How do I reopen the status bar and menu bar, I accidentally unchecked one of them and now they are not accessible by right clicking anywhere on the browser
If you right click on the top bars in the browser you can check and uncheck what bars appear. I accidentally unchecked something there and now when I right click I cannot get any menu to recheck my menu, status bars so that they are visible. They are currently not visible, I have no way to navigate or change any settings.
OK, got it fixed, I kept fishing around on this site and found an answer. Depress the Alt key and the menu bar temporarily appears, long enough to restore the bars to be visible.

I downloaded movies onto my iPad to watch when I was abroad, I synchronised with my laptop and now they are not on my iPad how can I get them back?
If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced. -

On 8th Feb 2015, I called Verizon customer care for internet FIOS account setup and initiated the same with the CCE named Jenine, in this process she took my SSN #, Debit card # and charged me $100 from my account as a deposit money without completing my order and she didn't gave me any account number or order number and call got disconnected, now when I am calling Verizon customer care for my order status or refund of my deposit money back, NOBODY absolutely NOBODY is helping me to get my deposit back, each department is saying that they don't handle this, talked with customer care, financial team, payment and billing, sales and order all of them trying to fool me around, also customer care is saying they are not able to fetch my account details as order was not completed and so on...I am having very horrible experience and difficult time talking to all the Verizon representative and get my money back. As a proof I have my bank statement which shows Verizon charged me $100 with transaction number.
Is there anyone who can help me out here or else do I to file legal complaint against Verizon.

Downloaded 3.6.13 today and now I can not use my right click function when trying to open a new tab!

I think you can still save that music that you imported from CD to your computer and later suscribe to iTunes Match so that content is also sync in the subscription. I found this article that show you how to transfer those purchases from the iPad to the computer :

I wanted to print all the emails from a gmail label. My googling suggested that Thunderbird would do this. I didn't see any warnings about Gmail's stealth setting that it would ERASE me emails from the server, but it did. And now Thunderbird has no emails in it, leaving me with years of lost work and pictures. It has been over 30 days since this happened, as I didn't realize it had happen as, oddly, it didn't erase all of the emails, just some (likely because Thunderbird crashed every time I tried to use it and didn't do a full pull of my gmail e-mails, but kept telling me it was out of space which it was not as I have a huge drive).
Does anyone have a suggestion regarding where I can find my e-mails? I tried to do a restore on my backup drive (where I had downloaded and used thunderbird) but it says there are no earlier versions. I am in the process of begging gmail to help me, but I don't know if they can.Well, the only thing you can do is go to Gmail in a web browser and hope your e-mails are still on the server. If they were deleted there, then there really isn't a way to get them back. :(

My daughter and me use the same cloud and apple id to buy songs in the past. I got first iphone 5 and after trying to set up itunes to phone I ended up with all my daughters contacts from her iphone on my iphone. That's what happens when you share the same iCloud account. First, migrate his phone to a different iCloud account using a different ID (you can continue to share the same ID for other services such as iTunes if you want). To do this, on his phone save any photo stream photos that he wants to keep to his camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If he are syncing notes with iCloud that he wants to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to him so he can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in his new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your phone), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload the data. After doing this, he can go to icloud.com and safely delete your data from his new account.
Then, if your contacts were on your phone when you last backed it up to iCloud, you can restore them by following Winston Churchill's user tip here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. This involves turning off your wifi after your phone restarts during the restore process, then saving the contacts on your phone and deleting them from iCloud prior to turning your wifi back on and allowing the restore process to finish. You can turn off your wifi either by pulling the cord out of the WAN port in your wifi router, or by simply unplugging it. -

Mac and Mac models are picky about the RAM the Mac needs to see and use.
As you have found out, the 1067 speed RAM will not work in your year and model iMac.
You need the 1333 speed RAM.
If, you can return the RAM for a refund, do it!
If not, try online Mac RAM source and seller Crucial memory. They have a table that matches your Mac to the correct and reliable RAM. You may need to contact them to see whether or not they ship to South Africa, though.
If Crucial dpesn't work out, here's the specs for your year and model iMac that you need to seek out and purchase.

If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account

Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option -

They open in Preview by default.
However, if you open Picture Folder in Preview, navigate to any photo ( without opening it ) then right click on the photo and select Get Info from the dropdown menu.
About 2/3rds' of the way down on the Get Info tab you'll see a Marker ' Open WIth '. Enter whichever editing program you're using.
Whenever you open a photo from whatever it's location it will open in the chosen editing program.

You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
