Help w/ lab connetion

setting up a lab again. here is what I have
2610 and 2501 rtrs
2912-xl and 2924-xl.. this may be a dump question. I am not able to ping from labsw2-2912 to other interfaces. am setting this lab wright or I am missing someting, the DCE and DTE connection interfaces seems to talkk to each other

You cannot ping R1 because there's no route back. On R1, configure a static route or dynamic routing protocol b/w R1 and R2
The easiest thing would be to add a static route on R1 to the 10.0.0.0 major network
ip route 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 [R2 serial interface ip address]
I also see that you have set up R1 and R2's serial interface ip address to 192.168.1.3. Please correct that as well. And according the diagram the default gateway on labSw2-2912-xl must be 10.0.0.3 [R1's e0/0 ip address]

Decision help for lab / school

I have a small school. We are are all on 10.6.8. Classrooms, admin/teacher offices and a student Lab are the three primary groups within our org.
I currently only use general logons for students - via class. ie, Grade6 - all grade6 students log on at the same time with same logon. this works for most things, but not for some things. I want to move to individual logons for the students. but, I have to consider the rest of the network, and advantages and disadvantages of this...
Should I setup a second OD server just for the lab / students?
What are some advantages and disadvantes of putting the kids on the same OD as the the rest of the school / separating them?

Here are some thoughts on that. Some advantages of a 2nd server would be to balance the workload between servers for AFP and other services. Criteria to consider here would be the number and types of services you have running on your servers. Another consideration would be your network infrastructure. I believe a single OS X server is capable of handling 175 simultaneously logged in users. How efficiently it can do this depends upon the type of work being done and how big the files that are being moved around might be. If your switching at gigabit throughout the network, with gig nics in most of the workstations, it should be fine. However YMMV. Another minor consideration woud be security for staff and admins. Good passwords for staff here should handle that consideration in your environment. If your single OD server is efficiently handling the load which you are putting it under now, I would think that there would be no need for a 2nd OD server.

Any idea? After clean up all routers and switches config files, sw3 still asks for radius username and password.
When console login and using 3550 password recovery procedure, it still asks for username and password.
When config aaa new-model, no username is asked only the passowrd cisco in typed in. (please see detail config file in the following)

Looping through nested datasets

My apologies in advance if this has been asked before, but the search function on these forums doesn't appear to be working at the moment...
Using: Spry 1.6.1
Dreamweaver CS5
IE 7 and 8, Firefox 4, and Chrome 10
The question:
I have a parent xml dataset, with two nested datasets, like this:

     var dsLessons = new Spry.Data.NestedXMLDataSet(dsTopic, "lesson");
The data displays properly in the html, using regions, etc. However, when I try looping through them using javascript:
     topics = dsTopic.getData();
     for (var t = 0; t < topics.length; t++) { //loop through the topics dataset
          dsTopic.setCurrentRowNumber(t);
          var top = dsTopic.getCurrentRow();

It will perform both loops properly, displaying the correct information for each dataset in Firefox 4, but in IE 7 and 8, and in Chrome it will list each of the Topics correctly, but only displays the first set of lessons.
The xml looks like:

Adobe CS6 Applications not opening after installation via AAMEE

I setup AAMEE with the desired CS6 apps, disabled updates, installed the AAMEE package on the master image then deployed it out to several Mac labs. Most of the clients are fine but on some, when I try to open Photoshop or Illustrator, etc., the icon appears in the dock along with the Adobe Application Manager icon. Both icons appear and disappear simultaniously, and theres no way to force quit anything. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please help, the labs need to be CS6 ready by this Friday..
Here is the error log I get, and it keeps repeating:
"1/9/13 10:51:49.290 PM PDApp: CFURLCreateWithString was passed this invalid URL string: '/System/Library/Frameworks/' (a file system path instead of an URL string). The URL created will not work with most file URL functions. CFURLCreateWithFileSystemPath or CFURLCreateWithFileSystemPathRelativeToBase should be used instead."

Having the same problems here too. There does not seem to be any rhyme or reason for this either. First, this was happening only on a couple of my Macs, now it seems to be affecting over 50% of them on campus.
I am wondering if there was a bug in a recent Adobe CS6 update that I may have pushed out when using RUM.

