How do I install Mac OS X-Server on my Intel Base-Dell XPS? What's I need to have for this installation?

I have Dell XPS with Quad core Intel CPU, 4 GB RAM and 500GB HDD + 500GB RAID. I really want to install Mac OS X Server on it but I can not find where to buy OS X Server and I'm not sure that it suitable to my XPS, I'm afraid that is not acceptable to install. Anyone have idea about this please give me some information,thank you.

I am afraid you won't be able to install Mac OS X server on you Dell computer. There are technical reasons for that as well as legal reasons: according to the "Software License Agreement for Mac OS X Server":
"This License allows you to install and use one copy of the Mac OS X Server software (the “Mac OS X Server Software”) on a single Apple-labeled computer at a time."

Did the Macbook come with Lion preinstalled or did you upgrade to it?
You need to sell it with the original OS installed, so if that was not Lion, you need to get the install disks by calling Apple and asking for replacement disks (they'll need your serial number).
FWIW, Lion did not come with an install disk - it is download only. If Lion was preinstalled, then post back for instructions on how to do that.

I started with 10.5.5, but was having lots of problems with MobileMe. I have downloaded 10.5.6 which I have heard is more stable but it won't allow me to install it with the following error message "You cannot install Mac OS X Server Update on this volume. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update." I have then downloaded 10.5.7 which installs fine but does not fix my original problem and I know it is less stable that 10.5.6. I have tried to install 10.5.6 again but same problem. Any ideas of what I have to do to my HD to make it happen?
The main problems I am having with MobileMe is registering the computer (it wont happen), syncing (it wont happen because the computer isn't registered), and publishing iweb updates.

You downloaded the wrong updater version. You downloaded an updater for OS X Server but do not have OS X Server installed, hence the error. The 10.5.6 Combo Updater is here.
You will have to provide more information about the problem you are having with MobileMe. And, you should login to your MM account online so you can post your problem in their specific forums.
Before you install a system update I suggest you see the following:

Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. Then select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger.) If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior (4.0 for Tiger) and/or TechTool Pro (4.5.2 for Tiger) to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.

Hello. Can someone tell me how I can install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on Mac OS X Tiger? I have the disk, but when I open the installer, I get a message saying that Snow Leopard could not be installed on my computer and it could only be installed on a Intel-Based Mac. This is a PowerPC Mac, so that makes sense.
So, I'm trying to ask how to make my Mac an Intel-Based Mac so I could install Snow Leopard. Or if I can't do that, I need to know how to install Snow Leopard some other way. Please help.

Just an FYI, the Mac App Store was introduced with Mac OS X 10.6.6. However the rest of what you say is accurate.
10.6.8 is required if you want to upgrade certain Macs beyond 10.7.5 without having to reformat the drive you are installing the operating system on and without having to install some version of 10.7 first.
One can actually install 10.7 or later if you maintain an original copy of the full installer of the operating system in question for your personal use without having to have the prerequisite operating system installed, if the hardware supported it. But that's a discussion for another forum.

No, because the flash drive is a recovery system. Which is basically the 'Installer' for OS X, and so after you put in the New SSD, you boot to the flash drive (Boot holding down "option" and select the flash drive) and choose "Reinstall OS X" which will download (from Apple servers) and install OS X onto the drive you select. (You may need to use Disk Utility to format the drive to Mac OS Extended {Journaled} first)
