Getting 16 bit app communicating with 32 bit Labwindows app

Hello,
I am working with a 16 bit application written in Turbo Pascal. I want to upgrade this code so that it communicates over a USB port rather than through an interrupt driven DMA process involving a card that sits on an ISA slot. I'm interested in using a winsocket to allow the 16 bit application to communicate with a 32 bit Labwindows app. Does anyone have more information on this topic and/or examples of how I can do this using LabWindows/CVI?

I haven't specifically done this myself, but I did a few Google
searches and found some MSDN documentation that might be helpful to you
even though it's ODBC related.
What is "Thunking" and What Role Does it Play in CVI's 32-bit Environment, or in General?

Okay. this is what I do.

Open iTunes and then connect you to the iTunes store
and on the right you will see "Purchased"
and it will show you all the app that you have purchase during the years , and on right corner of the page you can choose to download everything again

Look for apps you need, read their specs and if it doesn't clearly say they work with the Health app, ask the developer if it does.

What are the symptoms of the wi-fi problem?
Have you reset the iPad?
Have you proved the wi-fi works from another device?
Have you reset the network settings on the iPad?
Have you tried backing up and then restoring your backup?
Have you tried restoring as a new device?

If you're using a Chrome or Firefox, I suggest you use Internet explorer for the meantime, once the plugin has been intalled on the browser, since Chrome and Internet explorer almost share the same settings, it should work well with Chrome after it.

Bridge to CS4 64 bit Vista - Problem with bit depth

I'm using Camera Raw in Bridge and CS4 64 bit. When the Camera Raw window opens in Bridge, the image is shown in 8 bit mode even though shot in 16 bit. I could not find a setting in either the Bridge or CS4 Preferences that accounts for the down sampling. If I do the same raw conversion in Lightroom, this down sampling doesn't occur. Any ideas? You
 were the one that designated 8-bits in the Camera Raw workflow options. Click on what appears to be an underlined link right below your image in the Camera Raw dialog box. You will then be presented with the workflow options and you can set them to whatever you want.
 
 Those options are sticky, which means they will remain in place until you change them again.
 
 This is a screen shot of ACR in CS3, but the workflow options are located in the same place in CS4.

BTW, it's best to check if your phone is running the latest software. Go to Settings > Phone > Device updates to check for it.

Not communicating with scanning device

I am running windows xp home edition sp2 with an hp office jet 5600xi all in one printer. Just switched to google chrome and I get the" no communication with the device error message" when trying to scan but can still print and copy.
tried all the suggested remedies but am hesitant to reinstall. Is there another remedy and if I have to reinstall, what should I avoid?

I would recommend trying a reinstall, but we're going to go about it in a specific way. I'm inlcuding documents for each section of troubleshooting that should walk you through step-by-step.
First, I would suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software.
Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration. You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

32-bit Windows 7 app on 64-bit platform oddity

An application compiled for a 32-bit platform runs correctly with an SDK that is compiled for 32-bit only, either in debug or release mode from Visual C++ Express 2008, on a 64-bit computer.
The target platform in the compiler options is set as X86. The compilation is for Win32.
However, when the release version is run outside of Visual C++ - that is, on its own, as an app - the SDK thinks the app is 64-bit, and returns an error of "not supported" (the SDK error message).
The application is mixed unmanaged and managed code, where the bulk of the routines are unmanaged with #pragma unmanaged at the top of the file after includes. The managed code portion is just for a few routines to use the MicroChip software. Thus
the code is compiled with the /clr option.
The application interfaces to a number of other 32-bit DLLs with no problem. The application has been working fine under all of these conditions for some time, and in different installations.
However, the new SDK that was just recently added, appears to be using some information somewhere to think it is running 64-bit, in stand-alone release mode only. It works fine when run under Visual C++ either in debug mode or release
mode.
I have looked all over for any other option that needs to be set to 32 bit for the SDK to know that it is working in a 32-bit app, albeit on a 64-bit platform. (There is no support for the SDK.)
Are there any computer settings that have to be changed?

Command-Key etc to start an App in 32-bit mode?

Is there some sort of Command-Key etc to start an App in 32-bit mode, without having to go to "Get Info" ?
I have a Canoscan scanner which only runs in Photoshop under 32-bit mode. It would be nice to be able to launch PS into 32-bit mode when I need to, without going to Get Info.

Quit the application and restart to run in 64-bit mode.
To have a keyboard shortcut to run this script: you have some solutions
First solution: Make a service with Automator.
Second solution: There are some third party utilities that launches script, and you can set a keyboard shortcut.

Win 7 64 bit issues building 32 bit app

I am using LV2012 SP4(32 bit) on a win 7 (64 bit) system.
I have a program that uses a 32 bit PCMCIA card and I have built an application. There are no 64 bit drivers for my PCMCIA card, so I can only use it on XP or Win 7 (32 bit) system.
When I launch the application [built with LV2012 SP4(32 bit) on a win 7 (64 bit) system] on XP system, the PCMCIA card will not configure and sends an error.
I've copied my project to 32 bit XP system and built the application using the same [LV2012 SP4 (32bit)] and the executable works fine.
Why can't I build this app on my Win 7 (64 bit) system and get it working on an 32 bit system?
What is different about the compiler?

Running 32 bit apps in 64 bit mode

Hi Everyone!
I've just had my old (in relative terms - only 5months old) mac replaced by apple with a shiny new one (loving apple right now!)... which runs natively in 64 bit mode... This is a nice surprise... except for the fact that I can no longer run the cisco vpn client (the inbuilt snow leopard client doesn't work as we have old cisco hardware on the network I'm trying to get to... long story)...
Just wondering if anyone knows how to run individual apps in 32 bit mode? I can't find what I need in the apple discussion forums or in google and I believe running the cisco client in 32 bit mode will solve all my problems...

Among other things, I am not a networking "expert." I did look at the Cisco web site and my eyes rolled around in my head. Perhaps there is something there that might help. Frankly, when I was working and had a VPN networking problem, I yelled for my IT people!
