Geting Planned Order Object ID

Hi, I'm trying to determine the configuration of a planned order from a remote system using function module BAPI_CFGINST_CHARCS_READ. One of the input parameters is the Object ID which I don't know how determine it.
So far I've used BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_GET_DETAIL and BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_GET_DET_LIST to get planned order details but the object ID doesn't seems to be in the output data.
Thanks,
Diego

Can anybody tell me if there is a way to read  the planned order object_id from an external system?

  • Convert Sale order to Planned order in PPDS

I have nearly 400 Open sale orders to be uploaded in R/3 with some 6000-7000 line items, which needs to be converted to Planned order and subsequently to Production order in APO-PPDS .
I tried using tcode RRP3 at all stages(Multi Level ), which is manual and time taking job.Is there any way to automate RRP3??
I also tried via RRP2 by Sale order which is again a manual job.
Can anybody suggest the correct method with FM/BAPI sequence.I also tried CDPSB0 and then RRP7, BUT because there is no field for quantity, the planned orders are created based on PDS, which does not match my requirement.
    Awaiting for the reply...

    Nawal,
Sales orders are not 'converted' to planned or production orders.  Sales orders are demand, planned orders are supply.  They are different objects with different purposes.
You mention that your PDS is not suitable.  Creating large numbers of orders using non-PDS compliant master data can cause future consistency problems for these orders.
Exactly what do you wish to do, that cannot be done with the standard tools /SAPAPO/CDPS80 and /SAPAPO/RRP7?

  • Dedicated scheduling of a planned order having a fixed activity

    Hi Gurus,
We're using PP/DS Optimizer with Total Delay Costs objective function, following a Backwards Scheduling strategy in order to Reduce Premature Scheduling. Order activities are then scheduled as close as possible from the requirement dates. However we would wish to apply a forward scheduling strategy to the orders having a fixed activity, but starting from the existing order planned start date instead from the system date, i.e:
    Requirement X due on 18.01.2012
    Output firmed planned order Y with 3 activities (A1, A2, A3), A2 beeing fixed
Optimization result with a Backward scheduling strategy:
    A1 09.11.2011
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 17.01.2012
Optimization result when Backward scheduling setting is unchecked
    A1 NOW
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 17.01.2012
The business requirement we d'like to achieve
    A1 09.11.2011
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 19.12.2011
It is not foreseen to fix A1 to bypass the problem, above example is only a basic example whereas there're multiple activities in between A1 & A2 in our real material PDS. Is there any way (even with another optimization run, or using in combination a Production Planning Run...) to achieve such a scheduling strategy?
    BR,
    Pascal.

    Hi,
To add further and to more precise, the issue is:
In CM01[or in any capacity evaluation tcode], In a particular maonths load[Period] the opeartion from different month is showing up.
For example: if Period[month] 06 is veiwed of a Workcenter load, a line[load appears], whose earliest date is in 7th month[01.07.2014].
I expected to see, only Workcenters scheduled in 6th month to show up in the load evaluation.
Please look at the screen shot.

  • After firming planned order, new planned order is generating in MRP run

    Hi Experts,
I am using SAP AFS. Planning strategy is 21- MTO with Project settlement. MRP type is PD. Lte size is EX. Procurement type is X.
We are using the production versions. Individual / collective reqmts is 1. Planning time fence is not maintained.
In sap AFS T.Code for MRP run is /n/afs/md02. After receiving the Sales order, MD04 screen gets updated accordingly and I am running the MRP.Planned orders are generated accordingly. I am firming the planned order manually through MD04. The satr mark is also appearing.
My problem starts now. If I am running  the MRP again for the same requirements another planned order of the same qty. is getting generated. That means after the second MRP run, I am having two planned orders (one firmed plnd order) and second is the new planned order. My requirement is that MRP should not generate any new Plnd. order / PR's if there is no new Sales order.
The parameters for MRP run are "1" for "Create PR's", '1" for "Plng Mode" and '"1" for "scheduling ".
I have tried in all the possible ways, but of no use. Still new plnd order is generated after firming the 1st plnd. order in MRP run.

    Thanks all for your feedback..
    @ Vishal
    1. Yes, Both Old firmed planned order and newly generated planned order have the same grid value
    2. For both the planned orders :
Special Stock is E u2013 Orders on hand,
    Consumption is V,
Sales order is the same (As we are using MTO , Strategy 21) and same WBS element.
    3. First planned order is not in the assigned tab of MD04. This means that has been allocated to some object. u2013 I didu2019nt got this point. Can u please elaborate?
    @ Nikhil
    1. Quantity of sales order is not reducing after firming the sales order
    2. Account assignment category for both the planned orders is u201CZu201D - Indiv.cust./project
I have made some more observations and found the following differences between the two planned orders
From  MD04 , keep the cursor on corresponding planned order
& click on upward arrow ( available on bottom side of the report).
It will show what will be the originating requirements i e. for which requirements this planned order generated.

