Have been using laptop to put cds on ipad (icloud). Now when you touch the 'music' icon, it goes to a blank screen which had been showing playlists, artists, etc for approx 2000 songs I had already put on there. On another iPad they are still there, but this one is blank. Cannot find the songs!! The blank screen immediately goes back to home screen. What to do?? Thanks.

whenever you attempt to put a card on itunes it puts a temporary $1 authorization hold for 24 hours - 48 hours depending on your bank - since you attempted so many times that is why that $1 is showing up so often - are you using a debit card? because if you are then if even the authorization hold doesn't go through like it should it will show a "ghost" charge that will drop off soon - it isn't fraud though - make sure your billing address is correct - if that doesn't work contact itunes store at getsupport.apple.com - click itunes - itunes store and follow the prompts and you can chat or email them.

What happens when you try to download the new iPhoto and iMovie? Do you get any message and if so what is it? What do you mean by "theft of my iPhoto or iMovie"? Who do you think stole them?
One trick to try is to move the iPhoto and iMovie apps to the Trash in the Dock but don't empty as yet. Then go to the App Store and try to download the apps again.

Take a look around you here in this forum. Many people are talking about having problems using FaceTime. A few users claim to have contacted Apple and Apple says that they are aware of an issue with FaceTime and that they are working on it.

I just found out that if I restart the notebook and plug in the mouse it will work flawless for a few minutes, but then something recognizes it and it stops working. I am really fed up with Mac. It is always something. Safari quits unexpectedly everyother day and asks me to repert the problem, which never goes through. Safari's beachball also spins uncontrolably for hours until I press the button to force quit. It never allows me to collaborate my email with MAIL, and anytime I want to send an email it goes to an email that claims no valid password when that is clearly not the problem. My macpro got wet and I have been using my boyfriends macpro to charge my iphone over the weekend, his itunes is an early version of my itunes library. I have no music showing in my ipod on my iphone. When I plug it in to the macpro it shows my music, and an up to date show of all my playlists new music etc when I click on my iphone icon, how do I get it back? Can I back up and sync from his library? Can I just back up my phone on his library and restore from that, will I get an exact copy, new stuff and all back??

Sounds like the music you had on your phone was not the same music on his computer. The iPhone/iPod touch is not designed to be a storage device. When you sync with a computer that doesn't have your music, it deletes your music from your phone.
Was this music you purchased from iTunes? if so, and you are in the US, tap on itunes app, tap updates, tap purchased and tap on the cloud icon to get each song back. If you're not int he us, get iOS5 update later this week and do the same.
But you need to move your itunes library to his computer. Create a user account on his macbook pro for you. From your external drive backup, load your itunes library on it. Then sync as usual! (Don't tell me you don't have a backup for your computer!)
