How to display a correct impulse response of VNA 8753ES in Labview 8.5.1

Hi guys,
I am trying to display a correct impulse response in Labview . The attachment is the VI code I used and its block diagram. This VI code performs the transfer function in the front panel when the time domain switch is off. This part is correct. When I displayed the impulse response with the XYgraph.vi, I got a problem.
For example, in the frequency domain, The initial conditions of the VNA were:
meas: S21
start: 1GHz
stop:5GHz
points: 1601
In the time domain, I should get the impulse response with the total length 400ns (1/((stop-start)/(points-1))). Without setting the range of impulse response, the default start and stop points are -20ns and 20ns respectively. Thus, I set the start point at 0s and the stop point at 400ns. However, the result only showed me 320ns. I found the problem is that when the time domain switch is on, Labview ignore the frequency start point and assume it is equal to 0 Hz. The calculation of the total length of the impulse response became (1/((stop - 0Hz)/(points-1)). I will appreciate that if you give me some suggestions to fix this problem. Thank you.

Thank you for your advise. You are correct. The data in the cluster is correct, but the graph is not what I expect.
I already modified the Vi I used. I hope it is easy to understand this time. Please refer to the attached files. In 16362testing.vi, I use a case structure to decide whether the instrument running in time or in frequency domain. When the time domain switch is off, start and stop frequencies are inquired respectively so that each frequency point in X axis can be calculated. When the switch is on, each time point can be acquired.
However, I only consider the start time is at 0 s and the stop time is the length of one time period of an impulse response. I know this is not good approach. If I change start and stop time to some arbitrary numbers, the time axis will be wrong. For example, Assuming that frequency bandwidth from 1-4 GHz with 1601 points, based on the calculation in the VNA, one time period is equal to 533 ns (=1/((4 GHz -1 GHz)/(1601 - 1))). If I decide to show the impulse response from 0s - 400ns, I will get wrong time axis because the time interval is calculated by ((400ns - 0s)/(1600 - 1)). Do you have any suggestions??
By the way, would you please give some examples using chart, instead of XY graph?

This is not really related to Jave ServerFaces, however, since I am using JSF to build my application, I thought I would post it here.
I am trying to display images by using the following tag

alt="#{mainMenuController.item.customerFacingName}"/>The above tag is doing what it is supposed to do, that is display an image with height: 200 and width: 140, which is equal to the aspect ratio
of 1.43 (=200/143).
However, some of the images that I want to display, do not have
the aspect ratio of 1.43. As a result of that, their height or width is modified according to the above values. This distorts some of the imsage.
I was wondering if some one else had faced that problem and solved it. One solution that can work is to edit the images to produce an aspect ratio of 1.43, however, editing the individual images is not feasible.
One probable solution that comes to mind is via CSS: that is by FLOATing the image in a box of fixed height and width. By doing this, the aspect ratio of the image will not be affected. I do not know if FLOATing an image in a box is possible or not. I do not know how to float an image in a box.
More over, I am using Tiles to control the layout. Defining an image box within a <DIV> tag might complicate things.
Any ideas, comment, suggestion will be heplful!

Time From field is not getting displayed in correct format in Activities

Hello Experts ,
We are facing one problem in UI , when we search for Activities in Web UI . In the field "Time From" we are not getting the time in correct format , ie is instead of getting time as say 13::38 we are getting time as 13::3 , but when we place cursor on it the field it shows correct format say 13::38.
Can any one suggest how to display in correct format ?

I finally go it to display. but now I have new problem. The browser shows the text without the /n/r.
But when I view the source using 'view->source', if see that the text has got proper format with newline and carriage returns.
Any ideas how to display it correctly in the browser?

How can I display JTextFields correctly on a JPanel using GridBagLayout?

I had some inputfields on a JPanel using the boxLayout. All was ok. Then I decided to change the panellayout to GridBagLayout. The JLabel fields are displayed correctly but the JTextField aren't. They are at the JPanel but have a size of 0??? So we cannot see what we type in these fields... Even when I put some text in the field before putting it on the panel.
How can I display JTextFields correctly on a JPanel using GridBagLayout?

How to display response of http request as a web page in ABAP?

Hi all,
In ABAP, we can use class <b>cl_http_client</b> to send a http requst and then got the response data as a XSTRING variable. Usually, the response data is the html source of a web page. How to display this web page within dynpro?
I found we can use class <b>cl_gui_html_viewer</b> to display the web page of a URL or data in SAP web respository. Is there any way of using it to load response data in cl_http_client and display that web page?

1. use http_client->response->get_cdata( ).
to get the response data in string format instead of xstring format.
2. use FM CONVERT_STRING_TO_TABLE to covert the string to table of type W3HTML
3. use method

How to configure the ST03N and ST06 for displaying the correct data?

