How to handle 2 semanticaly different characters with same master-data?

I've got a little moddeling problem - here's the szenario:
I've got a cube with a dimension "Customer".
This dimension shall have the following characteristics
- CustomerNumber (0Customer),
- Region_Cust (0Region (or reference of 0Region))
- Country_Cust (0Country (or reference of 0Country))
- Region_ShippedTo (ZRegion (=Reference of 0Region))
- Country_ShippedTo (ZRegion (=Reference of 0Region))
(The mentioned Info-Objects are just a proposal)
The regions need to be in the cube (for historical correctness) - (Display-)Attributes won't help.
The hatch: 0Region has a compound with 0Country. There seems to be no way to tell Region_ShippedTo to use ZRegion for the compound.
Let's say a customer has it's headquarter in Germany(Region: Berlin) - while the product is shipped to the brance in France(Region: Ile-de-France). Imho this is currently not modellable.
So how can one implement that (not that artificial) szenario without beeing forced to dublicate and keep synchronized the 0Country-InfoObject and all of its master-data? Master-Data should imho follow the idea of beeing centralized - it should be useable for the customer country/region as well as for the shipped-to country/region.
Could you please gimme a hint how to solute that problem?

Unfortunately the time-dependance is just the half job.
I fear I've to modify my szenario for making my problem clear:
Customer (with region_customer and country_customer) orders a product which might need to be shipped to a different region/county for every new order. (Simple example: Customer often orders flowers at flowershop.net - which need to be shipped to an always different ship-to region/country ).
In that case I certainly can't store the ship-to region/country in the customer's master-data, can I?
But I need them for futher analyze. In this case I need to add them to the cube - and it needs to be navigation-enabled. (region_shippedTo, country_shipedTo)
Now I want to report all customers from France together with all regions where the product was shipped-to.
Is that possible? Can I set a filter for country_customer (=0Country) without filtering the shipped-to regions (which are references of 0Region, which has a compound-key with 0Country) at the same moment? Will the report still show me the flowers shipped to Berlin?
Hope I could clearify my question a bit!?

How to handle a Customer Plants with same Physical Address

We have customers that have multiple plants in the same physical address. I need to be able to ship to the physical address but in va03 I also need to tell which lines are for which plant. So my question is how is best to handle this?
Here are the options I can think of.
1) Each customer plant will be its own ship to even though they would be the same physical address and contact information.
2) Create a Partner that will hold each plant that will be attached to the ship to. This would work similar to Manufacture and Manufacture Plant in Purchasing. Then this customer plant partner would be attached to the sales order line in addition to ship to.
3) Use Option 2 but figure out what SAP standard partner for customer plant is.
Does anybody have better ideas?
Which one is the most appropriate to do?

Hi
You can map them as different Unloading points and enter the details in the Customer master unloading points details. When the slaes order is created, a pop screen will show you the different unloading points to chose one among them. This should solve your issue.

Usually, if two users try to update the same row at the same time, you want the first to commit to succeed, and when the second commits, they should fail with the error that the row was being concurrently updated. They you may want to show them the new row values and give them the opportunity to merge their values with the new row values...
How can you achieve this? Google optimistic locking.

I have created a payment method and selected "Payment per due day " option in payment method company code settings.
Even I have selected that option, Payment will not happen grouping for the items with same due date
for ex : I have two open items with one due date and another open item with another due date so when I am trying performing F110 system should make a single payment for the item with same due date and seperate payment for another item.
But system making single payment for all items
Could you please suggest anything how to make a seperate payment with due date.

Please check Vendor Master data: FK02 ->company code data -> Payment transaction accounting: unflag 'individual payment'.
Make a test and let me know if it's okay.

Can I run 2 different domains with same name but on 2 different machines?

