GTM & GTS

Hello,
So far what I´ve read regarding GTM (Global Trade Management) only new functionalities have been releases and no migration is needed but what about GTS (Global Trade Services) Does this component need a migration as soon as ECC 6.0 is in place?
I also know that GTM can live without GTS but of course both could give a powerfull functionality.
Kind Regards

Hi David
I recommend you to check the corresponding installation/ upgrade guides. You find them in the SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/instguides.

  • Limited usage of GTS

    Hi,
I know SAP Business-All-In-One pre-configured scenario for GTS.
I also did have a look at related Customizing documentation.
But I still question myself about the relevancy to my challenge of linking SD Sales with MM Purchasing.
    My requirement is quite simple.
For domestic (no international trade) public contracts we are involved in I need to:
    1. set up price conditions, volumes and validity dates/periods for contracted materials by sold-to-party
    2. set up price conditions, volumes and validity dates/periods for contracted materials with (multiple) vendors
    3. automate the execution of sales order intake (assignement to contract, ordering with vendor, delivery confirmation, invocing and customer billing)
    4. perform periodical consolidated contract review on both sell and buy side.
Of course all interesting functional pieces of this process can be found in SD and MM but nothing is available to streamline the process and to make it lean.
Would you see GTS helpful here at a reasonable implementation price?
Or maybe should I go for Abap coding and some paper output reports?

    Hi Dave,
Thanks for recalling the key features of GTS.
I am not specifically keen on reports but I need to make the whole SD and MM stuff working in a more lean manner.
Today I can only set up separate contacts in SD and MM.
Each of those can be analysed on tis own in terms of history of order calls.
But processing orders is still "classical".
Ideally I would like not only trigger a PPreq out of sales order item (direct delivery) but even directly a PO.
It would also be nice to have a single and common view of SD and MM contracts in terms of history, target quantity and value, remaining "to be produced".
It seems to me that GTS (or rather GTM?, SAP is so confusing with all those marketing novelties...) provides some features of this kind.
Remember that I am in a public contract and the contracting parties are binded not only by price agreement but also by the quantity to be ordered and delivered. Hence contract reviews, whether quarterly or annually, are key managing milestones where the parties agree how to make sure the contract will be executed as signed.

  • GTS - Pricing - Retail

I'm looking for documentation about the pricing of GTS. A detailed document which is telling the process step by step under "SPRO IMG - SAP Global Trade Management - Pricing - Retail" will be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Yasar,
I was looking for some help/documentation on GTM and not GTS.
If you have any or found any, please update me.

  • Controlling aspects of GTM

    Hi,
I would like to know the Controlling aspects of GTM (Global Trade Management).
Would be nice if anyone can throw some light in this regard
    Best Regards

    Hi
What actually you means by controling aspects  , GTM is totally different from GTS , GTM is stands in middle of at of SAP SD/MM developed with trading functionalities on it. So basically it comes under Logistics domain.
GTM is an add on  R/3 or ECC
The Key process of GTM include:
         The domestic Sales
     The domestic sales with receipt to warehouse
         The foreign Sales
The Trading process consists of following stages:
         Enquiry
         Trading Contract
         Delivery
         Settlement
Probably you woul dlik eto place your question in different forum .

  • Issue in Transfer of Billing document to GTS

    Hi Experts,
I have a question on the transfer of billing documents and the creation of customs declaration. All the documents are struck in the ECC queue and not transferred automatically to GTS system. The problem is that when I manually push them in SM58 it is procesing immediately but the program RSARFCEX is not picking the entries and posting them. Also there are lots of errored entried in the SM58 for this destination.
    Kindly help me.
    Regards,
    Vijay V

This issue is resolved. This was due to the large error entries in the SM58 for the specific destination. We have reorganised the trfc queues and now it works perfectly.
    Regards,
    Vijay V

