Group Totals Not Calculating Correctly P6 7.0 SP 4.0

Hi there,
For no reason I can tell, my schedule has suddenly started showing Group Totals in my layout that do not add up correctly, although the activity durations are correct.
From past experience this is usually a calendar issue. I am using a Project Calendar, and the Hours per Time Period checkbox to use assigned calendar is ticked. I am using a 11hr / Day, 7 day a week calendar. Upon looking into the Global calendars, a 38hr week calendar is clicked as a default. Could this be causing the issue? I have done some calculations and it appears that some of the totals are being calculated on a 38hr week, but not in every case.
I know the Global calendar issue was a problem in V6.0 but I was under the impression that the Project Calendar would overide in v7.0. is this the case?
Is there something else I may be missing? The only major work that has been done recently is a colleague removed all the WBS Summary activities from the schedule.
Can anyone provide any way forward?

Please check T5UTI for tax type 89 unemployment note down the Employer ID. Then with the Employer ID go to the T5UTH table and check if there is an entry there. If not, can you please maintain the T5UTH table with an appropriate entry for Employer ID?

Then this means that you haven't overrided the UT experience rate for MN state for your company 'xxxx' in the appropriate dataset in BSI Server.
Please maintain the Company UT exp rate for NM state in the respective datasets and then run the payroll. This will solve the issue.
Kindly maintain the BTXRATE for it at SAP side as well as BSI Side also
Kindly maintain following in your Tax factory for your dataset --> Group Overrides >Choose your Employee Group > Maintain record for MN.

Calculating Average on a Pivot table- Not calculating correct

Hello All BI Techie's,
I have a requirrement, which is calculating the average out of a column , this column is aggreated by sum in the rpd.
Month Year      Associate Headcount      Involuntary Termination Count (Associates)
2012 / 07      18878.0      55
2012 / 08      18817.0      53
2012 / 09      18770.0      63
Grand Total      18770.0      17
Now, I want calculate a column which gives the average of Associate Headcount, ( 18878+18817+18770)/3 , how I can achieve that?
I tried, using avg(associate headcount), it not returning correct average, any insight?
Please share your ideas.

Thanks Srini, The tried your solution but still the problem exists.
I have created a new column, called Avg Headcount and entered condition in the column, I am using pivot table.

Eeven my Associate Headcount, pivots grand total was wrong, my instanceconfig.xml already setted to aggregate enabled.

Excel not calculating correctly.

Using OS 10.5 I am getting incorrect answers using Excel. Switching back to OS 10.4.10 corrects that problem. Since I make my living with my Mac spreadsheets I will curtail my use of OS 10.5. So far I have found no new item worth the change of Excel not working correctly. Numbers gives only about 1% of what I need so don't say to use Numbers instead. I've tried it & used a spreadsheet for a few weeks, but stopped because of how slow Numbers is plus I had to do a lot more work to get it to do a very simple job. This was a sheet set up new in Numbers, not one that started in Excel & was translated.
I've had some minor problems with OS 10.5 that something stopped working, but it was not any of my known running programs. I'm glad that I have OS 10.5 mounted on an external FW800 drive.
Has anyone else had trouble like I have with Excel or with another problem with some program looking like it works, but giving incorrect answers?

Just so I can give clients better advice, can you give a specific example of a calculation that works in Tiger, but fails in Leopard?

Grand Total not displaying correctly on Column level security.

Hi All,
I have implemented the Column level security for three columns. But in dashboard report. The grand total is not displaying correctly. The grand total values are still displayed for the hidden columns.
Is there any work around for this.
The sample how my report looks like after column level security is.
ColumnA Metric1 Metric2 Metrics3(to be hidden)
A 100 200
B 150 100
GrandTotal 250 300 400( this includes the value of A = 300, B = 100).

AD groups renamed - not resolving correctly in SP 2010

HI All,
a colleague changed a some AD groups and now they are not displayed correctly in SP 2010, rather picks up both names.
How do I solve this please?

Are you saying that the name changes were made prior to last weekend? If so then the answer to my query is Yes. Also Gary's post is about USER information, not group information. Unless you have added the AD group directly as a SharePoint
user then the post doesn't apply. If there were added as users then you will probably need a script like Gary's to manually clean them up in each site collection.

Totals not working correctly

I am trying to create a calculation by evaluating a set of records and including only those that meet the criteria in the total. The calculation seems to work correctly on the individual records, but the total does not... it seems to be doubling the result. Here's the calculation:

Is the report output displayed for all the records? Also, check if "Hide duplicate rows" is checked.

Grouped objects not saved correctly

I group objects (graphics and text), save the file, but when I open it again, grouped objects are moved, sometimes outside the slide. This seems to affect graphics dropped onto keynote, and only of they are grouped. Graphics & text produced inside keynote, using its graphing tools are displayed correctly.
Anyone sees the same behavior? More importantly, anyone has a fix?

