Help finding exact model #

Hello, I understand that many Big Box stores use their own part numbers.  I have a Satellite that I need to replace the screen on.
It is a Satellite pro c850 part # PSKC96-00X00P
I see many replacement screens for c850's but they all have 3 digits appnded to the end of c850
Thank you.

Satellite pro c850 part # PSKC96-00X00P
Just to put you on the right track, it must be this model.
Satellite Pro C850-00X (PSKC9C-00X00P)
This site is for US computers. Good luck with that Canadian model.
BTW, what counts is the part-number family. What you find for PSKC9x should work for any x.

    Ok, i got this so far ...
    import java.util.regex.Matcher;
    import java.util.regex.Pattern;
    public class Testing2 {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Pattern p = Pattern.compile("[wati]");
            String text = "water";
            Matcher m = p.matcher(text);
            if (m.find()) {
                System.out.print("Found !");
    }With that code i got a match, but i ONLY want to find a match if the String matches the EXACTS characters in the Pattern ...
    in this case i got, 'w' 'a' 't' 'i', 'w' 'a' 't', are in water, but 'i' NOT, so i don't want to have a match !
    i don't know how to acomplish this :(
    hope you can help me, thanks in advance :D

    i don't know how to acomplish this :(AFAIK there's no syntax in regular expressions to accomplish this. Try turning your string into a character array, sorting it, and then do a simple comparison.

  • Help identifying Tecra model

    I've had a series of used Tecra's over the years, and have been very happy with that.
    I am now looking at buying a used Tecra M11, but I cannot find identification of the exact model from the Part # I have been given.  I was told the part number is PTME3U-04U02N--I have not been able to obtain a full model number from the seller.  Can you help me identify the model so I can look it up here.  I was not able to find this laptop either with a Google search or here on Toshiba support.  Thanks.

    Tecra M11 (PTME3U-04U02N)
    It's the part-number family  (PTME3U) that matters.
    This one is not in the same one.
    Tecra A11-S3540  (PTSE3U-00R00G)
    The one above is essentially like this model.
    Tecra M11-S3440 (PTME3U-01300Q)

  • Locating exact model information

    I'm trying to determine exactly which Toshiba Satellite A10 I have. The label on the underside of my laptop only says "A10" no other model appellation such as "-100" etc.
    Where would I look to locate this? I do not have any paperwork, as this laptop was given to me third or fourth-hand, all I have is the unit itself. I would like to look up the specifications, to determine if I can upgrade the RAM, etc, but need to know the exact model, to find the right spec sheets on the main web site.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks!!

    psa10u-01sww7wc
    You should be able to use most of the drivers and utilities for any machine in the PSA10U part-number family.
    One of them is the Satellite A15-S127, whose downloads are here.
    Good luck!

  • Identifying exact model of MOBO 865PE Neo2

    I am trying to identify the exact model of my son's computer's mobo.
    On the board it has MS-6728 Ver. 1
    There seems to be a differenct between the 865pe neo2 and a 865 neo2 platinum.
    More confusion when I try to determine Current Bios.
    On screen at boot : A6728IMS  v1.9 110603
    When actually in the setup bios screens says ver3.19
    When looking online, the bios for the above mentioned platinum is listed as ver3.19 with the same date stamp.
    Where can I find if pcbv1 or pcbv2
    Sorry if this is a newbie question. I REALLY have tried to locate this info on the MSI site.

    Still can't get a clue why it freezes out. Is your system ... OEM?
    Think I descovered the problem. My processor is evidently a "prescott". Found in another forum. Installing winxp sp2 on a machine with a prescott chip may lead to the startup failure if the bios on the motherboard has not been updated to a version that supports an updated microcode on the prescott. The temporary solution is to turn off level 1 and 2 cache. When I did that the machine actually started loading windows. (terribly slowly I might add) Hopefully when I get the operating system going, I can flash the bios to 2.5. Then turn the cache back on. If not, I'll have to replace the mobo or processor. Can't live with this SLOW system.

  • How do I find the model number of a MacBook

    A friend of mine has a MacBook that won't start up. How do I find the model number of her MacBook? A number like MBXXXLL/A or MAXXXLL/A.

