can anybody please tell me what a tax authority is/tax combos and tax models are.
im a starter and would like to know how they work in the net payroll.plz let me how they are configured.

Hi, if it is a statuatory change, please do not worry about it as SAP would be releasing a patch soon. All that you need to do is to ask the Basis team to apply it. Then, make sure that the tables mentioned in the patch are updated accordingly and also, please test it for one employee before you move this.

Need help in tax query!

we have a discoverer query which calculates the withholding tax details.
the query used to run fine in 11i before.
Now client in on R12.
Query has input parameter as TAX_CODE_ID....
But now as the architechtural change... TAX_CODE_ID is coming as NULL when we enter invoices in front end.
We want to change the query such that the same details as that of 11i should come in R12 as well.
Can you plese suggest the ways to achieve this.

The line_type_lookup_code should contain the tax_code.

XML Invoice - help with Tax Summary

I've been tasked to modify an already modded XML Invoice using XMLP. I need to add a Tax Summary block at the bottom, showing the breakout of the tax codes and amounts charged on the invoice.
I've played around with it, but so far I can only get the first tax line to show up. I can't get the others. I need to insert a conditional, but I don't know how or where.
Has anyone run into anything like this before?
This probably isn't the best problem summary... but if you could help I'd appreciate it!

It sounds like you need to use a for-each to show each of your tax lines. If you do not have the for-each XMLP will only show the first tax line that is hits in the XML Output.
Would suggest that you take a quick look at the XMLP User Guide documentation for more information on how to use for-each.

Help with tax.

Hi,
On a sales order tax, is calculated to 4 decimal places.
For example on an order, total for tax is 9.2225 - we want it to display: 9.22
In Administration > System Initialization > Document Settings > Sales Order > "Automatic Rounding for Document" is a setting.
We don't want to use this setting, we only want tax to be rounded.
How is it possible to only round tax?

Help in tax code.

Hii experts, whenever the user tries to to miro with Tax Code V0... it showed a error of ff709.. which is error of account determination table t030 st1(A/P Service Tax).... then i assigned a gl for v0 in st1 and then the system gave me the error of ec2(A/P Service Tax Eces) and then gave error of ec3 (A/P Service Tax Secs)... they are putting v0 for the tax calculation... but still system strts to calculate service tax ...please help me to solve this issue..

Please remove conditions from FV12 i.e. end the validity period.
Please follow steps as given below :
1. Go to ME23N.
2. Enter PO
3.Click on Item --> Invoice --> Taxes
4. Select Condition type
Click on Condition Record
5.
6. Go to FV12
7. Click on
8. Select
The combination should be selected on the basis of combination seen in Point mo. 6
9. Click on Green tick
10. Enter combination seen in Point mo.
11. Execute
12.
Change the valid to date generally put same as Valid from date.
13. Save
14. Process IV once again.

Hi, I badly need some assitance regarding with my issue. I forgot to charge my laptop for a couple of days. Then, when i remember it, i immediately charge it and wait until it become fully charge or until the battery light charging went off. Then, at bedtime when i decided to use my laptop. The power light lit for a while then it turns off again. And when i itried to use the adaptor, the battery light won't light. I already checked the adaptor, and i guess nothing is wrong with it because the ac light is okay. I also followed those previous guides for troubleshooting this kind of problem but it never worked.
Please help me, what do i do, i am really worried. I am afraid that i will never use it anymore. I am afraid that my motherboard is defective. Is there a chance of survival? To all of you guys who experienced this, do you still use your laptops after taking some repairs or not anymore??? Hope you can help me. Or you share your experiences to enlighten me. Thankyou...

I am sorry to hear your issue. Based on your description, it sounds like this is a hardware issue already. But please consider the steps below, let's isolate the issue:
Power cycle - remove the battery and all peripherals -> press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Or (if the battery is not removable) remove all peripherals -> look for a battery off button on the bottom of the laptop -> press and hold for 5 seconds (you may use safety pin for that). This will drain the electricity of the computer. Charge again the laptop and test.
If the battery is removable, just remove it. Plug in the AC adapter then try to turn on the laptop.
If both steps didn't work, then we can say that this is a hardware issue. It could be the motherboard, but we cannot tell that right away. It seems that your Vaio SVE14112EAW is not a U.S. model. You may visit Sony's Authorized Service Center nearest in your location.

Help me choose a monetization model

I am creating a Windows Phone application(category - tools and productivity). I now choose monetization model:
1. I will show ads in the application. The user can buy off advertising. It will be the same application package. Check payment will occur within the application. Some applications use buying the new version without advertising. What
it gives advantages?
2. I will show ads in the application and limit the functionality of the application to the first purchase. The user can simply turn off the Internet and use the program without advertising. For this case, use a limited functionality

Actually I have been doing further research and I personally would either go with the 2.6GHz NON RETINA MBP or cough up the cash and go all out on a 2.6GHz RETINA MBP and upgrade the RAM to 16GB and upgrade to 768GB Flash storage, I am a student as well so will get a discount which will help.
My fears are that if I get the Retina model I will not be able to upgrade it even further, I want to keep the computer for at least a good 5 years, during those 5 to 8 years will the current upgrades be enough to keep up with the top games and programs etc? Also I have read that repairing the Retina display model is very diffcult and it can malfunction commonly, so I am guessing I should get apple care on top of it just to be sure with this particular model?
I am assuming that they they will bring out the new models out next year and all the chinks and bugs of the current Retina model will be fixed so to speak, of which I have read there is a few... Would it be worth buying the NON RETINA MBP and then selling and upgrading to an improved RETINA MBP model next year?
Finally if i back up my files on a hardrive would I have to use the USP SUPER DRIVE to install files onto the RETINA MBP or can i directly do this without the USP SUPERDRIVE?

