How do we report bugs to Apple?

Does anyone have a link to Apple support that allows us to inform them of bugs in 10.5? I know that we can submit logs when an app crashes, but I'm looking for something more general. In my case, my Expose hot-corners don't work when Disk Utility is frontmost.

At the feedback website (http://www.apple.com/feedback) under feedback type select "Bug Report". That is the official way to submit a bug report.

Safari's "Report Bugs to Apple" option in the Help menu

On submitting a bug report (via the "Report Bugs to Apple" option in the Help menu), I get a generic Windows XP message saying "Safari Web Browser has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." after which Safari closes itself down.

Reporting bugs to Apple?

Hi all, I've looked all over the Apple site, through the support pages etc, I can't find a page or e-mail address etc to report a bug to Apple
anyone know how to go about this?
this Apple TV re-syncing bug is driving me nuts, and well user to user forums are great and all that but I would like to tell them directly if I can

hi over the past month have received maybe 5 scam emails from apple.
I opened one the other day cause I thought well maybe it is from apple.
went through the steps and it was amazed at how well they did at copying apple website. you could even go to the apple shop page from their page!
what set me off that it was fake was that I tried to open the other apple pages along the top and it wouldn't let me. so I opened my own apple page and logged in. and realised that they don't ask for your bank details in your Apple ID account.
anyways so now what has happened is I got an email today " from myself" with this same scam email. it is as if they have hacked my email account and sending me these emails. I want to report this to apple but am unable to find any contact details apart from call back options. does any one have any advice on this.

I've had that same exact issue, I received the first e-mail claiming to be from Apple last night (though over the past week I've received two other scam e-mails from different addresses claiming that my bank transactions have been aborted). It said it was from my own address, and I checked it closely to make sure it wasn't a spoof account but found it was indeed my own e-mail address. Five minutes ago I changed my password, and I have just now received a second e-mail exactly the same, still coming from my own account. My best guess at an explanation is that it may have been sent before I changed my password and there was just a delay in the message sending, resulting in it coming through after changing my password.
I've now forwarded the e-mail on as an attachment to the [email protected] address, however this still doesn't help me with regards to stopping these e-mails. It concerns me that even though I changed my password they still possibly have access to my account. I tried checking my account activity but as opening the mail app on my iPhone is considered as a log in and I check it almost twice an hour, it's impossible to tell which could possible be an intruder logging in.

interesting observation in the German interface:
set iMovie prefs to 'show no frames' in time ('9s' instead of '9:00')
in the German interface, the abrv. for second in use is 'sek' ('9sek')
these two extra letters obviously kill some internal math of iMovie:
entering '53' into the Inspector results in 10min = max length
'53,00', '53:00'. '00:53', '0,53' - no difference!
setting iMovie to English on same Mac results in correct handling.
in case, your interface language arbreviates 'seconds' to something more than just one letter, please test it.

Back when lots of folks used dialup, there was the issue of call-waiting - it would disconnect an active connection. There was a key combination you could punch into the phone to disable it - Google showed me how:

So call waiting might be the problem. Or phone line quality might also be it. You can probably get your local provider out to test the line quality, but I don't think they ever claimed the voice line would have a level of service guaranteed good for data transmission. But it seems unlikely that the modem would be the issue - if it works, i'll work until it completely dies. I have no idea how you might go about testing a modem these days.

I hope you enabled "Find My Mac" on that computer, because with any luck, Logging into your iCloud account could yield its location if the thief tries to use the computer. It ain't much, but it's a far stretch better than just "reporting it" to the police.

HT1222 ever since updating my iPad to its 5.1.1 my apps are constantly crashing, including safari, Netflix and others. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Dos anyone know how I can report it to apple? I'm having a hard time finding where to do that.

Just as I was posting this question, my entire iPad crashed, giving me the symbol indicating it was revving back up it I had to plug it in & press the main power button to get it to come back.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. I keep receiving fake billing requests from apple. I check my account online without using the email, and it is OK. How do I report this to Apple? I cannot find an apple email address to report it to. Thanks.

The emails appear to be coming from [email protected] which appears legitimate. It includes the large .mac logo. The words: "After a few clicks, just verify the information you entered is correct." seem to me to give it away, as well as the fact that it is NOT my .mac email id -- it's an alias email.
There are also 84 other .mac addresses in the address line. I just thought Apple might like to know that someone is trying to get account information, and I wanted to forward it to them.

Where do you report bugs to Apple? On the support page there is a link to leave feedback about iTunes. But, that page is restricted to requesting songs, artists, genres.
