%GT 'Document Currency Amount' takes care of automatic currency exchange?

We created a formula KF of %GT 'Document Currency Amount'.  Let's assume we've got two records: 1st record with US dollars, 2nd record with Canadian dollars, then the KF column would show the correct percentage number for the %GT 'Document Currency Amount'?  or in other words, the currency exchange would be automatically taken care of by the %GT 'Document Currency Amount'  when displaying the result?
Thanks!

I know this does not work with quantities (e.g., mix of LB and KG), so I assume it also does not work with currencies. If not, you will have to do the currency conversion on the Document Currency Amount first, then the %GT should be correct. To do this, I would suggest adding a new kf (e.g., "Document Currency Amount in USD") where the currency conversion is done on the Properties screen, then change your formula kf to %GT 'Document Currency Amount in USD'.
Hope this helps...

  • 2LIS_02_SCL extractor is delivering wrong document currency amount

    Dear all,
We are currently trying to get the invoiced amount of a purchase order in the document currency (of the invoice). While extracting the Purchasing Orders via the 2LIS_02_SCL we discover that the invoiced amount in document currency (BWGEOO) is wrong (if document currency is not matching local currency). However the invoiced amount in local currency (BWGEO) is correct.
It seems that the BWGEOO is calculated from the local currency field by using the PO header exchange rate (EKKO-WKURS). If we take the exchange rate (RBKP-KURSF) from the invoice header and apply it on the extracted invoiced amount in local currency, we get the correct value.
    - Does anyone have some information how the extractor is working (which source table is taken into account)?
    - Why is the local currency matching and the document currency not?
    - Do you have experienced the same issue? Do you have any solution for this problem?
    Thank you.
    Regards,

    Hi,
There are several Notes around this issue, but none of them is solving our problem:
    •     856004 Invoice value and GR value in extractor 2LIS_02_SCL
    •     838670 Net value for BWGEO and BWGEOO
    •     833209 BWGEO and BWGEOO values
The field BWGEOO is delivering a cost based value in document currency out of the PO. This means it is calculating it (quantity * net price). But we needed the actual invoiced amount out of FI.
We found a work-around for this “System Design” issue. We are going to extract the exchange rate out of the invoice header and apply it to the invoiced amount (REWERT) out of the 2LIS_02_SCL extractor.
    Logic to extract it is:
Join the “Document Header: Invoice Receipt” (RBKP) with the “Document Item: Incoming Invoice” (RSEG) on Invoice document number (BELNR) and Fiscal Year (GJAHR) key fields. Out of the Item table the purchase order document number (EBELN) and the PO item number (EBELP) can be derived. The exchange rates need to be loaded out of the header (KURSF).
Does anyone of you have additional documentation/information on how the LO extractors (e.g. 2LIS_02_SCL) are working and especially the details of the values (and the definition) out of the extractor?
    Thank you.

  • Amount in Local Currency is showing 0 if document currency having 124,50 dollars ?

    Hi,
I have an issue were the documents are posted using t code CJ88 for settlement between different company codes. In such case the document are posted in USD were the company code local currency is CAD. The document is displaying the local currnecy amount as 0 even when the document currency is 124,50 dollars. The document header part is showing the exchange rate but the system not considered any exchange rate.
I have checked the exchange rate as per the details in the document as Translation date. but system not considered it.
No where the exchange rate is given as 0.
I think while posting using CJ88 we cant modify the local currency amount.
The settlement rule is perfect nothing wrong in it.
    Please advice. Attached a scrrenshot.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello ,
Logically speaking ,if there is stock , then u should have the cost/price.
If u create a new material , & then the first stock is acquired via procurement , then u need not maintain the MAP/SP.
BUT , if u create a new material & need to upload some existing stock , u need to maintain the MAP/SP so that the system knows the valuation of the stock.
While doing a GR through  PO , the system picks the valuation form PO ( & also updates the material master MAP) , but for initial entry there is no reference & hence system takes the MAP from material master
    Hope this helps

  • F110-Automatic Selection of  vendor bank by document currency

We are currently on version 5.0 and have a situation where one company code wants to eliminate the manual input of partner bank type-field BVTYP into the invoice document.  The desired objective is to have the system automatically populate the field dependant on the currency in the document.  The vendor master has several bank accounts within the same country, but with different bank accounts depending on the currency to be paid. The field has been populated with a representative country designation followed by the currency type.  Payment grouping has been tried by creating a new type using the partner bank type.  We are not using payment requests at the current time. Optimization has been briefly investigated.
Does anyone know or have exposure on how to get the payment proposal to show the same vendor with the two different bank accounts that are paid from different partner bank types? Since this pertains to just one company code we don't want to create a customized program.
    Thank you for any suggestions.

