Handling delivery costs conditions in PO

Hi,
I need the suggestion and help on one of the issues related with the delivery cost type of conditions in PO.
We have couple of header conditions which have been defined as delivery cost conditions in m/06.
We enter these conditions at the time of PO creation. Then GR is done wrt to the PO.The idea is that all these conditions are to be loaded on material at the time of GR(Vendor GR is ticked as 2)
Somtimes it happens that user realizes that he has made mistake in PO in delivery costs and want to change them. Thus he cancels the GR.
However, once GR is cancelled he is not able to make any changes in the PO conditions being delivery costs.
SAP does not allow it.
But I want to make changes in the header conditions since they were wrongly entered.
What is the way out for this.I have not found any solution for this.
I can make these conditions as freight conditions(checking the freight tick for the conditions instead of delivery cost)and it allows me to change them even after GR is done or cancelled.
However at the time of MIRO I can not have them so that becomes problem.
Request you to suggest me the solution for this.
Thanks in advance
Regards,
manOO

Hi Rajesh,
Thanks for the valuable feedback.
I went through the notes but as usual I found them confusing.
Anyways, what is the alternative in this case because I need to add the conditions as delivery costs while creation of PO as header condition and it's likely that rarely I may require to delete/change /add them after GR/Cancellation before Invoice posting.
Why can not I change the delivery costs after GR or cancellation is not yet understood by me.
One side of the coin I could understand that that it may lead to imbalance if invoice is also posted but what if invoice is not posted and user wants to correct his mistake which he realizes after GR has done.
Any suggesttionyou would like to make her to solve the issue ?
Thanks in advance

  • Delivery cost condition type in PO coming as display mode

    Hi Experts,
In my Purchase order having delivery cost condition types, for ex freight.  For this PO i have done Goods receipt. PO all the delivery costs are showing in display mode. i have reversed the Good receipt.Again also all the delivery costs are showing grey mode in PO.
I want to make as editable for this PO after reversal of GR. Kindly do the nedful.

    HI makarand  ,
the condition type you have created is this assigend in Item Level or Header level. Plz check this in Header and item Conditions Tab. If you can assigned Delivery cost condition type in item level than it will changed by item level itself.
In Header Level it displays in Display Mode.

  • PO delivery cost conditions

    Hi,
    There are 2 requirements.
Firstly, we need to maintain delivery cost conditions like freight, customs duty, etc...at the header level of PO. But, it should be editable at the line item level also.
Secondly, is it possible to default these conditions with value automatically when creating PO. I know this can be done for item level conditions using access sequence. But, I do not know whether it is possible for the header level conditions.
I have searched a lot on these because this requirement may be there in most of the places, but unable to find.
    Request your help, please.
    Regards,
    Siva

    Siva,
    1. For your first case, you can maintain the condition type both Header and Item condition in the condition type itself. (in M/06)
    2. For your second question, you cannot maintain access sequence for Header conditions but you can try the following option. In user parameters EVO you can copy the old PO price so that in the new Purchase Order, the PO price will flow from old POs. But one thing is that you need to be carful with EVO. because, whatever PO user is creating, it will copy the old po price. If that price is not required, user need to delete those condition types from that PO. Else GR will have wrong values.
    Hope this helps.

  • Delivery cost condition types in ECC

We are going for Ext clasic scenario where SRM POs will be transferred to backend. How to have delivery cost condition types in SRM which will also appear in ECC POs? In SRM condition types, condition category does not have delivery cost option , like ECC.
I created the same condition type in SRM as in back end, and marked it as statistical in the 0100 pricing procedure, but it does not appear in backend PO , although the pricing procedure in backend has the same condition type as a delivery cost condition.

    Hi
<u>You can create custom fileds in the Local SRM POs by using SAP OSS Note 672960 and 485891.</u>
<u>Map the data from SRM system to back-end ECC system using BADIs -></u>

  • Handling delivery cost for Assets

    Hi Friends,
Can we have delivery cost in POs of Assets. How to handle these ?
    Regards
    Sai Krishna

    HI,
Normally in asset procurement, the delivery of asset shall be handled by Third party transporter on freight to pay basis. In this case, you create a condition type by copying the existing condition type like FRA1 for freight ( delivery cost) and include the same in condition tab in PO and create a vendor master and assign the same by selecting the condition type of freight in details.
Now the freight will be captured and payment can be made to the freight vendor.

  • Delivery costs:Conditioning GR according to shipment cost document

    Hello all,
In case I want the delivery costs to come from the shipment cost document, I have to use the correct confirmation control key and the correct condition type in the PO.
Also, I need to have a relevant shipment cost document so that the system will know from where to take the costs.
    My question is this:
Is there a way to customize the system so that if no such relevant shipment cost document exists,
I won't be able to perform GR?
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Dikla

    Hi Gaurav,
             what exactly your requirement?
plz specify why you want to relate both the doc's-
    for what purpose?
    Gavrav,
    I have  checked  Table:VFKP
goto VFKP- enter shipment cost no: XXXXXXXXX
check the details: External Id1  is nothing but your shipment doc number.
Bcoz u create shipment cost doc wrt shipment doc number.
this shipment doc will store in "External ID1" filed in shipment cost doc item level - VFKP table.

