Hello Manu,
In the support project, the client is already run their business on SAP so you can think of some kind of the scenarios i.e. create new SLoc, create new material group, create new pur group, create new condition type. For this kind of requirement, client will create the ticket and the service partner (consulting firm) will provide the business solution or application solution. This is simple scenario. Now, all the thread is created by someone who were haveing problem with SAP system or wants to know the additional information and as a SDN contributor we are providing them support. so in our case, all thread will be treated as tickets and successful answers for that query are solution for those tickets.
Personally, I have not seen any documentation for tickets. But checkout in the first thread of this forum which explains about tickets and the process for tickets.

    what type of tickets generally get regarding reports.

    <b>SAP Tickets</b> are nothing but problems or issues raised by the end
    customer in a company where end users are running SAP project.
    Once the SAP project is implemented, support phase begins. Support
    team is responsible for solving the tickets/issues in day-to-day
    business.
    For any support project, customer will set up Help Desk. If any
    problem occurs customer will call Help Desk and register the
    issue/Ticket.
    Different companies use different software products to manage SAP
    Tickets. Remember this software is not provided by SAP. It is third
    party software. There are many software products in the market like
    Manage Now et c. You can call these software products as tools.
    All tools will provide the common attributes which are listed below-
    1) Every user will be provided with user name and password to enter
    into the tool
    2) We can see the tickets assigned for a particular user name.
    3) You can list all open tickets by giving the Date Range
    4) You can list all closed tickets by giving the Date Range
    5) You can list out all the open tickets assigned for an User
    6) You can list out all the closed tickets assigned for an User
    7) You can see the description of the Ticket, by entering the Ticket
    Number. You can see who had raised the Ticket, what is the problem.
    What is the severity of the Ticket?
    There are lot many other attributes like you can transfer the Ticket
    to another user etc.
    <b>What is the severity of the problem Ticket?</b>
    When a Ticket is raised, it will be given severity. There are
    following severities. It may vary from company to company.
    Severity 1
    Severity 2
    Severity 3
    Severity 4
    The severity will be decided based on the business critical impacts.
    If there is large impact on the business it
    will be given 1 severity, if it is having least impact then it will be given 4.
    Severity 1 problem tickets should be solved in 8 hours.
    Severity 2 problem ticket should be solved in 16 hours.
    Severity 3 problem ticket should be solved in 15 working days.
    Severity 4 problem ticket should be solved in 30 working days.
    Again the no of days may vary from one company to another.
    All these things will be decided when giving the contract to the IT
    company. The agreement is called as "SLA".
    SLA stands for Service Level Agreement.
    What happens if a particular ticket is not solved by the IT company
    according to the SLA/Contract?
    The Customer imposes fine on IT company as per the contract/SLA.
    <b>Errors in Extraction</b>
    1) RFC connection lost.
    2) Invalid characters while loading.
    3) ALEREMOTE user is locked.
    4) Lower case letters not allowed.
    5) While loading the data i am getting messeage that 'Record
    the field mentioned in the errror message is not mapped to any

    Sorry, but I don't know anything about that app.
    I did go to their Web site and I see they have a support link. Perhaps you can get help there or in their forum.
    If you are OK with a DVD with a basic menu, you could try the Share>DVD option in FCP.

    Make small search before posting the query there are tons of posts on the same issue</b>
    Generally in support The ticket will be raised by the end user through Global help desk. er. So if we need to see that sales order means we need to go for production system,.
    If we need to go for config changes, we need to do the config changes in client 'y' of the development system ( take a scenario that i have the land scape of development server with two clients like x, y and quality with client x and production with X) and transport it to the client X and do the testing. If every thing is Ok then transport it to the Qualitty server and test it. Here these testing documents in quality has to send to the enduser for his approval (UAT - User Acceptance Test). After getting the approval from the end user you can transport it to the production.
    After that you need to close the Ticket in the ticketing tool.

