HELP quiz not showing up on LMS

I recently upgraded from Cp4 to Cp5. Last week I converted a quiz into Cp5, tested it out by previewing it on the web. I published it and uploaded it to our LMS (SCORM 1.2; MeridanGlobal; iLearnOregon). At first my user was able to open up but it kept flashing and then just turned blue and froze. I upgraded to flashplayer 10.1 on my system and tried it out, now it when my test user opens it up on the LMS it states "loading...." but doesn't go anywhere, it has been loading for about 10 minutes now.
I went back to Cp.4 and republished it and uploaded it onto the LMS, but now it is also doing weird things, it will allow the user in, and the first question is okay, but the 2nd question says it is the 6th question and it also doesn't show any navigation buttons, so the user can not move forward or back.
I have published and republished serveral times. I have tried publishing to Flash player 9 and 10. Same results. I don't know what I am doing or did wrong????? HELP

Will not show complete in LMS

I've created training and a quiz using instructions provided
by my LMS people.
Under properties on the last slide, In navigation I was
instructed to enter javascript:setExitState(); to make sure the
course shows as "complete" in the LMS. I've gone through the whole
training but the module still does not close out after the last
slide and will not show as "complete" under the status.
Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the Captivate forums!
Depending on your LMS, you may need to change the settings in
the Quiz properties. For example, some LMS products expect your
materials to report Complete/Incomplete, while others expect
Pass/Fail.
Either that, or one or more of your individual scored
interactions are not set up correctly.
If you post the name of your LMS, perhaps someone else has
the same one and can provide specific assistance.

Help: Records not showing when cube is placed under the Multiporivider

Hi Experts,
I have a Cube called Bcube with char Plant,calm year/month, material and Key Figure, Pqty
When I generate a report on this Cube, everything looks fine and I see plants, year, etc in the report
There are 2 other cubes:
MCube also has char Plant,calyear/month, material and Key Figure: Pqty, Sqty, TQty, AQty
DCube also has same as BCube: with char Plant,calyear/month, material and Key Figure Pqty
When I place all three cubes under the multiprovider, the values from the BCube does not show up in reports
e.g. in a simple report such as
Row : Plant
Columns: Pqty, Sqty, TQty, AQty
In the Multiprovider, under the Indentification of Characteristics, I checked the boxes for all three cubes whenever the same charactertic in all cubes showed up for identification: e.g..
InfoProvider InfoObject
Bcube----
Plant
MCube-------Plant
DCube -
Plant
and same for. e.g. 0Calyear
and same for Key Figures, e.g. I checked all 3 boxes for PQty which exists in each of the cubes
1. Why is my data for BCube not showing when reporting against the multiprovider?
2. what does it mean by checking the 3 boxes for Plant? and checking the 3 boxes for 0Calyear.

regarding your questions:
1. When I run listcube against the multiprovider, I only went to the output list to select the fields I needed in the output; then entered the particular cube e.g. BCube in the infoprovider field. That was it (NO other selection) and I got the described results I explained earlier. If you have a specific test for me to try, please let me know.
2. Please find the settings in both characteristics and key figures for all cubes in the MULTIPROVIDER maintenance screen:
Characteristic Assighment:
0calyear -- 3 boxes checked for BCube, DCube & MCube
Plant -- 3 boxes checked for BCube, DCube & MCube
0Material-- 3 boxes checked for BCube, DCube & MCube
Key Figure selection
PQty-- 3 boxes checked for BCube, DCube & MCube
Sqty --checked for DCube, this key fig is ONLY in DCube
TQty--checked for DCube, this key fig is ONLY in DCube
AQty--checked for DCube, this key fig is ONLY in DCube

Help topics not showing up when clicked

For some reason none of the help topics will show up now when I click on them. I click on help, type in my question, get some links and when I click on them it closes the help window but nothing else pops up. Do I need to reinstall or is there some option that I turned off by accident?

Captivate Quiz Not Reporting Correctly in LMS

I am using Captivate 5.0 to publish a project to an EKP LMS. I am able to get the file to show complete in the LMS, but the quiz is not reporting correctly. Instead of a percentage it is reporting the number of points earned. Is there any way to have a percentage reported instead? I would appreciate any suggestions. Grace

Quiz not showing sometimes

I am having an issue with Captivate 5.5. I created 5 courses which have PPT content slides, a few questions, more PPT slides, more questions, more PPT slides, more questions, review questions, then test. I uploaded to the LMS and tested and all courses worked with no problem. I had a trainer take the courses and she only saw the PPT slides. All of the questions and the test questions were skipped. I then tried taking the courses as a student and am having erratic behavior. Some courses show the questions and some do not. Can anyone help with this issue?

This does sound as a strange behavior, but lets try to understand the root cause of this.
Could you please upload the same course on http://cloud.scorm.com (Free LMS with 100MB space) and take it as a learner, does the problem appear there?
I am not sure whether you have created a single course or multiple. If it is a single, can you create another course and test it on your LMS.
Can you check with your LMS team if there is anything they can check in their logs that might explain this behavior.

Need immediate help: Idocs not showing up in productive PI

Hi gurus,
we are trying to go productive today with our pi 7.0 server. now we are facing the problem, that the idocs from our productive system don't get into the pi. in the productive erp system we can see them leaving with green status, but in sxmb_moni they don't show up. can anyone please help?

tRFC calls which transfer IDocs use the function module IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS at reception
If an IDoc in the sending system has been passed to tRFC (IDoc status "03"), but has not yet been input in the receiving system, this means that the tRFC call has not yet been executed.
To check the status of the tRFC calls, choose
Tools -> IDoc Interface/ALE-> Administration -> Monitoring->ｮ Troubleshooting -> RFC Queue (SM58) and specify any additional selection criteria.
basically The program RSARFCEX restarts unsuccessful tRFC calls.

