Help,deploy workflow

hi all:when I deploying workflow
there is a warning:

my runtime owner user ,access user and target use all have "EXECUTE ANY PROCEDURE"
why?

Hi, you should grant the execute any procedure privilege to the Workflow user (not necessarily to the Warehouse Builder target user).
Thanks,
Mark.

Hi. I made another account for I can't email address in my profile.
I found that my problem is cluster specific problem. JDeveloper's default configuration works with clustered BPEL engines for simple processes that have no human tasks. But human-task-included processes are deployed without task forms with the same errors you'd had.
I found a work-around for it. I changed build.properties in the project for cluster configuration as below,
platform = ias_10g
domain = default
rev = 1.1
admin.user = oc4jadmin
admin.password = welcome1
http.hostname = the_server_address
http.port = 7779
cluster = true
j2ee.hostname = the_server_address
rmi.port = 23791
opmn.requestport = 6004
oc4jinstancename = default_group
And, yes, Ant would definitely be an answer for it, too.
Thank you for your reply,
Joon.

• What is the Design to Deployment Workflow using DW with WordPress?

I am a Designer and Developer/programmer. This is a complete workflow question: What is the Design to Deployment Workflow using DW with WordPress? For example, is it:
PS/IL > DW > WP? (Photoshop or Illustrator, Dreamweaver, WordPress?)
Or is Edge Reflow inserted between PS and DW?
PS > ER > DW > WP?
Are these workflows iterative and, whats the word, recursive - we are able to go back and forth?
My understanding is that the Edge tools are not up to the coding standards of DW, and ER > DW (Edge Reflow to Dreamweaver) is not seamless or even practical.
Where does the Stack come in? MAMP (or LAMP/WAMP) of course, jQuery/jQuery UI, WordPress and other items; how integrated are these things?
I used to be a Flex developer and quite comfortable with the Design to Dynamic Deployment workflow of Illustrator or Photoshop to Flash Catalyst to Flash Builder; moreover, I thought the Eclipse IDE was excellent with its database introspection capabiliities, debugging etc. Adobe really pushed this workflow, then instead of innovating and standing behind its own product with 98% market penetration, Adobe disembowelled Flash right before everyones eyes.
What about Prototyping, which is certainly part of the process? Fireworks is on the kibosh. Illustrator, while excelling at some aspects falls short of making a functional prototype (unless you're tying in Acrobat to link the pages), and while Photoshop is Edge Reflows darling, Edge seems redundant with DW and spits out twacky code.
(Muse of course is unusable for professional developers, but it makes you wonder why some of those UI elements where not employed in DW whose interface seems antiquated by comparison).
It seems Adobe is bloody all over the place, more like a rabbing drunk with a microphone rather than the dependable go-to software company for creatives the world over.
In my opinion, workflow from beginning to end is important. Having a million different options to try to accomodate everyone is not. Some guidance in this department is greatly appreciated!
Best,
Dylan

I have not used Edge Reflow myself. Nor do I espically like WordPress. But my typical workflow is:
PS for Design Concept and web images.
DW for CSS, HTML & JavaScript.
3rd party editors like Zend Studio & Navicat for PHP & MySql development.

• Allowing non-administrator users to deploy workflows

I need to allow users who do not have admin group access on the server to deploy workflows. How can I do this? Is there a group to which I add them (_pcastserver didn't work)? Ideally, I would like to enable persons in a few Active Directory groups to deploy workflows, but if they need to be individual user IDs, that's (marginally) acceptable.
Thanks,
Charles

From our Apple Sales Engineer:
"The closest thing to allowing non-administrators to be able to submit workflows would be to configure users or groups as Podcast Producer administrators only. They would then be able to submit workflows, and however be able to configure Podcast Producer within Server Admin.
Server Admin --> Server --> Access --> Administrators --> Podcast Producer
Add a user or group and grant the ability to administer. They will not have the ability to administer the server or escalate to root privileges."
These users still have access to Administer Podcast Producer with Server Admin though.

• Need help with Workflow Issue: One notification sending out non-stop email.