I have just finished a internal project installation following the installation guide.
Our R/3 System can run correctly. However, when I type st03n, it displays some strange data instead of the real server information. and also in st06, I cannot get the real OS information.
The OS collector said that saposcol is not running because of no process id found.
But in the OS level, I've checked the server and saposcol -s said that the saposcol is running correctly.
I searched some notes and modify the processor of the SAPOSCOl service, too. But nothing changes.
I think the ST06 issue is the root cause of the ST03N.
I just wonder that how I could configure the system to make the ST03N or the ST06 display the correct statistics?

I got the answer myself.
I didn't know there were some standard jobs that are required to scheduled for a live R/3 System.
In SM36, find the standard jobs and input 'bc' in sap components and select the jobs scheduling job and set it as periodly run jobs(hourly).
then release the schedule.
And note 16083 has all the information.

How to Store SD Impulse Responses on External Drive?

I'm curious as how to set up my folders so my impulse responses for Space Designer can be stored on an external drive. I dragged the impulse response folder into my external then created an alias and stored that where my IR's were originally, but it doesn't work. It asks me to search for them every time, so I end up going folder by folder until I find them on my external and then they load. How do I get it so they just load as if they were stored where they were originally stored?

Logic uses Spotlight search results to know where Impulse Responses are so you should be able to move them and Logic will find them once the drive is indexed. Do you have Spotlight disabled on that drive? Has it ever been indexed? Not a good idea to put them on a recording drive BTW. You generally want to disable Spotlight from indexing recording drives to prevent performance issues when it indexes it and that will prevent Logic from finding them.
What is your purpose for moving the factory impulse responses?

How can we handle graphics in DITA source files in order to display them correctly both in PDF and H

We are using FM9 to publish PDF and HTML output from DITA source files and we cannot find a way to display images correctly. By adjusting the appropriate DPI, the image gets correctly displayed in HTML but not in PDF where it appears cropped according to the the text frames of the source file in FM9, like this:
We have tried to enlarge the text frame in the source file but for some reasons FrameMaker doesn't take these changes into account.
By modifying the attribute of the element <fig> (expanse = page), it was possible to improve a bit the rendering in the PDF but not completely.
Our graphics are in JPG format.
Any help on this is highly appreciated.

DITA doesn't provide a way to store additional information about anchored frame properties (since there is no "frame" element, just image), that's why FrameMaker doesn't allow you to set the frame size to something other than the image dimensions.
The "standard" DITA way to reference an image with two different DPIs is to insert multiple fig/image elements and conditionalize (via attributes and ditaval) each image so it shows up in the proper output. This can be a bit tedious to insert two images for each instance, but that's the typical way to handle it (unless you've got a CMS that switches the images for different output types).
If you use DITA-FMx, it provides a "fmdpi" feature which allows you to tag an image with the DPI you want to use in the FrameMaker-generated output, but the DITA coding sets no DPI (or height/width), so it uses the default image size for your HTML output.

Space Designer How to load impulse responses from meny?

I'm trying to get Logic to regocnize the impulse responses I've put in the /Library/App Support/Logic/Impulse Responses.
I have to load any external impulse manually. Is there a way to get them just in the "Load" meny as the presets are to save time and to make it easy to browse trough?

In Altiverb I've seen that it's just to put them all in a folder and then the program scans it to be in the presets list.

How do I display the correct value when using SELECT_LIST_FROM_QUERY

I have an updatable report that displays the possible values for a field.
I'm using HTMLDB_ITEM.SELECT_LIST_FROM_QUERY, so obviously I have to process the record manually.
However, I need the trick to display the correct value as selected before processing the records.

How to display a text file in a html page?

I have written a servlet that executes a batch file whose output is saved to a txt file. I am attempting to display content of the text file as a html page from the servlet but am struggling I have attempted to read the file and output it as shown below but it is not displaying the correct data

Couple of things. First you should search the forums for how to properly exec a dos batch file. There are some problems you may run into especially with io. I suspect you may not actually be running that batch file at all.
I would test outputing a text file separately from execing the batch file.
Here is some code so you don't have to output 1 char at a time. Setting the content length and closing the output stream might help.

I am using Struts 2. I am building my file in ActionClass with seperate Method like getGeneratedPDF() in which, I am setting header of response and writing into PDF.
This method will be called from JSP by this way

But It displayed Junk Characters , and this PDF is not static (already Generated). It is generated and build on Fly.
I have 2 questions 1 -- How to display PDF in JSP in proper way without Junk Character in it?
questions 2 -- How to display it in Iframe?
Please help me , If you know the solution.

You can display it standalone, just let the link/form/addressbar URL point to some Servlet which writes the InputStream of the PDF file to the OutputStream of the response, along with a correct set of response headers (at least content-type, content-disposition and content-length), so that the browser can open it in the correct application (which is usually Acrobat Reader). If you want to embed the PDF file in a JSP, then one of the ways is indeed using the HTML <iframe> tag.
questions 2 -- How to display it in Iframe? Just let the iframe URL point to the aforementioned Servlet.