    HI,
    Do you meant he serial number? If so, click the Apple Menu  then click: About This Mac. You will see Mac O S X. Under that click where you see: Version 10.x.x, then click one more time to see the serial number.
    You can also view this information by launching the System Profiler (Applications/Utilties)
    On the left under Contents select Hardware. The serial number will be displayed on the right.
    Just out of curiosity, how is knowing the serial number going to help trouble shoot this MacBook ??

    Is there some reason you cannot provide the exact title here as was  requested?
    If the book is not in the Apple store, you will have to get it from another one, such as Amazon, Nook, Kobo, Google, Sony.  Each of them has apps to read the books  you get from them.

  • Please help finding pre-exsisting methods

    please help find pre-existing methods
    JavaFirstTime Jan 2, 2005 3:21 PM
    please help clever people :)
    how to output decimals in 2 decimal places only?
    how to output large integers using format: 12,376,452
    I've been told there are pre-existing methods for that, but i just can't find it... ideally i need to know the source code...

    Well, there's many ways to do it ... Here's one:
    class NumberFormatDemo {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    new NumberFormatDemo().go();
    public void go() {
    double decimal = 123.456;
    System.out.println((int) decimal + "." + (int)
    + (int) (decimal * 100 + 0.5) % 100);
    int largeInteger = 12376452;
    System.out.println(recursive(largeInteger));
    public String recursive(int largeInteger) {
    if (largeInteger > 999) {
    return recursive(largeInteger/1000) + ","
    1000) + "," + largeInteger%1000;
    } else {
    return "" + largeInteger;
    yes, that's exactly wot i need...
    how didn't i think of that myself, using mathematics, i was thinking it would be more complicated like converting decimals to string then count letters and so on.
    Thank you for putting me on the right track :)

  • How to find which model of iPhone 5 I am using? and is that GSM or CDMA?

    How to find which model of iPhone 5 I am using? A1428 or A1429 ? Is there any short code you can dial in and check the model number ?
    And which is GSM or CDMA out of this model.

    If you purchased the phone in the US with an AT&T contract then you have the locked CDMA A1428 version of the iPhone 5.
    At the moment and if the contract is a new contact, then you won't be able to get the phone unlocked at the moment and no, you won't be able to use it in your home country.  You will also have LTE 4G compatibility issues too and your phone will only work on 3G and also you need to remember that iPhones are only covered by country specific warranty, so it is only covered in the US, so if you go home and then have a problem with your phone, you will have to come back to the US to get it repaired.
    You need to approach AT&T about whether they will unlock your phone for you as they are the ONLY ones that can do it, but the answer to your question is no and if you had wanted to use your phone at home, then you should not have purchased it in the US.  The best that you can hope for at the moment is to use it on international/roaming.
    If you purchased your phone in the US, then it will be a CDMA phone.  You don't have a GSM phone, but GSM phones are unlocked anyway and these are the ones that are selling in Canada and the UK.
    If you have your phone on an AT&T contract then ultimately, AT&T are the only ones who can help you with any questions regarding unlocking and they are the only ones who can unlock it for you, noone else.

  • Unable to find RAID model type

    Hi Everyone,
    I am completely new to this Xraid and Xserve stuff. I have one of the old Xraid and I am trying to find out the model type for this raid.
    After looking at the back panel, only thing I found is this:
    512MB/512MB 720GB/2x2GB /FC
    but nothing else. After doing controller reset, I was able to connect to RAID using RAID Admin Tools using IP address but still unable to find any model number.
    Can anyone please help me with this?
    Thanks,

    I may be mistaken, but if you're trying to work out what model of XServe RAID you have I believe Apple only made the one.
    If you mean working out what firmware version the controllers are running, if you go in to RAID Admin, then in the Components tab you should be able to click the picture of the controllers, and it should tell you on the right hand side what firmware you have (latest is 1.5.1c)

    No, none of the numbers is what you need to get the drivers.  Here is another guide to help you find the model #.

  • Need help finding a driver for my hp webcam . My computer say I dont have a camera but I do.

    Need help finding my camera[webcam] on my computor.

    Can you provide us with your computer model number?  Take a look in Device Manager to see if there is an Imaging Devices group that includes the webcam.  If not, is there an Unknown Device listed?  This would indicate that your webcam is detected, but there is no driver installed.  We can help you find the correct driver if that is the case.  Let's start with the computer model number.  Thanks.
