GR Processing Time on Inbound Delivery

Hi,
I Have a Material with GR Processing time  which was carried to my PO Well.
When i Create a Confirmation for that PO and raised a Inbound Delivery against the PO.
Now my GR Processing time Changes to 1 automatically in PO.
Why?
If it is Correct can u Explain?
Tks/Rgds

Hi Prasobh,
I looked at the note 101262 and it seems that it is suggesting us to create a new Z report by copying existing report and then modify the WRITE Bloack in new report to display GR Time and Del. Time.
Is my understanding correct? If yes can you share with me the steps in some more details then mentioned in note 101262 that I need to follow for addressing this requirement.
If no can you suggest any solution that you know by which it is possible to include GR Time and Del. Time in CS11 output without Z development.

  • Batch with classification at the time of inbound delivery

    Dear all,
How do I create batch with classification at the of
    inbound delivery.
    Thanks in advance
    Mrinmoy Chakraborty

    Hi,
Go to SPRO > Logistics Execution > Shipping > Deliveries > Define Batch Creation Controls in Inbound Deliveries > Here select option 3 for the Item category of Inbound delivery (for e.g. ELN)
And during creation of Inbound Delivery (VL31N), under "Stock placement" Tab, select the line item and click on "Batch creation" on the down of the screen.
Define Batch Creation Controls in Inbound Deliveries: - You can use this activity to set controls for batch creation in the inbound delivery.
Define for each desired delivery item category how batch creation, batch classification or expiration date checks should be carried out in inbound deliveries. You can make the following settings:
    - There is no batch creation, no valuation of the class characteristics of the batch and no expiration date check.
    - Batch creation is possible in the inbound delivery, but there is no valuation of the class characteristics of the batch and no expiration date check.
    - Batch creation in the inbound delivery and valuation of class characteristics is possible, but there is no expiration date check.
    - Batch creation in the inbound delivery, valuation of class characteristics of the batch and the expiration date check are all possible.

  • What is inbound delivery? (Business process description required)

    Hallow Experts !
Can anybody please explain the business process for inbound delivery in brief? For what we process or configure inbound delivery?
    For example –
we create purchase order for ordering the material from vendor.
We post Goods Receipt for purchase order or without reference to purchase order.
Like that what is the requirement or what is the prerequisite for the Inbound delivery?
    Thanks in Advance !

  • Inbound delivery creation in STO via EDI/Idoc

    Hello experts,
    My requirement is like this:-
Stock transfer order is created for supplying plant 2000 & receiving plant 2010.
When the supplying plant 2000 posts an outbound delivery & PGI, at same time an Inbound delivery should be created in receiving plant 2010.
I know theoretically that this is achieved by making confirmation settings & output types. But don't know exactly how to configure it.
Can you please mention the process?
I have referred the scn threads:
Outbound Delivery to Inbound delivery by using IDOC
how to configure the message control for DESADV
    SAP note 111903
Receiving Vendor Confirmations via EDI - Purchasing (MM-PUR) - SAP Library
But there is lack of clarity from my side.

You do not need to use EDI messages to get an inbound delivery created when a PGI is done on the outbound delivery.
Search for the config on the SPED output type. This SPED output message can be triggered during the PGI which results in the creation of an inbound delivery in the receiving plant.
The receiving plant will have to maintain the confirmation control key 0004 at item level in the purchasing document.

  • Serial numbers in Inbound delivery for Handling units

    Hello Experts,
    I have the following scenario:
Purchase order + Inbound delivery + GR
Inbound delivery is used because I need to create handling units, the materials included in these handling units are serialized and I am getting from the vendor an excel document with Handling unit number and the serial numbers included in each handling unit.
So I would like to use this document to do the packing process in my inbound delivery instead of manually typing the serial numbers.
What would be the best option to do this?
I also need to do the same for MIGO when no HU are needed.
    Any Ideas??
Thanks a lot in advance for your comments.

Thanks a lot for your quick answer.
I would like to avoid creating my own Z transaction, is there any point in packing process where I can include some enhancement to upload the serial numbers, I gues the HU and packing process can be done manually by the user.
I was planning to enhance MIGO for the same process without handling units and I know that  there a tab can be added at item level. But I do not know where or how to do it while packing.
    Any suggestions?
Thanks a lot for your time!

