Getting " getRepMan unable to obtain ReplicationManager" Error

          We had the following error message in one of our webconnect logs:

          Some thing similar to this was supposed to be fixed in weblogic 4.5.1 SP8
          and we are currently on weblogic 4.5.1 SP14 .
          Can anyone please explain as to why this error may have occured?

The exact scenario when this occured was
          1. We are running 10 WL servers on 5 SUN solaris maches (2 on each box)
          2. We stopped one of the 10 instances and restarted it
          3. The error was written to the log
          4. We stopped the WL instance with the error and re-started it
          5. The error did not re-occur
          Please let us know as to the possibvle causes of the same

    Here is my Scenario
    Project 1
    I have a Project which contains One class that was generated by Toplink "Employees" I have a Map with a few queries
    I Create a Java Service Facade to test and everything works fine...
    I create a session bean with a Remote, Local and Web service endpoint which generates the deploy file for me.
    I Deploy to Oracle AS 10.1.3 and test the web service. Again all is working so far.
    Project 2
    I Create an empty project and add a web service proxy, I use the WSDL from the deployed Session Bean to generate all the files. So far I have added no code.
    I create a test class. One of the methods should get a list of Employees from the web service so I can loop through the list to prove it's working, this is where it fails. For some reason findEmployees is returning a type of Employee[] rather than a List&lt;Employee&gt; which is what should be returned?
    Can anyone please help????

    Everytime I try to open a jnlp file i get the Unable to launch application error. I have no clue how to fix this and would like to know a solution. I currently have JRE 6 Update 6. Here is the error info.

  • Option -splash and -Xmx result in "Unable to launch JVM" error

    Hello everybody,
    we have a severe problem with launching our Java application using the "-splash:" and "-Xmx" command line options for which we cannot find any solution in the web. Our application needs a lot of heap space, so we usually set "-Xmx=920M". Usually, we are working with Java 6 and use the "-splash:" option to show a splash screen while the application is loading. In some cases, we get an "Unable to launch JVM" error now. This happens only on particular customer systems (servers as well as desktop machines) and the only solution is to decrease the maximum heap size for a couple hundred megabytes. The latter is usually unacceptable since our application requires a lot of heap memory and the machines do have more than sufficient memory. The other option is to completely remove the "-splash:" option, but then there is of course no splash screen anymore.
    Unfortunately, we are unable to track the error back and to figure what exactly is going wrong. Does anyone of you have any hints how to debug or analyze the error? Our assumption is that something is wrong due to memory partitioning which leads to unsufficiently large memory partitions to allocate the required heap memory by the JVM.
    Any ideas?

It is already hard for you to diagnose such an occurrence, I wouldn't expect anything more by asking in a forum. At least you have SOME way of doing some more diagnosing.
    I'm sorry, but you'll have to dive in deep. Figure out what update versions of Java the failing machines are running. Which OS. Which processor architecture. Etc. See if there is a common factor involved. If not, hunt through release notes of newer JDKs to see if any of them mention something related to the splash screen and if you find something, let the client attempt an update of the JDK on such a failing machine to see if the problem is remedied. If it is windows, try running with the server VM (java -server) in stead of the default client VM, if you are not already doing that.
    And yeah if all that fails and nobody else has something to add, I'm sorry to say that Oracle support will be your next logical step.

  • "Unable to load URL" error when importing VS2008 created WSDL

    One of my developers created a simple web service in Visual Studio 2008 that queries a database on our SQL Server 2005. I can view the web service results in a web browser with no problems. I can also pull up the WSDL in the web browser with no problems (http://<ip address>/Service.asmx?WSDL). However, when I try to load WSDL into a Web Service Connection in Xcelsius 2008, I get the "Unable to load URL" error.
    I've also tried to use the web service as a data source in Crystal Reports 2008, but I get another error:
    Logon failed.
    Details: Schema file is invalid
    error: src-resolve: element 'schema@http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema' not found
    I've seen a post in which it looked like Crystal acknowledged this as a bug in the XML driver used by Crystal products, but it should be fixed in a service pack update. I've got the latest service packs and fix packs installed for both Xcelsius 2008 and Crystal Reports 2008.
    I scanned the information being sent/returned to Xcelsius using Fiddler and it looks like the request is getting through and the actual WSDL file is being returned to Xcelsius, so it shouldn't be an authentication issue. It seems like Xcelsius doesn't like the WSDL file for some reason. However, it is automatically generated by Visual Studio 2008.
    Any ideas as to how I can get Xcelsius to use this test web service?

    Having the same issues here also.
    I can see the wsdl file being accessed successfully in the web access log, but Xcelsius v5.3 return "unable to load URL"
    Only thing I can guess is that the schema is "untyped"
    So, nobody in SAP has a solution?

    I have an 8330, and I recently begun getting an "Unable to play content" error when I try to play musi or a video.  I first noticed it after recieving the following error message when I turn on my phone, so I figure they are related.
    "Uncaught exception: A  browser content provider for audio/mid MIME type has already been registered with the browser"
    Any ideas on what is wrong or how to fix it?

  • TS1424 ipad: Rental movie downloaded 98%.. "unable to download movie" error

    Good Afternoon,
    I purchased a rental movie to watch on a plane ride today.  Unfortunately the movie hadn't finished downloading before I left the house.  I've tried 3 or 4 different internet connections (including verified very fast connections at the hotel and starbucks) and I get the "unable to download movie" error. 
    I can't find a way to delete the rental to try and start the download over, nor does syncing help.  Please assist!

    According to the error message, please use performance monitor to diagnose if it is a memory-related bottleneck and you can use the counters of the memory part in the article below:

    In addition, it may be due to thousands of open connections to the server are in a TIME_WAIT state. You can run "netstat -an" command on the affected server and client. If you see mutiple connections in the TIME_WAIT state, you can follow the article

  • Error when setting up gateway on local system: "Unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service"

    I have created an account in Office 365 to try Power BI, and have set up the Power BI site so far.
    Now i want to add few data sources, for which i guess i would need to do the following:
    1) Create a gateway (i have done this)
    2) Download and Install the gateway on my local machine (Installed on my 64bit windows 8.1 laptop)
    3) Run Data Management Gateway configuration manager wizard to setup up the gateway. 
    At this step, when i enter the Gateway Key (copied from the Power BI Site), i am getting error  "unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service".
    Where should i head next?

    Its working now. Thanks for the tips.
    Few things that i learnt here:
    1) You'll need to turn the firewalls off for the local system. (I am not sure if this is required, but i just did this and it started working for me).
    2) When you are creating the gateway on Power BI site, you click on Create new gateway, and it shows you the security key. Previously i just copied and saved this key and click Finish at this step (which i guess should not be done). What we need to do is
    to keep this screen ON, download and run the Gateway setup wizard and complete the setup, while keeping the page open in power BI site.
     I am getting the Gateway up and running now.
