Getting things to stick together

I am trying to create a very basic game using Flash MX. In
essence, it is a catching game. Objects fall from the sky and there
is a slider at the bottom which catches these objects. When the
objects are caught, they must stay on the slider, therefore making
it an easier target. I want the caught fallen objects to
essentially become part of the slider and so if another falling
object lands on one already caught, it will also be caught. The
part I am struggling with is making the objects 'stick' to the
slider and then act with the slider. I would be very greatful for
any help on how to do this.

ALV Grid with rows sticked together

Hi,
Is there any chance to get two <b>rows</b> of an ALV grid sticked together.
This means if the user selects the first row, the second one is automatically selected too. On the other hand, selecting the second row should select the first too.
This also applies if the users deletes one of the two rows.
Using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY btw. and grouping is not useful in this case.

I am not sure if that could be done dynamically however what can be done is when he selects some row and tries to process an event you can check whether the other row is ticked and then pop up a message asking the user the other row will also be selected does he want to proceed with his event of deletion.
So for eg..

Thanks for the info, this really helps.
Power up the AirPort Extreme for a few minutes, then hold in the reset button on the back of the Extreme for 10 seconds and release. Allow a full minute for the Extreme to restart to a slow, blinking amber light.
It might be possible to use wireless to configure the Extreme, but I recommend using a wired connection. Temporarily, connect an Ethernet cable from your Mac to one of the LAN <-> ports on the Extreme.
Click the AirPort icon at the top of the Mac's screen and wait a few seconds for a listing of New AirPort Base Station to appear. Just below that, click on AirPort Extreme.
The illustration below shows an AirPort Express. You will see AirPort Extreme on your screen.
AirPort Setup will open up automatically and take a minute to analyze the network, then announce that the Extreme will be configured to extend the Time Capsule network.
Enter a device name that you want to use for the Extreme and click Next
Wait a minute while AirPort Setup configures things for you. When you see the message of Setup Complete, click Done.
You can disconnect the Ethernet cable that you used for the set up now. Things should be working. The Extreme is providing additional wireless coverage the the Ethernet ports are enabled. You can connect to any port that you want since they all operate the same in this type of setup.

Qosmio X770-n404 How to get illumination to stick ON in Bios?

Just received a brand new Qosmio X770-n404 from toshiba last week
The lighted keyboard words fine when turn on
However when turned off, and illumination set in BIOS to on, it wont stay on after windows starts
I go back to Bios and it says illumination off
How can i get illumination to stick ON off in bios?
(im talking the illumintion option, not keyboard back light)

ok thats what i thought its supposed to do
so let me restate clearly, what my problem is:
first i go to bios, i sent illumination to ON
then of course i hit the SAVE option to store the settings
i exit and the laptop reboots
now, as soon as the laptop starts, the media buttons and the red strip above the mouse pad are illuminated
the laptop continues to boot, after i enter my password and the windows desktop begins to open, the lights cut off
The only way i can cut them back on at this point is to hit Fn-Z to either turn them ON, or turn them on with the timer(which is not exactly the same as JUST having the illumination on)
i reboot back into bios, the illimunation option is turned OFF
i turn it back on
wash - rinse - repeat.....
So im wondering if i have a software or hardware problem. When i set the illumination to ON , shouldnt it STAY on? and not go off once i enter windows?

I just got a MBP Retina. At it's highest resolution, everything is tiny. The olny way to get things to a readable size is to lower the rez, but that defeats the purpose of having it. Am I missing something?

It doesn't defeat the purpose to lower the resolution. When you choose the size you can read, the extra pixels are used to make the text and graphics more detailed, closer to the high print resolution humans have been accustomed to reading on paper for hundreds of years. That is the difference compared to the coarse screen resolution of a conventional (non-Retina) screen.

Original and duplicate version stick together

I just duplicated a picture in Aperture 3 and wanted to move the duplicate in a diffrent project but both version stick together. If i move one, the other follows..
Does anybody have an idea how i can change this?

Back up all data before proceeding. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
Start up in Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Disk Utility.
In the Disk Utility window, select the icon of the startup volume from the list on the left. It will be nested below another disk icon, usually with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar. When prompted, enter the login password of a user authorized to unlock the volume, or the alternate decryption key that was generated when you activated FileVault.
Then, from the menu bar, select
File ▹ Turn Off Encryption
Enter the password again.
You can then restart as usual, if the system is working. Decryption will be completed in the background. It may take several hours, and during that time performance will be reduced.
If you can't turn off encryption in Disk Utility because the menu item is grayed out, you'll have to erase the volume and then restore the data from a backup. Select the Erase tab, and then select
Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
from the Format menu.
You can then quit to be returned to the main Recovery screen. Follow these instructions if you back up with Time Machine. If you use other backup software, follow its developer's instructions.
Don't erase the volume unless you have at least two complete, independent backups. One is not enough to be safe.

information and did it and it did not work. I did that BEFORE I found the info on going to the bottome of the page and making sure the little flag was a USA flag, which it already was.

There are several ways. The two easiest are to click the Junk icon to turn it off or right click the message and select Mart As-Not Junk.

You need to get iTunes to recognize it. If your iPhone is working, which it is not, then a new screen would help. But you iPhone is broken beyond just a new screen. I'm afraid that you can't sync content to an iOS device via Home Sharing (you can only stream it to an iOS device via Home Sharing).

How to get prefs to stick

For whatever reason, whenever I start up ID, the glyph palette is in the middle of the screen. I close it. Put my palettes where I want them. Save the file to the desk top. Reboot ID and there it is again and palettes all over the place. I know I'm having a brain freeze but how do you get changes to stick WITHOUT having to make a new workspace.
I should probably add that searching for 'preferences' returns 0 files when I do a search.

Try resetting the wokspace. But it also soounds like the current workspace XML file may be corrupt. You could try deleting any XML file in your workspaces folder that has the designation current included in its name.

OneDrive for Business not syncing, stuck at "We're getting things ready to sync..."

I had a Sharepoint library synced to my desktop for months and two days ago my computer had to suddenly reboot. When my comp restarted I had over 1,000 sync errors on files in my OneDrive for Business folder so instead of going through each individual sync
error I stopped syncing the folder, removed it from my local library list, and tried to resync the same Sharepoint library.
Now when I try to resync it gets stuck at "We're getting things ready to sync..."
Any suggestions?

According to your description, you had encountered a sign in issue for OneDrive.
You can clear OneDrive cache by following the steps :
1. Open the Task Manager and end every Office process (MSOSYNC.EXE, GROOVE.EXE and MSOUC.EXE).
2. Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the following locations and delete everything (files & folders):
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\Spw
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\OfficeFileCache
After you deleted everything, you should be able to start OneDrive again.
