Hide Account in Grid

In our account tree structure, there are some accounts that i do not want the end user to see it in grid. I know i can set up security class to limit the user's ability to see the account balance but not the account name. How can I limit the user's ability to see the account name. For example, there are 10 account, when user pull out a grid, i only want them to see 7 of the 10 account names.

Once you have it enabled for an account, and provided that you also have it for at least one scenario, you right click on a cell and select "Cell Line Item Detail". You fill in "Detail" and amount and once you save it sums up for you the amounts on the same cell.

This feature is not available in LabVIEW 6.0.x, but there is a minor grid color property in LabVIEW 6.1. If you really need this property, then I would suggest upgrading to LabVIEW 6.1.

Do you mean you want to use FGLayouts in 2014.1 with Design View?
Open your Fluid Grid CSS file and add an X as shown below. This will trick DW into thinking it's a normal layout so you can use Design View, spell check, copy & paste text, etc...

Hide Accounting Tab in CProjects

Hi All,
I want to hide the "Accounting" Tab in CProjects, depending on user authorizations.
I tried to realize it with BADI "DPR_DETAIL_TAB_CTRL".
Unfortunately in this BADI I can only hide tabs on detail level e.g.
tabs for tasks, phase etc.
But how can I hide tabs on a higher level like the "Accounting" Tab?

You can try with the Badi DPR_DETAIL_TAB_CONTROL, it can hide the Tab dynmically.
See the example codes for details:
Sets a detail tab Private (invisible) or Changeable (visible)
Do not use Mandatory or ReadOnly

How to hide account photo in mail

How to I get Mail to not show my account picture? I like my account picture, I just don't want it to print out or be seen in the upper right hand corner of my emails. How do I turn this off? I've looked and looked, but still can't figure it out. I still want iChat to show my pic as available. Thanks much, G

Hide / show grid in a graph programmaticly

I would like to hide / show the grid (minor / major) progammaticly. I try to create a property node, but I don't find the way to access the 'hide' property... Thanks.

I might need corrected, but I don't believe you can change the 'minor' grid color, but yes on the 'major'.
Its a Write-to property node called Grid colors, and you can have the X & Y grids as separate or Clustered together elements. You'll need to add 2 color boxes [Controls > Numeric palette] to your front panel (X & Y). The user's selection is a numeric value sent to the property node(s) you wired.

Hide alv grid PR custom subscreen

Hello All,
I have a custom subscreen on PR ( bulit via screen exit) with ALV grid and some screen elements ( to get input data from user) on it.
In create and change PR mode, I need to get the input ( could be multiple rows with the help of create next icon )from user and update ALV grid with the input values. But in PR display mode, I need to hide the ALV grid.
I tried using desctructor method FREE, but dint work.
Any suggestions?

I have a similiar problem:
I have a dynpro where there are different possibilities for ALV grids to be shown. I have 10 containers (that's the maximum number of ALV grids that can appear) and want to use the highest first. Now, it might be that I want to show another ALV in a container I have had an ALV before, therefore I must hide / delete / destroy the previous ALV in this container.
I use the FREE( ) method of the alv controls, I clear and free all references, but still, even after leaving and accessing the dynpro again, the ALV is shown. That's why I'd need some help here too...

GL accounts with no postings are appearing in Trial Balance

Hi Experts,
When the Trial balance is run by selecting the below parameters in 'Trial Balance Report Selection Criteria':
1. 'Hide Accounts with No postings'
2. 'OB from Start of Company Activity'
The G\L Accounts having no postings in the posting date selected and having transactions entered before this period are displayed in the Report.
However, in the General Ledger Report with similar selection criteria, the same G\L Accounts are not displayed in the Report.
As stated in note 1632198, the system checks for the data from the beginning of the company activity and doesn't take into account the posting dates selected in the selection criteria. It is also stated that this behavior is the current system definition.
So, please I would like that SAP changes this behavior and I believe that it will make more sense that the system considers the specific year selected in the posting date.