Hi,
We've created a custom PO Approval Workflow based on standard PO Approval Workflow and we've had this for a while now. Last week, we encountered an issue where the notification keeps on sending email to the Suppliers and Buyers. We found out that the particular notification_id in the WF_NOTIFICATIONS table keeps getting updated by the minute setting the MAIL_STATUS to INVALID then back to SENT then back to INVALID again and so on. We think that whatever is updating this table is the cause but up until now we haven't found what's updating it. Below are some information of our instance.
Oracle Applications: 11.5.10.2
Database: 10.2.0.4 64 bit
OS: AIX
Custom Workflow based on revision 115.127.11510.16
Customizations:
- Created custom notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP based on EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom message XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF based on EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Added #WFM_CC to XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF.
- Created custom attribute XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER and set as Performer to notification XX_EMAIL_PO_PDF_SUPP.
- Created custom function XX_ADDTL_STARTUP_VAL right after function "Set Workflow Startup Values". This function sets #WFM_CC attribute and XX_PO_WF_EMAIL_PERFORMER attribute.
Not sure if the customizations have anything to do with the issue since not all POs have this issue. Have anyone experience this? Would really appreciate any help with this.
Thanks,
Allen

Is it possible to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set by the help of workflows?

Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find out if a certain type of document is available inside a document-set.
Per my knowleadge, there is no out of the box way to accomplish this with SharePoint Designer Workflow.
To find the content type inside a document-set, there are two methods:
First, open a document set, click “New Document” option, then you can find the available content type in the document set.
Second, open the document set content type, open Document Set Settings Page, then you can see the available content type.

Hi Gaurav,
Other applications used the same the datasource, which I used for this application,
are running fine.
I think there is some bug in the wlserver 6.1 to create the join table. I think
it is the time I should ask the bea wlserver 6.1.

• Need help on Workflow of QM template WS24500047

i Everybody.......
I need some help in using the QM Notifications workflow
My requirement is I have to do some addition changes to the
Standard Work flow template WS24500047 of QM Notification
Functionality already exit:
currently this workflow template send a work item to
resolution owner and this will open QM02 in change mode .
Addition Requirement:
In this the modification I have to do is adding to the above
functionality, I have to send work item to another two person
(here persons are determined by some condition) and this work item
will open QM03.
Kindly let me know which task is calling QM02 and hw resolution
owner name is determined?
I have to found one task TS24500068 in which there is a rule
AC00000172 which determine resolution owner name from notification
this is using a standard function module whose import and export
parameters are passed by a container.
Please let me know which task or rule I have modify and wht kind of
changes needs to be done or should I go customizing the entire Template.
Please help me hw to proceed on the same.
Thanks in advance for all your help
Ravi

hi,
you will need to copy the std workflow template and add an activity step for display method of notification and define your own rule in that which gives you the list of agents to whom you need to show QM03
alternately, you can check out template WS20000035.

• Help with Workflow FCP to Compressor then DVD Pro and Shaky footage

Hi, I am new to using a MAC and also to Final Cut Studio so if this question has been asked before or seems obvious then I offer my apologies.
I have a clip on the timeline which is a little shaky but I need to use it. I have added a SmoothCam filter and when I playback in FCP all seems OK however after sending to Compressor then eventually to DVD Pro the clip shows as being shaky again, almost as if the filter had been deleted in the Compressor. Could someone perhaps talk me through the correct workflow I should be using and maybe suggest where I am going wrong please. As I said this is my first attempt to author a DVD with FCP on my MAC.
The footage was captured on my Panasonic Home camcorder. The settings in my camera were set at 1920 x 1080 HG mode for High Definition.
In my camera user guide it refers to the images being based upon the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 codec so should I have set something similar when capturing into FCP.
Any advice would be welcomed.
Regards
Fred

Hi Mike I tried everything to try and resolve this one, I tried all combinations of field dominance. I also followed the recommendations from the Apple help to use the intermediate codec (search under AVCHD in the Help files) If I get anywhere I will mail you
Regards
Fred
PS I had some advice from another forum group who said to try and export a Quicktime movie into DVD Pro and not to send to Compressor, I will try that later and see if that helps.

