Hi there, Im using photoshop cs6 and i have been trying to smooth skin. i have been duplicating the layer and choosing overlay in the blend drop down, then choosing filter, other, highpass, raduis of 9px then inverting the layer then i add a layer mask using alt and clicking the layer icon mask and then it tells me to use a soft brush to to paint over and revel the high pass layer but nothing is happening when i try to use the paint brush? can you help please? thanks Olivia

Photoshop cs6 installs successfully but after I shut down and restart computer it disappears.
I have tried to install the trial version of adobe photoshop cs6. When I do successfully install it and then shut off my computer and then restart the computer windows tells me that the application no longer works and that it has been moved somewhere. The program logo doesn't show up next to it instead a different logo shows up next to the program name. I am trying to re-install Photoshop CS6. The files have downloaded but I get and error message that the Adobe Support Advisor is required to determine what the installation probIem is. I click on the link that says "get the Support Advisor here only to be told the Support Advisor no longer exists!! A blind loop. I need to have Photoshop CS6 installed...what do I do from here??
The CC Cleaner Tool assumes the Akamai Download Manager is activated and it has not. It seems to be the missing file that triggers the error message. \in a previous re-install I was prompted to download & install the Akamai Download Manger, but not this time. Is there somewhere on the Adobe website that I can download it??

I am trying to animate a file in photoshop with vanishing point. And when I "Return 3D layer to photoshop", I'll get a cube with dimensions. It´s not what I can see in tutorials, a perfect 3D space. Using win7.

I am trying to save a photoshop CS6 psd file to jpg and get an option jpg, jpg2000 or jpg stereo, I choose jpg and then Mac 256 colours, normal or interlaced. I just want regular jpg with a high resolution. What am I doing wrong? , never had this problem before. Help!!!
Your description of the issue is not clear:
What format, bit depth and color was your original file "from the net"? It sounds like it was a Color Indexed GIF, which would cause what you are describing.
In the Macintosh Finder, select said "net image" and do a Get Info on it (Command+i). When the Info box appears in the Finder, take a screen shot and upload it here by using the little camera icon in the Reply Editor in the forum's web interface.
If the image is a 256-color GIF, remember the rule: GIGO = garbage in, garbage out. -
I had to replace the hard drive on my computer. I am now trying to download Adobe Photoshop CS6, previously purchased. I get an error that files are missing after waiting for the whole download. I have Windows7

Mobile me has been discontinued for over a year. What system and iPhoto versions are you running?
How are you trying to sync? With Photo Stream or thru iTunes?
Do you have an iCloud preference pane in your System preferences?

I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and did a migration of the content of the old laptop (also a Mac Book Pro) to the new one. Now I cannot start Photoshop CS6. The item may have been removed either permanently or temporarily between now and when you last downloaded it. There may be an problem with the App Store or your connection to it. Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears? Try waiting a couple of hours and trying again.
