GLPLUP: Excel-Upload for plan values in the special ledger

Hello,
got a problem with the upload function of plan values for special ledger.
I got the file in the right format, defined via transaction GLPLADM, but when i want to load that file, the values are not in the system. the system message displays the the file upload was OK, but there are no protocols and no data in the systems.
Any ideas, why it is not working?

Hi,
I did this in Cost Center Planning and it worked once i activated integrated planning and saved a template etc at the layout and on the desktop.

You'd be scheduling the document 150 different times, each for one value of the LOV.
You'd use the ReportEngine (REBean) SDK to read the LOV values, then use the Enterprise SDK to schedule.
Here's a bit of code that illustrates how to schedule a Webi doc a single time with specified prompts. You'd do something similar, but iterate the prompt setting and scheduling:

Add New value to the special reference indicator on the TO field

Can you please tell me how to add a new value to the special reference indicator dropdown which is on the transfer order.
LTAK->SPEZI ? Currently it is displaying values A & B in the drop down and want to add a new value to the indicator.

Hi,
I dont think you will be able to add more values to this field from configuration.
If you check the data element and domain associated with this field (LTAK_SPEZI) in SE11. You can see that the value range for the domain has been defined there as A and B only.
So if you want to add a new value you can ask and ABAP/technical consulatnt to add new values to this Domain.
However i am not sure it will be useful (unless you have a specific requirement and want to modify the standard programs) as the field is checked in different program (eg in inculde LL03AF4V , LL03AF7F ) against these fixed values A and B.

Mes# AA416:partial scrapping of asset with no value in the 0L ledger

Hi,
When I try to perform partial scrapping of an asset having no value in the 0L ledger (depreciation book) and some value TL ledger(tax book) with Tr Type 200, I get the error, "Retirement of old assets data not possible (No existing old assets data)" mes no AA416."
Can anybody please help me out with this issue.

Apologies for replying after such a log time!! I was on leave for last 3 weeks , so, could not proceed furthur. I checked in the system regarding the suggetion you provided. I am trying to execute partial scrapping by the transfer variant which is having the tr type 220. However, tr type 220 is not restricted to any dep area. But I am not able to post.
My query is: Should I create one more transaction tyepe similar to tr type 200, restrict it to the dep area 15 (as we need to partailly scrap the assets which are having 0 value in 0L ledger and some value in TL ledger) and one more transfer variant and assign the new tr type to this new transaction varaint?

Billing Plan values in the sales order

Hi,
After configuring the billing plan for processing in the order i am able to see the billing vlaues as per the values given in the billing plan type when I run the billing due list. Where as when I tried to create the billing document from the due list it is selecting the total value of the item. It is not copying the Billing plan value instead copying the total value of the item.
can any one help me

My issue is with the billing plan values are not getting copied into the F1 invoice. But when I run the order related billing due list I am able to see all the billing line items with values mentioned in the billing plan.

Embedd excel in browser, use excel interface for inputing values.

Embed excel sheet in browser and give application same functionality as excel sheet gives. We can use the excel sheet for input and able to update the values in database.

Help needed in SD VC Assigning Object Dep. for all values at the 1 time

I am successful in achieving pricing in VC the long way example: If Characteristic is Car_Color and values Blue, Red. I assign
$self.Z_CarPrice=u2019Redu2019 and it works. Z_CarPrice is basically the variant condition linkage with tables SDCOM and VKOND.
My question is how can I achieve the above by assigning it to the header so that it automatically enters the code $self into all values without me having to go into it 1 by 1 and assigning the codes? Or what is the best way in achieving the results?
If I have 3 characteristics ex: Car_Model, Car_Color, Car_Size? 100's of values?     4th characteristic is Z_CarPrice inside this I have entered all the Values from the 3 characteristics.