• Please help with workflow - iMovie '08 and Panasonic HDC-SD1

My two teenage sons play high school basketball and I've been videotaping their games using our new Panasonic SD1. Picture quality is terrific, but I've been taken aback by how much time it takes to get the footage from the camera into iMovie and then how long it takes to burn a DVD from that iMovie file. I'm hoping I'm doing something wrong and that there's a quicker way to get the job done.
The kids play four periods and I've been stopping and starting the camera in between, so I end up with four separate files on the SD card. Total time is usually an hour and change.
Okay here's the workflow from there:
~ When I get back to my iMac (2.16 Core 2 Duo with 3GB of RAM) I place the SD card in a card reader and import the four files into iMovie from there. Importing the hours' worth of video takes a couple of hours.
~ I then make one project with all four files for export to iTunes so the boys can watch on our Apple TV. Exporting, using the "large" format takes another couple of hours.
~ I then use the same exported file to make a DVD for the coach using iDVD. That process takes more than three hours.
I'd actually like to split out the four quarters of the game into separate menu items on the DVD. My thought was to make each quarter a different iMovie project, but it looks like I can't queue the four exports so I'd have to stay close to the computer to do them individually.
Thanks in advance for the help.
...Barry

If you only have 1 file per quarter, one obvious thing to do would be to edit out the time in between plays, the time-outs, and the like. That is easily done in iMovie.
Having said that, importing (and exporting) in high definition takes time, and your times do not seem unreasonable.

• Failed to Deploy Workflow on Clustered SOA

Hi,
We have developed a custom workflow which is working fine in the test environment which is a non clustered environment. However, now when we are deploying the same workflow on live SOA environment which is clustered, we are getting the error below. Can anyone guide how to fix this or identify which class path variables are creating problems. Does this have to do anything with clustering or not?

• In need of help with workflow script...

I am currently using a DTP plugin called Layer Comps and layer groups for a DPS/ Print project. I am looking for someone to develop a script for exporting my single document into multiple documents – i am aware that there is a script for exporting spreads to pages. I would also like the script to have some additional features. If there is anyone who is capable of scripting or creating a plugin please contact me via this post. I am willing to pay – a reasonable amount, im not rich or wealthy so I do stress reasonable – but the compensation can be discussed.
In addition, I would like to learn the process of scripting as it relates to the needs I may have when teeking my workflow. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.
p.s. I am using CS5

• Help on workflow event container creation.

Can any one tell me how to create event containers in workflow? If the steps will be given in details it will be very help.Pls

Hi,
Events are part of business objects, events are linked to workflows, in the linkage you can link the standard container elements, like initiator to workflow containers and you can link the attributes of the (then) instantiated business object to containers in the workflow.
You can create additional attributes on business objects in SWO1 (make sure you don't change the sap standard, rather create a subtype and uses delegation (also doable in SWO1) to "override" the sap standard.
You can create additional containers in pftc, type is WS and task is your workflow number after pressing change you can tick the tab container to create additional containers and in the tab starting events you can change the event-->wf linkage.
Kind regards, Rob Dielemans

Appreciate your help. How can I see the deployed applications in WAS. FYI, I come from a weblogic background.
Thanks

Hi Siriam,
how did you build that ear? I hope you did not just import it from weblogic and then use it from the studio. You should open new projects and import the files to the studio and thenbuild a new ear.
There is an article about prtong here at SDN: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/documents/a1-8-4/porting a j2ee application to sap web application server.pdf
Please check there for details.

• Help regarding Workflow

Hi,
We have two custom fields (*Department* and Service Engineer) on our service request page. I have created a workflow that triggers when modified record is saved. The condition when it should trigger is :
IF Department = XYZ AND Service Engineer = ABC then send email notification to users....
It worls fine till here, but the problem is that it sends email notification everytime when the page is updated, therefore resulting in sending duplicate mails. Infact it should only send one email.
I have tried PRE function, but doesnt seems to be working.
Any help ???
Regards
Ahmed

Hi !
What you should put is the exact syntax below :
*[<IndexedPick1>]="XYZ" AND [<IndexedPick0>]= "ABC" (PRE('<IndexedPick1>')<>[<IndexedPick1>] OR PRE('<IndexedPick1>')<>[<IndexedPick0>])*
This means that the workflow will trigger only when Pick 1 = XYZ and Pick 0 = ABC and one of the two pick has been modified.
I think you will have to create another workflow "when a new record is created" to send your e-mail when the record is directly created with Pick 1 = XYZ and Pick 0 = ABC. Here the condition will be only *[<IndexedPick1>]="XYZ" AND [<IndexedPick0>]= "ABC"*
Hope this will help, feel free to ask more !
