Help with post-operation Plug-in
Hi,
I am currently developing an post-operation plug-in for the Netscape Directory Directory. Does any body know whether I can determine the LDAP operation result in my post-operation plug-in? This information is needed because my plug-in should only perform its task when the LDAP operaton completed successfully.

I have a servlet that displays a text field that allows a user to enter a query that will pulls back results from a database. The code below is what I use to call the query servlet after the query button is pressed.

in your JSP. I haven't verified this code but it should be about right.
Then in your servlet you use the request.getProperty("query") which should return the string from your text field named query.
If you want to use constants stored in a Constants class (to prevent typing errors) just use :

And in your servlet :

I need help with my operating system
Okay, little bit of background:
I bought the iMac second hand from a family friend who we no longer have contact with, the operating system etc was already installed.
The disk drive on the mac is broke (I dont have the disks anyway, so it would be no use)
I never purchased the operating system, like I said, it was pre-loaded.
A few programmes weren't running correctly and the computer was just generally running slowly, so I decided to just restore the system as there was no important data on it and it would run faster in the end, and I figured the programmes would run properly again once restored.
Anyway, I unknowingly deleted the operating system in the process of the restore (I thought it would only delete personal data like it does on my windows PC)
I have no restore disk (a broken disk drive anyway), my apple ID was not used to buy the operating system, so therefore it cant be used to restore the operating system, I also never backed up the harddrive externally so it cant be reinstalled from that.
My problem: I have no operating system and no way of recovering it. I read about Mavericks and because its free, I decided to try and download it, but with no operating system, the mac can only run 'Safari' and wont save things I try to download to the harddrive (it just says theres no space and the download doesnt happen). I also tried to access the App Store from Safari to try to download OS X lion on my apple ID, but once again, when using Safari on a mac without an operating system, it is very restrictive and I cant access the download page.
I have no idea what to do and live miles away from the nearest apple store.

<Edited by Host>Ah. Well, then you have an itty-bitty problem. You need to backup your files to start with. You will need your retail Snow Leopard installer DVD which your friend should have provided to you. If he did not then ask him to bring it to you. It belongs to you along with the original distribution discs that came with computer when it was new.
Do the following once you have the Snow Leopard DVD:
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
(Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
Upgrading to Lion
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

or Xeon processor
2. 2GB of memory
3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)

As an aside to this: All actual 2007 iMacs are able to run Mavericks. So rather than buying Lion you may prefer to upgrade to Mavericks which is Free. -
Help with posting a vendor invoice through MIRO.
Hi,
We are having an issue with posting an invoice through MIRO where the purchase order has large number of lines cause it to exceed the 999 limit of SAP for the accounting document. While we are researching as to how to address this. I need help on how to get the invoice in and pay the vendor in the interim.
There are 171 PO lines, the max I believe that can be handled is 165 with out giving grief to the system.

Please help with nested audio plug-ins
I have built three sequences with audio mixer settings for each (compression, EQ, etc...). I nest these individually and want to organize them in a "final output" sequence. As the three sequences are placed in the "final output" sequence, all video clip references work fine, but the audio mixer settings do not follow the audio clips to the "final output" audio.
How can I get the individual sequence audio plug-ins to follow the audio to the final output audio?
I have rendered work area, rendered audio, and linked audio to video clips, still I am missing something...

when nested, should become:
Master sequence: {Nested sequence A : Audio 1 (compression at 10)} , {Nested sequence B : Audio 2 (compression at 15)} .
but the compression settings do not come through at all.
Ideally, I would be able to use the audio settings from individual sequences as built, then the program would feed them (as built) to a master output just like the video clips...but for some reason voiceover compression from sequence A (which is different from sequence B) is not applying to the output of the master sequence at all...
as it exsists now, I would have to rebuild all of my audio on the master sequence because any audio mixer changes are not carrying through...
I must be missing something...

Need help with Post Process Event
Hi all:
I need to implement user login generation thru a post process event. I read lots of posts about this and followed the steps described. So this is what I did:
- Created a java class that implements PostProcessHandler and implemented the execute method. I added in both execute methods (EventResult and BulkEventResult) a statement to log message to a tmp file.
- Created the plugin.xml
- create a zip file with class and plugin.xml.
- Put zip file in plugins directory.
- Registered the plugin.
- Created the EventHandler.xml file to define the postprocess event on User Entity CREATE operation.
- Imported the Event metadata.
Everything went well. Until I ran a reconciliation, and nothing is being called.
Am I missing any steps?? I read that people successfully implemented this. Is there something I should do for lib folder or classpath...