  • No master data transmitted from ERP to GTS

We are using ERP 4.70 with the following settings:
    SAP_APPL 470 SP-Level 0031
    PI 2004_1_470 SP-Level 0016
    PI_BASIS 2005_1_620 SP-Level 0017
    SLL_PI 720_470 SP-Level 0007
    together with SAP GTS 7.2 SP-Level 09
I created the message types /SAPSLL/DEBMAS_SLL and /SAPSLL/MATMAS_SLL manually and activated them.
I try to send an customer master data to GTS but the partner will not transmitted. In the log protocoll in GTS the error message appears that there was no data collected from table SAPSLL/TCOGVA
If I try to send a material master from ERP to GTS the RFC connection gets broken with error message:
RFC error (The transaction has dumped the connection). What I had found out is, that the error appears in the function /SAPSLL/API_1006_SYNCH_MASS.
Has this something to do maybe with a wrong IDOC type? Does I have to to something in some tables. Do I use the wrong programme? I use /SAPSLL/MATMAS_DISTRIBUTE_R3 and /SAPSLL/DEBMAS_DISTRIBUTE_R3.
I made absolutely the same customizing settings in another system at a customer and it worked fine there.
Does anybody has an idea? Thanks to all for the possible help.
    Thanks very much in advance

    Hi Andreas,
there are several possibilities why this is not working.
First of all you should check, if your RFC settings are correctly maintained.
Please bear in mind that the logical systems have to be assigned to logical system groups and that GTS and R/ shall not be in teh same group.
Please also ensure that the logical system name is the same in both systems, R/3 and GTS.
Secondly there is also the possibilites that necessary tables are not filled correctly.
    Please run report /SAPSLL/PLUGIN_CHECK_R3
It could be thate.g. the tables TBD24 and TBD62 are not filled
for the relevant message type (in your case /SAPSLL/DEBMAS_SLL and /SAPSLL/MATMAS_SL)
To update this tables corretly pls. do the following:
    - BD53
    - select message type (/SAPSLL/MATMAS_SLL)and edit it
    - select a segment
    - save
    - deselect segment again
    - activate
    - set in trx BD60 the FM to the correct value
      (/SAPSLL/MATMAS_DISTRIBUTE_R3)
You can than check with the programm: '/SAPSLL/PLUGIN_CHECK_R3' if
all 4 required tables (TBD24, TBD62, TBDA2, TBDME) are filled, or not.
I hope this helps with the issue.

  • Unable to display customs document in SAP GTS

    Hello,
I am using SAP GTS 7.2 Compliance services. SPL and Embargo services are working well (I am not using License determination).
Indeed, when I save a sales order in ERP, it is effectively checked for compliance, as I receive a message when it is blocked by GTS..
In GTS, I can check that concerning business partners are effectively blocked, using:
"Display Blocked Business Partners" and "Display Business Partners with Embargo Situation".
But I cannot display any customs document in SAP GTS, using transaction /SAPSLL/CUHD_DISPLAY (Display all documents) or SAPSLL/CON_BLOCKED_DOCS_EXP (Display blocked documents).
I get the following error message "No data was found for the selection criteria specified".
As I understood, SAP GTS performs the compliance checks not on ERP documents but on corresponding GTS customs document. Thus I guess they are effectively created somewhere! If it was not the case, I guess the process should not work.
When I look in the audit trail of SPL for documents, I can see all the SPL checks that have been performed. Looking in the corresponding table "/SAPSLL/SPLAUD", I can even find the numbers of the different customs documents...
But there is nothing in table "/SAPSLL/CUHD", where they should be copied... The only entries I found concern biling documents that were transferred for customs purposes...
Could you please help me on this matter?
    Many thanks,

    Hi Sameer,
Thank you for your fast answer. I checked in the debug mode creating a breakpoint at statement RFC and it effectively stops at RFC /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH.
But when I check the log in transaction SLG1, nothing appears concerning /SAPSLL/API_6800_SYNCH.
I think the customs document is effectively created in GTS as I can see it has a number assigned in the audit trail for SPL screening. And compliance services work.
Though when going through the transaction of displaying all documents in GTS there is nothing. Table "/SAPSLL/CUHD" is empty (except some billing documents that were transferred for customs purposes).
This is really weird... Anyway, thank you for your help.
    Kind Regards,

@sir - Works fine with proprietary driver.  Power supply is plenty large for this card.  It works fine under xfce.  The only features for the NVC0 series (this is an NVC3) that isn't the same as the others is "decode videos" which I took to mean VDPAU.  All other relevant features are the same as the NV50 series.