Help ipod not showing up in itunes...ive already done everything it says to

so i downloaded some new songs and then started to update my ipod and it said there was an error trying to write to the disk so i thought one of the songs may have been bad so i deleted them and tried to update it again and then my ipod went wompy and showed the folder with the exlmation point so i reset my ipod and it now wont show up in itunes to be able to update it it does show up in windows....i went to the support page and followed all the steps that is for ipod shows up in windowns but not in itunes...but it still wont show up...ive read all the post regarding this topic and none of it seems to help
any suggestions?
any way to find out if its my ipod or my computer?
i am going to hook it to my frinds computer and see if it shows up there but have yet to do so

TO check if its your computer see if you have service pack 2 (right click on my computer and go to properties and click on the gneral tab) if not it can be downloaded at microsoft.com. If you have SP2, check it on someone elses computer who has the software installed. If you dont have anyone close to you who has a computer with the software installed check out the apple stores they do basic trouble shooting the store (you have to make a reservation at apple.com/retail, or you can make a walk in appointment). If you dont you can call apple support 1-800-275-2273. If you dont want to call support you can send your ipod in for repair at http://depot.info.apple.com/ipod

Quiz not showing results

I don't know why but I always have trouble with Quizzes in Adobe Presenter. I recently published a new module and the quiz appears but it won't show the results and it won't advance to the final slide of the presentation after the quiz is complete. I did get an error message when I saved the presentation (before I published it) but the quiz component still shows up in the published module....just not the results. I am still using Adobe Presenter 6 and I downgraded the ppt. to 2003 since the new version of ppt. has been a known problem. Does anyone have any advice?

I just now had the same problem (well almost... mine would advance after the quiz results page, but the results weren't showing). The solution that worked for me was to delete the Quiz Results page then go into the Quiz Manager and click OK. AP then generated a new Quiz Results page, which worked fine.
Thought I'd post this in case anyone else is searching through the forum because they're having the same problem (or if it happens to me and I forget how I fixed it)!

Photoshop CS5 help file not showing on German Win7

Hi,
I try to display the help file from within PS CS5 and that is not working. I can neither watch the community help online nor download it for offline use since the app seems unable to connect to a working online source.
It shows "The requested URL /de_DE/Photoshop/cs/using/AH_HOME.html was not found on this server."
All apss have been updated to the newest release, everything else is working fine.
I sue Win 7 64bit german, ps is also installed in german.
Any ideas?

Help selection not showing on menubar

Hello, I have just updated the Firefox browser on my PC and on the menubar at the top the 'Help' selection is missing. All that is showing is 'File - Edit - View - Bookmarks - Tools'.
Why is 'Help' missing, and how can this be restored?

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Captivate 6 not showing complete in LMS

I can't get captivate 6 projects to show completed in my LMS (successfactors AICC format). I can get captivate 5 project to show closed but not captivate 6. Any ideas?

Captivate 6 had totally revamped drivers for SCORM and AICC. Adobe ditched the ones they had used previously and went with Rustici drivers. Rustici are the people that make the SCORM Cloud LMS.
I recommend you try uploading your content to SCORM Cloud to see if it works fine there. If it does, then the issue is with your LMS, not your Captivate content.

Help - photos not showing

I haven't edited any of my photos, yet although they show up as thumbnails (but not in 'Events') when I click on any, all that comes up is a huge exclamation mark. Help please!

Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

PLS HELP: Video not showing up when inserting into timeline

hi everyone:
I recorded DV footage into FCP6. I have the DV footage opened in viewer and I set the in and out points. I drag the viewer footage into the timeline. But only the audio shows up in the time line.
How do I enable it so video can be inserted again?
I did some research and I'm aware there is the v1, a1, a2 on the left side of the timeline bar. If you disconnect v1, a1, or a2 it won't import into timeline on insert. However, even though I have v1 connected to v1 the video still won't show.
May someone help? This project is time sensitive.

It everything was recorded properly. Video and audio was captured while doing log and capture.
I was ediiting and I could insert video and audio files fine. Then I just created a new sequence and now it only inserts audio not video. I tried to insert video in my previous sequences that had video but now video can't be inserted either.
Did I hit some sort of key on the keyboard by accident that disabled the video insert?
Yes the v1 is connected to v1, it is both snapped together when I import video so I don't understand why FCP is not importing video from my sequence, unless it's a bug?!

Search help is not showing list of objects available in ID

Hi Everybody,
I developed some business objects( Message Interfaces ) in Integration Repository and transported these objects from developement system to Quality system. After successful transportation i am able to see these objects in IR
(Quality system) also. While doing configuration in Integration Directory of Quality System, i need to assign this Messge Interface to one of Business service. We all know that we will assign this Message Interface by using search help at Receiver/Sender level in Business service. But here in the search help i am not able to see my Message interface which actually exists in Integration Repository.
I have tried out by clearing cache and make sure that the object is active, even then also i am not able see my message interface in search help.
So, please help me if any one gets this situation earlier and how to resolve this?

When you go to SXI_CACHE in QA server . Click on Mappings on the left hand side and see if the mappings are available in cache.