Spacing of Spry Menu submenu items, and inserting background images

Hiya, need a bit of help, could someone possibly guide me with this?
I've created a Spry Menu in DW CS5 - so far, so good.. However I'm pretty new to CSS Styles so need pointers at what to change to get the result I need. I've created the spry menu, however the submenu dropdown items are not flush to the ones above, theres a 1px horz gap between each item and while it looks okay, its particularly visible in Firefox and Chrome and would prefer no spacing at all..

if you take a look at the drop down menu bar you'll see what i mean - what do I need to do to remove the spacing?
I also want to replace the solid colour with images, where do I specify the images for 1) top menu item 2) submenu item and 3) 'hover' item, and do I need to make any areas transparent?

Imagine that I'm programming this for acquiring with Lab_ISCAN_Start and timebase 1us with sample interval 33 which means 30303,030303 Hz (3 channels, or 10101,01010 Hz/chnl). I need to know if it's certain to say that point n acquired has happened exactly at n*3.3*10E-5 seconds. which is, for example, that point 80000 has been acquired at 2,64 s. from the beginning of the Scan. And how accurate is that.

Be aware that this depends on the number of channels in your scan list and where it is in the scan list. In the Lab_ISCAN_Start() function there are two numbers you are concerned with. The sampInterval and the sampTimbase. (And the scanInterval if you choose to use this.)
First, determine when the particular channel you are interested in is sampled. This depends on which channel it is in the scan list. The Nth channel will be sampled at N*(sampInterval*sampTimebase) seconds.
Then, your scan period. The scan period will either be the scanInterval, or (if scanInterval is 0, 1 / (number of channels * (sampTimebase * sampInterval)).
The Mth sample of channel N will be sampled at
M*(number of channels * (sampTimebase * sampInterval))
+ N*(sampInterval*sampTimebase)
You might also look at the NI-DAQ Function Reference Help for this function for more information. This is accurate to within the base clock specification in your boards user manual.
Also, how long will it take to pass 75750 points with DaqDBTransfer? You can get a good estimate by using the above formula. Then you can guess there will be a few us of software overhead for the actual transfer.

Colored lines in the highlights

Hello All,
As you can see I am getting these lines in the white highlights. Have no idea way.
Photoshop CS3, Camera Raw 4.6, Mac G4, OS 10.4.11
Will get same result from Nikon D70 and Nikon D90.
Used PS Elements several years ago without this issue.

As evidenced by the above, "supposed to show up" is a difficult thing to nail down. They can be downloaded and later versions of Photoshop bring more of them, which then show up in older versions.

I take it from your question that you are not seeing any other profiles in there. I did download beta profiles at one time (evidenced by the "beta" nomenclature), but ACR 4.6 came with Photoshop. I'm thinking that on all our systems where it works okay an earlier, faulty profile may have been overwritten with a new, improved copy of the same name by a later version of Photoshop, however, as all these profile files go in the same place.
Something to try: Find copies (possibly on the Adobe Labs site) of newer Camera Raw profiles for your particular cameras and copy the files into /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/Camera on your Mac.

I have adobe reader 11 and it isnt working anymore

I have windows 7 and my adobe reader isnt working anymore now that I have upgraded to the latest version. It opens the PDF up and then times out and says there is a error and the program is closing! I have tried repairing it and uninstalling it and then reinstalling it several times.....and nothing works. Please help.

Can I get stepped out put voltage signal for controls from the BNC with Labview?

I am new user to NI Labview. I am working in controls applied in Combustion sciences. I want control the Solenoid valve ( Jefferson made,230 V, 11 W) in stepped manner. BNC (2110) is used for the input signal (Piezoelectric pressure transducers) and output signal. The maximum out put voltage from BNC is 5 V. Can I get the out put voltage in stepped and increasing order to ensure the better controls of the solenoid valve?
Also I would like to know, is it possible for me to control the working frequency ( Injecting) of the solenoid valve with the help of Lab view?

Just having the same issue there, which is real not fun, I have not tried to contact them, but looking at your experience I am not sure if I should.
My key comes from the back of a laptop o so I guess that would be a W7
OEM, and that could explain why you can't download a ISO from their website, would that also your case ?
Also could it be because we are attempting to get the ISO after the product became EOL ?
