Help Unmounting, Disconnection, Removing Camcorder Device

Hello,
Ive just recently bought a Canon HG10 (Harddrive HD Camcorder) and everything is working fine with iMovie and the camcorder...... except one thing. I cant figure out how to disconnect the camcorder itself!!! Ive gone through the manual, and it says:
'DO NOT DISCONNECT THE CAMCORDER FROM POWER SOURCES AND COMPUTERS BEFORE SAFELY REMOVING THE DEVICE THROUGH THE COMPUTER' -- as it gives reasons which link to harddrive damage and such
Okay, simple enough for a PC, however, when i looked for the magical desktop icon for the camcorder, there wasn't one, but it worked perfectly fine with imovie anyways. Which also meant that I couldnt dismount the thing "safely". I would greatly appreciate some help on this subject because i don't want to keep on just yanking the usb cord out against the will of the Canon warnings that appear in the manual every second page.
Overall, ive never had a camcorder before in my life and i want to avoid a stupid mistake. please help, thank you!

This is for iLife 08's iMovie though (which is what im using on my imac right now). Are you using the older generation iMovie? maybe it didnt have support for it then.
All I do to import the videos is the following;
1- plug in camera with usb and power plug
2- start up imovie
from there, it just tells me that it has found a camcorder device and asks if i want to use it for imovie. I dont actually do anything to find the camera, it finds iteself in iMovie 08'.

Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

since you may have started the 90 day window.
For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing.

If it's still asking for the seller's Apple ID and password, then he most likely did not actually remove the iPhone from iCloud. If the problem persists, return the iPhone and get your money back. The seller can figure out the problem and resell the iPhone later.

HT1386 I my Iphone is no longer synced to my computer. Is there a way to find out if it is synced? Can I removed a device that says my Iphone and sync it again to be sure?

My grandson syned his Iphone to my itunes with my cell phone name "janies Iphone" I think I disconnected the abilitity to sync my itunes but I am not sure.

How to remove a device which doesn't exist any longer

Since Snow Leopard iSync looks for my historic device Siemens S65 when syncing with MobileMe. I then removed the device from the bluetooth-list. But iSync is still searching and giving me an error alert.
In the iSynch menue you can add a new device but not remove an old one which is not connected.
The problem is, that the old Siemens S65 does not exist any longer.
Has anyone an idea?

But in addition: while syncing on my MacBook with MobileMe the process runs without starting the application iSync. On my iMac it does and after syncing it does not quit automatically.
Any explanation for that?

How do I remove previous device from iCloud account? (It is removed from Find My iPhone and iCloud Backup)

I recently got a new iPhone and traded in my old one. At the store, the representatives erased the contents and settings of the old phone (though they did run into some difficulties because of a pre-installed profile and I think were successful after a few attempts) and removed the SIM card. However, the old device keeps showing up on my iCloud account. I removed it from Find My iPhone and deleted the stored backup for the phone, but it's still there. I've talked with Apple Support about it as well as called the store on what I should do. Apple cannot remove the device on my account for me (which is fair), but I think it's strange that I can't remove my own device either. It won't give me any option to.
The Apple people reassure me not to worry and that everything is probably "fine", but I don't like this uneasy feeling that my iCloud account (and who knows what other data) might have an open connection or hole somewhere that I'm not aware about.
Please help!

Some people I've talked to speculated (but could not confirm) that this "glitch" would be fixed once someone registered their own iCloud account to the old device; this would force the old device to be removed from my iCloud account and transferred to the new user. How long have you been experiencing this "glitch"? I'm guessing if Apple calls it a glitch on iCloud, it won't be fixed any time soon...

I have an HP Photosmart 309 a All-In-One. It is attached to my desktop computer, which utilizes the Windows XP system. I've owned the All-In-One for about three years. I do not use the All-In-One -- or this computer -- very much. (I mostly use my laptop.)
I have not made any changes to this computer and/or All-In-One in quite some time. This error message is new. I do not have a USB device attached to the printer. Even with the error message displayed, the All-In-One allows me to print, but it will not allow me to make a copy or scan. How do I make this error message go away? What's wrong with my All-In-One? Many newer wireless routers can create more than one network simultanesouly. If I wanted to do this, I'd set up a separate network for my child to use, then change the password during those times I wanted him to stay off the net. Or just pull the plug and keep the wireless transmitted (the plug) where he couldn't reach it.
If you're using a recent Airport Base Station or Time Capsule there are better options.

The person who sold you the device can remove the ID without giving it to you. Follow the steos in "What to do if you no longer have the device." In the artcle below. If you can't find the person or they won't do it you're stuck with a unusable device.

Call AppleCare, because, according to Apple, removing the devices from your support profile should have fixed this issue. You can also try changing your Apple ID password, but given what you've done, I doubt this will help.

ITunes crashes each time I connect/disconnect ANY USB device... OR even Ethernet

I use the last version of both iTunes (11.1.5 64 bits, last version detected) and Windows 8.1 on an Asus G750J (64 bits) and for several weeks now iTunes crashes EACH TIME I connect or disconnect ANY USB device (not only my iPhone, but my external hard disk or my... mouse) and even my Ethernet port...
None of my other softawares are impacted

Reinstalling the 64 bit version in the x36 programm folder seems to solve the problem but it's not satisfactory. I'd prefer to keep the advantage of beeing under the 64 bits version.