Help with an ancient 760 model hard drive

Here's the deal:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, I was a high school student. At that time, my first laptop was a Thinkpad from the 760 series. After serving me valiantly into my first year of college, the laptop died. In the time I had the laptop, I amassed writings, music records, and stored some photos on the machine. Despite not having the laptop anymore, I recently came across the hard drive, which I had pulled prior to getting rid of it.
With that said, I'm posting to see if anyone knows of a way (i.e. is there an adapter that would connect the hard drive to my usb) or anything of the sort to retrieve my long lost files.

You an buy an external IDE (pata) to usb drive case for less then $10. If the drive is to big to fit in the case, you can still run it by using the cable without the case,or you can get a cable adapter without a case.
You can also get a 2.5 to 3.5" IDE adapter and put the drive into a desktop computer. I have a few sitting on my desk, they are very cheap.
ps. If anyone wants to install a drive larger then 8gb on one of these, it can be done, but you'll need software to translate the drive so your operating system can use it. Normally you set the bios to a specific user defined harddrive, then the bios thinks you have 8gb, but the software translates it to the actual size. One such program is alled "Disc Manager". I will probably work with any FAT operating system like DOS or Windows 9x, but that's about all you could run on one of them anyway. I actually think I have one of these that's in working condition, but not sure of the model. I'm also not 100% sure this model will work with disc manager software.

Help to create a component model using Calculator Web Service :(

Hello All,
Im working on EP6 SP9 and have a Calculator Web Service.
I want to create a component which should contain following UI elements:
1. InputField - to enter 1st number
2. InputField - to enter 2nd number.
3. TextView - To show the result
The calculator web service consists of 4 basic methods like addition, subtraction, division & multiplication.
I want to know whether how can I provide seperate buttons to each of the above mentioned functions 'coz when I add the web service while creating a component using SAP Web Dynpro (using SAP NEtweaver Developer Studio 2.0.9) - Model Creation step, I get an option to select only one method (and that is add).
Its not working......
I am following the steps as mentioned in help pages on Web Dynpro, section "Web Dynpro & Web Services" and example on WebServiceEmail.
Please help.......
I have to show this in a presentation on coming Friday.

Please HELP! Not authorized?

I just purchased a CD on iTunes and when I go to move the songs on to my iPod it states:
"Some of the songs in the iTunes music library were not copied to the iPod because you are not authorized to play them on this computer."
Why am I getting this error? I have purchase music from iTunes before and had no problem. This is the computer that my iPod has always been hooked up to? Did I just spend $10 on a cd that I can't even listen to?

SAP Library - Development Manual
Now to call the FM you have to follow the steps:
1)In NWDS click on models->then right click it select import Adaptive RFC model
2)Here gave the name of the Model , package etc and the names of the JCo Destinations tht will be needed to call from R/3.
3)Give the Information abt the R/3 Host and username password of the R/3.Press Next
4)Now search for the Bapi you want to Use. Select it Press Next
5) press Finish. You have imported a Bapi from R/3.
Now you can play around with it according to your requirement..
You need to create the Context, Views to show the Data of the Bapi.

The webservice exports one function only:

Need help on selecting SSTL18 bidirectional model for SPARTAN-6

Hi, I am doimg SI analysis for the DDR2 interface between two SPARTAN-6 devices. The data rate this interface is 800Mb/S. 1. Will the speed grade 2 SPARTAN-6 device support 800Mb/S data rate in DDR2 interface? 2. Which birectional model i suppose to use this simulation? I have tried several combinations. None of the combinations will work for me. When i tried the combination with two SSTL18_OT25_LR_33 models(Same driver and receiver), the result waveform was with offset. Also i have tried with combination SSTL18_II_LR_33 and SSTL18_OT25_LR_33. Also tried with different output termination models Note that the topology is one to one connection with 2500mils Microstipand without any external termination Please help on this. I know it's been a long time since this post but I encountered similar problems and nobody seems to have a solid response...
Output models (directly derived from the IBIS model of Spartan-6 device) are:
SSTL18_I/II_LR/TB_33/25_wk/tp/st_out/in
SSTL18_OT25/50/75_LR/TB_33/25_wk/tp/st_out/in
Firstly, the second model does not specify which SSTL18 class (I or II) is using... I am not using external termination neither on the FPGA nor the DDR2 side (only On Die Termination). It would be really helpfull if someone could shed light on this topic: which class to use, what class is being used when OT is enabled, etc.