  • RH8 - Publishing Merged Projects with AIR Browserbased Help

    Hello,
    i have one master project with 5 subprojects. When i make an Output with Adobe Air "Browserbased Help" is the preview ok, all tables of Content from all projects are included.
    When i publish it to our webserver i first got a grey screen with an loading error.
    I discovered that the link in the start site  to the included file ac_oetags.js is incorrect because of upper and lower case writing. When i change the link, the site appeared correctly - but unfortunately only with the table of content of the main project.
    Is it possible to merge Projects with Browserbased Help?
    Has anybody an idea what went wrong?

    In the Start Page field you define where you want to generate the help.
    If you click the Server settings you define where you want to publish.
    When you publish the parent it goes to \\servername\myrobohelp and it creates a folder called mergedProjects and subfolders for each child.
    When you publish the children, your Server setting must point to those subfolders.
    Does that clarify? If not, please add some screenshot using the camera icon so that the images are in the post as above.

    So, on the Extreme you checked the box to "allow this network to be extened" ?

    And on the Express, you set it up to "Extend a wireless network" ?

    1. As a DP functional consultant you need to resolve all the incidents raised in APO DP module( Forecasting, lifecycle planning, master data in APO DP, Planning books, macros , release to APO SNP or R/3 or other systems, CVC maintenance etc) which will also include BW part of  SCM -APO related to DP, like data extraction and back up into and from infocubes. You will also support all the interfaces realted to APO DP , for the APO related part of the interface.
    You need to reoslve these incidents in the time frames defined by SLAs for the support project.
    You will have to also carry out problem management of some of the critical incidents so that incidents do not re-occur.
    Further you will have to support Release  /Change managment support( if it is part of your contract of Support project).
    This willl involve testing changes in quality system, before these are moved to production system.
    2 I found 2 crtical issues in APO DP support as below:
    2.1  Sales history extraction  data interafces from BW system used to have problems : technical problems of interface / jobs in BW running late, functional problems: sales history extract in BW not correct because various reasons 
      This used to lead to delayed job runs in APO and finally delayed forecasting and ptehr DP processes .
    By proactive monitoring by BW team and taking appropriate actions for master data issues, this issue occurance frequency was reduced , but not completely eliminated.
    2.2 Another major issue was related to back up process of APO DP planning data into infocubes. Finally by splitting the jobs as per daily, weekly and monthly bakc up procedure , we were able to resolve the issue.

    Hi, It is very difficult to find the file on the computer without the file name. If you have purchased the concert tickets, you must have recieved the tickets over email or they would have shipped the hard copy to you. Adobe Reader would only open the PDF file once we double click on it. PDFs wont saved automatically under reader folder. You need to find it again and ask the agent how they send the tickets to you. ~Pranav

    For what it is worth I have noticed a similar issue from the iPad3 while at work and home. At work we have two Apple TV 3rd Generation installed and tied to our A/V system. I believe the issue has to do with a timeout on the broadcast saying "here I am" and allowing devices to connect.
    For example:
    At work we have several Wi-Fi SSID being broadcast from Cisco APs. The only one we can use with the Apple TV is the one that uses a WEP since the others are either setup to be hidden, require web page authentication, or have a login requirement from employees. Essentially, what I believe the issue is that the Apple TV periodically broadcasts a message to other iOS devices that support Mirroring. When the Apple TV does not get a response from a device it goes into a dormant mode and requires either a command from the remote control or a reboot. This has been tested with both the power management enabled and not enabled with the same results.
    As for when I come home, the Apple TV3 has not seen the device in some time and therefore is not broadcasting it's location information. A simple click of the circle or menu keys on the remote will give it the command to start broadcasting again and allow the iPad3 to see the Apple TV. When trying to Home Share the computer can not play (iTunes 11, Win8RTM) until the Apple TV is awoken then it will show up for mirroing.
    This may or may not assist you but, it hopefully explains how the issue may be happening.
