Hi guys!
I need help because when I run a workflow that call several mappings, it stops in the middle of one of the mappings, looks like it ended up successfully (all green, 0 errors in the log). I have no log file in the $OWB_HOME/owb/log folder, and the only error message I can find is in the xterm where I launched OWB client :
    doAsynchronousExecution
    Task notification null PRC_DMT_MAIN
    Execute operation NativeExecution OWF_BIDEALERS_LOCATION PRC_DMT_MAIN
    Task notification null PRC_DMT_MAIN:MPG_DIM_SOCIETE_SITE_MARQUE
    Task notification OK PRC_DMT_MAIN
    Execute operation NativeExecution OWF_BIDEALERS_LOCATION PRC_DMT_MAIN
    Task notification OK PRC_DMT_MAIN:MPG_DIM_DMT_TEMPS
    Task notification OK PRC_DMT_MAIN:MPG_DIM_SOCIETE_SITE_MARQUE
    Task notification OK PRC_DMT_MAIN:MPG_DIM_DMT_TEMPS
    Failed to unlock deployment list
    Failed to unlock deployment list
PRC_DMT_MAIN is my workflow, and all the MPG are the mappings is calls. Several are missing.
A bit more about the context :
    - we have a dev. environment running on windows server and everything is fine,
    - we have a test environment running on linux SLES where I have this issue,
    - we have written an OMB*Plus script to perform the erport/import/deployment and it has run perfectly so far,
    - we already have been through the OS-specific problems (folder separator, case sensitiveness, ...)
I googled the error message "Failed to unlock deployment list" but didn't get anything helpful.
    Can anybody please advise?
    Thanks in advance!
    Ced.

    Nigel,
My fault, on the log : I renamed the log file, expecting OWB to create a new one but everything was actually logged in the renamed file.
My client is working on the server. I use putty and XMing to get it displayed on my PC.
I did not try with today delta load, but with the Monday full load, to run each part separately. It allowed me to complete the process. Thus it's not the workflow contents that fails.
One weird thing is in the log file today. I have to explain a bit more:
Both full and delta workflow contain 1 workflow for each layer (ODS, DWH, DMT) the difference is the DWH workflow that is not exactly the same. The two DWH workflows and the DMT workflow all call some mappings and also call a set of workflows.
The strange thing is that the delta didn't reach the end of the ODS. The DWH and DMT weren't even started. But the log file reports a start of the DMT workflow called by the delta workflow at the same time as the ODS. The DWH isn't started, while the main workflow sequentially calls ODS, DWH and then DMT.
The funny thing is that the DMT seems to run ( while it is not supposed to ) and to stop at the same place as in the full : I have a log for the same 2 DMT mappings.
I believe that there is something somewhere that remains from former executions and that is re-executed for some reason.
I also think that if my delta stops, it is not due to the ODS, but due to the fact that this ghost DMT session that runs in parallel says "stop" to the whole process while the ODS is running.

Finally, I think that the issue isn't in the workflows themselves as the same issue happens on 2 different workflows.
    Can you please advise?
Thanks for your help so far!
    Ced.
    Unfortunately I can't go any further :

  • Sccm boot from thumb drive - failed to find task sequence.

The computer should be generating its own netbios name when booting but what is happening when booting from
the SCCM 2012 thumb drive FAILED TO FIND TASK SEQUENCE to grab image off of network drive.
When I real the SMSTS.log file it is getting its name pulling names off of computers that are in AD.
    ALERT ALERT! ALERT!

Run this query for the MAC and see if there are any results. Could be that the MAC is assigned to a machine already and you either need to deploy the OS to a collection and add that machine to the collection, or it is possible the GUID is duplicated.
    select SYS.netbios_name0, SD.itemkey, MAC.MAC_Addresses0, SD.SMS_Unique_Identifier0,SD.Hardware_ID0,SD.Name0,SD.Unknown0,SD.Obsolete0,SD.Active0,SD.Decommissioned0,SD.Creation_Date0,SD.SMBIOS_GUID0

  • Task Sequence Error - Failed to find CCM_SoftwareDistribution object (0x80040104)

Hi, we recently migrated packages and a DP to SCCM2012. now, when we checked OS Deployment, the TS fails with error Code 0x80040104.   . it has errors with a driver package.
I Already updated the DP, i also deleted it on all DPs and resend it.. no luck.
Someone a clue. in the forum i saw an entry about a corrupt driver package.. but no further infos or a link.
