How to consolidate service item and finished product into a billing doc.

There are two items in my sales order.
one is the finished product, therefore I need to do delivery and billing.
another one is a service item, so i don't need to do the delivery but billing.
When I do the billing, the system split two billing document for this sales order.
How can I consolidate this two items into a billing document? and that is normal invoice for business.

Please search the forum before posting questions as similar questions are answered before, see for example Multiple item categories on one order and Billing Document
If this does not help resolve, then be specific to provide where the issue happens.
Regards,
If you solve by yourself, can you provide the details?

  • How to create service items and sales order for service contracts.

    Hi,
    I have created item using Purchased Item template and one more item(service item) using service /warranty program template. Then I have used these items to create sales order with service item in it and closed that order , but Iam not getting this order in service contracts. Is this right way to create sales order for service items. I
    item name:- personal_computer
    copied from purchased order template. service is enabled and install base is checked and enable service coverage is enabled.
    item name:- service_item
    copied from service /warranty program template
    service is selected to inactive,
    service type: service
    duration: 1 year
    template: Gold
    and saved the item.
    Then I have used these two items in sales order for service contracts. But that sales order is not hitting in service contracts. Is there any error with item creation.
    Thanks,

  • How to copy header items and paste it into a new channel

    Hi everybody,
    i'm trying to customize my tasks with DIAdem and got some big problem. I have a channel table in VIEW with 295 columns and have added a new column.In this column i want to write all the Header Items i've got.
    I've created a new channel with:
    Call ChnAlloc("Betriebsdaten_akt_Monat", 295, 1,DataTypeString,"Text")
    Call Zusfassg.Columns.Add(296)
    Then I use this command to read the header items:
    Set MyHeaders = View.ActiveSheet.ActiveArea.DisplayObj.HeaderItems
    But how could i now paste all these items into the new column i've created?
    Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind regards
    Patrick

    Hello Patrick,
    to be honest, I did not completely understand what you are trying to do - so if the answer does not fit 100%, please give me some more information about your task.
    Within the DIAdem Help (topic: Object HeaderItem) you can find this short script:
    Set oMyHeaders = View.ActiveSheet.ActiveArea.DisplayObj.HeaderItems
      For Each oMyHeaderItem in oMyHeaders
      Call MsgBoxDisp(oMyHeaderItem.Name)
    Next
    It calls a messagebox for each configured headeritem. If you want to write the titles of these items into a new channel you can use the ChT() variable. Specify the row and a textchannel as parameters of this function.
    But because you created a textchannels with a length that equals the numlber of displayed channels i think you rather want to copy the content of a specific header property to the rows of that column. In this case it might be most convenient to program a for loop and use the loop variable to reference the individual channels. With the command ChnPropGet(), the channel number and the property name you can read the value of a property.  Even here, use ChT() to store the data into the new channel.

  • Service Item and Standard item to be copie

    Friends,
    We are trying to configure service Item (without Delivery ) with a standard Item for our sales orders.
    I have used TAN for Std.Item and TAD for services.
    Business need:
    Products purchased by our customers need personalization for every product. Some customers may not need personalization.
    We want the Design Charges ( just a service ) + Product (std.Item) to be captured in Sales order. But, the service Item should not be copied to Delivery..and after subsequent TO and PGI (for Std.Item), when we get to the Billing with ref to the Delivery just made, we should see both Design Charge (Service Item ) and the Std.Item in the Billing doc.
    I tried to set the copy controls for the service item from SO to Billing (with out delivery)...but I am not able to see both the Items in one Billing document.
    I could get this when the Desing charge is passed through the Delivery document (although not relevent for delivery and TO)..then to Billing.
    But the business needs the Design charge to be shown in Billing documents only and not in Delivery.
    Do we have a way to do so? OR>LF (without Designcharge)->F2 (with item and Design charge)..how to achieve this.
    The Item categories used are TAN and TAD.
    Need your definate  help.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    It is not possible to get Service Item w/o delivery in to Invoice along with the the delivery item..unless the Service item is configured as item relevant to delivery.