  • Error in converting Planned Order to Production Order (Urgent)

    Hi All,
I am facing an error when i am trying to convert a planned order to production order.
    +Error message:
"Assignment order/WBS" is not allowed (WBS L.XXXXXX-XXXX)
    Diagnosis:
The current status of object 'WBS L.XXXXXX-XXXX' prohibits business transaction 'Assignment order/WBS'.
    Procedure:
To process business transaction 'Assignment order/WBS', you first have to change the status of object 'WBS L.XXXXXX-XXXX' to allow the transaction 'Assignment order/WBS'.+
I have another planned order identical to this one & for that i am not getting this error. So i checked the network for these 2 WBS elements, but could not find anything different in status.
I am unable to figure out what might be causing this error. Hope my problem is clear, await inputs.
    Vivek

    Hi,
I checked the planned order, the assignment exists. I compared the planned order for which i am not facing any issue in converting to work order & the one for which i am facing the error & i see no difference.
So i am not able to trace what might be the reason. Is there anything which can be deciphered from the Diagnosis & Procedure which i have posted in my initial qns?

  • Convert planned orders in contracts

    Hi.
When running MRP, It seems that is only possible to create Purchase requisitions, schedule agreement divisions or planned orders. I need that the MRP output goes to a contract.
Does anyone know if itu2019s possible to do it directly from MRP run?
Or perhaps there is some BAPI or user program to convert planned orders in contracts.
Appreciate the help I can get!
    Best regards

It's not possible in standard, you may try to find if there is such BADI or user-exit available
    1.  Start transaction SE81
    2.  Expand the branch for the component you wish to search e.g PP-MD-BOM
, then select the entire subtree (F9)
    3.  Goto Environment  >Repository Information System  >Selected
        Packages
    4.  Select the option Objects->Enhancement->
         Business Add-ins or Customer exits->
Double click on the Definations or Enhancements
    5.  Execute (F8)
A list of user exits (enhancements) for the selected component will be
    displayed.

  • Planned Order Type/Profile

    Hi
The Planned Order Profiles does not contain any account assignment category defined and also the requirement class (030 in my case) does not have any acc assignment category specified. After MRP run, the system defaults to the planned order type NB. Can somebody explain, how does this happen? What is the link?
Please explain and elaborate if possible.
    thanks a lot.

  • Default PR Type when convert from Planned Order

    Hi all,
How can I default my PR Type when convert from Planned Order after MRP run. This can done via MRP Group control but how to go about controlling via Planned Order profile?
Which planned object type and planned order profile to be used? assuming that i need my planned to be output at LA type and convert to NB1 PR type instead of the default NB PR type?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Andrew

    Hi,
The system determines the document type from the stettings u are making in "planned order Profile" in Customising for MRP. There u define the order type, the procurement key and the special procurement key and also the account assignment category. So based on the procurement key and the special procurement key maintained in the Marterial master, the document type is selected.
Production > Materials Requirement Planning > Procurement Proposals > Planned Order > Define order profile
Choose the planned order type - NB1 Within this you specify the P req doc type to be used.
Through MRP group and the different PR document type for MRP generated PR is possible only if you assign the document type to MRP group in the MRP configuration.
    Please try and come back.

  • Planned order Vs Actual Production report

    Hi Experts
We are running MRP make to stock means we maintain PIR(MD61) in system. On the basis of PIR system create planned order and we declare production against these planned orders. I need a report which show the detail of planned order and actual production declare against that planned order. Please guide.
    Regards
    Parkash Chand

    Dear Parkash,
second possible soluction could be create a custom report using this standard Bapi BAPI_MATERIAL_STOCK_REQ_LIST in order to read MRP element and to summarize the elements desired   (DELKZ field):
    MRP Ele Ind   Object
    PP     Planned independent requirement
    FE     Production order
    Pa     Planned order
Third possible soluction setting in customizing the writing of the MRP table MDKP for header data and MDTB for item data and create a Query on these mrp table.
Let me know if i've been useful for you.

