Why is this and how can I make it stop?Your mail site usually will set a cookie. So in order for the site to recognize you after you exit and restart Firefox, these things have to be true:
* You are not vising your mail site in a private window
* You didn't change Firefox's default setting of accepting persistent cookies from all servers (first party and third party)
* You do not have Firefox set to clear cookies at shutdown
* You have not installed any add-ons that clear cookies
* You do not have any external cleaning/security/privacy software that clears Firefox cookies
If you're not sure about your cookie settings, check out the Privacy panel of the Options dialog:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
If you have "Firefox will: remember history" then cookies are accepted and retained.
If you have "Firefox will: use custom settings for history" you can check your cookie settings below that line.
If you have "Firefox will: never remember history" then you are going to be using full time private browsing and cookies are discarded between sessions.
If cookie settings are okay, and you would like advice on your extensions, it would be helpful if you could post a list of them. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using either:
* Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the upper left corner, click the Copy text to clipboard button, then paste into a reply.
After previewing, you will see there is some extra information below the list of extensions that you can edit out if you like. -

Why do i have to pair my bluetooth head phones every time I want to use them?
Every time I want to use my Philips Bluetooth head phones, I have to unpair them and then pair them again. They say connected in blue tooth settings, but no audio is coming through. Worked flawlessly with my RAZR Maxx. This is something I use a lot, and may make this phone a return.
Yikes, I know how important it is to have the bluetooth working with out any issues, jwennrn. Are you still trying to use the bluetooth with the Droid Razr Maxx or with a different phone? Was there any new updates or applications that were downloaded when you noticed this problem started? Please keep us posted. I'm eager to work with you to get this working again.

I recently created a new folder on my MacBook, dragged some items into it, and found that the entire contents of my desktop appeared to be in the folder as well. This happens every time I make a new folder. Any suggestions?
Csound1 What Ive been trying to explain is that I have been running bootcamp, I open the app where the first screen is the introduction, i hit continue, the first time I select "download the latest windows support software fromm Apple" then I return and instead select "Install Windows 7." Then hit continue. The third screen is where I "Create a Partition for Windows" I set Windows to 80 gigs then hit INSTALL. As stated before Bootcamp cannot find the install drivers saying "The installer disc could not be found." My windows software is on a USB drive not a disc, I tried using a virtual disc reader to make it appear that the windows software was running on a disc, still no luck. What I would like to know is how to install windows on bootcamp.

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

Everytime I try Photoshop I have to enter my serial number--not so with the other apps--how can I avoid this? The window says "Your Trial Has Expired" and asks me to join Creative Cloud which I don't want to do! So I click on "License this software" and enter the serial number and go to Photoshop--but every time??????????
Close out all Applications (Adobe and non-Adobe … probably since Adobe ties into everything via Acrobat)
Navigate to: C:\Program Files X (86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\
Rename the “cache” directory to “cache-backup” (or anything else not “cache”)
Start Photoshop CS6
Click on “License This Software“ and enter your serial number -

It is an extension to protect the profile with a password, but being an extension that protection can easily be bypassed by starting Firefox in [[Safe mode]].<br />
So do not rely on it.<br />
If you want to protect content then you have to use methods supported by the OS like a separate user account with a password or an encrypted file system. -
I have multiple users on my Mac and I was wondering how you tell the system to retain all the user names so they don't have to enter their email addresses every time ???
Email addresses into what?
Each user should have their own account and password to log in. Each is independent of the other. So for Mail each has their own Mail account if they set one up in Mail.
That's the way it should be set up. Are you using a single account and allowing multiple users to use that one single account? If so then in Mail at least you could set up individual mail accounts. But everything else in the system is shared. -
I have Lightroom 3 and have installed it on my Retina iMac running Yosemite. It will not show me any of the modules..error when attempting to change modules.. and keeps asking for my serial number every time. Is it compatible?

I installed mavericks today and the mail will not open and just keeps on not responding how do I get it back I have force quit it a number of times now
Open the system menu via Alt+Space or click the Firefox icon on the title bar and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.

My ATV will no longer stay connected to my home WiFi network. Every single time I want to use it I need to set up WiFi from scratch all over again. I'm considering dumping it as my Roku box has no issues. I'm an Apple loyalist though and want the ATV for playing my large music collection.
Any suggestions?It's a 1G ATV, 160Gig.
The wireless is an Access Point w/WPA encryption and all DHCP is done by a remote wired router in a closet. Resetting each has had no effect on it. I don't see a setting anywhere on my ATV that I can change to turn off periodic standby mode.
I actually replaced an Airport Extreme w/ this D Link AP & it's worked great for every other device. I had the exact same issue with the Airport Extreme although it seems like after the latest ATV SW upgrade, it does it every day. Previously it would only do it occasionally.
