Having issues agreeing to "iTunes Terms of Service & Privacy Policy"

Having issues agreeing to "iTunes Terms of Service & Privacy Policy" after upgrading to IOS 4.2.1. I had done this previously when it came out and am just now having this issue. I just want to agree to it but cannot find the menu buttons. I did not purchase my iPad (16g Wi-Fi) new. I just registered it w/ apple recently. I DO NOT KNOW anything about the previous owners.....I hope this isn't an jacked iPad or something. Any help or insight would rule.

    McAfee AntiVirus by any chance? See the thread Why does iTunes delete my itunesprefs.xml?
    Or it could be an issue with the SC Info folder. See TS1277 - iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization for details.
    Or a repair install of iTunes from the Programs and Features control panel might fix the problem.

    I'm trying to open Photostream on AppleTV; the screen says Terms of Service have changed and go to /support/icloud.  I go there but can find no place to see the new terms of service and/or agree to them.

    Go to You Tube and Watch How to Tech Video (h2tech) and there is a video that says "How to Connect Your Photostream. 
    I am getting that same comment about the terms of service have changed blah blah blah.
    The second option you see that says use different account.  Try your icloud/photostream user id and password - should be the same as your main one.  At least mine is. 
    Anyway, try checking out the UTube videos...  Hope this helps.  I know how FRUSTRATING this stuff can be.  : )

So I go onto my computer and review the terms of use there on my email. I could NOT find the "agree" button. Please, can someone help me?

    The button would be on your iPod version of Skype, not the computer version. They are not the same.

  • No Option to Agree to New Terms of Service

    After updating my OS to os7 I am not able to purchse APPS.  I receive a message the the terms and conditions have changed and that I must agree to them in order to proceed. At that point my screen freezes and I can't find the accept terms button. Anyone else have this issue?

    Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then try purchasing an app.

    Is this on your computer's iTunes, on an iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch, or in an email ? If you are on an iOS device and are in the Downloads tab in the iTunes or App Store apps on it then the Ts &Cs link shows when you don't have anything downloading - your music should have downloaded into the Music app, and films and TV shows into the Videos app.

    Not sure what happened the last time I synced my iPhone to my iTunes to transfer some music I bought from iTunes off my phone.  After I thought everything went well, when I went to my iTunes on my phone to shuffle songs, some do play but others songs it skips and it starts going crazy skipping songs.  I even wanted to play a CD that I have a hard copy of and downloaded into my iTunes library and as soon as I try to play it, it skips all songs on the screen of my phone until the last one and it goes back to the album as if it played it all but songs do not get played. I tried taking the iCloud off to see if for what ever reason that was the cause but it didn't work. I am not very good with computers and do not know where to even begin fixing this issue....please help!

    I had this and tried absolutely everything before resetting. However nothing worked. The only way this worked for me is:
    Settings
    General
    Reset
    Erase All Content and Settings
    Then follow from there. It would be wise to ensure that you have backed the phone up to iCloud or iTunes prior to doing this.
    Annoying as I've just come from Android and didn't have any issues with apps there. Doesn't inspire confidence at all, especially as a seemingly widespread issue.

  • I am having issues with my iTunes on my new MacBook Pro Retina. I called about a month-ago to fix my iTunes on my computer, and now when I buy new movies or music it will not let me play it on my computer nor will it download it onto my computer.

    As noted a month ago I called apple to fix my iTunes account. Now when I buy songs or music I cant watch, listen, or even download them onto my computer. It keeps giving me this pop-up when I try.
    "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID."
    "You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 52 days."
    I know this computer is  associated with an Apple ID, because it's mine, so why can't I watch, listen or download them onto my computer?
    They had me reset alot of crap when I called them, so if anyone knows how to possibly fix this before I call Apple and freak out, please tell me!

    Check the required specs for the latest version of iTunes and iOS. What kind of Mac computer do you have and what OS does it have on it. Also, what kind of processor do you have, Intel?

  • Since downloading iOS 4 I'm having issues with getting iTunes applications!

    Okies, so here's my prob. I went to iTunes (I have the latest version) and I tried to download the free app, "Baby Center: My Pregnancy". It downloaded to iTunes but wouldn't let me sync it to my iPod saying, "This app couldn't be sync'd because the iPod isn't using the latest iPhone OS." So, I went and updated to the iPhone OS 4. I tried to download it again. Again, it downloaded to iTunes but this time when I sync'd it to my iPod it showed in iTunes that I had the app on the last page. When I disconnected my iPod, it wasn't there. I even searched for it and nothing came up. I tried rebooting the computer, I tried rebooting my iPod, I tried restarting iTunes. I tried re-downloading and re-syncing the app to my iPod again and again and again! Each time it showed in iTunes that I had the app, but I look on my iPod and... NO APP! I'm a little frustrated with this. Can anybody tell me what to do? I really want this app on my iPod. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Found my problem!!! I had Restrictions set to limit Apps to those appropriate for ages 9+ (my kids). I reluctantly changed it to 12+ and Netflix magically appeared! Yay!
    You may want to check your Restrictions in Settings.

    Created a custom iTunes Radio station today with about 20 artists.  Able to access it on my iMac and my Apple TV but not my iPhone (it shows but nothing happens when I try to play it).