Hi,
The system logic is different for the General Ledger and the Trial Balance. Both the reports have different reporting requirements, Trial Balance being the display of the balances and opening and closing while Trial balance being the detailed output of the transactions happening during the F.Y. selected.
For having the zero balanced accounts not appearing in the Trial Balance, check whether selecting 'OB from start of Fiscal Year' helps you any way.

How to open a second grid, by clicking on first grid

On my htm page, i have a grid, by clicking on any of row of the first grid, i want to open a second grid, below the first gird, which will contain only the values of that row.
For the first gird, I am using the code      <PARAM NAME="DoubleClickEvent" VALUE="Doubleclick">
and i have written a function as Doubleclick in the java script.
Now want code i should write under the function (Doubleclick) in the java script.

How do I get rid of the grid lines that appeared when I opened my picture in Photoshop?

So I was going to edit a .jpg file in Photoshop and when I went to place it or open it in the software, it showed me this weird set of lines that sort of make a grid. How do I get rid of them since it overlaps with my picture?

How to Hide / Unhide iGrid Applet

I'm attempting to develop an irpt page which will feature two grids / applets. The topmost grid will be visible upon initial load of the page. Upon selecting a record from the top grid, I'd like to then unhide the bottom grid so that a user may select a row from it before then calling another page.
I've tried all of the following methods to hide / unhide the grid but none appear to be working:
1) Set the style.display of the applet to 'none' and then set it to 'inline' after row selection of the top grid.
2) Set the column widths of the bottom iGrid to 0 and then use the document.iGrid-applet.ColumnWidths=x,y JS command after row selection of the top grid.
3) Set the initial width of the iGrid applet to 1 X 1 and then use the document.getElementById("applet-iGrid").style.width / height = 'xxxpx' after row selection of the top grid.
None of these solutions work. It appears that once the iGrid applet is loaded, none of these properties may then be utilized to change it's appearance.
How can hide upon load and then subsequently unhide an iGrid applet??

Thanks Udayan - this worked.
Only other tidbit was that it appears you first have to set the style display to inline in the div tag (to ensure all subsequent object references to the grid are valid).
Then in the function called by the update event of your top iGrid applet, you have to hide the bottom iGrid/applet with the style="display:none" command.
Then in the function called by the selection event of your top iGrid applet, you have to unhide the bottom iGrid/applet with the style="display:inline" command.
This ensures the applet is first displayed (so that all references to the grid object are valid), hide it when the first (top) grid is displayed, and then unhide it when a row is selected from the first (top) grid.

Normally, you set DISPLAY to an IP address with the suffix : and 0.0: the IP address must match a machine able to display X11 windows.
Example with Linux bash shell:
export DISPLAY=192.168.0.1:0.0What is your OS version ? What is your shell (bash, ksh, sh, csh) ? How do you connect to the UNIX host ?

Master - Detail -- How to Hide page if no detail records

I'm hoping to be able to hide a page if no detail records exist for the master query.
My master query:
"Company" and "account" and balances for each account
(balances carry forward from previous months)
Detail Query:
transactions for each account for a month
-- Linked to the master by "account-id"
The master query is grouped into 2 parts:
a) Company
b) account and balance
Sometimes an account won't have any transactions during the month (especially if the report is run at the beginning of the month)
If I create a "summary" count field in the "account" group based on the transactions, then I can hide (not print) the "account" frame.
But I can't figure out how to do this for the "company" frame.
I'm probably missing something simple (or maybe not)
Any suggestions?

So basically you are showing each account on a separate page?
Move the objects shown in Company repeating frame to the account repeating frame. In this case company repeating frame will be blank. And your already created format trigger to hide account frame will work for both (company+account). So whenever any account is zero, it will hide all objects within the frame. Parent frame doesn’t contain any objects, it would not show the parent frame for that account. Make sure vertically elasticity of the frame is variable.