  • GR vs INBOUND DELIVERY

    Hi experts,
what is the difference between GR and INBOUND DELIVERY ?
    please guide me in this

    Hi
The goods receipt process for inbound deliveries is an essential part of the supply chain. This process includes the steps after creation of the purchase order: notification, the inbound delivery, subsequent putaway of goods, and the goods receipt posting of the ordered goods.
The significant advantage of depicting the goods receipt process through the inbound delivery function is that you can execute many processes in advance, even before the actual goods receipt posting takes place. You have all the necessary information beforehand because the supplier notifies you of the inbound delivery ahead of time. The inbound delivery describes exactly which materials or pallets can be received on what date and at what time.
The following functions are available with the goods receipt process for inbound deliveries:
    Transfer order for inbound delivery
Like the outbound delivery, the inbound delivery is a request for putaway that is sent to the warehouse. You can create a transfer order for putaway from an inbound delivery.
    Batch information
The batch split that is already possible for outbound deliveries is also available for inbound deliveries, since batches are often first identified in the inbound delivery.
    Inventory management of packaging materials
    Goods receipt for inbound deliveries
Define order confirmation for inbound delivery
You can use this key to configure your settings such that planned inbound deliveries are automatically created through a collective processing run.
    Inbound delivery monitor
    Determination of goods receiving point
    Incompletion log
    Change documents
    Document flow for inbound delivery

  • Delivery date from PO not updated with inbound delivery (EDI) date

    Dear all,
The delivery date in the purchase order (as per my understanding) is the purchase order creation date + the planned delivery time.
We are using EDI and an inbound delivery gets created when the shipping notification is received from the vendor.
The real inbound delivery (EDI) date is usually different from the planned delivery date of the purchase order. But the problem is that the delivery date from the PO is not getting updated with the EDI delivery date.
Is it possible to have the delivery date from the PO updated with the real EDI delivery date?
I need this because I want to calculate planned delivery costs based on the EDI delivery date, and so far when I post the goods receipt (Price Date Category = "Delivery date" in the PO), the system is taking the price valid at the delivery date from the PO instead of taking the price valid at the delivery date of the EDI message.
    Thanks a lot,
    Annabelle R.

We have applied the note 793478 "Change of the pricing date in EXIT SAPLEINR 003".
In our process flow, an inbound delivery is created with reference to the PO, then the goods receipt is done with reference to this inbound delivery.
When the option 5 "Goods receipt date" is selected in the Conditions Control tab of the purchase order, now when the goods receipt is posted, the price is calculated based on the inbound delivery date, which is what we wanted.

  • GR to a Inbound Delivery

    Hi,
I performed a GR to a Inbound Delivery via Tcode MIGO, but nothing changed to the <u>inbound delivery </u>and I can only see the GR history in corresponding <u>Purchase Order</u>,  Why? How to solve the problem?
    Best Regards.

    Hi Alan
<b>Make absolutely sure that you do not mix up the goods receipt process for inbound delivery (for example, transaction VL32N) with the functions you already know, such as goods receipt (post) for unknown purchase order (transaction MBOA/MIGO), or cancellation of the goods receipt (transaction VL09 as opposed to MBST/MB0A). You must organize your tasks in such a way that the goods receipt posting is only executed using one of the two ways described.</b>
The system carries out the following activities when an inbound delivery is created:
Checks the order and materials to make sure an inbound delivery is possible
Determines the delivery quantity of an item
Calculates the weight and volume of the delivery
    Calculates work expenditure
Assigns a storage location for putaway
    Updates order processing
There are different way of creating Inbound deliveries , collective run , EDI or Manually .Most of the errors are seen in EDI processing , kindly let us know which process you are using .

