How to do setting to find Document Type on my FB50 Screen?

Hi,
In my system when I open any document for posting, for Example: FB50 in ECC6, it wont show document type, but when I check with my other colleagues system, there its showing Document type SA
I m sure their must be some setting to find this on your screen?
please let me know this setting?

Hi:
        In FB50 you can see an button Editing options on top right..Just click it. In new screen you will be able to see the Doc.type option. Set it as Doc type ready for input. This should solve your issue.

    The document type is hard coded by the system. Look at UDC table 00/DT for the document types in your system. Notice that some of those are marked as hard coded/reserved by JDE. You may wish to dowload the Accounts Receivable manual and read that to learn more about the document types.
    Not sure what you mean by algorithm, unless you are looking for how the system determines what document type to assign on invoice entry.
    These comments apply to accounts receivable and to JDE World, since you posted in the JDE World forum and are talking about the customer ledger inquiry. If you are in Enterprise One and asking about Accounts Payable, then this reply can be ignored (though Enterprise One works pretty similar to World in this respect).
    What is the use of the Customer Ledger Inquiry. To view accounts receivable detail history for a given customer, viewing on line. Whomever works in the accounts receivable department will likely use the Customer Ledger Inquiry quite a bit.

    On your Windows desktop right click and select Screen resolution from the menu. You should see a window like this:
    Make sure you select Extend and then set your resolutions for each monitor.
    If this does not work for you try asking on a Windows forum about extending displays to a second monitor.

    Just to explain, whenever we checkin , first the document type is determined and then the file is added. So at the beginning the system cannot know the file format or workstation application.
    So from my point of view maybe a solution could be to use the BADI DOCUMENT_MAIN01 with method BEFORE_SAVE to change the document type in reference to the involved entries in table DOCFILES.

  • How can I set the finder window to open the same way every time?

    Everytime I open Finder it goes back to it's default view which is just too small, but I want to set the finder columns and window so that they open the same exact way every single time. I'm tired of resizing everything.
    Currently I have to resize every window and column everytime and I think my work is much slower then when I was on Windows because of it.
    Is there a setting, script, file, patch, anything, is there absolutely anything I can do to actually control the Finder views and make them adjust to MY criteria and stay that way...

    That is a big negative. That does absolutely nothing other then close my window, next time the finder window is opened then the column widths are small again.
    In Windows Explorer all your windows are customizable, how do I do this with Finder?

    I have defined a leading ledger in system too with these settings

    4)     Defining accounting principles
    5)     Assignment of principles to leading ledger.  
    Are there any extra settings required for leading ledger settings?
    I have some doubts those are :-

    The document numbers in the leading ledger and the non leading ledgers should be in sync, they should not have any differences, so incase you are trying to change the number range for C1, the  number range 07 is already been assigned to doc type AE. i guess you have cant use 07 for C1. may be you can try out with an other number range. check this and let me know if you are able to do this.

    path : SPRO- financial accounting new -financial accounting global settings new - document -document types -define document types for entry view in ledger.
    upon prompt enter the ledger and go ahead creating the number ranges for the document types.

    There is no copy control and the above step controls the relation between the billing and excise invoice.

    You cannot create your own Excise Invoice Document type but you can create a Sub Transaction type and assign it while creating Excise Invoice to differentiate and pass the values to a different GL.