I am trying to setup 2 domains with same name (sharedcds1) on 2 different machines (Machine1 and Machine2).
          When I start the weblogic managed server 1 (sharedcds1managedserver1) on Machine2, it throws an error saying it has some conflicts with the managed server 1 running on Machine1. How did the managed server of one machine know about the other server. Can I run 2 different domains with same name but on 2 different machines?

Yes you can. Make sure that domains configured to use different multicast address. WLS uses multicast for communications between nodes in domain.
          although your configuration will work, you could have troubles if you going to execute inter-domain calls between domains/servers with the same names.

In a PO you can create 2 items, and each item can be maintained with a different price in the conditions.
In info record it is not possible to have different prices for the same period, except for scales.
so if you have a price of e.g. 2 USD for 1000 kg and 1,90 USD for 2000 kg then you can maintain this in scales, but you still have to have 2 items in the PO so that each one can individually find its price.
Alternative you can create contracts (as well with more than one item) to reflect the different prices and batches.

Requesting license for two different ssystem with same SID

Is it possible to request 2 license for two systems with same SID. The systems are on different machines and their HW key are different but both have same SID. While requesting license, will it permit to create 2 different license with SAME SID.

The one for which the license is already requested is the main development portal with SID EP2. I have installed one local version of SAP EP with the same SID EP2. Now we need a license for the second system.
If we change the HW key of the original license which is already applied in the main development portal under SMP and apply for a new license for the new local version, can it have any future implications, if any.
What is the best way to deal with the situation. Is there a full proof way to change the SID of the EP system, which I can try in the local EP system.

2 Dimensions with the same master data

Dear all,
   In a application,I got 2 dimensions customer and ship-to customer.
   Technically, I maintain the data for both dimensions separately.
   From business point of view ,these 2 dimensions should point to the same master data.
   How can we deal this kind of scenarios in BPC in both MS and NW version ?
   In BW , we can create infoObject by referring to other infoObject.
   The two infoObjects will share the same data storage( the data store in the same table). Dose BPC support this kind of function?

Hi,
As far as I know (MS Versions), you will have to have two different dimensions, meaning two different dim files (.xls) with their respective dim and mbr tables behind. You can not have the same table in the database serving two different dimensions.
What you can of course do is to automate the dimension/s update based on the same reference data. e.g. a DTS / SSIS process getting the data from the source and creating / updating the two physical dimensions in BPC based on a unique source.

If I understand the question, it sounds like you just need to add the flag "ROWS=N" to your export command (I assume that you're talking about the old export utility, not the Data Pump version).

Problem with the master data loads

I am trying to load 0MATERIAL_ATTR in QA,but it is throwing error(Record 2 :0MATERIAL : Data record 2 ('000000000000000012 '): Version '000000000000000012 ' is not va ) and also similar error is coming when i load for 0VERSION(Record 1 :0VERSION : Data record 1 ('000E '): Version '000 ' is not valid ).
but for the same master data object in development with the same R/3 data the loads are successful,only in QA it is giving the problem.

Check if the data you are getting for the two fields in your data loading are correct. I think it has some illegal characters(I guess it has a trailing space). If possible try and correct it in the source system itself.
If you are doing full load for the master data, everytime the system is going to pull these values in and throw error. One other way of avoiding it will be to maintain routines to eliminate these.
The quickfix will be to correct it at the PSA level and load it again.

I am FI consultant and i am doing Research on Synchronization of asset master data with HR master data. Our management wants that if company gives any thing which is regarded as an asset e.g Laptop, expensive tools e.t.c to its employee then beside opening its asset master data in FI it should also be updated in HR Employee master data. For this from FI side there are 3 asset classes for which we want that if any asset is opened in these classes then the data should be updated in HR. I have turned on Personnel number in screen layouts and have fetched this field in asset reports. We want

FOr assets created in FI and reflect them in HR use the feature ANLAC and it will take care.
This feature determines whether or not the system checks the fields Asset number in infotype 0040 (Internal Control) and Loan object number in infotype 0040 (Objects on Loan) against database ANLA.