  • K7T266 Pro R and Geforce 2 GTS problem

Hello everyone. I have been experiencing a problem for some time now regarding lockups and crashes caused by my video card, which vary in severity depending on the driver version used. Since I'm using an MSI K7T266 Pro Raid mobo (version 1) I thought I'd post my question here.
The exact problem depends on the driver version. Using any Nvidia Detonator drivers at version 40 or newer, my system becomes extremely unstable. On first booting everything seems fine, however if I try to open my Geforce display properties the Windows freezes during the redraw of the display properties window, which goes blank. Sometimes I can call up Close Programs Dialog, which shows DDHELP in the list, and [not responding]. I've never actually gotten an error message from DDHELP or any other error message -- perhaps the computer jams too hard for Windows to get one up. I've seen reports around the Net about DDHELP problems from things like DirectX 8.1, but they're never quite like my problem. The problem is identical on DirectX 8.0, 8.1, and on 9.0.
No matter what I try to do in Windows with these drivers installed, the computer will lock up in seconds. For example, if I then open IE 5.5, I might be able to get as far as a page or two before the similar thing happens: during the window redraw the computer locks up (usually with a blank or partially-redrawn window), sometimes causing the mouse to lock and sometimes not, and then if I can get the Close Program Dialog open DDHELP has appeared and is Not Responding.
The most stable driver version I've found so far is 29.42, which does not cause the lockup above and never causes DDHELP to appear. However, it is quite unstable as well, and causes Windows to lock up sporadically during 2D window redraws in various programs. For example, when calling up a Save Document dialog or when opening a pulldown menu the program will lock either before any of the redraw becomes visible on screen or when the new dialog box is "skeletal", only partially drawn. Sometimes the crash is severe enough that I have to do a cold restart on my system.
The other problem is that sporadically garbage blocks will appear in portions of my screen, like old windows and color bands popping up that do not refresh. This often happens to me in Photoshop 6, and happens usually when I'm scrolling down a window or something.
These problems with version 29.42 all appear to be 2d window-drawing related. I do not have any problems with 3d games with 29.42. However, the new reference drivers are so unstable on my system that I can't even try to open them.
With 29.42, the most stable drivers I've found so far, some kind of lockup due to redrawing windows almost always occurs within an hour (sometimes minutes) of booting up.
For what it's worth, dxdiag tests just fine.
I was hoping someone could help me figure out what's causing the trouble, what driver I should use, and how to resolve it. If possible, I'd really like to use the newer drivers as I've been told they're much faster. In any event, I hate having such an unstable system where lockups could occur at any moment!
Here's the lowdown of my system:

Thanks, I realized after posting this was the incorrect forum. I've put it in the VIA Socket A boards area, and also am trying the Via Arena forums.
Are you talking about my mainboard or graphics card memory?
Here's what I've got set under Advanced Chipset:
    Configue SDRAM timing by: SPD
    SDRAM Frequency: HCLK
    SDRAM CAS# Latency: 2.5
    SDRAM Bank Interleave: disabled
    SDRAM 1T command: enabled
    AGP mode: 4x
    AGP comp driving: auto
    Manual AGP comp. driving: CB
    AGP Fast Write: enabled
    AGP Read Synchronization: disabled
    AGP aperture size: 128 mb
Do any of these settings seem problematic to you?
    Thanks.