  • Hi experts how to see Main items and subitems of a configural product

    Hi CRM experts
    Can please tell me how to check the Main item and subitems of the business transcaion of configurable product in CRM.
    what is the key field to check subitems for particular main item.
    eg:
    1. main iteam
    1.1 subitem.
    1.1.1 subitem1.

    Your question is not very clear.Can you please write in detail giving an example.
    From what I gather, you probably have 2 blocks.
    One will be a query block where you have a list item(countries) , when you select a country, you want data to be retrieved in Block 2(Detail block).
    Based on this assumption, you will have to code on when-list-changed trigger.
    go_block('detail_block');

  • How to include both items and service on Sales Orders

    Hello experts,
    I have a client who wants to include extra handling charges such as gift wrapping charges on their sales order in addition to regular items that is on the sales order.
    If I create the sales order as a Item/Service Type ='Service'. I can select the correct G/L account for this Sales Order. But if I create the sales order as a Item/Service Type ='Item', then I can only select items and not the sales order.
    The client wants to include both the items and service in the sales order. Is there a way to do this in SAP B1?
    Michael

    Hello Michael,
    I think you may create Service type items to include both by Item Type documents.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • How to track Service Item in Install Base

    Hi,
    How to track a Service Item in Install Base. If I'm right, when we define the item as Service Item in Inventory, Install Base Trackable cannot be enableed...
    Scenario:
    Customer is doing some services to its customer which has a contract for 1 Year. So we are creating service as Service Item in Inventory and then we create a contract for this service item.
    How do we track this in Install Base?
    Please help
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pavithara R.

    Hi,
    A service item by definition need not be tracked in IB. The service may be provided on a machine or asset which will be tracked in IB. Since service item is not a tangiable item, it is not IB trackable.
    Kindly explain the business scenario to track the service item in IB.

  • How to Setup Service Desk and CHARM in Solu Man 4.0

    Hi Gurus
    I am New to Solution Manager 4.0 and i want to setup Service Desk and Change Request Management for my client. Any one help me to guide where i can start and after configuring how the functionality of service desk and change request management.
    Can anybody send the documents with screen shot how to configure and how it lokks after Configuration.
    My client requirement is he wants to make Service desk as a ticketing tool and Charm as Change management tool
    Please help me
    Piont rewarded for solution
    Rajesh

    Hello
    I have configured Ibase for Charm, i followed spro config info as follows:
    Manually Create and Assign the Component Systems asiBase
    In this IMG activity, you define the Installed Base (iBase) manually, that is for refreshing existing iBases after solutions have been changed.
    An iBase component has to be created for each satellite system from which Service Desk messages will be sent to the SAP Solution Manager system.
    For the Value Added Reseller (VAR), it is not absolutely necessary to manually define the iBase at this point. We recommend, however, that you carry out this step so that you have a functioning test scenario.
    Activities
    1. In transaction Change Installed Base (IB52), choose iBase No. 1 (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP).
    2. Create under the IBase Header (SOL_MAN_DATA_REP) an IBase component, for example the SAP component system (SAP WEB AS) or use an existing one.
    3. To assign the systems as iBase components, go to the Text item tab.
    Three components are included in the standard package.
    4. Add all the satellite systems as text items to the table:
    Column Short text: Description of the system
    Column Identification: System ID, installation number, client
    5. Save.
    After changes have been made to a solution, repeat these steps to update system landscape data for iBase.
    Note:
    Every system is only listed once in the iBases. That means a system is not listed in an iBase if it has been listed in another iBase before.
    If the identification is not entered correctly, the system cannot correctly identify the component from the incoming Service Desk message.
    Its really good and I have set up the config in that way only.
    If useful reward the points.
    Thanks
    Regards
    Sharmishtha

