Grouping songs in this order

is it possible at all to group songs in order of artist, then by year each album was released? instead of artist, then albums in alphabetical order?
for example, instead of:
Van Halen -- 1984 -- 1984
Van Halen -- Van Halen -- 1978
The White Stripes -- Get Behind Me Satan -- 2005
The White Stripes -- White Blood Cells -- 2001
Im looking for

How can I change order of songs in a playlist from alphabetical. I'm using v. 10.7. In a previous version I could drag the songs into any order, but this doesn't work anymore.

The playlists in version 10.7 always put the songs in alphabetical order rather than the order in which I add them. With my older version I could re-order them by dragging them. With this one they just pop back into alphabetical.

It turns out that by clicking a little arrow to the left of "name" on the header, the titles can be unalphabetized.

Well as far as I can recall, I did nothing special at all when I synced my music to the iPad. I have very few downloaded/purchased songs on the device, but even the very few purchased songs that I have in the Music App are in alphabetical order. The only settings that can be changed on the iPad are in Settings>Music and I don't see anything in there that has any bearing in this. I have Group by Album Artist selected, but that doesn't change the alphabetical order if I toggle it off and on.

I ended up smashing my phone and could update all other stuff on restore but cant sync any music. It is all grey at the top of the screen. Ive re installed itunes and cleared all phone data. I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop. I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't. I went to the Apple store & they suggested I contact expresslane.apple.com for help. I submitted my problem, via email Friday, as they asked, but have not received any response. Any suggestions on how to get rid of these "phantoms?".

How can I gift a playlist, with the songs in the order I choose?

How can I gift a playlist, with the songs in the order I choose, to a bunch of other people? Since iTunes won't allow me to burn a song more than a few times to disc, and I have to share playlists with my cover band (so we can learn songs), I need the capability to do this.

Drag them from where? I've tried to drag them from windows explorer and it won't allow me. It seems the only place I can drag files from is from the iTunes library list. The problem is there is no way that I can find to just see the songs from a specific folder on my drive in the iTunes library list. It sorts them by artist, album, genre, etc....but not by folder.

There is some kind of organization that it's using, but I don't know what that organization is. It displays like fifty songs in alphabetical order (not songs by the same artist or on the same album or anything) but then when it gets to Z, the next fifty songs are shown organized in alphabetical order starting with A again. It's gotten very annoying, because it's incredibly difficult to find songs with no known organization. I tried looking through the "Settings" menu but there was nothing I could find that would help me take care of this.

I got it to reorganize alphabetically by resetting the iPod, but then when I synced it again, it went back to the way it was before, and resetting it didn't work. I tried resetting it while it was still plugged into the computer and that worked. So for now, the problem is solved. I'm just gonna post this so that if anyone else needs the solution to this, they can find this somewhat unreliable one, because I've been looking at other questions on this site and apparently nobody that asked a question about this has ever found a solution, so... yeah. If anyone knows a more permanent solution to this problem, though, please, please please let me know!!

You can maintain the complete delivery indicator in your Customer Master(Ship to Party ) record shipping tab(Partial deliveries).
As per SAP ,This indicator
Indicates whether a sales order must be delivered completely in a single delivery or whether the order can be partially delivered and completed over a number of deliveries.
There by it can form a Delivery group.

Different order of subgroups groups per configuration in order by clause

I have a question regarding Order by and group by of SQL. I have three tables, Groupconfig and ItemConfig and Items.
Group has a extra field which will specify the sorting order of the items when read out from the database.
I have the choice of Sorting by alpa description of the item or a sorting order defined on the item table.
But when I write some SQL to retrieve all the items in the items table and join to the item config table, to get the description of the item and the sorting number,
then join again to the groupconfig table to get the sorting of each group.
Problem is that when I run the query the data is not quite returned in the correct order in each group as defined in the group config for each group.
I know there are differences with the NLS_SORT variable in Oracle but I have a feeling that this is more to do with my SQL can someone help?
I require the overall groups to be retuned by group ID, and within each group a different ordering.

But when I run this second group is correct and ordered by Numeric sorting but the first group by the sorting number field is never correct.

Why are some of my songs not in order in my albums?

I was wondering why are some of my songs not in order in my albums? This wasn't a problem when I first used i-tunes, but I had to download a newer version of i-tunes to get my sister's ipod to work. For Example my album "AC DC Live" has track #3 Back in Black as the first song listed. How can this be fixed?

Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities. You don't mention how those songs got onto your playlist, but this article may address your issue, if they were imported from a third-party application or CD.

IPod Nano 6th Gen. How do I get it to play songs through my car in album order instead of each song in alphabetical order ?

Basically I've got a Volkswagen Passat which allows me to play an MP3 player through the radio system. I also own a iPod Nano (6th Generation) which I'm hoping to use in my car. Have just tried it now and it seems to just want to play my songs in alphabetical order instead of each album in order. Is this something I need to change on my iPod or in my car ?

It sounds like the settings may be set to play the same song over and over. Check out the chart on page 21 of this user guide and see if that is what is causing the issue:

Each of my playlists on ITunes has songs in a particular order. I can move them around as I wish. 1 playlist has all songs in alphabetical order

I have several playlists. I can place songs on any of the playlists and move them up or down so they are in a set order. I was trying to move one particluar playlist to my IPod Shuffle. In the process of doing so, the songs on this playlist converted to alphabetical order. I can't move them back to the order I had them and I'm frustrated. How do I reestablish control of this particular playlist so I can move the songs back into the order I had them? I can still move any song on my other playlostys, but not this one for some reason. Thank you for your help.

I found the answer ... You have to go to the upper most left column (above the numbers) and click to place an arrow there. That was the only playlist I didn't have an arrow showing. Once I did this, I could once again move the songs in the order I wanted.

Planner group field in Maintenance order

Hi,
When we create a General Maintenance Order, the planner group from Equipment/Functional Location, value, will automatically appear in the Order.
But in Refurbishment Order, which is for material, the planner group field do not come automatically.
Is there any option to maintain the planner group field in the Material master, so that, this can appear automatically in the Refurbishment order.
Kindly suggest.

The Material Master route you are looking for does not look feasible,as there is no relation between Planner Group and Material .
If your Refurbishment Order is triggered through a Notification (M4), then Planner Group automatically flows to Order.
The other alternative can be
1. Create a Z-Table having Material vs Planner Group.
2, Use the User-Exit IWO10018 to have default planner group INGPR value.
This works as I have already tested while replying to a discussion. Please go through this.work order completed by
and go through my reply having 6 steps. You need to work in the similar lines.
Take help of an ABAPer.

Select Program: (Goto Additional Data A click on Material Group 1 do F1 - technical details get program and screen no )

Click on the top of the Album column to sort the songs by Album order. If you have proper track numbers, this will also do a secondary sort by track number, thus putting the album in the correct order.