Thanks, I realized after posting this was the incorrect forum. I've put it in the VIA Socket A boards area, and also am trying the Via Arena forums.
Are you talking about my mainboard or graphics card memory?
Here's what I've got set under Advanced Chipset:
    Configue SDRAM timing by: SPD
    SDRAM Frequency: HCLK
    SDRAM CAS# Latency: 2.5
    SDRAM Bank Interleave: disabled
    SDRAM 1T command: enabled
    AGP mode: 4x
    AGP comp driving: auto
    Manual AGP comp. driving: CB
    AGP Fast Write: enabled
    AGP Read Synchronization: disabled
    AGP aperture size: 128 mb
Do any of these settings seem problematic to you?

  • Master Data transfer from SAP R/3 to SAP GTS

    HI,
Master data like customer master  is transferred  fro R/3 to GTS.  Any customer master in R/3 has many fields like company code, sales area, shipping conditions etc.
Shipping conditions and other fields are not defined in GTS. So how come  when the customer master which is copied into SAP GTS is not  giving any error since certain fields like shipping conditions are not there in GTS. I mean there are certain validation in R/3 for a customer . So how come these validations are being done in SAP GTS ??
    regards

Customer/vendor the fields which is passed to GTS from ECC can be found in - (/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGAL - SAP Compliance Management (SPL Screening) - Logistics (Simulation of SPL - Check general address). Here you can see all the details captured for Business Partner in GTS. You can also see the entire field range at (/nbp)
When you transfer a Customer master record to GTS, in GTS an internal BP number is created to map the stated fields based on number range logic etc as per requirement. The BP's are created in GTS as per the partner role in GTS and also can be retrived using partner role. At document level the validations happen w.r.t to partner functions mapped and created as per the feeder system.

  • Error during the replication of inbound delivery document to GTS

    Hi
While trying to transfer an inbound delivery from the feeder system to the GTS system, I am getting the following error, eventhough the customs document type TRLOIM is assigned to the Feeder sys doc type EL, at application level MM0B in customs management. The inbound delivery document has been maintained with the Prev Doc Type T1 & Prem Doc No in the Foreign trade Data
Customs document type cannot be determined for external document type
    Message no. /SAPSLL/API_INBOUND020
    Thanks & Regards
    Ram

    Hi Ram,
Please use OSS note1238850  to fix the issue, this error comes as your doc type EL is not getting transferred when you are sending I/B delivery.
    Hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Sameer

  • Link between GTM and FSCM (sales or purchase order hedging)

    Hi all,
I am trying for a few days to have SAP GTM working (I am in an IDES ECC6 system, and as far as I know in EhP4 version). The main goal in fact is to test the currency hedging, and therefore to the link GTM and FSCM, either single-sided purchase or sales order, or two-sided . The flow I want is the following :
    -     I buy or sell a product, in GTM, through a trading contract which generates a purchase or sales order.
    -     Automatically a currency hedge is generated to cover the risk, in FSCM, I guess in exposure management.
    -     And then the financial products (derivatives) are generated as well.
No problem to create the trading contract, no problem to generate the sales or purchase order. But in spite of the (very little) customizing I found in u201CSAP GTM => currency hedgesu201D, and some in FSCM, in u201Ctreasury and risk managementu201D, no way to have this link between GTM and FSCM, no additional document is generated like a Forward Exchange Transaction (I guess I should have this, and then a risk exposure in FSCM).
Would you have an idea ? Is this customizing, or an additional Business Functions or Extension Set not activated ? SAP says : u201Cit worksu201D, but canu2019t find the way.
Thank you very much for your help, I am quite looking for this link for a few days now u2026
    Best regards
    Patrick

    Yes Mr Ashish!
As far as iam concern there is no link between Project & Customer Master, you have to link it with SALES order, I had check in XD03,XD01, the complete customer master, i didnt find any field in customer master which links with Project.
I'll let you know if i find any links.
    Regards,
    ANSAR