  • Finished product in one plant and finished product in another plant

    Hi ,
      In one plant client is manufacturing a finished and he is selling from the same plant and this product he is doing stock transport (sto) to another plant where he is using it as semifinished in the assembly.
    Ex.Bike handle is manufacturing in one plant and selling it from the same plant to the customer.Here this product is a finished good.Where as same material is used as during the assembly of Bike in other plant where this product is used as semifinished.
    Please guide how to make the same material code as finished in one plant and as semifinished in other plant.
    Regards,
    vr

    Hello
    As per my knowldge, it is not possible to maintain same material code in this scenario.
    All you can do is to make 2 matrial codes for finished and semifinshed material and at the time of STO betweem the plants, Do material to material transfer (movement type 309) either before issuing for STO from plant 1 or after receiving in plant 2.
    Will explain the steps:
    Material code M0001- finished good (handle) in plant A.
    Material code M0002- Semifinished goods (handle) to be maintained in plant A and plant B.
    STO (material code M0002) for stock to be transferred from Pant A to Plant B.
    Material to material transfer (M0001 to M0002)in plant A using movement type 309.
    GI (Material M0002) from Plant A against STO.
    GR (Material M0002) at Plant B.
    Hope it is clear.
    Regards

  • How to display total "items" and "amount " in header.jsp in CRM ISA B2B

    Hi,
    I am modifying “header.jsp” in standard CRM ISA B2B application.  Here we have summary of total number of items and total amount but it is coming in to button and for that below code is there in “header.jsp” and it display it as button text.
    if (!ui.homActivated) { %>
    !!" alt="" border="0" height="16" width="20">
    </td>
    <td class="vertical-align-middle" name="miniBasket" value="<isa:translate key="b2b.header.minibasket.default"/>" >
            <form name="basketForm" action="javascript:show_basket();">
         <input class="green" name="miniBasket" type="button" value="<isa:translate key="b2b.header.minibasket.default"/>"/>
        </form>
    </td>
    <% } else { %>
    <!-- HOM scenario - minibasket displays collective order -->
    <td  class="vertical-align-middle" align="right">
    !!" alt="" border="0" height="16" width="20">
    </td>
    <td  class="vertical-align-middle" name="miniBasket" value="<isa:translate key="b2b.header.collorder.default"/>">
    <form name="basketForm" action="javascript:show_collective_order();">
        <input class="green" name="miniBasket" type="button" value="<isa:translate key="b2b.header.collorder.default"/>"/>
    </form>
    </td>
    <% } %>
    Now I want to display total number of items and total amount separately in two different <td> element.
    How I can get total number of items and total amount in “header.jsp” I tried below code but did not get any success.
    Insert below line in “header.jsp” with respective page import statement for class or let me know which class I have to import.
    <%
         HeaderSalesDocument  hdr =
                (HeaderSalesDocument) request.getAttribute(MaintainBasketBaseAction.RK_HEADER);
        ItemList items =
                (ItemList) request.getAttribute(MaintainBasketBaseAction.RK_ITEMS);
    %>
    And then I use
    <td><%= hdr.getNetValue() %></td>
    <td><%= items.size() %></td>
    But it is not printing any thing and header page not display at all.
    Pl. tell me how to get total amount and number of items in header area. Which class or object I have to use here.
    I really appreciated any help from any one.
    Thanks and regards.
    Ashish Patel.

    Hi, I tried another logic. I took value from  Standard button, in which B2B application display total items and amount and I hide this field, to another text element.
    Now I Am breaking that value in words and stored them in array  and then trying to display that array with particular number which contains total item and amount through Java Script on Focus.
    But problem here is, It is not getting updated automatically I have to click on new text files to trigger Onfocus event. How I can achieve effect like as soon as Standard button changes it's value which is now hidden filed my new text box should update automatically.
    Thanks.
    Ashish