Create one variant table VT_BASE_PRICE with combinations of the char Z_COLOR,Z_MODEL and Z_SIZE as key fields
Table Structure
Z_Color
Z_Model
Z_Size
Z_Car_Price
Table Contents
Z_Color          Z_Model                         Z_Size          Z_Car_Price
RED          Honda          Big          BP_RED_HONDA_BIG
RED          Honda          Small          BP_RED_HONDA_SML
Maintain the table values with all possible combinations and for each combination enter a unique key under Z_car_Price column. Remember the variant key length Max is 26 and you can use any unique value which should give a meaning by looking at
Once maintained the table write a dependency
Table VT_BASE_PRICE
(Z_COLOR = Z_COLOR,
Z_MODEL = Z_MODEL,
Z_SIZE = Z_SIZE,
Z_CAR_PRICE = $self.Z_CAR_PRICE)
Thus for each combination no need to write the code to infer the variant key. It will automatically choose from table as per configuration values entered.For each variant key you need to maintain price in condition records for condition type.

How to set 0 for "Nan" Value in the Column

I have 3 imp columns with name Build %,Deploy%,Validation % and I would like to set the value as "0" or "1" using formula and below is the formula . But I am getting the values as "Nan" due to that it's reflecting the
Pivot Table & Report which show in below 2nd image.
And I had written formula as "=SWITCH(EDSCIMonthlyReport[Build %] , "Nan", 0)" to copy all the values of the Build % Field to another calculated Column and set the value "0" if found "Nan" ,But I am getting
error as"Function 'SWITCH' attempted to compare values of incompatible types. Ensure that both values are Numeric, String, or Boolean(True/False). Consider using the VALUE or FORMAT function to convert one of the values".Can any one help me how can

Again TFS? The data type of the column is "text" and now you want to convert it to a numeric to use it as a measure, right?
- First you have to change "NaN" to "0" (<= 0 as type "Text"!, see your error msg); you can do it with an IF expression
- Then you have to remove the % sign; it's a text as well. For this you can use the SUBSTITUE function
- Then you can convert it to a numeric using the VALUE function
As one complete expression it will look like this:
= VALUE(SUBSTITUTE(If(Tabelle3[Build] = "NaN"; "0"; Tabelle3[Build]); "%"; ""))
As you can see in below screenshot PowerPivot automatically detects the data type as "Decimal"; now you can use it as a measure value.

'No authorization' error for selection values outside the authorized range

Hi All,
We are currently trying to use the authorization analysis concept for 'Cost center reporting'.
We have made 0COSTCENTER info-object as authorization relevant and have created a analysis authorization object for it through RSECADMIN and we have maintained a single value as '1875' . We have assigned this object to 1 of the test users.
So now if the user runs the report for cost center '1875' , he is able to view the data/report. Now if he enters any other cost center apart from '1875' than he gets an authorization error (Everything works as per requirement till this point).
But now if the user enters multiple cost centers like 1875, 1876, 1877 as multiple single values and runs the report, he gets an 'No authorization error'.
So all the experts, please let me know if it's possible in anyway for the user to see the result/report for the value he is authorized to (in this case - 1875) and should give an information/warning/error message saying that he is not authorized to other cost center (in this case - 1876, 1877).
Same thing is occuring if user enters a range. Suppose a user is authorized for cost center - 1875 to 1880. Now if he puts multiple single values or range in between the authorized range than he can see the result but if he enters even 1 single value outside the range he gets an error - what I mean by this is - if the user enter a range from 1875 to 1801, he does not get any data display but instead he recieves an error message saying 'No authorization' even though he is authorized for all the cost centers in that range except 1801.
I would really appreciate your help regarding this. Any comments/suggestions are very welcome.

That is the way analysis authorizations work!!
If you ask for a number of values i.e. cost centers and you don't have authorization to *all* of them you will get a system error as you say.
There is no way of partially evaluating the query as you suggest (only for the authorized values).
Try to be less restrictive when defining characteristic values in RSECADMIN.
In queries use variables with
Processing by Authorization and Input Ready.
So the system will tell the user which are the allowed values. In your example the system suggests the range 1875-1880.

Don’t know if I am being paranoid here. But is there a way to search for a particular value in the entire set of tables in oracle.
For example I am having a part number called ‘AF2425-B12’ in my inventory table. Is there a way to find out all the tables which contains the value ‘AF2425-B12’ in any of the columns in my database?
