Help in ECC6.0
Dear all,
I am using following select stmt in 4.0B, It is working fine, When I use same Select stmt in ECC6.0, I am getting error.
SELECT MATNR WERKS SUM( LABST ) FROM MARD INTO TABLE TMARD FOR ALL ENTRIES IN T_VBAP
WHERE MATNR = T_VBAP-MATNR
AND WERKS EQ T_VBAP-WERKS
AND LVORM EQ SPACE
AND LGORT NE 'ST02'
GROUP BY MATNR WERKS.
Can any one help me.
Thanks,
you cannot use aggregate functions like SUM along with FOR ALL ENTRIES even in 4.6 and you will get the following error message when you check in 4.6 or ECC 6.0:
The addition "FOR ALL ENTRIES" excludes all aggregate functions with the exception of "COUNT( * )".
Regards,
Raman.

Steps to replace match code objects with search helps in ECC6 upgrade
Hi,
Upgrade 4.7 to ECC6, match code objects need to be replaced with search hellps.
SAP note provided by client but not understanding clearly. Can any one explain me the stelps to migrate the match code objects into search hepls.
Thanks,
Jwala DeepaHi,
Migration must be done by a developer who knows both matchcodes and search helps. It's not just like a procedure that you can follow without knowledge/without thinking.
It's probably a little bit like forms (but far more simple), they often need to be "migrated from scratch"
The first important point is where to find the matchcode object/IDs -> SE11 -> Utility -> Other DDic objects. Then you'll see that are the update type, base table, etc.
There's a little scheme here to show the differences: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/3e/f3fc37eeb70143e10000009b38f8cf/frameset.htm (plus the general matchcode documentation : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/cf/21ef1f446011d189700000e8322d00/frameset.htm )
If you need a procedure, let's wait, and see if someone has one, but it doesn't look promising as matchcodes are not used since a long time now.

So we have few queries on the patching :
We need to patch our stack to the latest SP. Latest SP available in market is SP11, as an N-1 preference we planned to go for SP10, but in MOPZ while selecting the target it gives option only for SP11 in the drop down nothing else. Any reason for it ?
Need to incorporate ESS/MSS functionality as well, so can we include the respective add-on/Packages for ESS/MSS in the same stack ?
If yes where/what can I select in MOPZ ?
As you could see our SAP-HR, EA-HR LSOFE are still in 600 release. If we select the target package in MOPZ to the latest will it upgrade the SAP_HR 600, EA-HR 600& LSOFE 600 components to SAP-HR 604, EA-HR 606, LSOFE 606 ?
If I had to install HR-Renewal 1.0 I believe we would need EA-HR 607 and LSOFE 607 as a prerequisite, so can that be included in the same stack ?
Please advice.
Regards,
SrikanthHi RB,
I have generated the stack.xml file and reviewed the TXT version, the SP level looks fine. However the for SAP_BASIS component SP level is showing as 0000, though it has already been upgraded to 11.
Is that a wrong sign ?

Hi,
We would like to implement custom context sensitive help inn ECC6.0. ie whenever the user in any transaction if he clicks menu>help>custom help ( added ) it should display the corresponding help page which is available in web form.
Thanks in advance,
Abdul Raheem S1. On the Site Actions menu, click
Site Settings.
2. Under Site Collection Administration, click Help Settings.
3. Select the checkbox for your new Help Collection.
Refer to the following article for more information

How to search a topic in SAP Library
All SAP Gurus,
This is rather a simple problem, but I'm unable to find the solution for it.
I'm using SAP Help library 'ECC6.0', we followed the following steps to search our desired topic (for example: procurment)
1. We click over 'SEARCH' tab
2. Entered the desired topic 'procurment'
3. pressed 'ENTER"
But we got no search results, and system is giving the message as 'No Topics Found'.
Can you please guide, how o search in SAP help library?
Regards,Open the below link and then enter the Procurement in the space available near to Help on Help.
Then u will get the results.