  • Vendor invoice for sales order delivery cost condition type

    Dear SAP guru,
We have a scenario where we have added certain delivery cost in the sales order as condition type. There will be an accrual posting out of this condition type. We have defined the vendor code in the condition record.
The question is how to generate an invoice on this vendor with reference to Sales order, as there will not be any purchase order for the delivery cost.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rama

did you already apply note 1585042
    Symptom
You create a Sales Order with multiple third-party items.  The system
automatically generates an MM Purchase Requisition with multiple line
items.  Each of these line items can have a different fixed vendor
    (field EBAN-FLIEF).
In the Customizing transaction VOV7, the Sales Item Category (usually
TAS for Third Party) has the field ALEKZ 'Create PO Automatically'
selected.  Therefore, one or multiple follow-on Purchase Orders will
also be created from the Requisition data during the same Sales Order
creation workflow.  The system creates a separate Purchase Order for
each fixed vendor (supplier) found among the Requisition items.
During this ALE PO creation, if one of the Requisition items fails to
successfully create a PO, the next relevant PO created may have an
incorrect vendor in its header.  The vendor in the PO header may not
match the fixed vendor that was designated in the Requisition line item.
    Solution
Implement the attached code corrections.   After this correction,
regardless of whether one of the Requisition items fails to generate a
PO, any PO that is successfully created during the process will have the
    correct assigned vendor.

  • Error during MIGO-Error during maint. of delivery costs in master condition

    Hi
We are getting error as below during MIGO against a PO with doc type NB:
"Error during maint. of delivery costs in master conditions, Delivery cost conditions in different validity periods not identical"
    What might be cause??
    Thanks
    Maruthi

Check the delivery conditions in condition tab of PO.
Try to check if there are any delivery condition records mainatined.
I think the problem is mostly due to overlapping validity period. Try to change the validity period for the same.

  • Invoice Verification for Conditions, e.g. Freight Delivery Cost

PO was created with conditions, i.e. freight.
    Example:  100 items & 2 USD = 200 USD (Main Product)
    + Freight                                     50
    Total Cost                                  250
    Goods are receipted as follows:
    1) Main Product 10 items @ 2 USD = 20
        Freight 10/100*50                           5
        Total GR Accrual                          25
    2) Main Product 20 items @ 2 USD = 40
        Freight 20/100*50                          10
        Total GR Accrual                          50
Upon Invoice Verfiication (MIRO), following are the results.
    Main Product
    Item 10 @ 2 = 20
    Item 20 @ 2 =40
MIRO booking for main product is itemized. This is correct.
    However for freight,
    Freight
    Item 30 @ 2 = 60
MIRO booking for Freight is sum-up instead of being itemised. Is this a SAP standard funtionality. We prefer an itemised booking of freight also.
    Appreciate your reply.
    Thanks
    Robert

    HI,
The system sums up the planned delivery costs at MIRO stage.
I would guess that you are using the "GR based IV" flag on the PO and that is why you are getting a line per GR for the actual items themselves. But this flag does not affect the delivery cost conditions and so I am sorry but they will always be a total rather than separate lines.
This is not ideal fro your situation but that is the way it works and to change this would be a MAJOR modification and definitely NOT worth the effort and risk.

  • Planned delivery cost for the scheduling agreement

    Hi Experts
    1. I have an requirement to post Invoice ver. for the Planned delivery cost (freight, customs duty,CVD etc) against the Scheduling Agreement just like Import Purchases with checking off the GR Based IV Indicator before doing the GR
I tried it but its giving me that no delivery costs are Planned in the Scheduling agreements it runs fine in case of the PO because PO is a time independent.  Please inform how to post the same for schedule agreement with time dependent indicator on. I tried switching off the time dependent indicator and the system allowed, but my requirement is to Post I.V for the delivery cost with the time dependent indicator on.
Appreciate if you can suggest something in this case Urgently .
    2. Aother issue is we have some uploaded Scheduling agreement from legacy system with Time dependent conditions. For this we need to post planned delivery cost in Miro. Since the system is not allowing to post, how to about for this. Shall we enter the delivery cost in unplanned delivery cost in Miro and post.  Please suggest if any alternate solution is available.
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi,
As you know if the delivery cost document is not posted during GR the
delivery cost is not proposed during invoice (MIRO). Planned delivery
cost will be proposed in invoice only when there are records in EKBZ
table. The EKBZ table will be updated when delivery cost is posted
    during GR itself.
Please ensure in the PO itself thatr the conditions have been defined
properly with the relevant amounts and values.
During GR when planned delivery cost conditions are present in PO,
system checks for values in amount field. Then only appropriate
calculations will be done for delivery cost and planned delivery cost
document will posted during GR and hence updates EKBZ table.
Solution to this issue is described in below steps,
    1) reverse the invoice document
    2) reverse GR document.
    3) You have to give values in amount field in relevant conditions ZGDS
       in the PO.
If you face any issues changing the values, delete above conditions
and put it again manually and give values in amount field also.
    4) Post GR once again, delivery cost document will also be posted.
You can check it in PO history.
    5) During invoice select Item + planned delivery cost and post the
invoice. If you need planned delivery cost to be posted separately,
then you can post individual invoice for item and delivery cost.
Please note it is not possible to post delivery costs for documents with
    multiple accountassignments.
For your second question, I am afraid I can not answer. Please open a new ntry in the forum, so that someone else can answer it.
    Best Regards,
    Arminda Jack