  • Default PR type for MRP (planned order -- PR)

    Hi Expert,
Is there any posibility to set default PR type for planned order - PR conversion from MRP?
in SAP standard, PR type is NB, we have configured specific PR type, let say PRM. The purpose is we do not need to change NB to PRM while converting the planned order into PR.
    Pls help.Thanks
    Rgds,

    Hi Gurus,
This is my first post in this forum. Have been trying to search this forum for my case all day and found some answers but when i implemented it in my SAP , the answers didn't work.
    The case is:
When i try to convert Planned Order to PR through tcode MD15/MD16, the system will propose PR Document Type NB as default. In my company we don't use that NB PR type. We have another 10 customized PR Type and one of them is for Replenishment. I'd like to set this ZR09(Replenishment) PR Type as default and it's not possible to choose another PR Type.
I have read several answers and implemented them, for example:
    1. OPPR with MRP Group 000, and I found no indicator except Scheduling/Doc Type. I typed ZR09 in field Doc Type SPO but in MD15/MD16 other PR Types still appear with NB as default.
    2.  SPRO-MM- Consumption based planning u2013Procurement Proposal u2013 Define Order Profile or SPRO-PRoduction - MRP- Procurement Proposal - Planned Order - Define order Profile, when creating new entries with Object Type Planned Order/PR still canu2019t find my customize PR Type in field Order Type. Field Order Type only consist of 2 digits order type such as NB,LA,RS,KD,KB,PE,PR,VP. No place to choose PR Type ZR09 or other customized PR Type.
    Can anyone help my case?
    Thanks and regards,

  • Lock/ disable field in planned order MD12

    Dear expert,
Can we lock the field in planned order? In my case, I want the purchasing staff to be able to change only the production version, for others field i want them to be locked. Therefore the purchasing cannot change any fields in there except the production version.
this is due to the need for material subcon.
Maybe u can give any advice. what should i do?? do i need to make new customizing t-code for ex: ZMD12 or just make new customizing from authorization t-code su3?
    Thanks
    Pauline

    Dear Pauline,
Check in SE93,by creating a new T Code ,with the start object as Transaction with variant.
    Transaction type: Variant transaction
In the SAP Reference IMG, under "Basis Components" -> "Application Personalizaion" -> "Tailoring of Application Transactions",  you can define transaction variants. These allow you to preassign values to fields within a transaction, define field attributes, or hide entire screens.
To run a transaction variant, you define a variant transaction. On the next screen, enter the name of the transaction and the name of the variant.
    Note
    Variant transactions are client-specific.
If you try to start a variant transaction and the corresponding variant does not exist, the transaction runs without a variant.
If the above does not helps you means, check this link to explore more,
    Transaction variant

  • Creating Production Order from Planned Order

    Hi,
We are trying to use the BAPI 'BAPI_PRODORD_CREATE_FROM_PLORD' to create Prod. Orders. But it is failing with the message, 'Cannot be saved. Maintain serial no.' Now, the problem is there is no input parameter in this BAPI for providing the serial numbers. Our current Z program manually generates the Serial Numbers and uses BDC for 'CO48' to create the Prod. Order but has a horrible performance and for that reason we are trying to switch to BAPI instead).
Now, the question is how best to achieve this objective: Use the BAPI to generate Prod. Orders from Planned orders with user-given serial numbers when there is no input option in the BAPI?
I think of couple of options but not sure how good they are:
    1) Can we create/attach the serial numbers to the equipment/material first and then create production orders?
    2) Use implicit enhancement to add another parameter to BAPI and use it instead. This one seems little technically complicated because the BAPI itself calls tons of other programs (including CO48) to create Prod. Orders so the right place to insert the numbers might be difficult.
Any clues how to solve this problem would be appreciated..
    Thank you

    Hi,
REM manufacturing is simpler way to book the production.
What is needed for REM is first question.
    1) REM profile
    2) Material on REM with this profile and REM tick
    3) Have normal BOM and routings/ rate routings and work center
    4) Define Production Version
    5) Define Product Cost Collector on which all costs are booked whenever you do your confirmation thro MFBF
Having defined these master, once you run MRP you get planned order of PE type. It was earlier also callled as RS i.e Run Schedule.
By using MFBF, backflushing transaction can book the production. REM is period based type of production booking unlike discrete where you make a production order of particular material for some dates, it is lot based production booking.
    Hope it is clear.

  • Logs or change history of planned orders

    Hi,
Would like to ask if you know a transaction code that will display the logs or changes made for a planned orders.  If there is a transaction code also that would display the username of the person who deleted or changed the planned order.
    Thank you.
    -Lyncel

    Hi,
For Planned order change -  Check with  Table PLAF and below fields
    User
Time Stamp - This will give the last change date on  which planned order has changed( For EX today  20,080,506)
However u cannot view the details of  deleted planend order. Because Planned order is temp object only, once u delete, it will be deleted from PLAF table
