GPS Application exits during driving.

If I have an app like gps, how do I keep it from exiting while driving?

If you purchased an app that utilizes/requires GPS that crashes during use, you should be able to contact the app developer. A support link or a link to the developer's web site for the app should be provided with the app details and info via the iTunes app store.

Exception occuring during Application exit.Help needed fast

The Error attached is printed on the console when I exit my Application.My Application is Swing application which reads two or more xml schemas at a time from a local directory and displays the schemas in Tree like structure using JTree,so that mapping can be done using java drag-n-drop apis.
But during System.exit(1) (on Application Close) the exception Attached gets printed.I have invoked Syste.gc() to enforce garbage collection but to no effect.Please help to solve this problem.

Sorry it did not help.By the way i am using windows 2000 Server.Application Server is Weblogic 7.0.No exception is shown in the Weblogic console also.
There is no problem in drawing of maps.Drag-n-Drop is working perfectly.But during application exit this errors occuring.

Error during client copy in GRC 10.0 -Application exit

After installing GRC 10.0,as post installation activity ,
we are doing client copy (accordence with the sap note 1505255).
but we are getting 'Application Exit Error' when executing method FDT_BEFORE_EXPORT_C:

I have an ECC 6 system with DB2 database.I get an application Exit error while doing a client copy from 000 to 901.I could see all the tables where copied but the error comes in post processing stage.

I tried to delete the client and recreate it again.But still it gave the same error.I tried deleting the client gain.But the deletion job cancels .

GPS looses fix during navigation and freezes

With Ovi Maps I have this problem that the GPS looses fix during navigation, I suspect that the signal is lost during driving. But the phone does not find the GPS fix until I reboot the phone.
I got this error at the same time as the red gps signal indicator i Ovi Maps and now after the phone was upgraded at service station the error is shown even with green indicator.
If someone have experienced the same error is good to know. I have not tried to turn off network location with A-GPS and expects this to be the error, but why is the indicator red and not yellow for searching then.
When I use the phone only for logging as in Sports tracker there is no problem with the GPS.

Firstly I would try disabling "WiFi/Network" in "Positioning methods" as this was only recently introduced in Maps update and caused issues with Joikuspot until this application was modified, so worth a try!
Are you using latest Sports Tracker from OVI or the old Nokia Beta Labs version?
Really surprised "Google Maps" issues as their algorithm for using "Network GPS" quickly produces results.
As regards using LD-4W reception will be a lot better and as Bluetooth is wireless transmission should be no issues with positioning of receiver. With E72 I can make two Bluetooth connections for "Handsfree" & "Music streaming" but can't give you a definitive answer as to issues when two applications used concurrently; as in my case one would interrupt the other when needed.

Application exits after opening and closing two forms

During testing of a migrated application from 6.0 to 6i we found the following (webbased).
Expected behavior:
1 start application, startform opens;
2 select sub-application, startform sub-application opens;
3 select any form, form opens;
4 close form, startform sub-application returns
steps 3 to 4 can be performed many times.
Real behavior:
1 start application, startform opens;
2 select sub-application, startform sub-application opens;
3 select any form, form opens;
4 close form, main startform returns
(this means one level more is closed)
If we now performs steps 2 to 4 the entire application exits, more or less random during any of the 3 steps.
Can anyone explain why this is happening?

We use headstart version 50. We use the web version with a VMS db-server and a Tru-64 Unix IAS server. And we think that the latter one is part of the problem. Because all modules are ported to Unix a decision was made to use lowercase. Hence all references tot modules (forms, libraries, reports) should also be lowercase.
We are currently checking if this is the case.

I have developed a large stand-alone application to manage financial transaction.
this appz run over a Win NT 4.0 server 24h to 24h.
After some day the application exit (closing the GUI and returning to prompt in console) without Exceptions or bad behavior!
I think that's a problem of RAM but the Application
dont' throw the java.lang.OutOfMemoryExceptio...

I think that windows kill the java.exe process because use too RAM-space...
the level of RAM used always increase during execution...
now i try OptimizeIt for resolve memory leaks...

I've got a error msg when try to generate a report using Cisco history report tool:
Error | An Exceptional Error occurred. Application exiting. Check the log file for error 5022
It only happens when choose report template: ICD_Contact_Service_Queue_Activity_by_CSQ_en_us.
User tried samething on other PC, it working fine.
only on user' own PC and only choose this report, error appears.
user runing windows 7 and do not have crystal report installed
tried reinstalled the software, doesn't work.

I have completely uninstalled the HRC, and download from server install again -- still doesn't work with exactly same error.
this matter only happens on this PC, when user try same thing on other PC, it works.

SAP Provided me a note to implement to fix this issue. The note number is 1238616 but I need to understand how to reproduce this error in SandBox to implement this note and check if the problem will get fixed...
Currently my OSS is assigned to SAP (Live Cache team) to let me know the root cause for this problem and how to reproduce in lower environment (sandbox) to implement the note and check if the problem will get fixed.
As work around we are manually activating these errors in CIF queues that are getting clean.

How to track application exit event?

I have my swf embeded in Asp.Net. I want to track application exit event. Is there any event which is called when flex application exists or unload or destroyed? I tried application close event but it is not working. I do not want events of browser close or etc because I already tried it.

if you wanted to just close the window all together you could write some Javascript to close the window, then in your flex app call the function when they click the logout button
If you want to actually end it with Actionscript you could try:

Environment: Windos 2012 R2 Server,
PowerBuilder 12.6 Build 3506
Building 32 bit application
I've got a utility application that's running as a service. We're using NSSM (the Non-Sucking Service Manager) to run the program.
NSSM can take actions depending on the exit code.
In earlier versions of PowerBuilder I could accomplish this by setting Message.LongParm in the application close or application system error event.
Now, that's not working and the advice I'm seeing tends more toward

SUBROUTINE ExitProcess(ulong uExitCode) LIBRARY "kernel32.dll"
// Powerscript
ExitProcess(50)
But that seems like it terminates the application and any clean up that might have occurred with a normal application exit isn't going to happen.

Secondary concern.. where do I find the full 12.6 manuals? I keep ending up at SyBooks which only has documentation up to 12.0 and SAP PowerBuilder 12.6 – SAP Help Portal Page only gives me the new feature guide, installation and release notes, but not the actual documentation.

New to java.. What I need to develop GPS application for Blackberry

I was wondering what everything I needed to get started developing GPS applications for blackberrys.
It interest me a lot.. and I know C# and some VB. I am wanting to learn so getting a book would be good but just wondering what developer tools I needed to develop this kind of application. I currently have Visual Studio 2008 and I have seen a plug in for it.

AI File Causing Fatal Application Exit

I was initially getting error 147-1 after opening a large AI file in illustrator. I restarted as prompted and continued to get it. I restarted a few times and eventually the error subsided and the file opened.
However, when I go to save the file, an "illustrator.exe - fatal application exit" occurs. I am getting the following message:
'The specified module could not be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.0\VersionCueUI.DLL'
I have come to the forums because Adobe's chat and phone lines proved to be more frustrating than helpful. In fact, their advice after I refused to reinstall or start a new file was to 'go to the forums' because their troubleshooting guides do not support CS4...
Someone, please help me! I can take a huge step back and re-edit a previous version, but I'd be wasting hours of work. Fortunately, it only seems to be a corrupted file of sorts versus an application issue.
