Group creation

Hi Everyone ... Could any one help me creation of group. My requirement is I have two fields..
one is week, another is net sales for that week. I have to create a 'year1' , 'year 2' and 'year3' groups.
The first group 'year1' should have first 52 weeks and corresponding net sales.
The second group 'year2' should have next 52 weeks and corresponding net sales.
The third group 'year3' should have next 52 weeks and corresponding net sales.
After that I have to find average net sales in year1 and year 2 and year 3 and create a chart based on these average values.
year1, year2 and year3 are character string does need to be actual year values.
I am new to Crystal Reports, can some one help me please !! I am pulling data from BEx query.

Many thanks for your reply. I am able to convert the 'week.year' into date format, but I have to group first 52 records of this 'week.year' into 1 group, not by actual year.
e.g.: week.year ; Net sales
      39.2007 ;     $500
       40.2007 ;    $750 so on till
       37.2010 ;   $250
       38.2010 ;   $800
Now I have to find the average of first 52 weeks (39.2007 to 38.2008) and
                                               next 52 weeks(39.2008 to 38.2009) and
                                                next 52 weeks(39.2009 to 38.2010) and draw chart based on these average values.
           39.2007 to 38.2008 ; net sales average : $650
           39.2008 to 38.2009 ; net sales average:   $675
           39.2009 to 38.2010 ; net sales average:   $580
         and these week and year values will change every week, i.e. report runs 'from last week to 3 years ahead'

Supplier Group Creation Error in SRM 7.0

Hello,
We are on SRM 7.0, SP 9. When creating a root supplier group using tcode PPOCV_BBP in SRM, we are getting a "DATA_LENGTH_0", "CX_SY_RANGE_OUT_OF_BOUNDS" error in the program "SAPLRHOMDETAIL_PP01".
This error happens during the new supplier group creation process, when we change the default name of the vendor group with a custom name and try to save the new supplier group.
Please let me know if any one has come across this issue.

Automatic Profile Set / Target Group Creation in SAP CRM

Hi,
Need some help on the listed process.
Is there any procedure to create Profile Ser/Target group automatically based on certain criteria? We want to reduce the manual work of Profile/Target group creation for the users.
We are currently using SAP CRM 5.0 and looking at options of creating Target Groups automatically based on infoset. The criteria used to model is below mentioned.
- New Customers & Head Office (They are the customer specific Z-fields in BP Master Data)
- Relationship Data: Has contact person Relationship. This is based on the assignment of Contact person to the BP (i.e. Day when the Relationship assignment done to the respective BP Master Data --> under Relationship tab page.
We are not using Attribute Set (that we assign to Marketing Attribute tab page of BP Master), for your information.
Appreciate, if you could let us know whethe this is possible by Standard feature/ any work around on this.

Screen become blank during the Manual Target Group creation

Hi SAP,
In the Marketing Segmentation, there is an option to allow the manual Target Group creation. I have a list of 5000 BP and I upload it via "Import Business Partner". It is just 5krecords and the screen goes blank. We have tried several times and encountering the same thing which there is no enhancement applied. Any idea if there is limit on BP to be uploaded?

High Volume Segmentation is recommended for segmentation activities for more than 500.000 BPs. In your case Classic Segmentation fits perfectly.

Furthermore since the Import Business Partner functionality is not Java based this cannot be a Java problem.
Do you receive a dump in transaction "st22" after trying the import?

To Know the purchase group creation date, please ask your Basis team to check the all logs for the transaction code OME4.

Clustering model ..target group creation ...error

Hello All
After i created a Clustered model successfully i went ahead to create a CRM target group and as the last step in the process I selected the Training source of my Clustering Model ,right clicked it and clicked Monitor
The result shows that the CRM target group creation was incorrect.The following screeen shows the error screen.

ERROR in profit center group creation...

hai...i want to UPLOAD ALL THE LIST OF PROFIT CENTER DETAILS INTO SAP USING BDC SESSION METHOD..for that purpose i tried to create profit center using TCODE -KE51, but profit center group is not available in my system...i tried to create profit center group seperately using transaction KCH1 and assigned that number on profit center creation screen(KE51)..but i got the error..PROFIT CENTER GROUP 1 CANNOT BE USED HERE....how to solve this error.????may be is there any error in creation of profit center group hierarchy..???..

Thanks for the support, but I have already checked Ambiguity Check but there is no duplicae groups/profit centers are existed.
I tried the same through KCH2 and also path (profit center hierarchy maintenance), but the same error is existed. I have checked with different groups also. But any group it is throwing the same error.
Ex if i am giving group K123456 which is not existed. But the same error is throwing.
Can anybody please suggest is there any programe for correction ?

How we create target group on the basis of Net value and Product. which tables required for creation of Infoset.

Hi Manohar,
You can use below methods
1. Using BI query (BI Cube) :
Create a BI query for the sales orders with value field and BP GUID and create a data source using the BI cube with BP as BP GUID.
2. Using Marketing attribute:
Create a Marketing attribute as Sales Volume (for exp) and update this marketing attribute with the total value of the sales order + exsting value in the marketing attribute which gives the total cumilative value of the sales done so far by that particular BP.
To achieve this you may have use the breakpoint in the sales order and code for the updation of markeing attribute of sold party partner function BP.
Create a data souce using the above attribute set.
We have used 2nd method for our purpose.

Address Groups creation in 10.5 Server

Hi,
I use 192.168.2.x for the local network. I tried to create a network range in the Firewall's "Address Group" section but get an error message that this is an "Invalid IP address or range or group" but this is my enabled subnet in DHCP. I can on the other hand create individual entries per Mac, but this makes firewall service set cumbersome as I have to do it per machine.

Portal Groups Creation

Hi
We are preparing to import a Portal into our UAT environment for testing. As part of the creation of the Portal we have created a number of Portal Groups which we intend migrating. As part of this we will also like to create a ldif file to assign the various users to the relevant Portal Groups.
Therefore I have 2 questions
1) Is is possible to export the Portal as well as the Portal Groups ?
2) Is there a way to assign users to Portal Groups using, for example, LDIF. We will have 10,000 users to assign so need to find a way of doing this automatically.
Any help will be much appreciated?

I am not able to view my Graphical Modeler screen in my Webclient.I am getting a blank screen, but no error messages.
Is there any additional settings to make Graphical Modeler active ?

Is Java runtime installed in your system ?
The Graphical modeller in 2007 for creation of Target groups is a Java Applet.

Reg.Account group creation in for FS00

I try to create PR in our ides system all entries I done and after entering the sale order ask for GL account number,if I give the GL account which I created(in FP01) telling the same error 'GL account not yet created'. Let it be one side
In FS00 while creating the GL account If I select the account group which I created recently that is not come,how to bright to here at Account group in FS00.

Hi,
So In FS00 ,while creating the GL account you are not getting account group you created recently .Check your company code assigned to chat of account in t.code OB62 ( also check chart of account in t.code: OB13)and check in T.code: OBD4 , assignment of G/L account group, chart of account and its number ranges, If not assigned, assign it.
Now try creating G/L in FS00

Dear Thamizhchelvan,
I think you must be working in ECC 5.0 or ECC 6.0 version.
If so means first create a material say test using material type PROD - Product group in T Code MM01
and then assign the members in MC85/MC86 for the product group.