Question for you-Within the banking details on the vendor, which bank is set up first? We  have run into a similar problem but it occurs when we have two USD or similar banks and one has details in the bank reference field and the other does not. The partner bank type is not selected in the document and the system will go to the first bank in the queque. The other think I can think about offhand is has some selected the currency as a field within the payment proposal to exclude?  This will exclude the currency you have indicated, but this doesn't sound like your issue. I have run accross this at another client in which they had the payment currency specified in the document as one thing and the actual document currency was something else.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.  Could you give me some details of how your vendor master is set up?  Are you using any bank chains?

  • Amount to draw from down payment is not set in document currency

    hi,
i always get the error "amount to draw from down payment is not set in document currency" when i try to update a draft of invoice with down payment.
    i do the following:
    1. sales order
    2. down payment
    3. income payment
    4. delivery note
    5. invoice
5.1 save as draft by di api
    5.2 get draft by key
5.3 do some changes, for example change comments by di api
5.4 update draft by diapi  <--- the error is thrown!
If i do this on screen everything works fine. But by sdk its not working.
    System: SAP 8.8 SP00 PL20
Is there a solution for this problem?
    best regards
    Markus

    Hi Markus,
What if you update the same draft from UI instead of by diapi? Do you still get error message?
    Thanks,

  • Amount in document currency & group currency is different

    dear all,
In my company i have been activated material ledger & parallel currency. I want to make sure is my setting is correct or not and i want give the example:
    <b>Material master data:</b>
    MAV material :
Company code currecny : 20000 IDR
    Group currency : 2 USD
    <b>Purchase Order (foreign currency)</b>
    PO currency : 2 USD
    Qty order : 10 PC
<b>Result of FI document on GR transaction(Exchange rate : 9000):</b>
    Document Currency
    Inventory 22,22 USD 200000 IDR
    GR/IR 20 USD 180000 IDR
    ML 2,22 USD 20000 IDR
    Group Currency
    Inventory 20 USD 200000 IDR
    GR/IR 20 USD 180000 IDR
    ML 20000 IDR
My assumption, calculate to get amount inventory in document currency & group currency is different,
    Document currency:
    <u>Previous MAV (IDR) * Qty GR</u>
    Current Exchange rate
    Group Currency :
Previous MAV (USD) * Qty GR
My question is it correct, amount in document currency & group currency is different. If not correct there is other config to setting that.
    Thanks for your help..

see if you have maintain the PO in the some other currency and your local currency is different from the Po currency  and if you have maintain in the excahnge rate for the same then the system will calculate the price in both currency and yoy can choose <b>1SAP Amount in document and local currency</b>  and if you want to display in the group currency  then maintain the exchange rate and  craete the layout and save that you can display in that cureency while you do the invoice  the system will show the accounting documents in that way on chossing the correct layout.

  • Zero amount in document currency

    Hi,
I'm looking for if I could fill a zero amount in WRBTR field, in document currency.
My customer would like to fill a zero amount in GBP currency in company with a local currency in EUR. So he would like to entry a zero amount in document currency and 0.01 EUR in amount in local currency. But when I try to fill the zero amount, SAP change  the amount with 0.01. Thus it's not correct for him.
May I change the customizing to force SAP and accept my value ?
    Thank for any helps.
    Gilles.

    Hi ,
You can post by this way. And the postings in f-05 will be in the manner as shown below-
                                      Doc curr(GBP)          Company currency(EUR)
    GL Acct Dr                  00                               0.01
    GL Acc Cr.                   00                              0.01
I had already done this in one scenario , where due to wrong exchange rate difference had arisen. Do this with the help of F-05. Please note here that DR here is equal to credit for both currency, what you are doing is overwriting the exchange rate.
I hope now I have made clear how you need to post the entry in detail. If any query please revert back.
    Thanks

  • Display Financial Statement (S_ALR_87012284) in document currency amount

I would like to display financial statement in document currency amount. (T-CD:S_ALR_87012284)
Does anyone know how to do this?
I don't want to use the special evaluation tab of that T-CD, as it is requested to specify
rate and Key date for translation.  I just want to display the amount in document currency.

    Hi Ramanuja,
I meant that for the fiscal year 2009 G/L accounts don't have any values in SAP.
In this Company SAP has been installed in 2010 and in Financial Statements I'd like to obtain the comparison with the values of 2009.
    What to do?
    Thanks

  • Commited Spend Amount / Quantity in Document Currency

    Hi
The Transformation (ASA TF for PO Integration: 0ASA_DS01 -> ODSO 0ASA_DS09)  loads the following Key Figure in PO Detail Layer
    0XSASPNACOM Committed Spend Amount
    0XSASPNQCOM  Committed Spend Quantity
But the PO Detail Layer does not load the same in Document Currency as a result the Committed Spend Amount (Document) and  (Local) are not showing any result in the SPM UI reports
Please let me know if we have missed any thing which is preventing the loading.
    regards