    Hi,
    Check the following things
    1. Make sure manual entry is allowed for Delivery Costs Condition
    2. Make sure PO is not yet processed or no subsequent documents exists for the PO so that you can manually edit the PO using ME22N.

  • Delivery Costs Entries(BEWTP = F/G/I/M) related to PO in EKBE

    Hello..
I am new to MM and i have been checking the values of BEWTP field in EKBE.
I could see the following values related to Delivery Costs.
    BEWTP = F / G / I / M
Can any one tell me what does each stands for and How can i get an entry in EKBE for each of the above type?
    any help/input is really appreciated.
    Thanks,
    lt

    Hi,
The description for the PO history category can be found from table T163B.
The delivery cost related PO history will be updated in EKBZ table, not in EKBE.
The PO history category depends on the condition category used against the delivery cost condition type.
    1. If the condition category is B (Delivery Cost)  for the delivery cost condition type (in M/06), then the delivery cost history will be updated as below:
    During GR (EKBZ-VGABE =1),, EKBZ - BEWTP = F
    During IR (EKBZ-VGABE =2),  EKBZ - BEWTP = M and or EKBZ - BWTYP = K , if its account assigned PO.
    2. If the condition category is blank or F (Delivery Cost) for the delivery cost condition type (in M/06), then the delivery cost history will be updated as below:
    During GR (EKBZ-VGABE =1), EKBZ - BEWTP = C
During IR (EKBZ-VGABE =2),  no entry in EKBZ

  • No delivery costs exist for PO

    hi,
during miro, i click on planned delivery cost indicator and got the error message as above.
may i know how to know the PO has no delivery cost?
    1) is it from purchase in record?
    2) or is it from condition type? if from condition tab how to know there is no delivery cost condition type?
    thanks
    rgds

Under the conditions control tab, you need to check off Print price and then on the item detail line, check "Free"
This will give you a soft error to proceed.

  • Automatic settlement of delivery costs MRDC for service PO

    Hi,
We configured a custom condition type ZCOM (Commission). This condition was assigned to pricing procedure RM0000. This condition is defined as a delivery cost condition with accrual.
    PO for non-inventory material:
    - Free text item for 10 EA @ $100/EA
    - ZCOM condition added at the item level for 10% ($100). Vendor in this condition is different that PO vendor.
    - GR for 1 EA
    - PO history shows: GR (101) for 1 EA with total value $100. It also shows DCGR for 1 EA in the delivery cost quantity and value $10.
Run automatic delivery cost settlement (MRDC): It created invoice for the freight vendor using the delivery cost amount of $10.  In PO history it shows: DCIn for 1 EA in delivery quantity field and amount of $10.
    PO for services:
    - Free text service for 10 EA @ $100/EA.
    - ZCOM condition added at the item level (not at the service level) for 10% (value $100).
    - Service entry sheet for 1 EA with value $100
    - PO history shows: SEnt for $100. GR (101) for $100. It also shows DCGR for 1 AU in the delivery cost quantity and amount of $10.
Run automatic delivery cost settlement (MRDC): It created invoice for the freight vendor NOT using the delivery cost amount of $10.  It created an invoice for the full line item amount of $100. PO history shows: DCIn for 1 AU in delivery quantity field and amount of $100. This is wrong. It should have created the invoice only for $10.
Any help on what is going on it is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards, Jose Oyon.

no, SAP does not know this kind of fixed conditions.
even a fixed condition is depended on the quantity, and adjusted to the GR quantity if it differs from PO quantity.

  • Not to Post Planned Delivery Cost in IV before MIGO

    Dear Experts,
We are maintaining the Delivery cost Condition values for different vendors in Purchase Order and we are selecting the GR Based IV check box. At the time of MIRO before making MIGO (Goods receipt) it will not allow to Post Incoming Invoice if I select Goods/Service items or both Goods/Service items & Planned Delivery Cost but it will allow if we select only Planned Delivery Cost to Post.
Kindly suggest us if anybody have the solution to restrict to Post the Planned Delivery cost before posting the Goods Receipt (MIGO).
    Thanks & regards,
    Dhanu

    Dear,
First u do the MIGO, After that post the Material IV with goods/service, after that u again do IV for planned delivery cost selection of Planned delivery cost.
    Thanks,
If this is helpful for u then reward me.