Strange issue in updating custom table after upgrade ECC6.0! Please help!
Hello everyone:
I have some code (shown below) that deletes and updates some SAP tables and one custom table:
DELETE T5UBV FROM TABLE DEL_T5UBV.
DELETE ZCHRZIP FROM TABLE DEL_ZCHRZIP.
MODIFY ZCHRZIP FROM TABLE WRITE_ZCHRZIP.
MODIFY T5UBV FROM TABLE WRITE_T5UBV.
COMMIT WORK.
For SAP table the code above works fine but for custom table it overrides all exisiting data! It should keep some existing data in custom table ZCHRZIP and append any extra data from internal table WRITE_ZCHRZIP. This functions as designed if I run in fore ground but in background it just overrides instead of modifying and appending! This is happening only after upgrade ECC6.0. Any thoughts? Please let me know.
Thanks.
MithunMithun,
Comment below code
DELETE ZCHRZIP FROM TABLE DEL_ZCHRZIP.

Help in creating XML documents in ABAP using XI in new version ECC6.0
Hello All:
I am pretty comfortable with XML and XSLT but new to XI. Is there a way of creating XML documents in ABAP using XI in new version ECC6.0? Please provide me with any links or any information you may have. All the answers will be rewarded.
Thanks.
Mithunhi,
U cant create XML data in ABAP.
to send the data to the XI, u have to use the IDOC or RFC FM, from there IDOC or RFC adapters will read the data in the same format and these adapters will convert the data in to XML .Bcoz XI understand only XML data.
from there XI will process and route them to Destination, by using anthor adapter.
here u can use file adapter if u want data in file foramat from the IDOC or RFC .
So XI is the integration tool only.
reward points if helpful

Help Configuration in ECC6.0
Hi All
We have a ECC6.0 ABAP stack system. Now we have to configure the help on it. I have gone through some posts on SDN regarding this and came to know that the SAP Library DVD has to be downloaded. I am not able to find this under
Downloads-> Installation and Upgrades-> Entry by Application Group->ERP->6.0-> installation and upgrades.
Think i am not searching for it in the right place.
Could anyone tell me where to find this.
Thanks in advance. There's a link to this on the help.sap.com site which points to this download area

Help on setting up SAP LSO on ECC6 with EP
Hi fellow SAPians,
I would really appreciate if I can receive help on this.
We're currently exploring the SAP Discovery Server. I understand that
SAP Learning Solution has taken over Training Management. Can I ask if
the image provided comes with Learning Portal, Content Player and
Authoring Environment? If they do, may I know how I can activate them
so that they can be displayed in portal? Is there any complete and comprehensive Step by Step SAP LSO 600 documentation that helps? All I could find were for
versions 100, 200 and 300.
I've tried the below pages but they can't be displayed:
http://server:ITSport/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hcm_learning/leso.htm
- Prompted for user ID to Web Application Server (ERP)
http://server:j2eeport/lms/mediator/config
- Page not found
Also, may I know if Learning Portal, Content Player and Authoring
Environment comes as standard with ECC6 and EP7?
Thank you.
Regards,
DamienHi Damien,
I do not believe that SAP Discovery Server will have much on Learning Solution. You would not have the Content Player or Authoring Environment.
Much of the LSO 600 documentation is found in service.sap.com. Go to https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/support
Select Release & Upgrade Info/Installation & Upgrade Guide. Under Installation & Upgrade Guides select SAP Business Suite Applications-SAP ERP-SAP ERP 6.0---Installation.
You will find some guides for LSO Authoring Environment, Content Player & Offline Player.
Since LSO 6.00 is part of ERP 6.0 (or ERP 2005), there are additional information in the installation guides under there that you will need to consult.
Additionally, you should consult https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/learningsolution. Under media library, you will find information on the Training management portion of LSO, the Authoring Environment and Learning Portal. There is a Configuration Guide there that is also very useful.
The Learning Portal is included in ECC 6.0. The Content Player which is a Java application needs to be installed separately as well as the Authoring Environment which is a desktop (client) application. But you should confirm with your SAP Account Executive about licenses for using LSO (there is/was a user and author license).
The SAP Enterprise Portal is an optional component and is not part of LSO per say. Customers can run the Learning Portal in their own intranet as the Learning Portal pages are just BSPs that sit in ERP (ECC) and can be accesses via a URL.
You can include the Learning Portal page in the EP using a delivered iView which is really pretty much empty since the pages come from ERP.
If this helps, don't forget to allocate the points.
Cheers,
