Getting the current Mode - Basic or Advanced in the Query Component

Hi,
I am using the query component for search with programmatic view objects and have modified the processQuery() method according to my requirement. I am getting required attribute names , values and operators with the help of queryEvent.getDescriptor(). But still am not able to get the cuurent mode whether it is in Basic Mode or Advance Mode. Can anyone please provide a solution to this. Thanks in advance.

The above will return either:
QueryDescriptor.QueryMode.BASIC or
QueryDescriptor.QueryMode.ADVANCED

Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

How to determine the size (in pixels) of the current mode

Hello.
I am looking for a was to determine the size (horizontal and vertical pixels) of the current mode (SAPGUI window). I have already looked through the methods provided by class CL_GUI_CFW...
CL_GUI_CFW=>GET_METRIC_FACTORS provides the size of you display (i.e. 1600 x 1200 pixels) and some other information I am not able to interprete.
Futhermore I have had a look at the Methods CL_GUI_CFW=>COMPUTEPIXEL, but I don´t know how to use them.
Has anybody of you any experiences in this topic? I would be grateful ...

but i didn´t find out, why these programs should be able to solve my issue. They just display a picture using the CL_GUI_PICTURE control.
I am looking fo a way to resize a given control to the very maximum, so that it fills the whole SAPGUI window!

How to get the blending mode to carry over to the next comp.

Hey all.
I have a project going that involves several comps, and one of those comps involves setting the transfer mode of some layers to add, in order to get rid of the black background. The problem is, when i drop this comp into another comp, the black is back, and I need to set the transfer mode again, which messes with the colors of all the other objects in the previous comp.
Is there a way to make sure that once a transfer mode is selected, that it stays that way even when the comp is dropped into another comp?

Well, no offense, but that's a rubbish workflow. If you need genuine transparency, then create it properly. It's as simple as that. Use Shift Channels, the Channel Combiner or any other effects to "unmultiply" your layers or rewire channels. Doesn't even matter whether you do it on your source layers or the combined result of your additively blended layers - whichever works best to give the desired look.

Does anyone know what could be the causes? Or possible solutions?

Hi,
If the stack overflow is occurring there would be a coredump file created. Evaluate the coredump file.
If the issue is only while running the report then increasing SERVER_THREAD_STACK_SIZE in NQSConfig.INI will work.
If the issue causing during start up of services then OBI_BACKGROUND_STACK_SIZE needs to be set in opmn.xml.

The current Domain Controller is the Operations Master. To Transfer the Operations Master to a different Domain
Controller, you need to target Active Directory Schema to that Domain Controller.

The Exception Handler gave all the info that you need. No need to print the whole stack trace.
The exception handler says

As web-weaver alluded to previously, the -2-2-2 is the mark of Lightroom renaming a file to resolve a filename conflict. - in a nutsell: if it needs to write a file, but the name is already taken (a file of that name already exists in the folder) it appends -2 (yes, it may be -3 or -4 too depending - but I shan't explain all here).
For the record, I never want Lightroom to append a -1, -2, -3 ... to *any* of my files, be they catalog, photo, or export... This feature is for people who use computers without understanding about files, or folders, or disks... - which is cool, but in my case, any time Lr is doing that it's the wrong thing to do.
i.e. if there is a filename conflict - I want to be involved in resolving it.
Worth noting: there are 2 things that can happen in Lightroom:
1. Proper automatic resolution of legitimate filenaming conflicts (by appending -digit uniqueness suffix).
2. Improper automatic resolution of un-real filenaming conflicts due to Lightroom bugs/confusion. e.g. renaming a file will sometimes add the suffix even though there is no filename conflict.
Bottom line: If images are unlinking themselves and renaming themselves (and you didn't do it, inadvertently outside Lightroom, or in...), then there is a bug in Lightroom. If that is the case, then such bug may very well have been set off by some anomaly in your computer/file-system/catalog... - worth considering that.
If this is a bug in Lightroom, consider reporting it via the link below, along with as much info as you can about how it happened, how to reproduce...

I can help you for the future. Regularly back up your computer to an external hard drive (or cloud alternative). If you have your library backed up, it could be reinstalled on your new computer. In your current situation, you will have to reload all of your CDs as syncing of non-iTunes purchased music is only one way (Computer to iPod)

Do not directly put the username in your query, you query should be something similar to:
select abc, bcd, user_code FROM TABLE
WHERE (USER_CODE = :LoggedInUser)
then create a bind variable "LoggedInUser" of type String with value type as expression and value as (adf.context.securityContext.userName)

I will get right if my current date is 20 or more. If it happens to be less than 10, then I get in negative.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

Therefore, I have TimeMachine that saves me all the old (and heavy) versions of all my apps.
Ho can I get TimeMachine to save only the current (last) version of the apps stored on my internal HD?

I ment, I have the lastest versions of my apps on my internal HD, but TimeMachine (on an external HD, obviously) saves ALL the versions of them (the older and bulkier ones too, which take space for nothing)...
I'd like to know if I can tell TimeMachine to save only the latest versions of the apps (and not the older ones...)
