My 5 year old daughter asked me to download a free app, tap pet store. THis I did and then she immediately downloaded the pocket gem upgrade costing
£69.99!!!
I have tried the customer support help line (35minute wait) then directed to express lane to report issue. Express lane keeps informing me that it cannot send the report.......getting very frustrated any suggestions?

Sorry, but according to Apple, iTunes Store: All Sales Are Final
You can avoid accidental purchases.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Parental tab.
Select: iTunes Store
Click OK.

Try downloading the current version of the iBooks app on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your account's purchase history. Then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and you should be able to download an older compatible version of the app.

and follow one of the "paths" to get what you need or to an Apple customer support employee. One path is to click Contact Support at the bottom of the list of choices, and use the Express Lane.
The iTunes app also has a way to report a problem with a purchase. Select iTunes Store in the sidebar (of the iTunes window). Toward the upper right corner, click on your Apple ID. This gets you to your Account Information screen. Find Purchase History and click See All. On that screen, you can select a specific purchase with that problem, and Report a Problem.

How do I get my money back? I tried to buy a phone from Verizon over the phone. They sent me a refurbished phone (without my knowledge) that allowed me to activate a pay as you go account. Then the phone would not open, so I could not use the account. I immediately contacted the number provided in the box and after a couple of hours I finally was able to get the helper to do a 14 day refund deal. I told him I was unhappy because I got a phone that did not work and wanted to quit the account and get a refund. Contact the credit card company and have them do a charge back.
Tell them the device was not new, and it was broken on receipt, tell them you cancelled the service and that you want your money back.
They will reverse the charge
The return phone not received scam is quite often posted here. Just search the forum. All you need is a tracking receipt to show it was given to the post office, or even scanned any place along the way and you are not liable.
Small claims court just loves these cases.

Hello, I was trying to purchase Whats app, when I try to enter my credit card info, it keep telling that my security number don´t match, but my credit card got charged, 3 time in a row. I can send a screen capture of the message telling that already charged my card.

How do you get your money back if the product/app you bought didn't download?

I tried to buy an iBook yesterday. I had enough money on my card to buy it. When I clicked the buy book tab, it said that my card was declined. So I checked my balance and it took my money but the book isn't there. Either my money needs to be put back on my card or that book needs to appear in iBooks.

Does the book show in the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks for downloading, and the amount that's come off your card is the book's price, it's not a temporary store holding charge (which should disappear within a few days or so) ?
If it doesn't show in Purchased then you could check to see if it shows in your Purchaes history so that you can use the 'report a problem' link from it : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link and fill in details about the problem (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).
If doesn't show there or the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (it's been taking some people to this site on a browser instead of showing a form in iTunes) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page.
For the card being declined, if it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes support as above and see if they know why it's being declined.

I gave my girlfriend an iPhone for christmas last year and told her it was safe to shop on the app store. I have been paying for that mistake ever since.
She quickly got interested in a fremium game called Dragon Vale and bought a huge pile of whatever dragon currency it had. She never recieved it.
I can't find a way to fix it. I tried going the the app store and report a problem on the game itself ... the report a problem on the currency pack ... Then I used the report a problem link provided in the purchase confirmation email.

The app may have been free to download, but did you then make any in-app purchases within it to unlock extra features ? You can turn off in-app purchases on your device via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off'

The question is ... Did you buy them, accidentally or otherwise? They are all part of iLife, the latest version of which is iLife 11.
iMovie/Garage band can all be bought through the App store as separate programs; iPhoto is a free update.