I noticed that I can not change the precision on a column in one of my tablesProbably that's a FK column.
For the other problem - probably it's caused by merge conflict and you have in the file symbols <<<<<< >>>>>> and non valid XML elements. You can try to replace the content of the file manually using version from repository. There will be better processing of suche cases in next release.

Grand Total not coming correctly in Tabular report

When I extract in Answers the following information:
Dimension 1
Dimension 2
Dimension 3
Metric 1 (sum)(sum i defined in RPD)
Metric 2 (count distinct)(count is defined in RPD)
When doing this, I get the right result for every value of the dimension, but the total of the summation metric is not correct in tabular report
Can someone help me, please?

Add this <ReportAggregateEnabled>true</ReportAggregateEnabled> somewhere inside your <ServerInstance> and </ServerInstance>
on instance config and restart the presentation services.

JEXS not calculating correctly

Hi Gurus,
IN MM pricing i have defined sub total 1 and given JEXS condition to caluclate the tax on the sub total 1,but it is calulating on the whole amount,i.e value after those also considering for tax calculation.
Why the system is not calulating fromn the step i have defined,
In TAXINN against BASB 362 is defined

Time TOTAL not calculated

Dear gurus,
I'm new at BPC version NW, and I'm with a problem with Total at dimension Time.
When I create a new input schedule with EVDRE(), with time in column, per ex., the values are not totalized to TOTAL.2010, however if I put 2010.Q1 values are totalized to this one.
Is there anything i'm doing wrong?

First, I would request you to post this question in the NW forum to get better respose rate,
Secondly, coming back to the issue, the time parents are calculated based on the ISBEGINNING. Please check in the apshell, whether you are facing the same challenge. Dont make any changes to the standard time dimension and check.

Active Directory Sites + Boundary Groups + Database not showing correctly?

I am having a hard time trying to track down my issue but after digging for a bit, I think I have figured it out but I am unsure how to fix it.
Quick backstory, we had a domain controller go bad in this ADsite, the domain controller was also a DP at the time aswell and to fix our issues we dcpromo /forceremove it and cleaned up AD after. Created a new domain controller in
the ADsite, replicated everything across, everything is going as it should. SCCM on the other hand thinks I did something very wrong.
I'm not sure even how to explain but here goes. SCCM Console shows that the newly created distribution point that is running in the site where I ripped out the old domain controller and it is running well, the boundary is there, the DP is
tied to the boundary is it looks great. (

On the other hand, SCCM Database is not connecting the DP to the boundary. I am clueless on why this is happening. Because of this, it seems like no end users are getting any software. LocationServices on client machines show the computers are in the
proper site but SCCM does not seem to think the new DP is part of the site. (

The other 9 DPs have no issues, they are part of their respected sites, clients are getting all the software from the proper DPs and no issues.
I would gladly share some log files if they are of any value to anyone. I have looked through ads*.log and have not found anything that would tell me it has issues querying the ADsite.

Removal of the DC should be unrelated as they is no direct communication. Deleting the boundary/group and re-add them.

Exchange Rate amount is not calculating correctly in iProcurement

The exchange rate is mismatching when i create a requisition in the iProcurement (11.5.10.2 version).Please find the below test case and suggest me accrodingly.
Example: on 06-May-09 and 07-May-09 i have create a requisition in the iProcurement with the currency as BHD (Note: Our functional currency is USD). The exchange rate is defined from USD to BHD is .377 and this rate is fixed for the entire month.
The requisition created in the following manner:
Requisition created in 06-May-09:

Line #1 120 BHD---the exchange rate amount in USD is 318.22
Line#2 20BHD---the exchange rate amount in USD is 53.04

Total : 371.25
Requisition Created in 07-May-09:

Form the above test cases can any one help me why the requisition amount is slightly chagned from 371.25 to 371.35 even though we are using the same conversion rate (.377)..plz help ASAP , this is an very urgent for ME.

Tax Not Calculating Correctly

Hi experts.
I have noticed that sometimes, on some lines on a sales order, the tax is incorrect. For example the line total is 17.96 the tax at 20% should be 3.59 (3.592) but SAP makes it 3.60
This happens on most orders all the other lines are correct though.

Nested CASE Statements in my SELECT of Query not calculating correctly

Hi - Am doing simple query to calculate statistics on students per course, the WHERE includes a parameter for Academic Year, so need If Academic Year = x then calculate age in the 1st Sept of that Year, then count number of 19Yrs&Over. Have included my successful lines for sum of other data, in my CASE the calculations are not distinguishing whether age is over or under 19 just counting all. Presume is problem with Date calculation or CASE?? Runs without error..I'm guessing I can nest a CASE?!