I created my EventHandlers.xml in a temp folder with a space name:
The temp folder: /tmp
and under tmp folder I have the following:
/metadata/user/custom/CustomPostProcessEvent/EventHandlers.xml
I am going to change the EventHandlers.xml location:
keep /tmp directory but
Remove the metadata tree
and create /db/EventHandlers.xml

Please help with Posting Keys For Fast Entry (t.code OBXJ)
Dear experts,
Please help me to be more familiar with configurtation of Enjoy Transactions (t.code OBXJ). I want to configure fast entry transaction and change standard assignement of posting key. But there are no editing options in this transaction, just three transaction keys are predefined and posting keys are assigned to them (those are changable). But where to see what those transaction keys mean? And what could be your proposals, how to configure this IMG step?

t.code OBXJ is for automatccly postings, normal you never change the standard posting keys.
In the block line items you can select colums you need and place the one's you need to the begin of the screen and in the right top corner of posting line items you can click an save this as (default) variant.
When you want to use an other posting keys you use the option complex posting (F6)

Sorry, I don't think there's any way to get exactly what you requested. The values you give in the PIVOT ... IN clause are exact values, not alternatives.
You could do something like this to map all alternatives to a common value:

Help with POST data if multiple selections are chosen
I've created a form with a menu (list) that includes all 50
states. I'm using the POST option, along with PHP, to process the
form data, which will be emailed to me. The list-menu looks like
this:

and I have "Allow Multiple Selections" checked in the Property
Inspector.
If the user chooses multiple states, I want
EACH of those states to be listed in the email that I
receive. Right now, if I check multiple states, I only get
the very last state that's selected. For example, here's the
email I get after I check 5 different states.

Need help with 'division' operation in RTF template
We are using variables in RTF template to perform all data manipulations
To calculate columns where we need to do division operation, using ‘/’ or ‘DIV’ is not working.
Using <?xdofx: op1 DIV op2?> is working only when op1 and op2 are numbers like ex. <?xdofx: 100 DIV 50?> returns result 2.
But the same tag used for columns or variables is not working.
For ex.
<?xdofx: (xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'var1')) DIV xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'var2') ?> is not returning any result, though

Need help with 'post link to facebook' button in php
hi guys,
thanks for the interest in my post...
i want to have a button at the bottom of my main page layout (main.php) of the facebook logo where visitors can click on it to submit the page as a link to facebook.
how can i set the button so it will post the link to whichever page the visitor is viewing i.e. when they are reading a news article the button action will post main.php?id=news and when they are on home, main.php?id=home.

if you bought laptop from local store then you can just go to local store and RMA it there they will then pack it in and send it away to a MSI service in your country or maybe nearby country that can do repairs. -
Can anyone help with an operator service that hijacked my account.
I recieved a message from some international operator service which I can not delete. I can no longer make any calls without going through them .
I believe that was what we just did. It was reprogrammed. I am told i am in an extended network on Telecom towers. I have been here many times before without any such problem. waiting for the tech to get back to me. It was referred to a supervisor.

I have designed a 20 x 30 poster in indesign. It is essentially a family tree of pictures and name labels. When I view the image after printing as a PDF it looks wonderful - crips lines, nice photos. When I print it at Costco it looks awful. Pixelated photos, edges, and even text.
In order to submit the order I have to export the file as a JPEG. Costo told me to export it at 300 dpi. So I did. When I view the poster on my computer as a JPEG and I zoom in to "100%" it looks much larger than it should - but it looks great.
I understand there is likely different quality of photos involved in this project and I am okay and can live with that, I suppose...but here is what I don't understand:
1. Why does it look SO much better on my computer
2. I can understand the photo problems - but how come the text looks so poor too?
Am I exporting it too large? The JPG file says it is 9000 x 6000 pixels which should be right for 300 dpi ending up being 20 x 30.

When you choose the fast speed, we upload your images up to 5x faster by compressing them slightly prior to uploading them. There is no loss in the visible quality of your photos. The compression is just small enough to reduce the transmission speed while maintaining the visual integrity of your photos in order to produce high quality prints. Please choose the fast upload speed for print sizes up to 8x10.
Because there is a slight compression that would be noticeable only at large print sizes, it is best to choose the full resolution speed if you wish to produce enlargements beyond 8x10 or if you wish to use a photo on a large gift. While this will transfer your photos more slowly, it will ensure an appropriate resolution for large prints.
What file types work best with the Online Photo Center?
We have found that the .jpg file type works best, but you can upload .bmp and .tiff files as well.
I'm surprised they don't take PDF but perhaps a TIF file at 300 ppi might be better.
How did you save the .jpg in Photoshop? You can adjust the quality of the jpg from 12 (High Quality) all the way down to 1 (Low Quality) this changes the level of compression used.
A quick test show a 20x30 inch poster at 300 ppi using the highest quality12 is 9.5 MB. using the lowest quality 1 the file size is only 1 MB.
Note that differing levels of compression can change the image quality, however, the actual dimensions 6000 x 9000 pixels will remain the same!
So it's possible that:
The quality of your .jpg was set at a Low quality setting when saving from Photoshop.
Perhaps you selected the fast upload speed and the file got compressed on its way to Costco.
Or maybe your local Costco just messed up the printing. (talk to them if you think they messed up. They will reprint it for you)
Costo has their printer profiles available for download. See the bottom center of the home page of www.costocophotocenter.com. Click on this, select your state and scroll through the list of Costco locations and you can see the exact printers they use at your location and you can download the correct printer profiles.
Try finding printer profiles at Staples or FedEx Kinkos!