    Hi Malathai,
    0XSASPNACOM Committed Spend Amount
    0XSASPNQCOM Committed Spend Quantity
Are the global values i.e. whatever you have defined as your global currency during the data loading. These fields will be populated with the spend amount from your invoice amount where the invoices have a corresponding PO in the PO DSO.
There are two more key figures
    0XSASPNACOT
    0XSASPNQCOT
That are (presumably) for capturing the committed spend amounts and quantities in the transaction value.
If you examine the expert routine you describe, you will note that these aren't actually being populated here.
You may wish to code these in yourself and/or raise an OSS message if they are required.
    Kind regards
    Neil

  • Amount in document currency and amount local currency in F-65

    hi everybody
im doing a functional spec whereby we are getting a text file which contains data for tcode F-65

they want the data uploaded to appear on the screen i.e.

and not that document amount 5000 is uploaded and the local amount is calculated by SAP

  • GR/IR amount Diffrences between MIRO and MIGO for Document currency

    Dear Friends,
I have one issue in MIRO Document posting, I will explain the issue by below steps.
    1. I have created Purchase Order with option "Exchange rate fixed" and my PO Exchange rate is 1.8700
    Purchase order details
Quantity - 2, Price - 23,376.85 and Total PO value - 46,753.70 EUR ( Document currency), local currency is SGD
    2. We posted Single Goods Receipts entry for the above PO and system took exchange rate from PO (1.87)
GR Accounting document value - 46753.70
    3. We have create two invoice documents for the above single Goods Receipts.
First invoice posted with correct value and accounting entries are below
    Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
    Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 2272.23 SGD
    Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
    4. Problem in Second invoice posting only, Refer below accounting entries
    Debit - GRIR Clearing account - 29,221. 06 EUR - 43,714.71 SGD
    Debit - Material account - 0.00 EUR - 4219.52 SGD
    Credit - Vendor account - 23, 376.85 EUR - 45,986.94 SGD
    Credit - Material account - 5844.21 EUR - 0.00 SGD
Now my questions is why system posted extra one credit line item with value 5844.21 EUR for second invoice, I tried to simulate this same situation again. but I couldnt get this extra line item for credit.
    Please advice and guide me.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    M.Ganesan

    Hi,
Both Invoice header details Exchange rate is followed by Exchange rate table. But it did conversion based on PO Exchange rate.
We didn't maintain Exchange rate type EURO for the currency EUR to SGD.
Normally system will post the exchange differences in local currency not in Document currency.
    Thanks & Best Regards,
    M.Ganesan

Currency is EUR customer master data.
I created the qoutation. Quotation' s document currency is EUR. It is ok.
After I created sales order with reference the qoutation.
    My request is ;
The sales order document currency must be always ILS (local currency)
Is it possible aoutomatically? (user exit ...?)

  • Sales order document currency

    Dear All
I have an issue , when i create sales order, the document currency is GBP(POND) for this customer
When i create condition record in  USD , for same its allowing to create , this creates problem in billing
Is their any configuration settings that it should not allow to save the order if document currency is diffrent
and condition record created from difrent currency,
IF DOCUMENT CURRENCY OF SALES ORDER IS GBP, WHEN I CRREATE CONDITION RECORD FOR PRICING IN VK11 WITH CURRENCY USD TIS ALLOWING TO CREATE, ANY WAY TO STOP THIS
    Regards
    jahangir

    Hi Jahangir,
One way to take care of this even though VK11 created with different currency is
in V/06 for condition type detail, in control data2 choose Currency conv.
which will take care of converson from condition recrod to Document currency below is the help detail FYR
    Indicator: Currency Translation after Multiplication
Controls the currency conversion where the currency in the condition record varies with the document currency.
    Use
To calculate a condition value in a document, the system multiplies the amount that results from the condition record by the item quantity. This indicator controls whether the system carries out currency conversion before or after the multiplication takes place.
    Procedure
If you mark the field, the system converts the condition value into the document currency after multiplication. If you leave the field blank, the system converts the condition value into the document currency before multiplication.

  • S_ALR_87012178 to display with document currency

    Hi Expert,
I tried to run report S_ALR_87012178 and always got the result with local currency, while I want the result with document currency.
I see another thread that sap note 769338 will help. I tried and it does work.
Is there anyone who has the experience of using this report.
Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.
    Chih-Ming

    Hi
    regarding report on trx S_ALR_87012178:
when you choose the input parameter
    "Summarization level (0-6)"  : '6'
program RFDOPR10 will automatically set the other parameters as follows:
    "OI sorted list sorting(1,2)": '1'
    "OI list summarization(0-2)" : '1'.
Consequently it is not possible to only display foreign currency items when using summarization level 6.
The reason why the program works as it does is the following:
when you display foreign currency items it is always necessary to also display the currency.
Without the currency information the OI total would just not make much sense. Summarization level 6, however,
forces the output of the data in only one line.
Since only 132 characters can be printed in one line there is not enough space for additional output of the currency.
Thus it is technically just not possible to also display the currency.
The combination of "summarization level" 6 and "OI sorted list sorting" 2 therefore is technically impossible.
If you want to see the document currency please use summarization level 1.
Please also take a look at note 769226 for more details on this issue.
    Kind Regards