  • Scheduling Agreement - Priority for GR Processing Time

    Dear Forum Members,
While defining Scheduling agreement for a material we can define the GR processing time and Planned Delivery time, likewise we
define in the material master also.
1.While running MRP which one has the higher priority?
2.After running MRP for the schedule line we are able to see only the delivery date,is there any setting to display the release date
or the start date based on the planned delivery time of the scheduling agreement?
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    S Mangalraj

    Hi Mangalraj,
    For your question:
1.While running MRP which one has the higher priority?
-->GR processing time MRP-run will take it from material master data
-->Planned delivery time, you can use t-code OMI8 to define the higher priority of SA or material master data
2.After running MRP for the schedule line we are able to see only the delivery date,is there any setting to display the release date or the start date based on the planned delivery time of the scheduling agreement?
-->Yes, in standard SAP system, you only can see the delivery date after MRP-run! As to the release date or the starte date which take planned delivery time of SA into account, it's only used to inform the buyer with purchasing transaction.
Hope my answers can help you!
    Good luck

  • Inbound DESADV doesn't pack inbound delivery

I'm using in inbound IDOC (basic type DESADV01 / message type DESADV) to create Inbound deliveries. This IDOC contains packing information in segment(s) E1EDP08. This packing information however is not processed; the resulting inbound delivery is not packed.
In the partner profile I used process code DESA to process the IDOC. This process code is linked to Function Module 'IDOC_INPUT_DESADV'. If I look in this FM all code regarding segment E1EDP08 is commented. That must be the reason why the inbound delivery is not packed. Does anybody know if there is any other standard SAP functionality to create inbound deliveries that are packed.
    Kind regards, Dick.

    Hi Dick,
just one additional hint as we had recently such problems :
It my happen that DESADV creates an inb.del <b>w/o</b> packing the HUs (idoc status is 'yellow' instead of 'red'). To avoid this OSS #912470 is the solution.
    Kind Regards

  • MIGO GR to Inbound Delivery Only

We have a requirement to perform GR wrt Inbound Delivery in MIGO.  We do not want users to also be able to post GR in MIGO wrt to PO if on inbound delivery.
We use confirmation control 0001 (AB and LA).  Currently within deliveries for same vendor some PO's allow posting wrt PO and some do not.  The only difference between the deliveries seems to be the type of external ID.  Only difference in PO's is document type although this difference is not consistent.
Is there some configuration in PO type or delivery that will accomplish this requirement?

    Inbound Delivery Creation
    Transactions:
    - VL31N, VL34, Idoc DESADV1 (standard cases)
    - MIGO, MB01, MB11:
with or without reference to a purchase order
only for HU managed or decentralized storage locations
inbound deliveries are created automatically (instead of posting GR)- VLMOVE:
without reference to a purchase order
not only for HU managed or decentralized storage locations
    - VL31W: creation via Internet
    - SPED Output (from replenishment delivery)
    - VL60: All-in-one transaction
    Conditions:
Processing VL31N, VL34, Idoc DESADV1 with respect to purchase order (item) if:
confirmation control key (EKPO-BSTAE) is set
no deletion or final delivery indicator is set (EKPO-LOEKZ/ELIKZ)
no return flag is set (EKPO-RETPO)
purchase order is released and completed (EKKO-FRGRL/MEMORY)
    purchase order can be locked
document category must be "purchase order" or "scheduling agreement" (EKKO-BSTYP)
    Differences Between VL31n and VL34:
    - VL31N: (processing the last inbound delivery in dialogue mode)
accepts only confirmation control keys with internal category "shipping notification" (T163D-IBTYP)
authority check is done with object 'M_BEST_'
    - VL34: (mass transaction, processing in background)
accepts confirmation control key only if automatic flag is set (T163L-AAGEN), but no special internal confirmation category "shipping notification" is needed
    no authority check is done
Further differences are described in OSS note 386409, that especially describes the quantities that are taken over.

  • Transfer order creation for inbound delivery

    Hi
I have a problem for put away at the time of inbound delivery.
i am doing a transfer order against an inbound delivery through the TCode LT0F.
I am confirming this TO through LT12, while i am confirming the TO the goods receipt is automatically created which is supposed not be.
I want to make the PGR from the inbound delivery.
is there any configuration to be changed for not to create the auto GR at the time of confirmation
    Sunil

    HI,
In LT12 transaction initial screen check weather in the control tab-->Adopt put away quantity filed value is "4" or not.
If it is maintained as $ while confirming the transfer order system will post the GR directly from LT12 transaction immediately after confirmation.
    Regards,
    Bharat
