HELP - Dreamweaver CS opening documents

Since I have switched to a Mac Pro and begun using
Dreamweaver CS, I've found it very frustrating that documents take
anywhere from 30-60 seconds on average to open. The one that
prompted this post took 3 minutes to open. These are not
complicated pages. Several images, a CSS document, and that's it.
Is this a general problem with Dreamweaver CS, or is there
anything I can do? I would gladly go back to using an older version
of Dreamweaver (which I use on my older laptop) but they don't work
on Mac Pro.

All the files are on my hard drive. Some pages have a few
images with the root url source
("hxxp://www.website.com/images/image.jpg")
rather than the path on my HD
("../images/image.jpg") and those make the pages
load even longer still.
Does this really sound unusual for Dreamweaver CS? I've been
dealing with this for months now.

**HELP** Dreamweaver won't open files!!!!

I am in a very bad spot right now in that Dreamweaver will not open files; neither .html or .php, neither those created by me, or by others.
I am taking a class in which we must use DW to complete Lynda exercises and my DW will simply not open any files. I have even created test files in DW, saved them, tried to re-open with DW and all that happens is the application frame blinks and no open document appears.
I have a fresh, completly brand-new install of DW as of 6 days ago; all other CS6 apps in my suite work perfectly with no problem or issue whatsoever.
I've never experienced an app doing this before; re-installing, trashing the prefs do not cure the problem.
Maybe sound silly but could my copy of the CS6 downloaded installer contain a "bad" installer of DW?
Please help, if you can; out of ideas here!

Actually your OS cares very much what this is set to.
I keep Firefox as my default app topen HTML files, JS, CSS, ASP, PHP all open with DW but my regular files open in the browser. I find it kkeps me from accidentally editing apage I only wanted to view if I limit my ability to open an HTML doc with DW to openingit from within DW (no double clicking an HTML file to open DW)

I create new report using Wizard, Add Command (Oracle query).
I see table in my report, I can run ... Then I save my report and close it.
But when I try to open again -- I can't open again and I see error: "Failed to open document. Read past end TSLV record."
Please, help me ! :((((

Optimize Open Document-Please Help!

Hello,
I am trying to down sample an open document to 150 ppi. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to do this. We've been using droplets to do this in the past but now we Enfocus Switch. Switch can open the document and run a script. If anyone has a script to down sample a pdf, one way or another, I'd greatly appreciate the help.

Hi Bernd,
This is a script which will be ran by Acrobat, not Switch. The Switch just opens the pdf in Acrobat and Acrobat runs the script. I suppose I could check there but this forum has more people with Acrobat scripting experience. Switch generally moves the file to the app you want to open it in and the app does all the work before Sw

1. What is the error message that you are getting?
2. What was the URL that was provided?
3. Are you getting this error for a specific document or for all of them?
4. Can you try downloading Reader DC from Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions and re-installing on you machine.

"failed to open document" help

I have been working on a flash file for school using CS5.5. Everything was working, and I even downloaded a trial of CS5.5 on my computer to work on the project, but now I am in class and it will not open. It keeps saying "failed to open document." I'm not sure what went wrong, and I need this file by next thursday for my class. I need to know if there is any way to fix this without redoing my entire project from scratch.

I'm making a batch processing action and I really need a script that iterates through all open documents, finds the one with the biggest image size and then iterates one more time to change the rest of the documents to the same image size dimensions. I am working on a small website based off on Bootstrap 3. Now that I am almost done with the project opening files take a few seconds to open them (in code view). I have tried the various fixes like resolveremoteurltoipaddress=FALSE but still the files load very slow. On my Windows Machine it loads very fast and that machine is 4 years old. The iMac I am using at work is the latest version with decked out specs and only Dreamweaver CC and Edge Code have very slow opening of files. Creating new documents inside Dreamweaver CC is fast. Is there a way to make Dreamweaver open files faster? How to make it load faster, open documents faster, especially in code view. My initial thought is maybe its because I am linking to a few JS library like TypeKit and jQuery but I have not experience these problems on my Windows PC. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem Saving or Opening Documents with Office 2013 Home & Business

as the title says, I'm running into a problem when trying to save or open Documents in Word,Excel,etc. (all Office Programs)
I get the message "Microsoft Word stopped working". Or Excel, Powerpoint...
I already tried to deinstall and used the Office-FixIt-Tool to clean the PC.
I also updated the driver for my Graphic-Card, installed the newest Windows-Updates and checked if it is caused by an Add-In.
None of this helped. The Problem still exists when starting in Safe-Mode.

If I start Windows in Safe-Mode and try to start one of the Office-Products I get another error, something like:

Hello George,
No, it has never worked.
For testing I installed Office 2010 and this worked fine.
But as I said, all versions had been deinstalled before reinstalling Office 2013 (even cleaned up with the FixIt-Tool).

Hello,
I have query on configuring open document sso in XIR2.
We could configure open document sso on XIR3.1 from the SAP Notes available ,i.e by configuring Kerberos SSO as a prerequisite & changing web.xml file for open document.
Do we need to follow the same procedure for XIR2,We could not find any related documents on open document sso.
We have a Env still in XIR2 which is configured in NTLM.We need to configure open document sso for few clients.Do we need to shift to Kerberos? Can we configure open document sso with IIS?
Please let us know what are our possibilites?

i'm trying to configure a system with BOXI 3.1 and SSO with AD Kerberos.
The system is ok when I open infoview main screen and the user doesn't need to put its credentials. Tha's fine.
But, when I try to open a report with a openDocument url the system is asking me by user and password. I need to avoid this behaviour. Is it possible?

How to clear the open documents in case if document currency and local curr

Hi,
Can anyboday advise how to clear the open document of a particular vendor for a particular company code. Here the issue is that balace is netted to Zero in the document currency but not in the local currency. The document was posted in Currency CAD and the local currency is GBP.
When i check the FBL1N, there is it showing net balance is ZERO, but document is still in open
status. I tried using Transaction code F-44, but it is not allowing me.
Can anyboday advise how to perform this. Points will be awarded.

In the Company code global parameters(OBY6),select the check box "NO FOREX RATE DIFF.WHEN CLEARING IN LC"
and try clearing again.(You can have a F1 help on the check box to see what exactly it is).

Try transaction VA05. In that choose "Open Orders" along with other selection criteria.
If you want the Open sales order qty in output and its not displayed, do the following.
Sales -> System modification -> create new fields ( without condition technique) -> New fields for lists.
You can change V05TZZMO and structure VBMTVZ from there or use SE38 / SE11.
For both you'll need an object registration in OSS.
